We are an international alliance, a group of nations tied by their common ideology the ideology of Social Democracy. We do what we must to bring about an egalitarian, free society without intimidation or dictatorship. We look down upon the capitalistic nations for corruption, as well as dictatorships for the same reasons. For these reasons, we do not allow Maoists, Juche, or Stalinists.

We shall only accept constitutional, democratic republics with a commitment to socialism and egalitarianism (e. g., Left Wing Utopia, Civil Rights Lovefest, Scandinavian Liberal Paradise, Liberal Democratic Socialists...)

Constitution of the Pact of the Rose:
1. Every member has veto power and voting power over all decisions.
2. The Pact of the Rose is a military alliance. In case one of us is attacked, the rest of us must assist that nation.
3. Decisions are proposed by a Council composed of the Founder and several nations the Founder has chosen.
4. If any nation no longer meets the criteria for the Pact of the Rose, they shall be removed from it
5. All members of the Pact of the Rose must respect civil rights for all sapient beings
We encourage the members of the Pact to break economic ties with countries that could and would oppose it.

Oh, and, we encourage (but do not require) member states to remove the hammer and sickle from their flags. It is too much a reminder of the ideologies we oppose-Stalinism, for example.

Additional info: The Federated Lands of Stressia is not following a single ideology, since that would be unconstitutional. The current administration is of socialist-social democratic tendencies, but this may of course change when the elections happen to be won by different political forces.

with a consul representing all the different minorities, geographical regions, political associations, and religions, as well as some philosophers, all who meet in political conversation along with immense spiritual discussions that provide insight into what should be done for the nation. Ideas are constantly bounced back between this highest Consul, the much larger lower consul, and the populace, until decisions are finally made. Fluffy is there because he purrs, cuddles, is nice, soft, and sleepy, ultimately reminding each man or woman of the sweet innocence and love they should hold to others.
Extent of Economic Regulation: We provide a free market that allows friendly trade, but big businuess is monitored strongly and often excluded from arising. We export freely but monitor importation.
