Fail-safes-

We have taken great care to make sure no drone goes rouge or abuses the power of its learning capability. So, due to concerns, we have added this fail-safe section to make you aware of our precautions and hopefully dissolve any doubts you may have had about AI use.

The drones AI was made sure that it could do little with its learning capability just to make sure that one didn't go rouge. One implemented, was that it could only sense patterns in an enemies fighting style. (Ex: If it was being hit from the same location, it would soon catch on and begin firing there until the enemies ceased the attacks.) It would also alert other drones nearby of this problem through wireless binary code (Sort of like drone telepathy) and all would begin to gang up. Drones will not fire upon anything or anyone unless put into battle mode. (This is a code you put in the drones control system via a program that will allow them to use their weapons) Beware; battle mode will automatically activate if they take damage from a firearm; All nearby drones will go on alert status and will judge force of impact, size, and velocity of the bullet-or other-then begin to go on a search and destroy for the attacker. For your safety, this feature can also be turned off through a code given to you. If the AI seems to be learning too much and uses up all available memory banks, the next time another file is tried to fit into one, it will instead overload and fry the mainframe, destroying the AI. All battle memory can be wiped clean through another code which will prevent this from happening accidentally. If all else fails, drones can be put into a self-destruct mode through yet another code, sending all drones running under a certain program (All of the drones bought by you will be issued to respond to a code you set) into an irreversible self-destruct countdown.

History-
The Gunner Drone was first introduced following the Great Invasion. Many soldiers were lost due to relentless attacks from the invaders and died needlessly in the pestilence of friendly fire. When the Northern Highland government saw this needed to stop, billions of Ark Threads (The currency) were poured into the development of Automated Robotic Killers; This was the start of ARK Tech. Within months they had constructed a prototype. It used a computer with hundreds of storage ports that it could use to access extra RAM for more memory; It could learn by itself; It was an artificial intelligence or AI. Of course, they took great measures to limit what this prototype could do with its memory banks-They couldn't allow one to go rouge (See 'Fail-safes'). The first prototypes could only do the basics which were: Walk, use a gun, and recognize the enemy. They were deployed to help fend off a zombie infestation in Polomosia. As expected, they failed miserably; Almost all were destroyed in the first few hours and the remaining ten fell soon afterword. When news reached ARK Tech of their failure, they were furious because of the design failing but, this being expected, had a backup design. This is the modern Gunner Drone we have on the market today. Ten-thousand of these were donated to Polomosia to compensate for their feeble attempt at liberating the nation the first time. These however, worked wonderfully and dismembered a legion of zed that were about to overrun a key city.

Armament-
The Gunners armaments include a belt fed machine gun capable of firing 20mm rounds at a rate of 5 rounds per second. They are kept tight wound into a storage compartment on a back unit capable of holding 1,000 rounds. The MG is built directly onto its arm allowing for very accurate shots. About 1/5 of the rounds are tracers. The other kind of weapon-also built onto its arm-
is a grenade cannon made specifically for the drones. The ARK 46/T is meant for rapid firing grenade rounds at a rate of 2 per second at the enemy. Normally, this kind of recoil and unsure decisions would keep a human from being able to use this weapon appropriately. The drones, however, have no need for such concerns; Recoil in their arms will not effect any other part of their bodies and the Automated Electronic Battle Program (AEBP) keeps them in the know of where exactly their shots will land. This, combined with the 43mm grenades of the cannon and its rapid fire action, lets them rain down constant fire at the enemy, be that to provide cover or to kill. The grenades are fitted into a barrel at the elbow that can hold 15 rounds. (Plus the one already loaded into the cannon making 16 shots total)

Armor-
The Gunners armor is made from the new woven metal alloys, 3cm thick in the breastplate. When a bullet or other firearm hits this, the thread-like metals turn back flexible and can bend inward to absorb the shock. Depending on the force that the armor is hit with, some of the armor may fray, but the Gunner is still working and is far from incapacitated. Normal humans may suffer from organs rupturing due to a more forceful blow even with bulletproof armor on, but drones-seeing as they don't have organs-continue battling without any harm done.

Power-plant-
A Quad-Cell Lithium Ion Battery is fitted inside the Gunner's body. (NOTE: The big glowing circle in the chest is NOT the power supply nor a weak point. It practically screams "Hit me and I'll die!" For that reason it is actually more heavily armored than the rest of the body in hopes of attracting fire.) It is deep within the armor plating and has very little chance of being damaged even with sustained fire. It holds it's charge for around ten hours, then must be recharged again. It has boosters implanted in the shoulders that consume fuel that can be loaded into a small compartment. The boosters do allow for quicker movement but at a more rapid energy consumption rate. For your convenience, the battery can be charged through solar panels implanted in the back and tops of the shoulders. Recharge rate for solar power is around 20hrs and through an actual recharge station is approx. 15hrs.(Keep in mind that this is for a full charge; Drone activity can be resumed after only a 5hr charge.)

History-
After their second attempt at the Gunner was successful, the Northern Highland government ordered ARK Tech to build advanced and specialized variants of the Gunner. Their first successful drone was named the Assault Drone after its precedent. This form was supposed to be a more powerful version of the standard Gunner and indeed it was. The MG on the first was replaced with the more powerful and mini gun-like Vulcan Cannon. As well as the upgrade to a ARK 50/T Grenade Cannon. It is better in all aspects than the Gunner, (If you count being bigger as an advantage) but better comes at a bigger price. Paying extra for this new form, the Northern Highland government saw it perfect for raiding entire camps at night; Easily disposing of any who tried to escape with the rapid fire Vulcan Cannon.

Armament-
The Assault Drone is armed with the more powerful ARK 50/T Grenade Cannon. This type fires the same 16 maximum shots but with 50mm grenades at the rate of 2 rounds per second as the old 47/T but with more punch. The second upgrade the Gunner received to get to the Assault form was the Vulcan Cannon. This bad boy is more like a mini gun; It can get 70 rounds off and at the enemy in a second. The increased fire rate of course meant a bigger body to store the ammo in, so they installed a bigger ammo bay in the lower back that can hold 2,500 rounds. This also increases its weight. About every 1/10 rounds is a tracer.

Armor-
The Assault Drone's armor has really been upgraded. Still made from the same woven metal alloys, this kind has rubber added to it to increase the chance that a shot will successfully rebound of the now 4.5cm thick armor plating.

Power Plant-
The new Honeycomb-Cell Lithium Ion battery has been implanted deep within the armor. This kind has 6 separate cells shaped like hexagons arranged in a honeycomb pattern-thus the name. The middle of this is filled with the electrolyte and will give the Assault Drone an impressive 15hrs of run-time before dying. This variant also features more powerful boosters and bigger solar recharge cells. It takes around 27hrs to charge through solar power and 20hrs under the proper recharge station. Like before, they can still function with a minimal charge if they are urgently needed.

History-
The Stinger Drone was introduced to the Northern Highlands government shortly after the Assault Drone made its appearance. They had been able to construct an Anti-Air version of the Gunner and named it Stinger. (Whether or not the name came from the anti-air STING missiles is unknown) There are many of these lined in guard stations in the HQ. Very trusted, they are the guard of choice for generals everywhere.

Armament-
The Stinger Drone has a very unique firing system that allows for anti-air strikes to be ordered upon the enemy, but the system can also be switched to preform anti-armor attacks. The ARK-GAGG (Ground to Air or Ground to Ground) Pod Rockets specifically designed for this type, fire off the launcher and pursue targets with its heat-seeking abilities to effectively bring down an air strike, however, when attacking a ground enemy the missiles loose this ability and work more like an anti-tank rocket. The ARK-GAGG missiles are considerably light due to light metal alloys like titanium that go into their construction. Five missiles are fit into the back of the launcher itself. The low ammunition makes reloading a constant but it can be done fast and efficiently and ammunition comes relativity cheap. On top of this it has the Assault Drone's ARK 50/T Grenade Cannon.

Armor-
This type has little armor thickness at 2cm and prefers to stay back from the fight, delivering their payload from behind the lines. Due to the low armor, it is advised that they stay out of the active fight and should be used as guards instead. The armor still provides protection for vital parts of the drone, and its sacrifice makes it one of the fastest.

Power Plant-
The battery of the Stinger Drone is the same as the Assault variants but this time, due to the loss of much of its weight in armor, it has gained the ability hover using it's boosters. This also makes it extremely quick and get's it where it needs to go. The boosters on the back have also been enlarged to hold more fuel; speed, being a primary advantage, and, in turn, the solar panels on the back are now larger too. 25hrs to recharge under solar power, and 17hrs with the station.

History-
This advanced form of the Gunner was made for silenced recon patrols of enemy encampments and for battle support from behind the lines. When building this model, ARK Tech had terrorist outposts in mind, but it can easily be used in straight up warfare as well. Taking off all of the arm's weapons once again, it now features its devastating long range silenced grenade launcher and every snipers favorite, the sniper rifle. The sniper abilities give it great stealth and speed when combating terrorist encampments at the borders of Arkon Corporation. This is a tried and true weapon that can guarantee the kills without getting caught.

Armament-
The weapons that it lost becoming this very advanced form are compensated by the addition of the new REV (Railgun Enhanced Variant) Sniper Rifle, which fires a magnetically charged bullet down an alternating electromagnetic barrel. The result is unmatched speed, armor-crushing power, and a kill range unlike any other. The second new addition is the silenced grenade launcher. This unique weapon had scientists at ARK Tech working day and night for 23 days to complete. It comes out of the barrel with a silencer, eliminating all flash and sound, then when it has arrived at the target. It explodes by mixing chemicals together. The chemical explosion is very quiet and will douse the enemy in unbearable heat and set chemical fire, which is invisible to the naked eye making locating the fire nigh impossible, to everything around it for a 7.5 meter radius. The REV Railgun has 25 rounds ready to be shot at the enemy, with 4 more clips attached the the side. The silenced grenade launcher has 5 grenades in a barrel at the elbow. You may be pleased to know this ammunition has been released to sell commercially to other nations because of its high demand, so you may purchase it elsewhere. The are passive abilities it possesses as well. One of these is a telescoping vision screen, to emulate the scope on a sniper rifle. The vision screen can see much farther than a scope however, to accompany the ludicrous range on the REV Sniper Rifle. Another very impressive ability it possesses is stealth, making it completely invisible to enemy radar. The last it has attained is a jamming signal it can release to block all communication between radios of the enemies' frequency.

Armor-
Admittedly, this version has the least armor at a mere 1cm thick. (Although still much thicker where the battery is, for protection) This sacrifice is not in vain, as the Sniper Drone has the greatest speed and can also hover, almost fly even, to to the light weight. However, being a Sniper, it should not be in a position to take much enemy fire.

Power Plant-
The huge Octagon-Cell Battery it has gives this drone the most 'kick'. Able to jump high and reach even higher speeds. It can float faster and longer than the Stinger Drone. Also able to stay active out on the field longer than any other drone without a recharge. The solar panels have been significantly enlarged as well. A proper recharge takes around 25hrs and with the solar power 36hrs.

History-
The behemoth of the Gunner Series. When you wanted to stop something dead in its tracks, you needed the Launcher Drone. That's exactly what this version was designed to do. They were airdropped at the Titan colony in the Imperial Mountains after they rebelled and took control of the Lambda Heavy Arms plant. After it was all over, Titan colony was wiped off the map and Lambda Heavy Arms had to undergo a year of repairs due to the sheer amount of collateral damage done. These aren't going to be useful in a police force, as the may hit citizens, but should get the job done when pitted against the enemy on the battlefield.

Armament-
The Launcher Drone has the biggest array of weapons in the Gunner Series. The primary are two ARK Grade missile launchers on each arm. They can fire their cargo a full mile at the target, raining down explosive rockets at the target. As you may have expected, they can also be used as an AA weapon using their lock-on sight in the vision screen to identify enemies and use the fire-and-forget system to eliminate any aerial opposition to your troops. The missiles detonate upon impact with their target and are fire-proof; will not detonate to heat, to avoid complications with its secondary weapons: 4 HE/145 Flamethrowers. These bad boys are mounted in pairs directly underneath the missile launchers. They incinerate enemies that are even 60m away. The missiles are large and as a result, only 5 can be loaded into each arm at any time. Like with the Stinger Drone , reloading is relativity simple. The flamethrowers have enough fuel to fire continually for 3 minuets. However, to avoid overheating the power supply, the maximum recommended firing time is 20s. One final offensive capability was at first not expected: The large missile launching arms were used by the drones like battering rams. The were crushing enemy infantry that got to close and even through heavy vehicular weapons, such as tanks and combat SUVs, a good 40 feet. They were deemed incapacitated as soon as they were hit. This makes the Launcher Drone an expert at long-range and close-quarters combat environments.

Armor-
The Launcher Drone's armor is 7cm of woven Chromium Carbon-Fibers, one of the strongest alloys ARK Tech has available. Small and medium firearms simply bounce off the reinforced armor. Even tank shells can be deflected at certain angels. This armor has become ARK Tech's standard.

Power Plant-
The Octagon-Cell Battery also fits the Launcher Drone. The massive amount of power it can supply gives the Sniper a great boost, but for the Launcher, all this power is barely enough to keep the Launcher Drone's Heavily armored body moving. The sacrifice of its speed is made up with the potency of its attacks and armor. The Drone does feature relativity large solar panels on the back. Unfortunately, the massive amount of energy it consumes makes them almost useless, and the boosters hardly make a difference to it's speed. Although it should be able to combat the enemy regardless of speed, having short, medium, and long-range attacks.

When ARK Tech had produced a significant amount of Gunner variants. They were granted freedom from the Northern Highland government and were allowed to operate as an independent weapons contractor. They already had their Gunner/variants on the market but needed to produce new weapons. Their first project was the Tank Drone along with 7 different forms to accompany it. They were named with a letter respectively (ie: Type A, Type B, Type C, etc.) They now all fall under the category and take the name "Tank Drone" There are many different kinds of Tank Drones to respond to any threat. We won't go into any detail here though. View their individual profiles to see what they are capable of.

Every Tank Drone comes equipped with a Mini Core Reactor, or MiCRo. MiCRo produces a sufficient amount of nuclear fission to power the Tank Drones. Some Drones can move faster than others though, because of the amount of armor and weaponry they carry.

Armament-
Type A's armament is most like a tank. Duel, 50mm Tank Cannons are on each arm. During tests it was found that they could blow through 8cm of today's standard tank armor. 10 shells are ready in the loading bay for each arm, giving it 20 shots total. This kind is recommended for all-around use.

Armor-
All the Tank Drones armor is the same Chromium Carbon-Fibers that the Launcher Drone uses. Some kinds, however, have different thickness. Type A's armor is 3cm thick in the least covered areas. Tank Shells could easily destroy one and 2 Anti-Tank rockets would incapacitate, but conventional firearms wouldn't phase it.
