The Imperial Forces of Tristaniano is a militaristic nation. The whole nation's male population is the army if necessary, though the main fighting force is highly trained and highly funded by the Imperial Director. Every expense is paid for the military and only the best of the best of Tristanians are allowed to be in it. Its a great honor to be a officer in the military, and only the most skilled and well rounded of soldiers become officers through military exploits only, not through other means.

And what is your wartime experience?

I have participated in some military threads. In real life I study military strategy and politics so...there is some war time experience.

Just making sure everyone knows im no longer interested in the position of Minister of War.

Link your best examples of RPs for the council. If you are going to be Minister of War you should be able to RP well.

In terms of "minister of war", I've got lots and lots of ideass regarding how the new legions ought to be structured, how they ought to be equipped and how they're going to fight. I have a lot of RP experience, however not nescessarily war. However, thi is not a real disadvantage. Previous experience has taught us that this position is really rather limited: it is the minister of war's job to look after the men, yes, but other than that all he really does is say "yes, okay, you can use the UPA in *insert war name here*, how many men would you like?"

I vote that I be allowed to assume the position temporarily, at least untill my army model has been put into practice. Then, I'll happily resign.

You are quite right, being the Minister of War is more of an organizational job than an actual fighting job. The MoW sees that each member makes their mandatory troop donation and then organizes them into one single fighting force.

Anyways, until a suitable candidate is found Bokaya is acting as MoW.

Minister for War should be Minister for Defence.

Members of the Pact can be appointed to several postions if I like. I just choose to appoint diffrent members to diffrent seats beaucse it makes organizing the work easier.

Ah, fair enough. It's just that Council's vote on things, which makes it more democratic if there's more people in the Council, representing more views.

Not exactly, members are appointed to run semi autonomous sections of the administration, because for me to run the entire pact by myself would be extremely difficult. While they can offer their advice only I, or the Deputy should I be absent, have the final say. There is no voting, voting is contradictory to our principles.

Hmm... a couple of things on there are questionable, but there you go. National sovereignty and all that jazz.

Anyway, I've been hard at work euipping and training the new UPA. We of Bokaya are happy to announce the first full battalion of the UPA! Two infantry platoons, a command section, an artillery contingent and a tank contingent! Here it is for you to peruse at your leisure. Please note that, at the end of the day, I didn't in fact equip them along the same lines as my common army, but my elite Republican Guard. This means that the weapons and gear they use will be reasonably modern, giving us a fair chance against pretty much any opponent.
As with most Bokayan equipment, the weapons are based on RL designs with a few IC differences. It's the same with the vehicles.
