The Maconnais Company has developed into one of the world's largest and most complete travel provider, operating everything form car hire to airlines, Hotels to holiday villages, and just about everything in-between.
The Group is based out of our St Andrews headquarters, and is owned 51% by the Maconnais Family and 49% Global Industries Corporation.
Hotel Division
In 1989, the holiday industry in the Imperial Empire began to boom, but there was very few options for the budget minded tourists, so we made a choice, expand into this new market, and revolutionize it, all rooms in ever hotel at ever time, including a full breakfast are NS$50, the core principle - good quality great price, and with our newest room design, there is no scrimping on style and comfort.
Available in Double or Twin forms the 'PurplePod' style rooms are spacious, and feature satellite television, small settee, spacious bathroom and a large bed.

In 1926, a young French-born motor car entrepreneur named Iago Maconnais inherited a large parcel of land in what was to become the beating heart of St Andrews. With money in his pocket and an idea in his mind, he spent five years building the original Maconnais hotel on George Street. Overnight, it became a global phenomenon, The place to stay, not just in Jungastia, but the world. Its staff were largely from the Royal Household, and the guests were pampered beyond their wildest dreams, throughout it's years George Street has hosted Kings, Presidents and celebrities, it has played host to five royal weddings and remains to this day the byword in luxury.
The 1950s brought change, the now fifty year old Iago hung up his Keys, and stepped aside to allow his son Jaque to take over. Jaque expanded the brand into the large national company it is today, specialising in luxury hotels across continents and nations.

Every location features a local restaurant, often run my one of the top local chefs. All of our restaurants on site are of at least 2 Foehn Stars, as well as our leading restaurants, we are able, where appropriate, to offer a cocktail lounge.

All IAGO hotels operate with the following room types
IAGO Standard
IAGO Standard Rooms consist of a spacious open-concept room with wither King Twin Beds and a lounge/living room. The modern bathroom has a heated bathroom floor with a bathtub and separate walk-in shower. Each room offers the latest in room amenities including satellite TV and dual phone lines. The rooms also feature a work desk, speakerphone, and a separate modem connection. Additional amenities include soft duvet covers, a hair dryer, bathrobes and a refreshment center as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
IAGO Family
Designed with families very much in mind, IAGO Family Rooms offer two bedrooms sharing a bathroom and Spacious living room. These suites are decorated in elegant Edwardian style. Each IAGO Family feature a writing desk, Luxurious Sofas, personal bar, Loewe flat-screen television, Meridian iPod docking station and bespoke furnishings. The well-appointed marble bathrooms all feature separate walk-in showers with a rain showerhead, large chrome fittings and Miller Harris amenities.
IAGO Junior
The large open-plan IAGO Junior Rooms are brand new at The Savoy with distinct sitting and bedroom areas in addition to a walk-in closet and dressing area. The suites are decorated in Art Deco style with king-size beds and garden views. The suites feature a writing desk, sofa, armchair, personal bar, Loewe 40” flat-screen television, DVD player, Meridian iPod docking station and bespoke furnishings. The well-appointed marble bathrooms all feature separate walk-in showers with a rain showerhead, claw foot baths, large chrome fittings and Miller Harris amenities.
IAGO Deluxe
IAGO Deluxe are Two Bedroom Suites and are decorated in Art Deco style with an impressive master bedroom suite, separate sitting room, second bedroom suite, entrance foyer and guest cloakroom. The IAGO Deluxe offer a king-size bed in the master bedroom and either a king-size or twinned beds in the second bedroom. These suites feature a writing desk, sofa, two armchairs, personal bar, Loewe flat-screen television, DVD player, Meridian iPod docking station and bespoke furnishings. The well-appointed marble bathrooms each feature a freestanding, claw foot bath, separate walk-in showers with a rain showerhead, large chrome fittings and Miller Harris amenities.
IAGO Royal
The IAGO Royal Suite is one of the worlds finest and most well-appointed accommodations. Spread over an entire floor, the elegant proportions and stately procession of rooms complement the sumptuous furnishings and beautiful artwork of the Edwardian interior to create a Suite that is literally fit for a king. Guests enter through a marble foyer, off which opens a beautiful wood-panelled office with stylish office equipment. Guests then proceed through to a pair comfortable sitting rooms and a separate dining room that seats up to 12 people and has a light, airy interior influenced by Jungastian formal gardens. The master bedroom is positioned adjacent to a large, walk-in dressing room with cedar-lined wardrobes & a spacious, ensuite, his & hers bathroom with a deep, soaking bath and a steam shower.
The suite also includes a service kitchen – ideal for those travelling with a personal chef. For those travelling without staff, a IAGO butler is on hand 24 hours a day exclusively for guests staying in a IAGO Royal. Combining the skills of a traditional private butler with the efficiency and knowledge of a 21st century personal assistant, the IAGO butler will ensure seamless, dedicated, personalised service. The latest in entertainment technology is provided by a bespoke multi-room media system.
The suite has two further Bedroom Suites, with ensuite bathrooms and small connected sitting rooms
