Syndicate Accords

In the interests of mutual cooperation and increased prosperity within their respective alliances, the Galactic Empire Alliance and the Resolute Syndicate hereby declare their willingness to peaceful cohabitation with mutual respect and consideration. In recognition of this bond the following treaty shall be organized and signed by the respective parties concerned.

Article 1. Trade Relations
1.1 There shall exist no barrier or tax upon the exchange of goods between the member nations of the Resolute Syndicate or the Galactic Empire Alliance, if such nations within said alliances shall wish to foster and maintain such links of free trade.

1.2 For the purpose of trade and civilian travel the warpgate located within the Tarsus System, under the control of the Empire of Thrashia, shall function as the main thoroughfare for travel. Merchants from respective Syndicate nations shall register with the government of the Galactic Empire to obtain the required documentation for free travel through the Tarsus warp gate. Civilian travel of a tourist nature are to also be granted special documentation for free travel throughout the Galactic Empire territory.

Article 2. Mutual Defense Pact
2.1 In light of continued universal conflict the Resolute Syndicate and the Galactic Empire Alliance shall maintain an agreement of mutual-defense should either party be assaulted by a third party alliance.

2.2 Should a single member or group of members of either alliance be targeted specifically, this defense pact shall not come into effect.

2.3 If it should prove necessary, either party of this treaty reserves the right to request military aid from the other party in times of national crisis. It shall be up to either party to decide whether or not to agree to such a request. Any refusal shall not be seen as a rejection of this treaty, nor any acceptance seen as an activation of this treaty's articles.

After consideration and debate within the Command Junta of the Coalition Admiralty, it has been determined that the political aims and goals of this treaty and those of the Morningstar Coalition are compatible, and indeed are mutually beneficial. By this message, the Morningstar Coalition hereby agrees to this treaty insofar as the Morningstar Coalition is a member of the Resolute Syndicate.

The Coalition requests that a place and time be established whereby the Coalition Admiralty, or it's appointed delegate, may officially ratify and sign to this treaty, and thereby make official this treaty.

It is after deliberation and talk with many members of the Syndicate, and after slight discussion, my kindred and my brethren believe that the Treaty will result in a fair and equal peace between both organisations. Given it is our end goal to ensure stability, the link of galaxies will be a truly wondrous thing to behold, and we seek, surely, for a greater level of co-operation in the future. This, of all things, would surely begin a great path of brotherhood between us.

Consider this affluence and an affirmation of our sentiment - it is with honor we accept the Accords and brace the fold.

Upon careful consideration throughout the Collect, it has been decided that the Rethast shall sign this accord. Given the status of the Reik Remnant - a national entity we hold few, but strong ties with - of the former Rethast Militocracy and its membership in the Galactic Empire, the Pathogenic Rethast wholeheartedly support this agreement.

As it is commanded, so shall it be done.

The Kitsune Empire echoes the above sentiments and notes that the Galactic Empire has always been a bastion for peace and stability. May the partnership between the Syndicate and the Empire bring great bounties to all constituents and crush many foes beneath its might. Thus the Kitsune Empire of Xiscapia supports this endeavor.

The United Colonies of Kobol wishes to convey that it assents to this treaty and finds it appropriate for all involved. However, as it signs this treaty, it asks that all nations from either party respect UCK law in the exercise of treaty provisions, especially pertaining to well-known sensitive subjects (OOC Note: Should be read as the legendary distrust of AI in the UCK, especially the original Twelve Colonies.).
