U-238
U-238 has a variety of uses. In a fission nuclear reactor, U-238 can be used to breed Pu-239, which itself can be used in a nuclear weapon or as a nuclear-reactor fuel supply. Typically 1/3 of the energy in a nuclear reactor comes from Pu-239, which is produced by U-238. U-238 can also be used in downblending, which is the opposite of enriching, it turns highly enriched uranium into low enriched uranium to be commercially used as nuclear fuel. U-238 can also be used as a radiation shield, it is highly effective at absorbing gamma rays and x-rays.

U-235
U-235 is the main component in nuclear energy, theoretically 1 Kilogram of U-235 can produce about 80 terajouls of energy (8x1013 joules). To be used as a weapon it must be highly enriched and must take up 80% of the weapon, however crude and inefficient weapons can accept 20%.

Small Arms

Designation Guide

The Royal Armed Forces of Hedmark has a intricate, yet simple, designation system for firearms. This is to easily organize and identify firearms, but it must be learned first. Here is an example;

AR-7A1-11

Let's break it down.

Weapon Type

First, the type of the weapon must be determined. Use the following table.

TypeDesignationDescription
Anti-Material RifleAMRAn Anti-Material Rifle is a rifle designed for use against military equipment (Materiel) rather than combatants. They are often used as sniper rifles however, and due to the large cartridges they can fire projectiles containing a payload such as explosives. Users of Anti-Material Rifles often operate in 2- or 3-man teams, and often operated in the prone position.
Anti-Tank RifleATRAn Anti-Tank Rifle is a rifle designed to penetrate the armor of vehicles, particularly tanks. Although the usefulness of this type of rifle varies, modern tanks are too thick to be penetrated by most rifle rounds, and a role to destroy equipment can be filled by an Anti-Materiel Rifle. However, against lower technology vehicles the Anti-Tank Rifle can prove useful if cumbersome explosives can't be used.
Assault RifleARAn Assault Rifle fires an intermediate cartridge with a detachable magazine in technical sense. However, they also have a provision to fire from the shoulder (Butt Stock), capability to select fire, fire an intermediate cartridge, utilize a detachable magazine and have an effective range of at least 300 Meters.
Battle RifleBRA Battle Rifle fires a full power rifle cartridge. Battle Rifles are commonly select fire, but they are also often semi-automatic or bolt-action. Most Battle Rifles have an effective range of 400 Meters, but easily reach 600.
CarbineCA Carbine is almost always a shortened version of a full rifle, firing the same ammunition at a lower velocity due to shorter barrel length. Carbines are often issued to high-mobility troops.
Designated Marksman RifleDMRA Designated Marksman Rifle is a rifle used as a middle ground between infantry and snipers. Designated Marksman Rifles are often effective at least up to 500 Meters. They are generally semi-automatic for rapid fire capability, and a magazine of at least 10-rounds.
General Purpose Machine GunGPMGA General Purpose Machine Gun is a class of machine gun that is belt-fed and used in a variety of roles, from bipod- or tripod-mounted infantry support to deployment of vehicles. It can provide fire support for vehicles or infantry from a variety of mounts. Modern General Purpose Machine Guns are air-cooled and fire rifle cartridges.
Heavy Machine GunHMGA Heavy Machine Gun is a larger class of machine gun that usually refers to heavily constructed, bulky machine guns with water cooling mechanisms that can sustain defensive fire with excellent accuracy.
Light Machine GunLMGA Light Machine Gun is a class of machine gun that is designed to be employed by an individual soldier, with or without an assistant as an infantry support weapon. Light Machine Guns are often used as Squad Automatic Weapons. Most Light Machine Guns fire smaller caliber cartridges than their larger, heavier cousins.
Machine PistolMPA Machine Pistol is a handgun-style firearm capable of fully automatic or burst fire that is normally chambered for pistol cartridges.
Medium Machine GunMMGA Medium Machine Gun is a class of machine gun that is belt-fed and fires a full-power rifle cartridge.
Personal Defense WeaponPDWA Personal Defense Weapon is a compact semi-automatic or full-automatic firearm similar to the submachine gun but fires a proprietary or rifle round. This gives the Personal Defense Weapon armor-penetrating capability.
PistolPA Pistol is a handgun with a chamber that is integral with the barrel.
RevolverRA Revolver or six-shooter is a repeating firearm that has a cylinder containing multiple chambers, most often six, and at least one barrel for firing. The Revolver works by the user cocking the hammer, making the cylinder revolve to align the next chamber and round with the hammer and barrel.
ShotgunSA Shotgun, or Scattergun, is a firearm that fires a number of small spherical pellets called shot, or a silid projectile called slug. Shotguns are typically designed to be fired from the shoulder and for close quarters hunting or combat. An advantage of the shotgun is due to the spreading of the shot, the user simply points, instead of aiming at the target.
Sniper RifleSRA Sniper Rifle is a precision-rifle used to ensure accurate placement of bullets at long ranges. A typical sniper rifle often has specialized sights, such as telescopic sights and centerfire cartridges.
Submachine GunSGA Submachine Gun is an automatic carbine, designed to fire pistol cartridges. It combines the automatic fire of a machine gun, with the cartridge of a pistol.

The designation AR fits under Assault Rifle, so we know that the weapon has a detachable box magazine, is capable of full-automatic fire and has an effective range of at least 300 Meters.

Cartridge[/b]

Second, the cartridge of the weapon must be determined. Hedmark uses the metric system, and always uses the first number. We determined that the cartridge is 7mm, but we do not know the exact dimensions. Finding the dimensions is easily done by asking your local arms dealer, or looking at the papers you receive.

Version

Third, the version of the weapon must be determined. Hedmark traditionally uses the A# method, however different models entirely may use different letters to distinguish them. We can determine that the AR-7A1-11 is a first model.

Misc.

After the version, the weapon may have a miscellaneous mark added, such as a letter(s) or number(s), these denote something special about the weapon. Check your papers to make sure, sometimes LE could mean Limited Edition, other times it could mean Lighter Equipment.

Year Of Designing

Fourth, we must determine the year the weapon was designed. Hedmark uses the last two numbers in a year, so we can determine the AR-7A1-11 was made in the year ##11, and if you look at your papers, we can determine 2011.

Assault Rifle

AR-7

Description of AR-7 family
The AR-7 is a selective-fire, gas operated 7.62x45mm assault rifle, developed for the Royal Hedmark Military. It is officially known as the Assault Rifle 7.62mm. The entire family of the Ar 7 is sometimes called arsenic by combining ar and seven. The weapon owes many inspirations from the AK-47, which was recovered after a border skirmish. It is note-able for its durability and ease of use, however manufacturing costs remain average.

When the 7.62x45mm cartridge is fired, it produces significant wounding effects when it tumbles and fragments in tissue, but wounds are relatively minor when it exits the body before beginning to yaw.

The main advantage of the AR-7 rifle is its simple design, and a design even more compact than the AK-47. The AR-7 was based off of the AK-47, as of such it is easy to clean and maintain, with extreme reliability. Due to the arctic conditions, it is designed to be used by glove-wearing troops. Its clearances between moving parts allow it to endure large amounts of foreign objects such as snow without failing to cycle. Initial testing showed that this came at the cost of accuracy, however the increased range of the bullet helped elevate this problem. The average life of an AR-7 rifle is predicted to be 30+ years depending on conditions.

The notched rear tangent iron sight is adjustable, and is calibrated in hundreds of meters. The front sight is adjustable for elevation. Unlike most assault rifles, the fire selector and safety are combined. When the fire selector is on safe, it acts as a dust cover for the charging handle.

The bore and chamber, as well as the gas piston and the interior of the gas cylinder were chromium-plated. This plating dramatically increases the life of the parts by resisting corrosion and wear. The construction of the magazine is very robust with reinforced feed lips, and allows the bolt to close when the magazine is empty.

Carbine

C-7

Description of C-7 Family
The C-7 (Carbine 7.62x45mm) is a carbien designed and manufactured by the Royal Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Hedmark. The C-7 mostly compromises of carbine versions of rifles from the AR-7 family. The C-7 family features shortened barrels to make a middle ground between Assault Rifles and the extremely compact AR-7A2SBP-12. The C-7s have full-length gas pistons, and a solid side-folding stock with lightening cuts. The C-7s are made of a lightweight shock-proof plastic which prevents weather deterioration and rusting. The magazine is also considerably lighter being made from reinforced fiberglass. The Stock also is hollow for weight reduction, and often stores a field kit.

C-5

Description of C-5 Family
The C-5 (Carbine 5.56mm) is a carbine designed and manufactured by the Royal Armed Forces of Hedmark. It has a new gas operating system, much different than the AR-7. It is a proprietary gas system derived from examining rifles used by foreign nations. It utilizes a short-stroke piston driving an operating rod to force the bolt carrier to the rear. This design prevents combustion gases from entering the weapon's interior, a shortcoming with direct impingement systems. The reduction in heat and fouling of the bolt carrier group increases the reliability of the weapon and extends the interval between stoppages. It also reduces operator cleaning time and stress on components.

The C-5 is equipped with a proprietary accessory rail forearm, that has a rail on all four sides. This allows most current accessories to be fitted onto the C-5. The C-5 rail forearm can be installed and removed without tools by using the bolt locking lug as the screwdriver. The rail forearm is "free-floating" and does not touch the barrel, improving accuracy.

The C-5 has an adjustable multi-position telescopig butt stock, offering five different lengths of pull. The shoulder pad can either convex or concave and the stock features storage space for small items.

The C-5's barrel is cold hammer forged, with a expected life of 20,000-rounds and features 6 grooves with a right hand twist. It also includes Over-The-Beach capability, it can be safely fired after being submerged in water and not completely drained.

R.M.S Ammunition Belt
The R.M.S (Royal Military Surplus) sells its own line of ammunition belts. Ammunition belts are a device used to retain and feed cartridges into a firearm. They are typically employed to feed machine guns and other automatic weapons. Belt-fed systems minimize the proportional weight of the ammunition and allow high rates of fire.

The R.M.S Ammunition Belt utilizes disintegrating links, they retain a single round and are articulated with the round ahead of it in the belt. When the round is stripped from the belt and fed into the feed system, the link holding it is ejects and the link holding the following round is dis-articulated. However this is the most common form of ammunition belt.

What sets the R.M.S Ammunition Belt apart from the others, is its size. It is incredibly small, you can store up to three times more R.M.S Ammunition Belts than other, generic ammunition belts! Also it accepts handgun cartridges unlike most if not all ammunition belts!

However, the largest bullet it can hold is 5.56x45mm, larger sizes are "Over-Sized" and thus cost more.

Added Camouflage and Raw Materials. Updates the exchange rate. Orange means it can still be sold, but has a larger chance of denial, but is still very possible.

Dear R.T.S.

We wish to inform you that we wish to obtain 100,000,000 MREs at the price of 5 million Hedmark Kronas. Also your rifles aren't at a "average price" as even the most advance rifles are cheaper.

Unfortunately we had a error in exchanging the prices from the Dollar to Hedmark Krona. The small arms have been effected the worst by this, while others are still fairly priced, mostly however. 100,000,000 M.R.Es would cost a total of 5,000,000,000 Hedmark Krona. However we will discount your price to 4,750,000,000 due to the massive order.

We also ask if your order's delivery can be done in increments, due to its sheer size.

I merely need the full order by next week , before the war starts. I thank you for the discount and offer you a chance to make a ally.

We may or may not be able to fill out your order by the deadline. However due the generous military budget, and simplicity of the item, we will be able to deliver at the very minimum half of your order. Due to no assignment of the product's meal content, we will make them assorted. We will telegram you next week whether your order has been completed or not.

We also ask that we receive payment first due to the massive order.

Have a nice day.

Public Announcement on Royal Military Surplus

Due to the sudden downfall of Hedmark's economy, the Hedmark Krona has also been drastically effected. The exact percentages the Hedmark Krona has fallen in value is currently unknown, but is very high. Prices have been modified to reflect this. This will not affect older or ongoing orders/transactions. But applies to all future orders/transactions. We apologize for the sudden downfall, and the government of Hedmark is working to fix this problem.

Dear Hans Andersen

I have desided that due to your wounded economy and your loyalty to our people that your deserve a contract for 1 million rounds of 5.56x45mm in 30 round magazines. This product will be bought every 2 weeks and the payment will be sent to your account every 2 weeks. In about 20 minutes our brothers will make the same offer.

May he who knows smile upon you , President Seth.

I want .....no demand that you sell me the same products as Seth , at the same price. My econamy is far bigger than his and I deserve the same amount of equipment. In fact....what if I simply bought you out and have you sell our products as well? If the price is too big then Doppio can foot the other half of the balance

We thank you for the extreme generosity. Unfortunately we do not offer 30-round magazines for the 5.56x45mm round, but due to your offer, one shall be developed immediately. This will be our first non-surplus item, and marks a standing achievement in R.M.S. Unfortunately almost overnight the country was downgraded from a strong economy to developing. However the Defense budget remains untouched, so we'll be able to fill out your order every two weeks as assigned.

You are our second order for magazines, we'll speed up the development of the 30-round magazine for 5.56x45mm. R.M.S is a government owned corporation, and doesn't function in the manner that it has stock. However we may open up R.M.S on the stock market in a bid to help our economy.

Due to the economic crash some numbers got mixed up, however we expect them to be at the least 25,000. That is the bare minimum according to our calculations on our stock.

We have designed a 30-round magazine for the 5.56x45mm round. They are being sold for 100 Hedmark Krona, or about $29.41 per magazine. They come fully loaded with 5.56x45mm ammunition. We are also granting a 5% discount due to your extreme generosity. The price would now be $27.93.
