Hyperion Heavy Industries

About Us
Hyperion Heavy Industries is the largest independent builder of civilian and military vessels in Lamborghinia and in the region. Since the 18th century, we have been producing the merchant and naval vessels that fuel the Lamborghinian military and commerce, which has grown very powerful due to our ships. We build civilian ships that would bring in and out cargo and goods from and to Lamborghinia, and powerful naval vessels that would ensure protection of the busy seas of the Modern World.

Our History
The very first shipyard was built in Poseidon City, the former capital, when Prince Tristan, the last bloodline of the destroyed Royal Family, established a shipyard to construct ships that would roam the oceans. Without the former monarch, Prince Tristan thought that shipbuilding was the few ways he could restore the glory of the former Royal Family, and rise to greatness. The company started up as a shipyard for building clipper ships by the seas, until we were the first company to import iron ship technology, building ships out of modern engines and steel.
Even after the death of Prince Tristan, we have continued building commercial and military vessels to ensure that the seas are safe from piracy and doom. For almost three hundred years, we have been making our name more well-known, possibly restoring the courage and the glory of the Royal Family that Prince Tristan once dreamed before the coasts of Poseidon City.

Our Shipyards

Postby Lamborghinia » Fri Mar 08, 2013 1:14 am

We have a number of shipyards both regionally and globally. Among our region, we have formed a complete network of shipyards, which produces joint products through cooperation and local supplies instead of politically unstable foreign ones.
Here's our list of shipyards (not really in order):

1. Port Aventador Shipyards (Lamborghinia)

2. New Chicago Naval Industry Complex (Lamborghinia)

3. South Erebus Shipyards (Lamborghinia)

4. Fort Antonio Shipyard (Valdinica)

5. Zenithopolis Shipyards (Great Zenith)

6. Prima de Ville Heavy Industry Complex (Lamborghinia)

1. Clipper-Class Container Ship

Postby Lamborghinia » Sat Mar 09, 2013 2:15 am

Image

The Clipper-Class Container Ship is one of the most popular and best products created by Hyperion Heavy Industries. Originally developed in the 1980s by Lamborghinia Maritime Cargo Inc., it was designed for efficient international/regional shipping and has undergone continuous modifications to serve in transporting cargo ever more efficiently and quickly.

The cargo hold is designed to make as much as we could for the ship's dimensions, with specially-shaped cell guides arranged for global standard containers. When fully loaded, the Clipper-Class container is capable of taking 4,000 TEU containers. This amount and the size is perfect for short-to-medium range international shipping and is sufficiently small to navigate through most most of the straits and canals.

Like other competitors, we all realize the significance of efficiency in the maritime cargo business. While the Clipper may have a high initial cost, it does more than compensate for the loss as time passes with relatively very low operating costs, assuming that the ship receives regular maintenance from operators. The vessel is designed to operate at a maximum of efficiency, powered by very efficient diesel-electric ship engines that are sustainable. The recommended crew size is a mere 12, though the ship has accommodation for more and can hold up to forty in its lifeboats in such emergencies.

The Clipper-Class Containers have advanced systems that would enable it to punch through ice and some obstacles. With a multi-layer hull, the ship remains afloat even when some layers collapse, against a hole or leak in the outer hulls, with the gaps not too narrow or too wide, enough to hold the same amount of cargo. The bow is shaped so as to maximize the ship's ice-breaking ability, curving enough to punch through broken ice in cold seas. However, Hyperion Heavy Industries does not guarantee that the Clipper-Class would be capable of punching through thick ice, like those glaciers in the Arctic Ocean. We advise you to use an icebreaker.

Due to international law, we have added four mounted high-powered water cannons to deter pirates or other attackers, and four weapons lockers are located at each corner of the ship in case of battle against pirates. The standard purchase also includes lifeboats, which are equipped with makeshift electric engines that would hold at a speed of fifty knots per hour for about eight hours. No additional purchases are required for this.

There are a number of options you could include in the ship. You could add mounted cranes for additional convenience for loading cargo in and out of the ship. For the mounted cranes, the price is $20 million for each mounted crane you add.

2. Cargomaster-Class Cargo Ship

Postby Lamborghinia » Sat Mar 09, 2013 2:15 am

Image
The Cargomaster-Class Container Ship is one of the most anticipated products created by Hyperion Heavy Industries. Since its development in 2010, the Cargomaster-Class Cargo ship was well-designed for trans-oceanic lines and international/inter-regional sea lines to transport massive amounts of cargo in one shot.

The cargo hold for the Cargomaster-Class is designed to make as much as the ship could, with specially-shaped cell guides arranged for global standard containers. When fully loaded, the Clipper-Class container is capable of taking up to 10,000 TEU containers, using one of the most efficient technology. This amount and the size is considered New Panamax, meaning that it could have access for canals like the new Panama canal, instead of the old one.

Distinct from all the other ships, the Cargomaster-Class ships features a lot more different innovations in energy: it gathers most of its energy from the solar panels constructed above (see the blue part on the picture). With the solar panels, we gather up about 70 percent of the total energy the ship uses, meaning it could carry less fuel and more cargo, generally making cargo transport more efficient and cheaper.

The Cargomaster-Class Containers have advanced systems that would enable it to punch through ice and some obstacles. With a multi-layer hull, the ship remains afloat and steadfast even when some layers are holed, against a hole or leak in the outer hulls, with the gaps not too narrow or too wide, enough to hold almost the same amount of cargo before the destruction. The bow is shaped so as to maximize the ship's ice-breaking ability, curving enough to punch through most sea ice in cold seas. However, Hyperion Heavy Industries does not guarantee that the Clipper-Class would be capable of punching through thick, permanent ice, like those glaciers in the Arctic Ocean. We advise you to use icebreakers for this particular job.

Due to international law, we have added six mounted high-powered water cannons to deter pirates or other attackers, two more than the Clipper-Class. We also have six weapons lockers are located at each corner of the ship and the center of the ship, in case of battle against pirates. The standard purchase also includes lifeboats, which are equipped with makeshift electric engines that would hold at a speed of fifty knots per hour for about ten hours. No additional purchases are required for this.

There are a number of options you could include in the ship. You could add mounted cranes for additional convenience for loading cargo in and out of the ship. For the mounted cranes, the price is $20 million (or 40 million, depending on the size you choose: if you choose large cranes, it costs 40 million) for each mounted crane you add.

Specifications

Length: Total 350 meters
Length (waterline): 331 meters
Beam: 42 meters
Draft: 15 meters
Displacement (full): 115,000 tonnes
Speed: 20.7 knots
Capacity: 10,000 TEU Containers
Crew: 16
Price (excluding extra cranes): $64,000,000
