Ports of Call
The City of Broków - Capital of Wielkilas and home to many sites of cultural and historical importance. Old palaces, wisent riding/jousting grounds, castles, and churches (such as the Gothic St. Stanislaus Cathedral) can all be found among the modern and vibrant city.

The Tanów River runs through the heart of the city and is flanked by parkland, shopping districts, and quaint riverside neighborhoods.

The culinary scene is a vibrant one and as well as finding restaurants serving cuisines from around the world, you may also find those restaurants that serve up the unique cuisine of the city itself.

The Broków Hill settlement is an important archaeological site that has been studied continuously since its discovery in 1883. The site dates to the Chalcolithic Period (5,150 BC) and is composed of a walled village that sits on the eastward side of the hill, giving it a clear view of the surrounding countryside.

Aside what is already listed for Broków, there is a vibrant nightlife including bars and nightclubs, museums, sporting events (football and ice hockey are among the most popular), and much more!

La Lucette is the largest city in the Talreaux region and a center of culture and commerce. The commercial port of La Lucette is among the largest and busiest in the region and is surrounded a by very vibrant community that hosts the largest population of foreign born citizens and/or residents in the nation. As a center of culture La Lucette is and has been home to artists and composers of all stripes, many of which are well known not only in Wielkilas, but also the wider world.

The Orchestre de La Lucette is arguably the finest in the nation and holds regular concerts throughout the year with the annual Hanukhah concert series as the most unique and well attended of the year. Founded in 1489, the Conservatoire supérieur de musique et de danse de La Lucette, or La Conservatoire as it is known colloquially, is the premiere conservatory in the nation and can claim many incredibly talented and well known individuals among its graduates. The school is split into two separate campuses with the original structure housing the school of dance while the school of music housed in a large modern structure.

La Lucette is home to many historic synagogues, several of which are constructed in the unique "Jewish Gothic" style. Shops, parks, restaurants, museums, galleries, and theaters, castles, and tree lined boulevards are very common in the city and offer a wide variety of opportunities for lovers of culture. La Lucette is also well known for its large and amazingly landscaped zoo which holds a large assortment of creatures from around the world. The 21 arrondissements of La Lucette offer a trip through the history of the city from its medieval beginnings, to the renaissance, and through to the modern era. The region around La Lucette (indeed the entire Talreaux region) is well known for its many vineyards and wineries.

A final point of note is the military port of La Lucette which operates as the headquarters Wielkilas' southern naval region and is the home port of the OLW Ania II.

Kalbork is a lazy city on the east coast of Wielkilas that until the early 19th century was a lazy little fishing village known for little else other than local Christmas Cod Festival. Following the Cornellian invasion in the early years of the 19th century though, the city became the de facto capital of the Grand Duchy when Grand Duke Bolesław III retreated to the city. Throughout the first half of the 19th century the city remained free of Cornellian influence and grew explosively as immigrants from around the nation flocked to the city to escape the Cornellian occupation.

The city boasts many impressive fortifications, many of which are ingenious pieces of military engineering from the first half of the 19th century and beyond. The city is a center for industry and high technology. Kalbork is also very much a university and research city and as such caters to a large youth population. And as such, nightclubs, bars, and youth hostels are very common within the city.

The city of Kalbork is full of history and historical structures.

The Archducal Palace of Kolwice is masterpiece of the Wielkilasin Neo-Rococco style and is among the most richly decorated and ornate structures in the nation. It houses hundreds of rooms and boasts spectacular landscaping.

Execution Plaza is not so much a single structure as it is a place where hundreds if not thousands of Cornellian officials were executed following Wielkilas’ successful rebellion against Cornellian rule in middle of the 19th century. It is said that Grand Duchess Ania II and Grand Duke Jan IV personally beheaded at least a hundred of these officials themselves. Nowadays, the plaza is home to a large open air market and is also the city’s prime shopping district.

Kalbork is home to many more pieces of unique architecture from the occupation period and often hailed as the birthplace of the Wielkilasin democratic system.

Puszcza Kielwieża - A large, pristine, and rare old growth forest along the southeastern border with Kazakia and engulfing the Słodnica Mountains along their southern expanse. It covers approximately 4,471 square kilometers and is a mixed forest comprising of oak, pine, beech, alder, and spruce. The forest is home to large numbers of birds and other wildlife. Wild boar, wild forest horses, moose, deer, wolves, and the black wisent are among the species native to the Puszcza Kielwieża. Bicycle and hiking trails extend throughout the forest and primitive camping sites can be found in many locations with access generally limited to those on horseback or on foot. On the edges of the forest you may find towns that cater to hikers, campers, cyclists, and of course tourists. It is in one of these towns that you will most likely gain access into the interior of the Puszcza Kielwieża.

1. The Fineberg Zoological Gardens. This is one of those rare zoos which actually features Miocene Epoch animals, including terror birds, proto carnivores and sea mammals, extinct species of fish and the extraordinary giant sloth. Includes a marine and freshwater aquarium and botanical gardens which feature some extinct forms of cycads. Beautifully rebuilt and near the New Edomite Skyfarm Project.

2. Quality Bay Resort. This beautiful resort near Fineberg has sugar sand beaches, windsurfing, yachting, and includes an authentic New Edomite market with cuisine, music and dancing, as well as one of the best casinos in the Region. Three four star hotels are available for the resort, and property is still available to buy or rent estates or houses.

3. New Jewel Resort. Similar to Quality Bay, New Jewel is one of the Region's best naturist resorts, featuring athletics clubs (tennis, scuba diving, yachting, riding), a large beach in a protected bay with windsurfing, yachting, and has riding, cycling and hiking trails in the large area which is owned by New Edom's largest real estate conglomerate and guarantees enjoyment for a few days or for a season. Excellent child care is provided. It is possible to see some of New Edom's rare marine wildlife and land animal life in the nearby nature sanctuaries.

Stays at the Silver Sands Hotel, in rented bungalows or use of campgrounds are available. All are served by local markets and stores. Silvertown, an area within the resort that provides services, has international and Edomite cuisine available, and shops from boat repairs to bookstores.

The Cookish East Coast

The Cookish East Coast is about like that of Florida or Texas. Sandy beaches merge into tall pine forests in the north, and palm groves in the south. There's always lots of exotic food, closely mimicking Mexican cuisine. Temperatures in the winter are still fairly warm, around forty to fifty degrees Fahrenheit. In the summer it can reach one hundred. Vacations here can be quite expensive, but there are also more budget friendly accommodations as you move inland. In spring, it's party central.

Puerto Cocinar

Puerto Cocinar is an island paradise, home to 1.9 million inhabitants. About half the size of Ireland, there's few places that aren't simply stunning to look at. The beaches are unparalleled, and the quaint style of living, compared to the lavish hotel and restaurant options create the perfect blend of simplistic, and luxurious lifestyles. It's the #1 vacation spot in the nation, as well as a premier one for the region. Politicians and actors alike boast suites on this island, which boasts itself to have over six million tourists annually.

Chugiak Mountains

Across the nation near the border with Gehenna Tartarus and New Edom are the Chugiak Mountains. Peaks near 14,000 feet give way to glacial lakes and wondrous views. In the winter, snowboarding and skiing are simply wonderful. Many resorts, primarily family run establishments offer everything one could want from a winter vacation.

There are also smaller vacation spots, such as the shore of Lake Marcellia, which has a very Mediterranean feel to it. However, town markets and other spectacles leave you liable to having your wallet stolen right out of your breast pocket, or hands!

Also, there's the Central Farmland, where you can watch old grumpy farmers complain about their hippy offspring while they labor angrily at picking corn and potatoes...

Visit the various malls throughout the country, or go to the tourist country club with its miles of golf courses. The Emerald city also has many 5 star restaurants for the rich where celebrities can be seen daily.

Port of Call Sign up Sheet
Nation Name: Neu Engollon
Ports of Call: Panoli and Nice
Fun Things to do:
Sightsee the beaches or old architecture and marina front, museums, breweries, wineries and distilleries (tastings and beer/wine festivals); jet skiing, sailing, boating, surfing, casinos at Monte Carlo, clubs/nightlife, sports spectating (rugby, car racing, football, cycling, boating, women's roller derby), world class restaurants and resorts. Seriously, might need to be a multi-day port of call because there's no way cruise passengers could get it all in during one day.
TG me with questions if you got some, especially about GE&T or PMCs.
