Overview
New Island International Airport (Bahasa Indonesia: Bandar Udara Internasional Pulau Baru; Bahasa Melayu: Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Pulau Bharu) is the main airport serving New Island, a Self Governing Territory of Rhodeland, 427 miles off the mainland.

New Island International Airport was built in 2005 and finished in 2008, with the maximum capacity of 25,000,000 passengers annually. The airport itself has 3 wings (West Wing, North Wing, East Wing) and 60 gates. 10 of the 60 gates are able to handle Airbus A380.

New Island International Airport is built as a Green Airport. The whole airport complex is powered by solar panel and wind power plants, and the water is recycled. The architecture of the airport itself reduces the use of lamp during the day.

Facilities
Indulgence Food Mall

Indulgence Food Mall is New Island International Airport's food court which opens around the clock. Hungry passengers may just flock to the food mall to enjoy many foods, from traditional cuisine to western cuisine.

The New Island Bar

The New Island Bar is the best place to hang out in New Island International Airport. Here, passengers may enjoy beer, vodka, liquor and many more. The interior is designed as cozy as possible to make the passengers happy and relax.

AirPool

AirPool is a rooftop swimming pool, where passengers may swim and watch the aircraft activity.

Jungle Walk

If passengers want to enjoy the natural rainforest but only have a little time to do so, just flock to the Jungle Walk.

Observation Deck

New Island International Airport is commited to cater everyone's need, including aviation enthusiast. Therefore, a nice observation deck has been made and is free of charge.

Peacock Lounge

Peacock Lounge is the pay-per-use lounge of New Island International Airport. Here, passengers may have free flow drink, food, wireless internet and many more. The lounge may also be used by airlines or banks for their customer.

WiFi

WiFi is available everywhere inside this airport without any charge. Passengers may use the wifi to browse the internet, chat with friends, or even playing online games.

Integrated Self Check In

With the Integrated Self Check In machine, one machine can handle more airlines rather than the normal one airline per machine. The utilization of Integrated Self Check In will significantly reduce the electricity used to power the machine.

Internet Kiosk

If passengers want to use internet while waiting for boarding, they can use the free internet kiosk available at every gate.

Shuttle Bus

Shuttle buses are available to transport passengers to several zones of New Island with just a little fee, ranging from R$2 to R$10.

Airport Express

Airport Express is the express train operating between Terminal Sentral Pulau Bharu and New Island International Airport. The fare is R$ 25 for adult and R$ 12.5 for child. The journey by Airport Express takes 23 minutes.

SkyTrain

Passengers who don't want to walk to the north wing may use the SkyTrain with no charge at all. The journey takes 4 minutes and 17 seconds, while the maximum waiting time is 3 minutes.

Your Hammer-class Heavy Aerial Corvette has been granted take off and landing right at New Island International Airport. However, please be noticed that for safety reason, as your Hammer-class Heavy Aerial Corvette will do VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) on your own landing pad, the landing pad will not be located near the gate or the runway as it may hazard the safety of other airplanes.

Regarding to your request to set up your own lounge, New Island International Airport has agreed to entitle you a lot near Gate W01 for The Golden Apple Lounge.

Regarding to your request to install hydrogen refueling equipment, New Island International Airport has allowed you to install such equipment at Gate W01 and Gate W02.

To Director Lisa Doravia:

We thank you for accomodating our needs to the best of the abilities of yourself and your staff. As we will not be permitted to land at the terminal itself, we propose two methods of alleviating logistical complications.

The first approach is to imitate conventional non-VTOL aircraft by "landing" on the runway and "taxi-ing" at a height of no more than 1.5 meters above the ground to either of our designated gates. This should prevent the inherent safety issues of the normally irregular flight paths our Hammer-class transports generally take.

The second approach is for our aircraft to land normally and for shuttle buses (powered by hydrogen combustion) to ferry passengers between the gate and landing pad.

We hope that these proposals will be accepted, so that complications arising from our comparatively abnormal take-off and landing procedures may be minimal.

We look forward to doing business with you.

Very well. At the distance from Tsheremevko to New Island, the long range of the 777-200LR will not be needed, however the passenger capacity of the 777-300ER will be. This will be the aircraft used to fly to New Island.
