Aridan, new planet discovered (FT)(OPEN)

Aridan is a planet located twelve jumps off of a major trade route. Until now, no one had found it until an Imperial Exploration Ship found it. The ship quickly landed on the planet and set up a small outpost. Since then, routes have been plotted to allow others to find it. The planet is an arid desert. What water is there is very very deep in the ground, and it requires digging. The outpost has been getting constant supply ships until water is struck. Daily massive sandstorms are only made worth it by significant ore deposits on the planet, and mining operations are being planned. The planet has just recently hit international channels when a nosey reporter followed a freighter. Other than the settlement, it SEEMS to be uninhabited. The planet has one moon, a harsh jungle with numerous deadly animals and plants.

The Star of the Queens, as a droid intelligence would render the planet irrelevant, and skip, but she remained curious. She signalled a droid ship in her Starfleet.

"Alright, then. Send a squadron of 302's, investigate the climate and area, then start to mine. Mining vessel, this is your time. Get your platform ready." Hardis radioed, and nodded to someone in the darkness of the bridge.

The platform began lowering, swinging as it went down. After being released, it fell through the atmosphere, and began to decrease in speed. It suddenly halted, and heated up. It glowed blue, and a long thick line powered down from the sky, scorching the earth, and making quite a large hole in it. Two more ships came out of hyperspace, one a colony ship, and one a support ship, both scanning the planet, checking for the best possible terrain to set up the military out post. They found a quite spot in a large chunk of land, and called it 'Dimoniquia', something that they had translated as 'hot', or 'dry'. After dropping a gate, the Clementina sent one hundred military personnel, and some building droids, ready to colonize the outpost. As they mined, they scanned the rest of the planet, checking for aborigines, or races that may have been there before them.

OOC: Think this for the outpost, but without the water.

The National Mine Company of Slakonian is going to settle 12.000 miners with farmers,scientists of all kinds,several security personnel(estimated 500)and also their families going to included,also and other kind of people jobs going to come so that the economy can be healthy and there is going to build a labour prison camp which is going to settle the Slakonian 's most famous prisoners,if their going to escape they won't go far and they can't hide.


I suggest we must not send military personnel any nation so that can be a peaceful and free from military planet,borders will still exist but the people whould pass free without pay anything but the would be checked for drug trafficing or be a dangerous criminal.

As the Star of the Queens received the confirmation message, she gave the orders to the vessel.
- HMS Starkindler go to the plotted coordinates at maximum warp, and commence Colonization Protocol X-003. Protocol will be uploaded now.
- Downloaded 30,000 Terabytes of data in 0.003 seconds. Commencing command execution now. HMS Starkindler out.
- One of Ten, Primary Adjunct of Unimatrix 5BA6E. This is my new designation.- mused the captain of the Starkindler while he was in warp in his ship. The downloaded programs made him assume he is the governor of our part of the planet. In 30 days they have arrived at the desert planet.
- OK, so we have to take down the very ship down there. No-one has tried landing with a capital ship, yet. We would be the first. Everyone hang onto something, this would be a bit rough! Shields up!
As the safety protocols were overwritten, the ship began to enter the atmosphere, and the Starkindler's impulse drives worked in reverse to break and maneuver the ship. They touched land at exactly the other side of the planet where the Gervos base is. Soon after this, the droids began the deconstruction of the ship, and within 6 months they built a base, now with 2,500 droids aboard like this:

Mining operations have started. At the depth of 2 kilometers we have found pure water, a calculated supply of 3 million cubic kilometers in the form of steam. If we cool it, we get power and drinkable water. We have life support up and running. The decommissioned ship's weapons are scavenged, and function as sentry towers. Shield generator is on-line. We haven't found any life, nor any minerals yet. We continue the excavation of the planet surface under and around the base to a depth of five kilometers. END REPORT.

"What? Where the hell's the science team?" He asked, walking up and loading his rifle. He hit his helmet, and his Tactical Map lit up, with his main objectives, and soon a map of his area and his vital signs.
"They're coming. We're Reconnaissance... we gotta do what we gotta do." The man said, knocking his helmet into place, and slung his rifle over his back. Once the gate had dialed, the first of the men went through. Everything's fine on this end. Bring 'em through. The radio went, and the sergeant nodded. They walked through, rifles in the air, and they looked in the distance. Two were already a few hundred meters in front of them, and the other two were up in the air. "So - what now?"
"We test. The hole had stopped a few clicks from here. Should be obvious how big it is."

The total force right now would be 1000 men but if you require more,we will be willing to provide. We hope you think over this offer. There will also be 200 hover carriers,which will carry 5 men each. They are armed with a 30mm gauss machinegun and have 4 inch titanium alloy armor. IC: On the Imperial base, the robots have assembled some air speeders, and are patrolling the area around the base. They always return and report nothing. Once one patrol didn't return.

We would like to ask for a vessel with raw materials. Also, we have encountered an unknown enemy. All hands are armed, but we lack adequate defense. Please send us firepower as well. The two long towers were now fully powered up and from the base of the tower pointing at the moon two very powerful beams shot out at the moon hitting it at two different points. almost at once the effects could be seen, a ripple effect from both points of origin erupted on the planet burning everything and began to expand east and west enveloping the moon in a wave of fire as the Empire prepared to terraform the moon.

"Sergeant - you better see this." Someone radioed. The sergeant looked around, seeing the man who radioed him, crouched down, next to a bulk of dirt. Or so it seemed. As he walked up, one of the reconnaissance troops was poking it with his gun. "Leave it, corporal."
"It's dead! Why should we- sergeant, tell her it's dead!" He moaned, turning to the sergeant.
"I don't care whether it's dead or not - I wanna know what it is. Looks like a giant bug."
"Six legs. Hard outer body, and these antennae. Defiantly a bug. Should we get him to take it back to the compound?" He asked.
"Do it." The sergeant said, and walked away. From there, he didn't see it coming. He honestly didn't. The bug sprung to life, clinging onto the man, and jabbed him in the back of the neck, unleashing some sort of venom. He fell to the ground, his Tactical Map showing that he was about to die, flashing, and the sound of gun fire, screaming, and radioing was blurred out. What ever was about to happen, it was about to happen to his team, and no-one knew how to stop it.
