Province of South Grozny,
43 Colonel General Alrexondrov Avenue,
The Federal Republic of Autonomous Unified Territories
Welcome to Federal Automotive, the leader in manufacturing of commercial vehicles for the Republic. A state owned corporation, Federal Automotive is focused on driving innovation, safety, and quality in all of our vehicles. Keeping your business on the move is the prime goal of our corporation, and our vehicles focus both on quality and safety.
Despite the stigma attached to state owned corporations, Federal is far from behind the times and is infact a leader in the automotive industry. Federal is a brand trusted nation wide by first responders, police, and governmental agencies. Such agencies require vehicles that are extremely durable, safe, performing and intelligent. All Federal vehicles are based off of existing solutions from various manufacturers to cut down on cost, but are of the highest quality and safety standards. Federal Auto is one of the nations largest employers, with over 10,000 employees currently in production, design, and testing facilities around the globe.
Federal vehicles are tested to the most stringent international safety standards and use modern and highly advanced technologies such as ABS, blind spot protection, electronic stability control and night thermal systems to avoid crashes. Federal Automotive also has exclusive rights to manufacture licensed cars for federal agencies, which are exclusive. Instead of spending precious governmental dollars modifying cars with aftermarket parts, Federal Automotive license builds vehicles that have extensive modifications for the usage of governmental agencies.
Starting from very humble roots, Federal has grown to become the largest national automaker, with 100% of governmental vehicle share, and 24% of the civilian vehicle market. Federal began production in 1919, doing license building of some of the original auto vehicles. 1920 saw the introduction of the mechanized assembly process, something that has been continually improved throughout the corporations history. This mechanization led to a huge improvement of production, which led 1921 to have an output of 1000 cars, a record for the time.
By the year 1930 Federal had adopted a revolutionary system at the time, a bell when merging. When a worker needed to change lanes, he could flash a light and use a bell to indicate a merge. This provided both a visual and audible system that is still used today. Federal vehicles of the modern era now adopt the use of both audible blind spot monitoring, as well as environmentally friendly lighting such as LED rather than expensive and ecologically damaging Halogen technology. Although initially a civilian car manufacturer, by the mid 1930's, the Federal Republic government had begun to adopt Federal vehicles for their own personal vehicles, and governmental transports. The First Secretary of the Presidium declared July 14th, 1936 "Federal Automotive is the finest maker I have ever witnessed; it shall be the governmental decree that they are the national automaker". As a result of this declaration, Federal changed from a civilian car manufacturer to becoming a governmental manufacturer. This meant all services such as the police began to adopt Federal Republic vehicles for usage, and civilian sales became limited. The civilian market was later dominated by other car manufacturers.
Federal automotive faced its biggest challenge when war erupted in 1949. This terrible civil war destroyed the majority of the Federal factories, and all workers were sent to fight for the loyalist forces, leading to an output of only 192 cars for the fiscal year. Until the late 60s, Federal built very few cars and made almost no design or safety innovations. Once peace was restored in the Republic, the Presidium invested heavily in improving the war torn economy, starting with the automotive industry. Federal once again became the premier manufacturer for governmental agencies, and achieved success much greater than before. Modern manufacturing techniques were added and cars were built with excellent quality, safety and features. Cooperation with western manufacturers led to improvements in the manufacturing process, and western safety features were adopted and combined with Federal only features that were invented in the republic. Since the late 70's the Federal Republic has continued to grow the automated manufacturing process, and adopted green technologies both in manufacturing and in the vehicles themselves.
The Headquarters of the great manufacturer are located in South Grozny, and is one of the most environmentally sustainable facilities in the province. The Grozny HQ facility is currently 117,000 square feet and is LEED certified green, one of the finest buildings in the world in terms of environmentally sustainability. Much of the headquarters building is built with solar technology, rain water is recycled and this leads to a very large cut down on operational costs. The facility is where many of the designs for the cars are completed in conjunction with many western manufacturers. Since the nation of the Federal Republic has many ports, the main port in South Grozny services the two light vehicle factories and is containable for all types of ships of sizes and capacities.
Currently, the Federal Republic has 4 production facilities for the range of vehicles that are produced currently.
The Production facilities are located:
- Light Vehicle Production Facility - South Grozny
- Light Van Production Facility - North Grozny
- Medium Mover Production Facility - Oblast of Gremsnoy
- Heavy Mover Development Facility - Oblast of Gremsnoy
South Grozny Light Vehicle Production Facility
The South Grozny facility is the main production light vehicle facility that currently makes two different car models. This facility is also Leed certified gaining this for both the use of rainwater recycling, solar and wind technology with a highly modern factory that is well lit, and incredibly safe. This plant is capable of producing over 10,000 vehicles per year of both model types. The facility also has the sole contract to manufacture police vehicles for the Federal Police and Federal Commissariat for State Security, as well as the Presidium of the Federal Republic.
North Grozny Light Van Production Facility
The North Grozny facility is responsible for making the current three models of light vans used for transport and used extensively by the Police Force. The North plant is also environmentally sustainable, using the same technology in green industry that is shared with the South Grozny plant. The North plant also develops new safety features that are very revolutionary for a industrial van such as anti roll technology and traction anti lock systems.
