Postby The Murry » Fri Sep 21, 2012 7:55 pm

Ever since our nation’s inception the performing arts have held a special place in our citizen’s hearts and the government’s wallet. Our performers from the Mount Gambier Symphony Orchestra (MGSO) to the Royal Murry Theatre Company (RMTC), have practiced for years to become the best in their fields. And we wish to send our performers on a global tour to showcase their skills, to promote The Murry as performing arts country and primarily to dazzle and entertain your citizens with their talents.

[hess is set during the cold war between Russia and America. It is the story of a chess player who defects from Russia to the west to be with an American chess player’s former girlfriend and the political and personal implications that follow.
Some of the more well know songs from this musical are Anthem, Nobody’s Side, One Night Bangkok and I Know Him So Well The music from this amazing show was written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus and the lyrics by Tim Rice.

George Orwell’s 1984 is highly dramatic and politically charged piece which speaks out about the evils of totalitarian Government. It tells the story of man and woman who fight the power of “Big Brother” in an attempt overthrow the Government. If you are a totalitarian state we can make the performance accommodate your tastes.
The is a play that will make people think and engage them the whole way through, Book Now.

Mr Gooden, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Hanne Jakobsen, personal assistant of Cultural Minister Teodor Anthonsen.
Next year the Phoenixian symphony orchestra is going on tour and your ambassador advertised this site to us. We would like to invite the Mount Gambier Symphony Orchestra for a week to shorten the timeframe for our cultural hungry population.
Also we would invite the Royal Murry Theatre Company for the same timeframe you will find the applications on the second sheet.

Dear MR. Hanne Jacobson

Thank you for your invitation however; for reasons of sheer fiscal and practical viability we are not able to condense our program into a week. For the show to be “worth the effort” we must have about a month in a nation. After reviewing the dates suggested:
Aug 15- Sept 16
Sept 15- Oct 14

Dear DR. Terri Montessori

I must regretfully inform you that the times you have allocated for our visits are simply not big enough. The MGSO needs at least a week for the endeavour to be fiscally and practically viable. For the RMTC productions about a month is required, (from the 15th to the 15th is best). Due to the unforseen time expenditures we will not be offended if you don’t one of our shows to visit. This is not the first time someone has made this mistake and I am taking further measures make sure that it does not happen again. If you could please quickly post a few dates that suit that would be great.

Also I must complement your company “Mount Willowdam Graphic” on the programs they look marvellous. I particularly the one for “Chess”.

Minister of Culture: Chairman of the Artistic Department (National Level Council); Bogdan Slaven Zupan. Chairwoman of the Artistic Department Council of New Glasgow; Katarin Yates.
Name of Concert Hall: The Peoples National Concert Hall (Colloquially known as "The Peoples National")
Name of City concert hall is located in: New Glasgow
Top three preferences for touring dates.

2) October 11th - October 18th
3) December 1st - December 8th
Anyone that we should/should not forget to invite for political reasons: None are to be explicitly denied entry, although it is ill-advisable for the leaders of Corporate groups generally percieved to be uncharitable and to have a habit of meddling in government affairs in other countries (in an unconstitutional manner), to not be invited, as the Peoples opinion of such individuals is generally low. However, no person is to be denied consideration for invitation based on their ethnicity, religion, culture or political beliefs.
Would you like to be on our mailing list: Yes

Additionally, the Party would like to note that although the Program of the Orchestra will undoubtably prove popular in New Glasgow, Ravel's Bolero is a traditionally popular tune throughout many areas of Glaswegistan, and as such; would like to request its addition to the program during any prospective Glaswegistan Tour, and would be happy to pay extra if required.

Minister of Culture: Chairman of the Artistic Department (National Level Council); Bogdan Slaven Zupan. Chairman of the Artistic Department Council of Fort Wallace; George Henry Stuart-Luhg.

Top three preferences for touring dates.
1) February 20th - March 20th
2) March 25th - April 24th
3) N/A
Anyone that we should/should not forget to invite for political reasons: As above; Corporate leaders generally percieved as being corrupt and/or acting in a manner contrary to the constitution and the greater good of humanity are not welcome, although this is due to local cultural politics, rather than any government dictat. Once again, no individual is to be denied entry on the basis of his or her ethnicity, religion, culture or political beliefs.
Would you like to be on our mailing list: Yes

Additionally, the Party would like to request that, if possible; the 1984 Performance Tour performs in the Alexander Timinsky Memorial Hall (Rhikford-on-Lennox, located in the same state as Fort Wallace) for a few days of its tour. The Party is happy to facilitate the provision of transport and coverage of any extra costs that may arise as a result of this diversion, but also realizes that it may not be fully practical for the Tour to do this. This is non-essential, but preferred. If possible; the Party would like to know when this diversion would be possible, and for how long, so that travel and booking arrangements can be made to that effect.

We have booked you in for 16th of February to the 9th of March for Fort Wallace and 10th to 15th of March for the other place. It did take a bit of doing to convince the tech guys, but if we can transport the sets without disassembling them it should be doable.
