Originally founded in 1897, Ilgana Automotive actually began as a bicycle manufacturer, headquartered in the city of Eau Claire. Through the first twenty years of it's existence, it employed between ten and twenty workers, who were excellent artists in their own right, creating beautiful bicycles for the rich and famous. Around 1917 though, Richard Ilgana, founder of Ilgana Wheel Works (as it was known at the time), decided to switch from the bicycle industry to the much more profitable automotive industry.
While the early ventures into making an actuall automoblie was met by failure, Ilgana Automotive excelled at making replacement parts, and soon became one of Darmen's largest auto parts suppliers. In 1940 however, Ilgana finally had success in creating an actual automobile, releasing it's first model to the public, the Tiger.
A 1942 Tiger
While the Tiger was immeadiately loved by the Darmeni public, the car was quite expensive, and once again only the rich and famous were able to provide Ilgana Automotive with an income. For thirty-three years, the Tiger was the only automobile produced by Ilgana Automotive. During the late 1960's and early 1970's, the Tiger's sticker price finally dropped to a level that allowed it to be bought by Darmen's rather large middle class. Business boomed, and by 1973 the company employed over 10,000 workers in four factories, two in Eau Claire, one in Scott City, and one in Liverpool.

Despite the fact that the Tiger was still a number one seller the decision was made to end production of the model in 1973. For the next seven years Ilgana Automotive returned to making replacement parts, much to the shargin of the public. In 1980, Ilgana once again entered the market, this time with two new models, the Lion and Nike.

The Lion and the Nike were made specificly with the Working and Middle classes in mind, and were priced well enough for Darmeni families to flock to Ilgana dealerships and become proud Ilgana Auto owners once more. The Nike was much more popular that the Lion, due to the fact that it was able to seat four, rather than the two seats offered in the Lion. The Lion was produced until 1989, while the Nike was still in production until 1992.
After the Duke of Darmen introduced new laws to place all industry under Government control in 1993, Ilgana Automotive officially became apart of Darmen National Industries. Between 1993 and 2012, the workers of Ilgana Automotive produced several models of automobiles, many cheap copies of American cars, like the Ford Mustang, Ford Escape, and Chevy Blazer.
Starting in July of 2012, Ilgana Automotive has once again re-entered the automotive market, and this time on a Multiversal scale. We've begun production once again, this time of our Model One four door sedan, the perfect car for the family.
Started in July of 2012, Ilgana Racing has been one of the premier forces of racing in Darmen. Ilgana Racing currently competes in all five of the Grand Prix Series' offered in the Darmen Grand Prix Tour. Ilgana Racing also opperates a Driving Academy in Eau Claire. Ilgana Racing currently has a partnership with Diamond Star Automotive, racing three of their models in the Grand Prix Series', and VLT Automotive, racing five of their models in the Grand Prix Series'.
- All orders should be done in an In-Charecter Role Play style. All one liners will be ignored.
- Do your own math. I'm lazy.
- Be smart when making your oders. Orders of enormous amounts will likely be ignored, unless I see that your nation is huge and your Government has a large budget. And that's assuming that the order is coming from your Government.
- Please don't ask for any custamization or for me to design custom cars.
- This is my thread, don't try to do anything stupid.
