Resurrection [GotM Closed RP]

Postby Agua Incendia » Thu Sep 23, 2010 7:58 pm

Resurrection

For full story you must have RP'd in the other GotM threads, read them if you absolutely have to. The simplest way of putting it Logandi is attempting to resurrect a loved one and restore himself to his former state.

Logandi, a god of flames and water found his species, the Agua Incendians, taken over by Xenomorphs1. He himself fell to the Xenomorphs and was taken over by their Goddesses power. subdued to the corner of his corrupted conscious Logandi believed himself lost until a word, more specifically a name, this name was Ishuri.

As a god he found Ishuri to be the most beautiful feian2 he had ever seen. Disguising himself as a mortal Logandi courted the queen until she lovingly accepted him as her king. before Logandi had the chance to reveal him self as a god and offer her the position of Goddess she was killed, killed by a species known as the Homo-Sapiens. Outraged by the assassination of his beloved Queen Logandi destroyed every bit of evidence that the two humans had ever existed. down to an anatomical scale. The brutal fashion in which Logandi disposed of the two scared many including himself. Logandi hid himself away absorbing himself in destroying inanimate matter and mastering the art of the twin blades. He absorbed himself in fighting so much that he force the fact that Ishuri was dead out of his mind. it was the only way he could find to cope with the grief that her name now brought him until...

Logandi met a group of gods searching for artifacts. One of the gods name was Nigel who was accompanied every where by a dragon named Spiridon. In the company of these gods Logandi recovered his ability to feel emotions and his thoughts drifted to Ishuri when he was fighting for his life. before Logandi had a chance to act on these recovering thoughts he was attacked and overtaken by the Xenomorph queen. He was lost in her mind when he heard Ishuri's name, spoken by Nigel, the name filled him with energy and pain he pushed his way back into his mind to find that he was currently stabbing Nigel with his swords but that wasn't the only thing wrong he also had a body now horribly disfigured by the Xenomorph's influence on his body. In this moment of shock the queen of the Xenomorph attacked Logandi's consciousness and managed to wipe his memory of everything she could. Their were only two memories she couldn't fully destroy one was Logandi's knowledge of the Twin Blade and one was Logandi's memory of Ishuri. Logandi could remember this but no more. He passed out after his struggle with the Queen and woke to find himself surrounded by strangers, regarding them as a stranger would he left in search of something far more important...

OOC: excellent

Logandi wandered he had no real knowledge on how to resurrect her but he felt that there was a way and he should know. He was currently wandering through the ruins of a moon orbiting Jupiter, once inhabited by humans but now frozen stiff. On this planet Logandi had observed the goings on at earth many times, it was here that he had taken Ishuri when he convinced her to be his queen. perhaps similar to the humans proposal but then again not as similar as you would think. He was pacing and every step was making him angrier...

Nigel and Spiridon Watched at a safe distance away, Nigel sighed, His Breath Freezing in the air.
Sipiridon Moved closer to Nigel, Allowing the field of warmth that surrounded him to envelop Nigel

"What's the Plan?" Spiridon Asked
"First We check A Few Things" Nigel Pulled a Distress flare Gun From his Pocket and Fired the white Beacon into the sky "Lets see If He Knows Who we are, You know what gods can be like"
Spiridon Nodded

The flare winking through the black sky caught Logandi's attention. Either friend or foe he was unsure but he didn't need to be he had only one friend and she was dead. He would focus on bringing her back as soon as the signal was dealt with. following the smoke trail with his eyes Logandi Located and teleported to the origin of the flare. To his surprise it was a Dragon rider. Swords drawn Logandi asked "Why are you here?" Not warily but demandingly...

OOC: welcome newcomer

A boy, looking no more than 18, rode slowly along through the night on his horse. A beautiful axe was lashed to one side of the horse and seemed to be no burden to the strong beast whatsoever. It was getting colder and the boy wrapped the cloaks of fox fur around him. His horse snorted.

"Ahhh you can't be that cold. You've got me on top of you." the boy said. The horse snorted again and stomped his hoove defiantly. "You always do this Seven. Can't make you too warm, can't let you get too cold." The horse neighed as the boy dropped off to one side of the horse and unfurled the bear hide. I suppose it is cold out here, the boy thought to himself.

He retightened the saddle and pulled himself back up into it. He carefully checked his right saddlebag, the box was still there. It had become routine, he knew the box wouldn't move on it's own. Never can be too sure.

As they plodded along the trail they noticed an eerie silence growing around them as if they were being sucked into a darkness and emptiness which broke across the whole world and focused on this forest. The boy was contemplating the best way to keep from getting too cold, whether to think of naked beer wenches or naked farmer's daughters, when his mind suddenly went blank. An emptiness had descended up him and his stallion and he knew neither up nor down, left nor right, nor the passage of time. He felt as if he had been stuck in perpetuity but his mind kind going and he felt his companion moving along underneath him. Yet still, something was off.

Then, a flare went up into the sky, blazing white. The boy and his horse stood there watching the flare rise high, higher than any flare he had ever seen. "Should we follow it old friend?"

The horse shook his head side to side.

"That's what you said about going into Fesston then you met that nice little phillie." The boy said patting the horse's flank. "We're going, I like my odds on this one."

They picked their way through the brush towards the - finally - falling light. The boy began to notice the trees thinning out. He got off the horse, he didn't know why but felt that he would be more lucky if he did, and walked beside it. The stallion began to walk slower as they the clearing came into sight.

"Move it!" he commandingly whispered into the horse's ear.

They crested a hill and stood there as statues. In front of them was a dragon and two people. The boy, not known for being discreet, gasped then quickly stepped back, snapping a twig. His horse neighed a little. So much for the sneaking, the boy thought to himself. His breathe caught in his throat as the Dragon quickly snapped it's head in their direction.

"Shit!" Adam yelled as a bullet scraped his arm. He quickly hid behind a wall and drew his pistol. "Give it up, #25! You're trapped! Give back the TMD and surrender!" One of the men yelled, firing another shot to intimidate Adam. "Forget it" Adam said, tough his thoughts were quite the opposite. He looked at the device strapped around his arm, the TMD. He tinkered with it, hoping he could somehow use it to get out of this mess. He managed to activate something that sent a surge through his body, a loud scream escaping his body. The two men were hesitant, fearing Adam had somehow transformed into a horrible abomination. When they came to check on him, they found nothing.

Adam appeared at a strange place, his body materializing in a white flash. As he looked around he saw a dragon, two people and...something. He approached them carefully and faced the two people first. "Hello...sorry to be bothering you but...where am I?"

The boy dared not move too much. He was surprised at how quickly things were happening. Usually his notions of luck were spot on. But now, there was a dragon, two humans and...something, he thought to himself.

Then the human with the dragon waved at him. The boy still wasn't close enough to hear anything but he did see that the man's mouth was moving. The dragon, however, casually moved his head to look at him and at the other human who had appeared, literally, out of thin air.

The...thing...in the clearing was clearly agitated. He could hear the hiss coming from it.

Slowly the boy un latched the leather straps holding his battle axe onto Seven. This was why I knew I should dismount, he congratulated himself. He slowly undid all of the straps and surreptiously moved the axe so that he could lean on it, the head down. He wanted to look nonchalant...somehow he knew the dragon did not think so of him.

"What's that supposed to prove? Oooooooh, you put together a fancy slideshow. I'm not stupid you humans are all the same, you think you're smarter than anyone in your presence, but thats not true hear and probably almost never is." Logandi was obviously mad at the fact that a human was near him and that a human was trying to help him. in his mind this was some far fetched plan that was an attempt to get him to get him off guard.

Suddenly, a poorly adorned girl stepped forward. A rather large(almost too large in fact) brown dress clung to her like a loose rag and an apron was slung across her front. Her strawberry-blonde hair was suprisingly clean compared to her disheveled clothing and her green eyes flashed richly in contrast with her humble appearance. "Pardon me, gentlemen," she muttered charmingly, "I do find your disputes rather childish... I do not seek to slight you, merely achieve some semblance of peace." She curtsied slightly as a servant would, though a certain graced pervaded the gesture. Erika wondered briefly if they would recognise her new guise. It would prove rather affective in Dogyillus's world certainly, but here...

"Indeed, dear Logandi," Erika began, "I have never known Nigel to speak falsehoods, nor attempt to otherwise slight you. Thus it would be most fair, and indeed wise, to assume his words are true and of sweet intent." She nodded as she articulated the words and considered trading guises to pacify the outraged god, before deciding against it. She would not permit him to act in such a grossly arrogant manner.

"Whom, I implore you to tell me?" Erika asked softly, "and by what manner, if it vexes no extravagance of pain?" If the gods had meddled again, Erika would endeavour to offer justice. It had happened before, and she was rather used to it. However, she became aware of the other company amongst them. "Good day, Logandi," she greeted him with a curtsy and a smile, "My heart sings to speak with you once again. Do you recall our brief discussions?" Then, her attention lingered on the mortal for a short while. "Charmed," she stated as she offered him a curtsy, "I am Erika Rosencruz, The Celestial Gardener. I am rather pleased to make your acquaintance. A lovely steed..."
