Buying your Virage

By now, we hope we've made a persuasive case about why you should be considering the Virage high speed train for operation in your nation. If you have read through the documentation provided but don't find all your questions answered, please leave a question for our service staff who will respond to you promptly and efficiently.

The Virage train is constructed in the CHSR Manufacturing Works Pty Ltd. manufacturing facility in the city of Vyaneu from domestic and international materials and components. All orders placed will be fulfilled by this manufacturing facility. The current rate of production of the facility is fifty carriages produced per week in full twenty four hour per day operation although this figure is subject to demand. Delivery times will vary, please check your receipt in order to determine the expected time of delivery for your trainset. Additional features or luxury-oriented carriages may increase delivery time.

Customization

Purchasers of the Virage are freely welcome to choose from a variety of cabin classes and specifications in order to customise and personalise their trainset. Although the Virage is an international product, Cestyn designers hope that the train of one nation will be easy to distinguish fom the train of another both in exterior and interior appearance.

The Virage trainset can be configured of varying lengths, either eight cars, twelve cars or sixteen cars. It is important to note that the two lead cars at either end of the train house the turbine and it's systems, therefore no passenger seating is available in these cars. Each length has three power options available to it; those who seek a longer range may be interested in low power set ups while those who seek higher service speeds should look at the higher power modes. Mid-power models offer a blend of endurance and performance.

Each available passenger car can then be customized in order to best suit the nature of the duties that the train will be performing. You may choose to divide the cars into classes, four offers of class are available ranging from economy to premium econony, business to first. Customers may value privacy a little more than others, specialized compartments of business or first class may be fitted in place. Should the train be travelling long overnight journies, comparments can be converted to sleeping compartments which feature foldout beds. If passengers require food, a dining car or snack car can be fitted instead. All this and many more cabin options are available offering a world of luxury limitless opportunity.

Liveries

Each Virage will receive a customized exterior paintwork as specified by the purchaser. Paints are available to be selected from our vast range of paints or can be provided from the buyer.

Warranty, Servicing and Maintenance

Our confidence in the reliability of the Virage is so great that we are supplying a five year, unlimited usage warranty on the trainset excluding passenger compartments. Should a fault or defect occur, the component in question will be replaced free of charge.

All purchasers of the Virage will receive a detailed information regarding the proper maitenance procedures to be undertaken when servicing the Virage. Improper servicing of the trainset and it's components or post-manufacture modifications may void the warranty provided on the train. Correct service procedures not only guarantee the functioning of the train but also the safety of it's occupants. Sections of track where the Virage operates at high speed should also be closely examined.

Truly beautiful work on those models friend, and nice camerawork with sketch-up. But on the "Why Virage Should be Considered" section, the train in the background made it difficult to read but that's really the only place I had trouble. I'm also wondering if armor plating could be added to these because I need these to patrol my border and I feel a few inches of steel may help and if your engines can take Bio-Diesel?

I will pay handsomely for these

The basic layout of the dining is able to be redesigned so as to accommodate a larger kitchen however this will come at the expense of seating ability should your passengers choose to dine within the dining car. Note that private class cabins contain a table therefore meals can be delivered to each suite. Extra large windows, however, are not possible as this would conflict with the structural integrity of the cabin. We do assure you that the windows of the Virage are suitable for sightseeing and landscape views.

OOC: Thanks for your compliments and advice! I do agree that the text on picture makes for clumsy reading thus I'll be looking to change the colour of the text and fade the train a little more to fix it

Light armour plating and plexiglass windows can be added to the exterior panels of the train in place of the aluminium alloy however this will cause the train to weigh more which will detract from performance. The turbine engine is capable of burning anything from biodiesel and ethanol, all types of diesel and right up to high grades of aviation fuel.

Instead of adding extra engine cars to your line up, might we suggest the FQ model which is the fastest Virage available, and extra-capacity fuel tanks in some cars to meet range demands. The FQ series of Virage have over twice the power of the Enduro models and substantially more than the Viggen high speed models. A range extended FQ model is a more practical solution which enables your train to carry more soldiers and equipment

On behalf of the Tippercommon Department of Transportation, the Colonial Heights Transportation Authority, and the Westwood Municipal Transportation Bureau, I would like to offer a contract supplying our nation with the means to create and sustain a nation wide "bullet-train" system. We would like to purchase 400 Enduro-L trains for use by the Hyperion Civil Militia Transportation Bureau. We would like to know of the feasibility of converting the Enduro-L for military use through additional armor plating. We are not requesting that the order be delivered spec'd out for military usage, but we are questioning for our own purposes.

His Majesty's government would like to purchase some of these trains to replace the current ones that we have. They are getting old and need to be replaced, so we will be placing a large order. We hope that they can be delivered with the utmost haste, demand permitting. Also, we would like them in Red and White with the Castle and the Arms of House Carmichael on the sides.
