HMS Indomitable
16th Fleet Group, 2nd Flotilla
Atlantic Ocean

The launch of over 300 missiles was an.... interesting choice to say the least. At 300km from the closest islands the fleet was pushing the range for current AShMs of the Bluraland military. At this range the BrahMos missiles would have little fuel left to make any last minute manovers, let alone do any evading. Not that they could, since the missiles were of a modestly dumber variety, receiving guidance from overhead sats and using a terminal homing radar. Unfortunately for the Bluralandians, the Royal Commonwealth navy operated sophisticated AEW aircraft which allowed the fleet to be aware of the missiles launch only moments after they had done so. A few more moments and the fleet was aware of the incoming swarm, any advantage conferred by its supersonic speed and low approach altitude were utterly decimated by the early warning.

Now as the missiles closed the carriers mighty escorts began targeting missiles and launching long range SAMs. With an escort of over two dozen not counting the six embedded arsenal ships the fleet had enough long range SAMs to allocate two SAMs per BrahMos missile. The missile strike was defeated before it had even begun. And if the long lead time for detection and elimination hadn't been enough the fleet painted the missiles with their targeting radars for their medium range SAMs just in case.

Now though, it was time for a dose of payback. The uncontested aerial supremacy of the fleet meant that not only had the land based air search radars been destroyed by countless earlier strikes but their policy of not even launching any interceptors allowed Pilowlandian electronic warfare (EW) aircraft to close to just 25km from the outer islands and in concert with their escorts begin disrupting enemy radio communications and any effectively jamming any surviving radar guided assets. The sheer EW bombardment by an entire squadron of EW aircraft, separated by nearly 200km between each and all with their own escorts. left no part of the electromagnetic spectrum untouched, for even satellite uplinks were being jammed by each aircraft dedicating the entirety of their power into jamming.

With the Strategic bomber nearly at their targets the fleet had deployed the necessary fighter screen to protect it. Now four squadrons of A18T naval fighters, stealthy craft built to compete with designs still several decades out, were leading the spearhead of the formation, right alongside the two squadrons of EW strike craft who had quickly isolated enemy air defense and search radars. Now, it was time for the fireworks to begin.

Three squadrons of multi-role A10 4.5 generation fighters made the final course corrections needed to release their payloads of HARM missiles, under the cover of high level radar jamming courtesy, conveniently leaving the least effective band of the Athian defense radar for the missiles to use. As such, the squadrons quickly fired their payloads which closed range to the radar stations at mach 2 while banking and returning to the carrier.

In order to protect the bombers from what was assumed would be the capital and border close air patrols the four squadrons of A18Ts stood by, armed with both long and medium range air-to-air missiles plus their mounted cannons. Not that any of the Athian planes would get close enough to try that.

Yet now, in the moment of wait which all this work had been put towards the strategic stealth bombers were at least within their magical 50km radius and their bomb bays opened. Out dropped their payloads of three FOABs each, with fins providing rudimentary guidance. Furthermore the six guided cruise missiles speed out, with a half dozen going towards the nations legislative building and three for their judicial center. Any others were randomly aimed at points of civil and military infrastrastructure within the city. The FOABs themselves though had no target aside from the city. The FOABs would detonate with equivilant of 3,168 tons of TNT... all of which would be focused on the Capital city proper. civilian casualties would be immense.

Their payloads unloaded the bombers banked back towards home, with the fighter screen lingering a moment more to ensure no last minute surprises sunk up on the departing forces.

The odds that the surrounding waters were swarming with Bluraland submarines were rather high, especially when one considered the vast number of submarines they maintained and the rather small area in which they operated them from. So when the sonar operators began to hear the acoustic profile of their fast attack submarines on the sonar few were surprised. The Blurlandian K-222 fast attack submarines, Pillowlandian Reporting Name Sanic II-Class, was admittedly very impressive on paper. Capable of 40 plus knots, and built with a titanium hull she was able to take quite a beating. Yet, she had one fatal achilles heel; her speed left her producing more sound across the board than nearly any other submarine of her caliber. The sheer number of these submarines inside the partly littoral areas of the Caribbean Sea meant that this noise added up to effectively add a layer of dampening for quieter vessels.

As the La ballena-Class submarines made their final approach the moon was just beginning to reach its azimuth. The skies were empty, at least if one were to look at the remains of the Blurlandian air defense radar network. Yet, in the sky were five squadrons of advanced A18T fighters armed entirely for air-to-air combat while they escorted three squadrons of ground strike craft to provide fire support to the impending landing.

Finally in the sea the four subs of the 11th Battlegroups offensive submersible squadron advanced upon the island, each with a set corridor to clear. As they closed on the first of the Sanic II-Class submarines the HMS Switch fired a MK.48 Mod 8 torpedo, guiding it in by the other subs much louder acoustic signature. The Pillowlandian subs may travel slower, but in this case silence was deaths hammer.

With the time having come the four la ballena-Class submarines beached themselves directly onto the shores of the Blurlandian capital. The normally bustling nightlife which was demanded by a capital city would doubtlessly be shocked at the sight of the ungainly black hulks which had the Pillowlandian flag emblazoned onto their conning tower. As the bow ramps dropped open the Pillowlandian armor and IFVs began rolling out while the infantry stormed the beach under their protective fire. They immediately began to set about planting fire charges and explosives upon the beachfront, which was now beginning to burn with the fires lighting up the sky. From above the strike craft began dropping bombs on the nearest police and fire stations, with more standing by for the eventual response by government forces.

The confirmation that the assault had begun in Bluraland meant that it was time to start here. With that the landing craft and helicopters lifted off, moving to secure the city of Acapulco. The men and armor were backed up by an extensive air support detachment and EW air group by the massed fleet off the coast.

The flashing lights and noise of the plaza lit up the face of President-Ecclesiarch Aaron Johgs as he waved to the assembled crowd. Here he was to address the crowd not as their President but as their religious figurehead. "Today I speak to you of immense importance. The bastardly AFN has attempted to strike out at us, to bomb out cities and our people without the slightest of Provocation. Today we answered that call to strike us down, by striking down their own capital city in a bath of holy fire!" He paused, the crowd going from silent shock to rowdy uproar in support of the administration's actions. "Now we have begun operations to cripple the AFN as a whole for their intention to kill us without provocation. We shall claim the lands of Africa which lie below the Sahara all the way to our southern most neighbor, and all the islands surrounding the continent in the name of Lugh the High King of the Gods, leefruimte! Bellum internecinum! Deus vult!"

The offensive had been a success. The FPFC army in Minnesota had been defeated after being fully enveloped in SNA troops. Ten thousand tanks from the south and east and five hundred thousand infantry and light armor from the West is a tactically impossible situation. The SNAF in the air had been successful in preventing AFN air superiority, shooting down a good hundred and seventy AFN airwings while losing less than forty airwings themselves. This was mostly due to the inability of most non-interceptor air craft to deal with interceptors. However, on the ground, it was a different story.

The SNA had suffered only minor losses, employing tactics used by Hannibal in the Battle of Cannae thousands of years ago, lulling the AFN column into a false sense of victory before surrounding them from all sides. Cut off from outside help, the AFN column in the center became a mass of men fighting shoulder to shoulder without orders from command, each man fighting for themselves made the battle easy to win for the IDC, with a ten to one kill loss ratio, losing less than seventy five thousand men while killing over seven hundred and fifty thousand. FPFC's determination to punch through Sudardesian lines only landed him surrounded by hostile forces and destroyed. When the dense AFN column advanced, with the intention of breaking the thin Sudardesian center, the IDC forces gave them ground, when suddenly, the lines on the left and right flanks turned inwards and began pushing the AFN column. They were now engaged in three sides. At this time, the Sudardesian armor arrived from the west and pushed in on the remaining front, completely surrounding the AFN column. It was a decisive victory.

Now, the SNA could focus on Iowa. The forces there would need reinforcing. The robots in Kansas and Missouri would press inwards from the South and some of the forces in Minnesota will move in from the North. They would still be outnumbered once they were there, but the SNA planned to outsmart their opponents this time.

IC
San Fransisco, California, North America 5:10 PM
The SAM turrets fired. The AWAC patrols authorized by Nietzsche earlier in the war paid off. The Sudardesian aerial defense was made clear of the imminent arrival of the largest air assault ever in the regions history, and they were more than prepared. Being one of the regions top four arms exporters had its perks when in a global war: a massive surplus of weaponry. More than two thousand radar guided SAM positions were scattered over California alone, each one equipped with four SAMs and twenty four reserve rockets. All of them fired sixteen SAMs with deadly accuracy at the approaching CIAF forces out of range of their own missile defense systems as they began their bombardment of San Fransisco. The all hit their under funded and outdated targets with ease. What ever CIAF forces were left over from the initial strike were quickly dealt with by flak positions on the ground over CA and ten airwings of the SNAF. The Confedracy was not coming anywhere near Sudardes.

One the coasts, the MAC guns along the Pacific forts took aim. Twenty five canons scattered across five forts within the range of a hundred and sixty kilometers of the Confedrate fleet. "They done goofed." The Sudardesian field Marshall said, peering through his binoculars as the 50cm cannons howled in the distance. "Are the MAC guns in range?"
"Yes sir," the operator said. "We're ready to fire on your mark."
"I want twenty MACs on their battleships, two for each, and five MACs on their carriers, two for each and one more for good measure. Relay that to the other forts. Fire at will."
The 500mm rail guns spewed out their multi ton shot at mach seven towards the Confederate fleet. Each shot was composed of ultra dense waste depleted uranium that was used in the nations nuclear power plants. The sheer momentum of the shots (speed and mass) meant that no anti missile tech was able to even slow down each round. Despite the long way the MACs have come from their American predecessors, they took time to recharge, each shot requiring a whopping 10 mega watts. The reload time was five minutes for each turret, thus the forts fired in sync, making sure the large players in the fleet never took any rest from their guns.

The city of San Fransisco had been evacuated the moment the large fleet and air assault showed up on radar, with citizens being moved inland.

Confedracy had gone for a quantity over quality approach to their military development, with an army seven times the size of Sudardes with only half the budget. This meant that any offensive made by Confedracy hinged not on technological superiority but solely on power in numbers. At first, Sudardesian officials were terrified at the news, but now as it became clear that the opponent was nothing more than a sheep wearing wolfs clothing, retained closure and prepared their own offensive against the advancing 20 million in Washington.

Over three hundred and fifty air wings out of six fifty remained on high alert. A hundred and fifty were over the skies of Minnesota shooting down AFN air support, another hundred were deployed over Kansas and Missouri to ensure mission success there. The forty airwings had been lost and ten airwings were damaged but expected to fly soon after repairs. The SNMC divisions were mostly intact, only taking heavy casualties in MN, where the story of IDC success has begun to spread.

There was only two ways into Washington from Canada if you were intent on blitzing in. One of them, a narrow mountain pass near Tonasket, had been scuttled when the war first started. The other, was through a marshy coast less than 50km in length. So naturally when 20 million men and armor attempted to make their way across this inhospitable tank landscape, they were literally fish in a barrel. Tanks would be immobilized in the landscape and would require various maintenance vehicles to dig it out, stopping the momentum of the 'blitz.' Without CIAF in the air (as they would have been located by AWACs shot down by Sudardesian SAMs hundreds of kilometers before they could even approach) meant that the SNAF was virtually unchallenged in the air. Three bomber airwings, a close air support air wing, and an interceptor airwing were deployed alongside a million infantry, at least one in three armed with anti tank weapons, to deal with the trapped tanks. The high density of 20 million men clustered in a less than a hundred square kilometers meant that it was nearly impossible for the nearby artillery to not inflict hundreds of casualties with each shell placed. It was also impossible too for the cruise missiles located in Washington to annihilate the cluster of troops moving slowly, if at all, across horrible marshy terrain. The Confedrate troops, who receive less than seven thousand dollars of training per person, were at a loss for what to do as sniper fire and artillery slowly picked them off. If any amount of armor or soldiers made it across this killing field, they would have found themselves starring down the barrel of a tank cannon outside the marshes or even if they evaded those, would not have supplies to survive long enough to do anything meaningful before dying. Most likely, Confedracy would continue pouring men into this narrow chute. Please. Here, numbers count for nothing!

By now, the Texas group had arrived at their positions, summing the total force at the Ace Newhauland border at 3.5 million men. Their strategy was simple. Around two million men were to be deployed down either side of the mountain range that ran straight through the country. The SNAF was to scout the area before hand and destroy any radar stations to ensure a SNA victory in the skies. In order to avoid a fiasco like Ace Newhauland did in their invasion of Sudardes, the generals devised a plan. After the SNAF disable Newhaulands ability to launch large quantities of SAMs, they would scour the coast for any artillery instalments and disable those too. Then the Sudardesian forces will move, first several thousand tanks on either side with no problem over the flat coastal terrain, followed more slowly by infantry, who will clean up in the wake of the Blitz. Then from the South, the West Brasilistani will move 4 million into their Southern states in similar fashion (destroying radar etc etc) and then split into two million and rendezvous with the SNA in the middle of the country. From the West, the West Brasilistani navy in coordination with Pillowlania will launch an amphibious assault after the destruction of Newhaulands coastal defences to draw troops away from the apex of fighting. By this time tomorrow, Ace Newhauland will be wiped off the map.

Unbeknownst to New Velonia, his paratroopers were now surrounded completely by over three hundred thousand Sudardesian infantry and tanks, hiding in the plains, waiting to engage. Without armor support, the paratroopers will not stand a chance against so much fire coming in from every direction, even the skies. Or the SNA could wait for the paratroopers supplies to run out. But, Sudardesian generals, sensing a decisive victory ahead, did the former option of jumping out and slaughtering the New Velonian troops. The fight did not last long at all.

SIC
Somewhere near the Kansas-Missouri Border, North America 5:12 PM
With Puncakes now out of North America, troops can be moved to attack FPFC. The six million bots were now marching towards the Missouri border to meet with the other four point five million, with SNAF support aircraft in the skies. Their job was simple. Split into two groups, one of which will advance further into Missouri while the other one would push up into Iowa. With Kansas officially under IDC control, they could now afford to use air bases in Kansas and scavenge for supplies and other useful devices in the state.

SIC
Somewhere in Korea, 5:12 PM
The SNA in Korea, just under two million men, were ordered to engage in guerilla warfare. There was no way of beating back their over five million aggressors without losing their entire army and then leaving the nation defenseless. Thus the men took their equipment and began to embed themselves in society, striking when opportune. In the fields, they dug spider holes and tunnels that ran under the country. They were dug in and prepared. The SNA in Korea's primary focus now became to disrupt enemy supply lines and crippling their abilities to launch an assault from Korea into Japan. Their strategy was simple. Destroy roads and use anti tank equipment against convoys. Cripple communications centers set up by Confedracy and make their lives hard in general. It would be impossible to tell who was a combatant and who was not. This gave Sudardes and undeniable advantage in doing their job.

IC
Along the coast of Japan, 5:12 PM
The final landing craft exploded in a shower of sparks. If a moderately defended coast line with modern weaponry could stave off a superior landing force, then of course an over defended coast line with near-future weaponry could stave off an underfunded poorly trained albeit huge landing force. What was Confedracy thinking attacking an extremely well armed island nation with such a poorly prepared force? Their strategy was laughable. The repeated attempts to shell the city with battleships were ended quickly by MACs and Crawlies along the coast who were well within range, sinking their fleet within two hours. Bombing didn't work either. A repeat of events in San Fransisco played itself out over Japan in a much larger scale. The SAMs fired their missiles and brought down a variety of CIAF aircraft before they could even reach the shore thanks to AWAC patrols that let Japan know of their presence hours in advance. The coastal turrets destroyed incoming landing craft, not that it was necessary in the first place as tank and artillery were primed at the beaches, making any attempt to land impossible. The invasion fleet was lost, albeit a few destroyers and smaller craft were able to escape the fury of the MACs. The landing craft were destroyed by an array of ASMs and artillery barrages. IDC estimates the losses to be five million infantry and armor sunk off the Japanese coast, and the destruction of four battleships and two aircraft carriers to the MACs with an unknown number of smaller craft sunk. Confedracy had lost two of four battlegroups. Did Confedracy not know that a lot has changed since Normandy? Perhaps the Sudardesian soldiers will ask the Confedrate generals themselves when they march the Confedrate capital.

This post is written by Pillowlandia with and by the consent of Bergcornopolis due to time constraints. As such I, pillow, have been given temporary access to the account to write this post on his behalf.

Beijing, China

The capital of the Jazado regime was entirely enveloped, and had been for several days at this point. The sudden and swift assault by AFN forces swarming across the border had caught the entire region by surprise. As such, the captured outskirts of the city had been converted into forward defences and makeshift bunkers to further ensnare the tiny force defending the urban center. Outside of the city lay a veritable tent city, housing well organized groups of temporary buildings and tents to house and feed a 25 million man army as it both sieged a city and made preparations to move further south. Among such temporary buildings was a prefabricated command structure, noticeable as it stood among a cluster of other buildings and had a mass of various antennas above its well armored roof.

Brigadier General Thomas of the Bergcornian Logistical Operations entered the command building from the increasingly cold outdoors. Approaching the other general in the room he cleared his throat and snapped a crisp salute which was quickly returned. "How goes the siege General Marcus?" He asked, approaching the table full of charts and maps.

"Very, very well if I do say so myself. We clear a block every hour or so though the fighting is getting more and more intense as we approach the city center." He said as he ran his finger over a red line indicating one of the advances his forces was making into the city."And how does our supply situation go?"

Thomas grimaced at the remark, the speed of the campaign had ensured that supply arrangements had been slipshot at the outset, with supplies having ran close to out before the eagles arrives. "Our engineering corps is working round the clock and we how have repaired several small regional airports and have begun construction of our own temporary one capable of landing strategic cargo aircraft to further increase our capabilities to support an advance. I say that we shall have enough supplies to support an offensive operation within the end of the week."

"Very good pro-" Marcus began before being cut off by an colonel. "General, Brigadier General. A call from the Emperor himself is on the line." With nods from the two men the emperor was put on a handset on the central table.

"General Marcus, I am very proud of your progress thus far in your campaign. The reports coming back from the field are very very good news for myself and the imperial Congress. You are very much the right man for the job. As for your General Thomas, your efforts to correct your former counterparts errors is very commendable. Your progress thus far even more so. I expect many more great things from the both of you. Now, go forth and slaughter the Jazadian dogs. I trust your judgements.", with that the Emperor ended the call from his end having said what he wished.

Several minutes later, as the two generals were engrossed in conversation about plans moving forward, a lone V-11 Wasp VTOL transport craft painted with the Bergcornian colors approached and landed just outside the building. It's rear ramp dropped, and out walked three men. One wore the dress uniform of an Admiral and the second the dress uniform of a commodore. Both of the Pilowlandian Royal Commonwealth Navy design. Yet the third wore simple fatigues.

They entered the building quickly, nodding respectfully at the Bergcornian generals. "I am Admiral Oakes, and this is Commodore Wilkins. I am here to verbally confirm the deal, an air wing will be at your disposal within the hour, they should be landing as we speak, as well as the 15th QRF Division. Naturally their uniforms and equipment have been modified to be in line with your 3rd Foreign Legion Corps. Furthermore you shall have the 42nd Naval Detachment at your disposal for operations in the south, the attached fire power shall be more than plenty to secure an oceanic airborne route to land supplies and reinforcements. Brigadier General Marshal shall be your liaison and will in in charge of our forces in the region. I wish you the best of luck in your campaign."

With that the two naval officers left, embarking the V-11 which promptly lifted back off and back towards the 42nd Naval Detachment.

Rome, Italy

The city was abuzz with noise, the Bergcornian army had swept into the city from the north and south. Their amphibious landings were effective at quelling any thoughts of resistance in southern Italy while also giving the marines practice for more hectic landings which would inevitably occur. The armored columns from the north served to highlight the ineffectiveness of the,now dead, Italian armies ATGMs. Being outclassed in every way had quickly lead to the complete rout of the army in the field. Further showing just how complete the rout had been was the fact that the leading elements of the army were able to simply move into Rome without any resistance.

As such, the Imperial Guard had moved up, ahead of schedule but such an event was welcome, from the rear and was now busily preparing the city for the upcoming ceremonies. The Imperial Guard were an imposing division of the state, and their importance was apparent from the decadence of their uniforms, even in their lowly ranks. Yet even with this they were no nonsense, and sticklers for the rules.

With curfew, checkpoints, patrols, dogs, guns, tanks, and helicopters Rome had been locked down tight, it's normally bustling streets much mure subdued under the Guard's watchful eye. But even then the scalpers and pop-up merchants were beginning to appear as they sensed the impending chance to make money from the ceremonies of the Emperor.

The airfield, built in a matter of days to supply the needs of a 25 million field army was sprawling to day the least. With more than a dozen runways and several more under construction it would likely become a permanent fixture after the war, perhaps even as a military installation of the victor. Now though, it was bringing in nearly hourly planes of men and material.

One such was the rebranded 15th QRF Division of the Royal Commonwealth Army, twenty thousand combat hardened veterans of countless wars and interventions. Now though they wore uniforms of the Bergcornian 3rd Foreign Legion, where the Pillowlandians has acquired said uniforms was left unmentioned between two two powers, and they even carried the standard rifle to simplify logistical operations. Now the veterans with their IFVs and MK.VI Patriot tanks, the latest Pillowlandian MBT and equipped with sophisticated APS and smart shells, began preparations for an immediate offensive operation to the south. They would follow closely behind the impending wave of air attacks.

The promised air wing, composed of a dozen squadrons of interceptors, the land variety of the A18T stealth fighter, intended to wipe out the surviving Jadozian aircraft. Yet on top of that six squadrons of F/A-28 ground strike aircraft had been attached to provide strike packages for ground targets of value. Ones such as a surviving airfield for example. A even more special surprise was the three squadrons of EW and AWA&C aircraft which accompanied the fleet of planes. In order to shelter the planes which were obviously Pillowlandian hangers had been erected before their arrival where they quickly entered to disguise from overhead satellites.

The sprawling airfield itself, much like the base, was protected by well placed field guns, infantry trenches and the various standards of an entrenched defense. Furthermore the were airborne AEW craft to augment the temporary ground radar stations as the base slowly become more and more permanent in construction. The air defense was handed by a variety of SAMs and mobile gun platforms, ensuring a multilayered air defense over the entire camp.

As a result with the Pillowlandian craft having landed, armed, refueled (with fully synthetic bio-aviation fuel nonetheless), and swapped relief crews into the planes they exited the hangers and began to taxi. The first wave would include two squadrons, 24 planes, of A18T-Ls, land variant, two squadrons of F/A-28s, another 24 craft, and a squadron of EW planes which included four EW planes to eliminate air defense and overwhelm enemy sensors and communications while one AEW&C craft would provide overwatch and command.

The large number of planes deployed south, heading towards the center of the defensive air network. The AEW&C plane hung back, with four A18T-Ls to escort it, while the rest moved forward to begin operations at 50km out. The EW planes had two jobs; locate enemy radar installations of any variety, and deploy a full spectrum bombardment of IDC frequencies, conveniently the operations in North America had provided the necessary frequencies used thus allowing for time to be saved and more powers to be focused on a few less parts of the spectrum.

Now though, the planes let off a series of HARM missiles, two per radar installation. Furthermore more with the primary air defense systems eliminated, and no enemy fighters in sight, the the strike craft closed moderately closer, at rough 25km, and began launching guided munitions at various bunkers and obvious command posts. Following the sortie the entire assault force retired to the airfield to rearm and refuel while another force of equal size launched to strike the leftern side of the enemy front.

The fleet had met little opposition, from anyone at all. Though they had at times been trailed by a few submarines it was evident none of them had the speed capability to keep up with a CBG of any sort. Now, having lost their tails they moved into position to begin the next act.

“Helm, adjust course to -228 degrees. Inform HMS- sorry BSS Cannon that mission is good.” Said Commodore Lewis as he read the printed report from Pillowland PACCOM, pacific command, and glanced up at the fleet. To his right were the carriers of the fleet, each abuzz with visible activity on their deck even at this distance.

Looking back down at his watch, standard issue locally connected watch, and it ticked over to the hour. “Begin the bombardment.” And to the front of the bridge the hatches on five VLS cells opened. Inside each was a quad packed land attack missiles, and from them spewed fire as the collective sixteen missiles, each with a 300kg warhead, launched upward and cleared the ship. As they cleared the fleet they dropped down close to the water's surface. As they closed distance to the coast they received targeting data from satellites far above; their mission was to destroy government and civilian ground stations for all sorts of communications satellites, and they were meant to cripple the communications of the Jadazian forces along with their allies. The great scheme had begun.

The office complex had grown in recent months moths as the vacant space was filled with engineers and support staff. The rapid expansion was of little problem to the company, its revenues topped two trillion Pillows a year in profit alone. Yet of that more than half was dumped back into constant R&D projects, it was expensive to stay on the edge of development after all. Plus, the indirect backing of the company by the Royal Family was no small help either.

As such the office was the heart of new efforts, to build a space elevator. Construction was already well underway and it seemed that other nations were beginning to do the same. So the company had been directed to push the completion date without compromising the safety of it. A difficult task, but the company specialized in difficult tasks. So now it was cooperating with Moscou Shipyards to build this monster so that the next phase of projects could be done.

High in orbit, geosynchronous above Pillowgrad, lay two connected platforms. Each was a massive construct which was completely sealed. And each had regular space flights with multi-ton payloads to them. Now though their products lay almost ready for launch; the Winters-Class frigate. The war would soon take on a fourth dimension.

The command desk was ever so busy with all of the new conflicts around the world. General Kamiyama sat, coffee in hand sifting through the surveillance reports submitted by that ever so serious Satoshi.
Over the sound of the many papers being filed through on the desk, a phone rang. This was no rare occurrence to Kamiyama, ever since he had been placed into office to replace the late Muerdou.
Picking up the phone, Kamiyama asked ever so informally, "Who is this?"
"Front desk sir, our guests from Pillowlandia and the New Soviet Republics have arrived."
Kamiyama, eager to be doing something other than paperwork smiled.
"Send them to the meeting room on floor B7, I'll be there shortly. Make sure they feel comfortable."
"Yes sir" replied the desk attendant, before hanging up.

THE BOX, INSTITUTE OF WAR, TRIPOLI

A bleak room surrounded the now seated Gendo Ikari and Crown Prince Andrew Athrawes Johgs. Of course it was to be expected from a building meant to withstand nuclear detonation.

The 19 inch thick steel door opened, followed by General Kamiyama walking briskly into the room, coffee still in hand.

"Greetings, gentlemen," Kamiyama spoke, sitting at his own chair on the round, steel table.
Gendo sat, hands over mouth only acknowledging Kamiyama's presence with eye contact, whilst Johgs stood, reaching over the table to shake hands with the General.
"I presume that this meeting is quite important considering you've called the both of us here." Gendo spoke, with a cold yet somewhat amused tone.
"I've come with a proposition that will see benefit in the three of our nations. If you will, please follow me." Kamiyama stated, directing the two formidable leaders outside the box and into the halls of floor B7.

The trio of leaders strolled out the Box and down a short hall, lit with fluorescent lights, leaving nothing hidden. Stopping at the door, Kamiyama turned his gaze partway to Gendo and Johgs, "From here on, this does not exist until further notice. Speaking of the contents of this room will be considered an act of war."

Kamiyama pressed his thumb to a console, which took blood readings extracted from his digit, before giving a light beep of conformation. The next door, opened, revealing a large space. All around, lay weapons and many soldiers to accompany them. The three continued their march down to a firing range.

"As you can see, we've been hard at work when it comes to developing instruments of war that will grant us minimal casualties for maximum impact. So, here's the deal" Kamiyama began, lifting a thin, ash gray sheet of armor up, before effortlessly tossing it to Johgs, who caught it, surprised by the lack of weight.

"This is a joke, right?" Johgs spoke. "This armor couldn't defend from a 9mm pistol!"

"Oh really?" Kamiyama said, with that, the former soldier grabbed one of the assault rifles behind him, coffee mug still in hand, and proceeded to lay 3 rounds directly into the armor Johgs held.

Johgs, taken aback from the sudden action, was not amused at the slightest. "You just shot a live firearm at a state official! Do you want to start a wa-" Johgs stopped, realizing if he had been shot he would've long since been on the ground even with the body armor under his suit. Yet he had not felt any of the bullets make impact. The firearm was aimed directly at him, and there was no way the bullets vanished out of thin air.
Johgs looked below him, seeing the flattened pancakes that were once .30 assault rifle rounds.

Gendo, raising an eyebrow peered at the armor that the still taken aback and somewhat angry Johgs held, intrigued by the mechanics of said armor.

Kamiyama grinned, his style of demonstration may've been unorthodox, but it sure did get his point across. Damn I'm good. He thought to himself, before being interrupted by Gendo.

"So, what exactly is this armor made of?"

The Duckzchwhitizan General set down the rifle and walked over to Johgs, tapping on the breastplate. "It's made of a compressed nano carbon structure which we call 'CC' or compressed carbon armor for short. As you saw the energy that was carried in those rounds I shot at Johgs just a moment ago was dispersed. The nature of the nano-structure allows the impact to be spread across the armor without leaving a scratch. Lighter than aluminum and as versatile as steel, this stuff really is A half inch thick version of the full body armor we've been developing can tank up to a 155mm howitzer round whilst only giving it's user slight injury."

"And?" Stated Johgs, interested, yet still somewhat pissed.

"At this moment, while carbon is a seemingly inexhaustible material, actually producing it is a pain in the ass. So I come to you with this, with you two, we can have the industrial power to actually mass produce this material, and bring us ahead of the rest in military might and bring ourselves into the space age with this."

General Kamiyama flipped on a screen on the wall besides the trio, showing a large blueprint for what appeared to be a space elevator, marked as YGGDRASIL. "Using CC," Kamiyama continued, "we can create a space elevator with ease, one that will be able to be defended properly and maintain operational status for quite some time. We intend on constructing it just Northwest of Pillowlandia, right on the equator."

"I see no problem with it," Gendo replied, "So you're proposing we lend our industry in producing CC and assisting the construction of this orbital elevator as a means to further our power in both military and science?"

"Exactly," Kamiyama concurred, "We can start by establish our joint presence in both the air and on the ground once we are able to issue this to our troops."

"I'm fine with this," Johgs said curtly, "Yet if you ever point that gun at me again, consider it war."

"Of course," Kamiyama chuckled, "Then this meeting is over, it's good to work with you two again."
Let us gain absolute victory, even if we are to be sentenced to hell for it.

War Room somewhere in Bluraland 08:00

Buklar was rushed into the war room and briefed on what had taken place.
"So that's what we got sir" said the secretary of defence.
"So we lost a sub on the way to the capital?" questions Buklar
"yes sir"
"That was stupid no doubt they landed on the beach as well as our forces have not reported sightings anywhere else"
"Well they launched EW aircraft with escorts to destroy radio towers and such sir"
"Once again why would they do that we have SAM sites near all of them"
"Yes sir we have shot down a lot of aircraft but could not prevent the destruction of these buildings however many were also very basic with our main ones still intact sir in their secret locations"
"Very good send 8 submarines to the capitals shores and should they meet enemies give them hell. also then scramble the air force for a brief time to distract theirs and then use the 50k nearby units to deal with thee capital"
"very good sir"
"Get the satellites over the islands ASAP so we can be ready. once done we can see what we are up against."
"Will do"

War Room somewhere in Bluraland 18:00

Buklar walked into a room full of smiling faces the plan had worked with only a couple of minor mishaps
The La ballena-Class submarines due to being on the beach were destroyed with no losses so the 8 subs simply dispersed back to their previous locations.
The Pillowlandian air units were shot down with no survivors due to being completely surrounded and being overconfident that Bluralands air force was not going to do anything.
All forces that landed on the beach were completely useless when met but the huge city with snipers, rockets and hails of bullets flying from what seemed like every building. nobody survived the onslaught, the brave Pillowlandian soldiers were given a proper burial in a nearby field and a Pillowlandian flag was raised on that field to honour them. those who had been sent on a suicide mission.
Buklar was proud the soldiers had done their job and disappeared without a trace of anything.
He now spoke up "I wish to open talks with Pillowlandia to see what they are trying to accomplish, they must have believed that people were in that city and had intention of harming them which are war crimes and also destroying civilian property is."
"our forces disappeared without a trace sir and will definitely not be found thanks to the precautions we took"

Total losses : everything Pillowlandia sent
750 Bluraland soldiers
3000 peoples homes

(Should TDC follow the Geneva conventions and Under the laws of armed conflict, civilian property may not be targeted as such, simply for the sake of destroying it I may bring this to the necessary persons so to discuss what Pillowlandia is trying to do which is raze capitals just to make a point.)

CENTER OF INTELLIGENCE, REDACTED, REDACTED

The war room was silent, only the clicking of keyboards was to be heard with three dozen or so consoles lit up in front a large scale map of what currently was the Mediterranean sea. All of which sat ahead of Head of Intelligence Satoshi Tadashi's desk, as he observed and provided information to the many naval craft currently dispatched across the globe.
An officer walked up, carrying a tablet in hand, stoic, like most members in intelligence. "Sir, the files you needed." He breathed, not to disturb the many other intel officers working to gather relevant data amongst the garble of foreign wires.
Looking through the text on the tablet screen, Satoshi smiled a little, a rare occurrence from the head of Intel, "I see, so they agreed to the plan. Taking the Suez won't be so difficult after all. Once our chips fall into place, the stage will be set for us to make our move and take our place in the world." Satoshi looked up at the officer, "Good work, you're dismissed, also, contact General Kamiyama, and Admiral Yates, inform them Operation Hellfire is ago."
"Yes sir."

12TH FLEET, DMS SURPRISE, SOMEWHERE IN THE SOUTHEAST MEDITERRANEAN

Admiral Yates stood on the deck, in front of the other commanders, waiting as a black, unmarked helicopter landed aboard the carrier. They had expected their arrival with the men on board for days now, yet travelling so covertly took time when every other nation was watching nowadays.

The chopper landed, doors opening to reveal several men, all dressed in suits, who hopped out, one after the other. Following them, a distinctly more aged man followed, with a large aluminum briefcase in hand.

"Welcome aboard, Commodore, we've been expecting you." Yates greeted, walking up to the older man, and promptly shaking his hand.

"This meeting is not supposed to be happening, so I would prefer we spoke somewhere more private." Replied the Commodore, serious, yet not showing much worry physically.

"Of course, follow me" The Admiral directed the men and officers promptly into the now empty bridge.

Flipping a switch the steel shutters dropped to cover the windows, giving the room a more unfriendly appearance as the men bustled in.

As soon as the weighted door shut behind the Admiral began, clasping his hands together, "You have come with the package, may I take a look at it?"

"Of course," replied the Commodore, setting the briefcase onto the flat surface of console in the center of the room. As he opened the briefcase, the Pillowlandian naval standard was immediately recognizable. "We wished to provide this to you... For more special occasions."

Yates smiled, "Very good, we know it was dangerous coming out here, yet our nation thanks you for working for us."

"No need, the agents at ONI as you probably already know have been keeping a close eye on those whom would wish to interfere with such a meeting, as I would assume your very own REDACTED sector has been working to do."

"Glad to see we have our mutual intelligence trade still, let's hope that situation stays stable... For now, we can close this meeting, and you may return to Pillowlandia. It's been a pleasure, Commodore."

"Indeed it has."
Let us gain absolute victory, even if we are to be sentenced to hell for it.

Bejing, China

The 127th, 11th, 152nd, and 123rd Bergcornian air wings had been forward deployed to the budding network of airfields being tossed up by the various engineering companies of the army. Now, with supplies firmly taken care of and the men refreshed from their hard push in the initial fighting the army was ready to restart offensive operations. The recent SEAD ops against the ragged defensive lines had been rather successful in at the very least driving the defenders to take measures to protect their air defense from air strikes if not outright destroyed them, though the answer was undoubtedly a mix of both.

As such the refreshed, rearmed, and revised assault plan upon the defensive emplacements was to begin. The EW aircraft and the strikes against satellite ground strikes were certain to ensure extensive difficulty in the defenders attempts to organize. As such, three massive columns consisting of five million men and armor were departing in three prongs for a deep break through the enemy defensive lines. With that a fourth column of another five million men set and ready to act as both a reserve force and to hold the line while the prongs advanced. In total twenty million of the twenty-five million strong field army were to be involved in the next phase of combat operations. Each advancing force had been designated as the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Field Armies while the forces in the rear were organized under the 4th field army.

That left five million men to act as both a deep reserve and to continue the siege of Beijing. Now the tempo of artillery strikes raining down upon the city increased in tempo, reaching nearly four hundred shells an hour. The city should fall shortly if all went according plan; but battle plans never survived contact with the enemy intact.

Rome, Italy

The armored divisions sent into Italy were now being withdrawn, moving via road back home for a short period of rest and maintenance before the next operation. Accompanying them were several dozen mechanized divisions of infantry.

However, the amphibious forces along with other forces of army were now marshalling in southern Italy for assaults upon the southern Mediterranean coast within the next several weeks. At sea the 7th Fleet prepared for operations. Comprised of the finest carrier in the whole fleet, the BSS Emperor, and her escorts she sailed for Constantinople. They would arrive shortly within range for strikes and begin operations in advance for the naval landings.

OUTSIDE THE SUEZ CANAL, 12th FLEET

"Sir we've gotten the green light, forces are being dispatched in preparation for phase two, as for now we are to go on with our original plan." Spoke one of the the comm officers, looking back to Admiral Yates.

"Great to hear, put me on fleetcom lieutenant." Responded the Admiral, grabbing the comm radio. "Alright 12th fleet, we're here to make history and to bring ourselves into glory with a bang! Let's win this, don't let any of yourselves get carried away, we have plenty of more battles to fight, so don't you die here! Now go!" The Admiral concluded his fiery speech with a click of the comms. The atmosphere was filled with energy, one that would not be wasted.

Following the green light, a swath of cruise missiles lit up the evening sky, trailing to their targets over along the canal. Wave after wave, the missiles flew. The Admiral had estimated that the destroyers alone had brought enough firepower to overwhelm the CIWS. Along with the rest of the Suez, about 1,500 had been stockpiled just to seize the canal, forcing the IDC forces to come out and fight with their weakened forces or fall back into the red sea, which they would meet a nasty surprise. Whilst that occurred, the 2 carrier strike-groups would maintain a safe distance from the Suez, having AWACS scan for submarines in the area whilst having fast moving stealth planes combat enemy radar systems from under the umbrella of fleet defenses, allowing the assault to have maximum effect

The fleet dragged forward, as the first wave of aircraft launched to surgically remove any currently disabled SAMs and other AA units.

Man, this is going to be one long night. Admiral Yates thought, with a sigh.

The fleet carried on.

Alasia, New Velonia
After an extensive briefing on the Pillowlandia/ Bluraland War, the President is ready to make his decision on what to do
"Allen?"
"Yes, Mr. President?"
"Order the State Department to allocate Foreign Aid for Bluraland. How much can we spare?"
"A lot, sir. We do have the Region's highest Foreign Aid spending, by far."
"Great. Allow them to use it to supply their forces, feed their men, whatever they need it for, got it?"
"Alright, sir. And Sudardes?"
"We'll stay in the War with Sundardes now. What is the status of Muddy Falls' naval line?"
"I don't know, sir. I tried reaching them, but they're not able to get back to us yet."
"That's odd. And it seems like Pillowlandia is ignoring it, too."
"That is odd."
"That will be all, Secretary."
"Thank you, Mr. President."

In summary, the New Velonian Government is using its massive Foreign Aid supply to aid Bluraland in pushing out the barbarians.

Burmaosnam-Haidao Border

The third and fourth Burmaosnamese armies have been on high alert ever since the Burmaosnam war. The Jean Guy government has learnt their lesson in dealing with the AFN and negotiated a wide variety of arms deals with Sudardes, granting them a prowess on the battlefield. The first stage was simple. Confuse Haidao air defense and communications by utilizing the latest pulse jamming techniques. Older F-18s and F-22s would still remain combat effective in this day and age with the jammer from a Sudardesian electronic warfare aircraft in the air. They would be invisible on the Haidao radar and cross into Cambodian airspace without alerting anyone. The ERC had already provided the precise locations of the stationary Haidao radar facilities. The only problem would be visually guided anti air positions, but the losses to those would be minimal.

Once this step is complete, the two armies along the border will push into Cambodia, totalling just over a million men, pushing inwards from two sides. By this point, the Haidao in Cambodia will be cut off from all help. The Jean Guy Air Force will have total air dominance over the tiny Haidao colony, preventing any means of escape and providing air support for ground forces. The Haidao colony was destined to fall from the beginning.

Jean Guy

The last air defense SAMs were moved into place. Prime Minister Stephen Locke looked up just in time to see the AWACs do their routine sweep over the harbor. The rest of Jean Guys forces were being mustered. They were to split into a defensive and offensive group. The defensive group would stay on the islands and protect them whilst the offensive group will reroute into Burmaosnam to prepare for a ground invasion of AFN controlled China. They were to then meet up with the Jazadoan military, or what is left of them anyways, to develop and effective counter offensive. Finally, Jean Guy has joined the fight.

Rooftop in Shapiron, Japan 7:10 PM
Nietzsche gazed into the bay, snow falling gently around him. From the Ivory Tower, a 120 story sky scraper, he could see the Confedrate forces slowly disappearing over the horizon. The bay was scattered with sinking Confedrate landing craft, battleships, and destroyers, ripe for salvaging in the shallow water. The fires from their fuel lit up the night sky. By this time, small pockets of Sudardesians were beginning to come out of their bunkers to examine the extent of the damage done to Japan. As far as his intelligence told him, Confedracy had taken a major blow. The small number of craft purchased by their hyper inflated ultra low budget had been decimated. Sudardesian SAM technology had saved the day yet again, with AWAC patrols had forseen the Confedrate airforce from literally hundreds of miles away. Nietzsche stroked his moustache, pondering his next move.

"Sir Jean Guy has mobilised." It was Baxton.
"Excellent. What is their strategy?"
"Electronic countermeasures to smuggle a group of bombers into Haidao-Cambodia to take out their airfields and then two million men mobilised."
"Did the ECM work?"
"Yes sir, they were using some of the older EA-6B models but Haidao does not exactly have the pinnacle of detection technology."
"What is our counter should Jean Guy have given the AFN some foul ideas?"
"Our electronic counter counter measures are strong sir. Our sensors are already using frequency hopping since the invasion of Jazado. Aside from that we still have R-77s and R-82s that will use the jamming signal to home the craft."
"Wunderbar. Has Jazado sent word?"
"No. The AFN have declared sovereignty in the Eastern front."
Nietzsche turned to look at Baxton. Her recruit like attention made it hard for him to accept the fact that she was one of the most experienced members of the SNA at only age 36.
"Everyone who has ever built anywhere a new heaven first found the power thereto in his own hell. I trust they know what they are doing."

The four strike force operatives exited the cargo plane, which were painted in civilian insignia to avoid being downed by AFN SAM fire, not that it would matter for the operatives. The plane was stripped bare apart from the equipment necessary to complete their mission since each individual operative weighed half a ton with their Mjolnir Mark VI armor. In the night, they were to proceed to the north where a stealth dingy was prepared for their crossing into France under the cover of darkness. The small craft meant that Puncake radar would not be able to tell them apart from lost citizens or a coastal patrol boat. Two miles off the shore of France, they were to dive and proceed underwater until they reached the coast, where they were to make haste for the International Criminal Court in Paris.

If you are squeamish you may wish to avoid the first section of this post, ie the 732nd Armored Division, while it is certainly still PG-13 some discretion is advised.
732nd Armored Division
71st Expeditionary Corps
Pillowlandian Somalia

The sun had just peaked over the horizon, rays of sunshine raining down gently over the assembled forces which were massing on the border. In recent weeks the 71st and 72nd Expeditionary Corps along with the 11th Naval Assault Division had begun massing on the Cratoan border under guise of military exercises. Though the term ‘expeditionary’ in their name was a modest misnomer, as the entire military was organized for expeditionary warfare.

As such, the massive column army had been conducting exercises for the past week as the global war raged around them. The assembled 160,000 infantry and their associated armored units had been decided was enough for the initial invasion. To reinforce them the Pillowgrad military district had been ordered to mobilize advanced units for a general campaign. In total nearly one million men had been made available to the combined combat group for immediate reinforcement and another two million promised to be fully ready in a week for deployment.

The command post for the entire force, composed of two infantry regiments, an armored regiment, and various logistical and support companies, was a mass of people as they ran messages back and forth between posts with the current enforced radio silence. Furthermore several hundred tons of specialized weapons for the campaigns had been procured in order to provide extra psychological effect against the enemy. Sarin, mustard gas, white phosphorus, christmas trees, human sized hooks, several oversized christmas trees. The list seemed rather random but would fit perfectly in what HIGHCOM had internally coined, the ‘13 days of war crimes’ named such for the sheer number of operations planned to cower the populace and the days expected to capture the enemy's capital.

At 6:58am local time Major General Douglas picked up a single flare gun from his, temporary, desk and began walking of the building. The modest drive that had been cleared in front of the building was relatively empty, save for a few ATVs being used to run messages between the various commanders. Checking his watch a final time he raised his arm with the gun in hand, “May Lugh have mercy upon your heretical souls, for we won’t.” With a single pull of his finger the gun fired, a trail of bright orange as the small flare reached it’s apex and hung in the sky on its small paraglider.

The dormant forces on the border were now in action, their engines having been brought to idle before the flare, and now with men mounted and support from artillery and aircraft they began surging past the border in a race to capture and kill as many as they could.

One such example was a small border town just past the official border, a sleepy population of maybe two hundred which was take with little fight. “Citizen, exit your homes or face retribution of the highest proportions.”, the message was then repeated several times over as the townsfolk stumbled out of their homes. This part of the world was hardly christian, nor were the Pillowlandians for that matter, but a christmas tree was instantly recognizable as a total of 200 were being set up in neat rows. The soldiers around the town wore full face masks while they bluntly herded the people towards the trees. Slowly, from the inner trees out, the people were tied one by one with to the trees while parties of troops walked through dousing the entire area in fuel. When the gruesome task had finally been completed a single priest spoke over a series of mounted speakers. “Heretics, today you shall meet your maker for the heinous crimes against the Greater Good you have committed. May Lugh have mercy on your souls, for we shall not.” With a single handwave he backed away and teams of soldiers fired a series of grenades into the well doused area. The grenades in question were white phosphorus, just to ensure that the fuel took to flames. Several hours later as the flames began to dim and the dusk approached the large pit outside the town was finally dug and the ashes were bulldozed into it along with a massive portion of the town and its buildings. Once covered up the troops departed and for good measure a single high yield FOAB was dropped on the town’s remains, destroying any remaining evidence and leaving a large crater. An ONI team arrived later, planting destroyed tanks and cavadors to make it appear as a border checkpoint and official Pillowlandian maps were updated to reflect this ‘fact’.

Pillowlandia’s Legions marched onwards.

Sea Siren
ONI Clandestine Operation
Red Sea, 10km from visual horizon of CiSCO blocade

The boat was rather small for the mission at hand, only sixtey meters in length and half that in width. Onboard were several tons of high yield explosives and mounted under the waves was a crude torpedo launcher. On it lay three black market torpeods of near useless levels in most conventioal fighting. But this wouldn’t be a conventioal fight. As the man looked out at the deck of the ship the men which had just moments ago swarming over it began to clear. Several more moments and the deck was awash with fire, fueled by the carefuly built oil tanks in her hull. The mission was beginning. “SOS! SOS! This is the Sea Siren! Requesting help on all bands! Oil fire onboard, requesting assistance! I repeat, this si the Sea Siren, Oil Fire onboard! SOS!” With the message recorded, it was set to loop and the crew went about looking concerned about the fire, which they were. After all, mismanaging the controls might actually see the ship to the bottom of the ocean.

“It’s doesn’t exactly blend in with other things, it is distinctly recognizable.”

“Very well, we shall look around, very discreetly.”

The submarine sat deep in the water, below the thermocline, as its primary communication system sat on the waves inside its camouflaged box a hundred and fifty meters above the submarine. The float housed high-speed data and radio connections to connect the sub with the outside while it remained deep beneath the waves.

“Captain, orders from PACCOM. They caught an invasion force making ready in Anchorage about a day ago. Current sat images show the force left port and our SIGINT fellows are telling us they seem to be moving to rendezvous with a battle fleet of theirs.” A young ensign reported as he entered Commander Shawfords day cabin, communications printed and in hand along with a tablet showing the images captured via satellite.

“Very well, I want every relevant scrap of data downloaded for the mission. Inform the rest of the pack to do likewise and to plot a course where we won't kill each other. Approximate their location from known data and get us underway.”

“Aye aye captain, download all relevant mission data and inform the pack to do likewise. Plot course for aproxímate enemy location and make ready for interception.” With a crisp salute he left the room.

Half an hour later the gently bobbing float began sinking noiselessly, being dragged back into the submarine and its normal stowage location. Now fully hydrodynamic the subs twin pumpjets began pumping water through and accelerated the submarine to a timely 35 knots.

The fleet had long since turned its back on the last target and had now been sailing into position for its next phase of operations. Previous missions of communications jamming had extended up north more out of capability creep than purposely to jam the naval line.

The biggest threat to the fleet however was simply not knowing where the enemy was, to rectify such a situation the Commonwealth was a massive carrier, fitted with both manned craft and unmanned. It was these unmanned, long-range medium altitude long endurance, craft which would be moved into the role of discovering where the enemy vessels were. SIGINT and other methods would help but not solidly confirm location. So three dozen UAVs were launched from their vertical launch chambers into the sky and off to hunt for enemy ships while the fleet remained on high alert.

CENTER OF INTELLIGENCE, REDACTED, REDACTED

Satoshi had a lot of work to do, the successful seizure of the Suez meant many more enemies to monitor, all around the globe. It had been a while since he had last seen the sunlight, or a bed in fact. Working without break, was not unusual, many men would've died or had a breakdown before they had even gotten through half the work the head of the sector did, yet Satoshi did not yield to sleep.

The phone rang on his desk, the uncalled for timing must've meant it was not a domesitc call, picking the phone up, Satoshi listened, "This is the Minister of Foreign relations speaking," a voice rang from the other side of the phone, slightly distressed. Ah I see, so they've come to bargain. Satoshi through, slightly amused.

"What is it you wish?" Satoshi responded.

"Your forces have come and taken my canal by force! We know we can't win a war against you alone, yet we wish to work out a deal, as the Suez is imperative to keeping our economy stable."

"Hmm, well, you see, that is where we reach a wall," Satoshi replied cooly. "Our final goal is not that of simply controlling your canal, it is the domination of it. If you wish to have it back, the only way will be to pry it from our dead hands. Thank you."

He hung up, the unusual unconventional method of bartering went to show how much he actually cared for the relations between Noobia Cliffs and the Duckzchwhitz.

Back to paperwork he went.

12TH FLEET, SUEZ CANAL

It had been two hours since the bombardment had began. The enemy fleet had put up little resistance. It seemed as if the Pillowlandians were doing their part, as expected of a 1st class naval force.

"Sir, we've done flyovers, all we can see is wreckage, and our E-Sensors aren't picking up anything under the water."

"That's good, give the green light to HQ for phase two of the operation, we're far from over." Replied Admiral Yates, hands tapping his armrest in anticipation.

The missiles stopped flying through the air, as the destroyer fleets began to designate new targets around the Nile.
“Yes, sir”

The fleet picked up pace, in relentless pursuit of their prey.

AL JAWF AIRBASE

General Kamiyama hated few things, but the start-stop ride through the vast network of underground supertrains must have been one of those few things he hated. Yet, the coffee he had on the table was enough to make him happier. “Has Yates finished cleaning out the Suez?”

One of the officers turned around, “It appears the admiral has gotten control of the Suez smoothly, we’ve been given the green light for phase two.”

“Righto,” Replied the General, “Get our birds in the air, and mobilize our troops across the border, taking control of our ‘friends’ out east is imperative to strengthening our grip on the mediterranean.”

Newly built SF-93s shot into the air, making a thunderous clap as they went to their designated targets across the Nile Empire, followed by troop transport planes, carrying tanks, troops and supplies for a full scale invasion.

BORDER OF THE NILE EMPIRE, 3rd ARMY, 2nd BATTALION

“Sir, operation is ago!”

Brigadier General Howell, sat in the mobile command centre peering at the digital overlay, showing the positions of the platoons that had just deployed across the border.

The booming from the artillery units behind the initial troop position, sending projectiles flying at mach 7 to satellite designated military bases across the Nile Empire. Within minutes the empire would be blind and unable to respond to the assault, as the energy from the ballistic projectiles would pulverise anything in their path.

Howell whistled, knowing this was just the beginning to one of the largest campaigns their world would ever witness.
Let us gain absolute victory, even if we are to be sentenced to hell for it.

The Suez Canal

"Are the charges in place?" Staff Sergeant Marshall asked?
"Yes sir, all the locks and gates are ready to go on your command."

The Noobians knew that after Sudardes ceded the canal to them, it would eventually come under siege by forces that were stronger than themselves. The charges were put in place immediately after the treaties were signed. They were simple C4, packed together in an unimpressive fashion. And now was the time to use them. Marshall clicked the radio detonator. In a blinding flash of light, the canal went up in flames. This will hinder the advance of Duckzschwhitz for at least a few months.

"Salt the fields, poison the wells, scorch the earth. When we're done here, this land will be of no use to anyone." Marshall said.
"Then what?"
"There's no way out. We fight. Use any means necessary."

Somewhere in AUS

The news of what happened to the Suez arrived several hours after the assault. By the time the message finally got through, the scorched earth operation was complete. However, there were extremely heavy casualties. The Noobians were never meant to win that fight anyways, just make their opponents life harder.

12th FLEET, SUEZ CANAL

The Duckzchwhitzian fleet was not expecting that Noobia Cliffs would have done something as barbaric as placing explosives throughout the canal. Admiral Yates raised a brow, as the coasts of the canal exploded into flame, with the water bursting out due to the explosives underwater. The ships rocked, and teetered, yet did not fall. The C4 planted under and around was not nearly strong enough to even dent the hulls of the ships, let alone sink them, as the majority of the fleet was still entering the canal.

The few ships who did take the full brunt of the explosion were damaged, yet the elite mechanics were able to seal off breaches in the compartmentalized hull before the ship was compromised.

The explosions had not only deepened the Suez canal, but had widened it considerably.

Water poured in from the Mediterranean, filling in the cavaties made by the C4. "Full throttle reverse!" Ordered Yates. The ships powerful motors turned on overdrive, their power slowly, but surely pulling the ships out of the pull of the flowing water.

Getting caught in the flow may just end up beaching the fleet, we'll stay outside until the water settles.
Thought the admiral with a sigh.

The fleet retreated... For now.
Let us gain absolute victory, even if we are to be sentenced to hell for it.

Oluwafemi Oluwayemisi
Pillowlandian Diplomatic Mission
Ocsidam, Crato

Son of a diplomat, and trained from a young age for service in His Majesty's Diplomatic Service. Oluwafemi’s first name translated literally as ‘God honors me’ and his surname ‘God loves me’ in the traditional language of his native Pillowlandia, not the most inaccurate statement given his family's historical ties as among the Johgs most trusted agents and servants; in return they had been given a small wealth larger than the GDP of some states. It was only fitting after all to serve the closest beings to the Ard Rí of the higher realms.

The jet engines of the V-11 Wasp burned the compressed air as it entered the combustion chamber, mixed with fuel, and ignited as it left the chamber as a knife of fire against the sky. The sharply angled body, both for aerodynamics and stealth, cut through the air as it crossed the Red Sea from Pillowgrad towards the Cratoan capital. Crossing into the, soon to be former, sovereign airspace of the Crato nation the pilots quickly conferred with the air controllers, long since replaced by soldiers of the Pillowlandian Armed Forces, and made for a landing directly on the lawn of the nation's capital building.

As the engines of the Wasp rotated vertically, their thrust output declined gently until the plane made contact with the ground. Assembled on the lawn was a sold line of security fencing manned by members of the 712th Security Battalion instead of local police. The rapid and unconditional surrender had been a surprise to Pillowlandian strategists who had expected at least enough resistance to hold them from the capital until the 13th day of operations. Yet, they had managed to take the capital and the entire nation by just the second day, the surrender had caused a bubble of surrender memes made in reference to the Crato government.

The rear ramp began to lower, the interiors black CC construction contrasting sharply with its pearl white exterior interrupted only by the same emblem found on the Pillowlandian flag in a grey monocolor. Descending the ramp were three men of distinctly central african origin, two were equipped with jet black armor plates and combat masks over their black fatigues. Slung over their shoulders were CR-4 rifles, one was configured for close range fights and the other medium to long. Yet, in the center of it all was Oluwafemi himself, dressed simply in a navy blue suit, blue silk shirt, and cheerful tie of geometric patterns. Taken in with his polished shoes he put off an air of wealth, very old wealth and power.

Yet, the most striking of his attire was not his tailored suit but the blazing medallion he wore. Polished to a shine it was only slightly larger than most lapel pins. It had the Pillowlandian emblem, each of the five stars made of increasingly rare gemstones on a 24 karat gold plate with a red diamond making up the centermost star representing the Armed Republic and the Church. The Pillow was made of four quadrants, each a rare gemstone originating from somewhere in the Commonwealth except for the upper right. That section on this particular pin was Alexandrite, representing the highest echelons of the Royal Diplomatic Service. As any other pin, it indicated the wearer's authority drawn from the Johgs family and their protection. To harm a person wearing one a pin was to sign them and their families death warrant.

On the opposite side of the security fence and now landed plane stood roughly three-hundred and twenty legislators of the nation. Each had been given an ‘option’ to be present for the arrival of the Pillowlandia for a formal greeting as armed soldiers stood around ensuring that no one got any smart ideas.

Once Oluwafemi had been escorted in the various local legislators were allowed to return to the building once more, the soldiers remained outside as the interior was already swarming with several platoons of soldiers in anticipation of the upcoming ´negotiations´. So the legislators were guided into the chamber, along with their president and his key staff.

Half an hour after arriving Oluwafemi took the floor, the rooms whispers falling to a silence as he placed a single long manuscript upon a table. ¨Greetings from Pilowlandia. Twenty-seven hours ago my government began a military offensive against your government. Twenty-three hours ago your government surrendered unconditionally. As such, these shall be your terms of peace. I will save everyone's time by informing you that it is not optional to sign nor will there be any debate about it, you may read it as you approach to sign.” With that statement he walked away, quickly engrossing himself in conversation with several men in dark black suits and sunglasses.

The leader, or... The tribal leaders looked at the manuscript which that...Ugh...man gave."So, 'tis the treaty eh?" said Jacob Dennevis.
"Indeed it is."
"So, uh, what do we do with it exactly?"
"Are you stupid? YOU JUST FUCKING READ THE DAMNED PAPERS AND SIGN THE FUCKING THING! YOU NEANDERTHAL!"
"Hell, what is wrong with him?"
"He, uh, has anger issues."
"Right, let's read the thing already."

Then...

"Are you serious!? We can't do this! It's way too HARSH!"
Her sudden screaming made everyone flinch.
"So what? We can't do anything about it. Besides, i have seen worse then that."
"Wait, we just sign?"
"Sounds like that."

When everyone signed, each and every one of them had bad thoughts.

What will become of our home?
Will we be ever free again?
They will pay.

IC
Seoul, Korea, 10:10 PM
The war of attrition waged on Confedracy by the SNA in Korea had beautiful effects. At first, it seems that the five million invasion force was unstoppable. Now, as intel began flowing in from moles in the Confedrate government, it became clear that their foe was not as formidable as they looked. With Sudardesian military spending out pacing Confedracy's entire GDP, it became obvious that the SNA can overwhelm the Confedrate army when ever they wanted.

Korea was put under temporary Confedrate military junta, with the regime applying its oppressive domestic policies abroad. Unwarranted searches and seizures, destruction of private property, public beatings, executions, humiliation were all ingrained in the disgusting fascist culture the Confedracy brought with them. Needless to say, as one of the most armed populace in the region, the Sudardesians would not stand for such governmental overreach. Resistance pockets popped up here and there across the country, attacking patrolling soldiers or sabotaging equipment. This only led to a doubling down of incredibly harsh policy. No matter, with civilian unrest and active moves by the SNA, the logistics chain of the Confedracy slowly wasted away.

Now it was time for the SNA to act. For a week, they will don their uniforms for the first time and use their vehicles to attack and destroy mercilessly the Confedrate troops. It was not long when the remaining two million, out gunned and out classed surrendered to the SNA. Orders from the top were very clear however, the Confedracy need to be sent a message. All captured were to be shot. Then in an infamous night that will go down in Sudardesian history, the prisoners were systemically executed by a mix of troops and civilians. The SNA were to round up at the Chinese border, with divisions spread throughout Korea, and prepare for a counter attack into the AFN occupying China.

IC
Pusan, Korea 1:00 AM
Two million soldiers from Japan landed in the South. The were reinforcements. For the next few days, they will be making their way up to the border to rendezvous with the rest of the SNA in Asia. This left about a million SNA soldiers in Japan. Along with the reinforcements were more armored vehicles and aircraft as well as radar and anti air equipment. A long list of plans have already been drawn up in the warrooms in Japan, both for the Eastern and Western fronts. Undoubtably, they will most likely all be military successes.

IC
Sudardes-Ace Newhauland Border, Mexico, 2:12 AM
It would have been stupid to send tactical bombers to destroy key industrial locations when they could be appropriated for Sudardesian use in the near future. Instead, the majority of aircraft deployed into Newhauland were interceptors and tactical close air support craft. Radar guided SAMs would have been a problem if Newhauland had any radar facilities left. But after the Sudardesian pre-strike months ago, they had to rely on their minuscule air force. Underfunded and undertrained, their pilots would be no match against the SNAF who would quickly pry control of the skies. From there, the SNMC will begin moving their three million troops inland. To protect against fortified positions and turrets, the SNAF would be conducting tactical bombings of defensive positions.

From the ocean, the West Brasilistani and Pillowlandian navies fired barrage upon barrage of 50cm shells into their costal fortifications while innumerable amphibious landing craft made for the West coast of Newhauland. From the South, West Brasilistani troops along the border mobilized as well. The strategy was similar to that in the North, two pronged, mechanized infantry and armor with air superiority and artillery support. The Sudardesian-West Brasilistani side of operations were to be overseen by SNMC General of the Armies Roger Patton. The green light was given and Operation MAGA was a go.

IC
War room in Shapiron, Japan, 2:39 AM
"When was the last time you got some sleep?" Nietzsche asked Baxton as she yawned loudly.
"Give or take fourty eight hours." She replied, rubbing her eyes.
"Alright. Get some sleep on the plane. You're going to the peace conference." Nietzsche stated, getting up from the table. Patton could be heard yelling commands into a radio, eyes glued to a map of Ace Newhauland.
"I'm going to what?" She asked, suddenly rising from her stupor.
"The peace conference. They want a cease fire. You'll be there not to negotiate a truce but to meet our allies in person, namely the Pillowlandian delegate. You must be diplomatic. Try to convince them to do something that will give us a tactical advantage."
"Why are you not going, sir?" Baxton asked, puzzled.
"You have a charm about you that will be advantageous in this particular scenario. I need to direct national affairs from here." Nietzsche responded, moving to the cappuccino machine. "Coffee?"
"Yes please." Baxton leaned back in her chair. "When do I leave?"
"You'll be leaving in three hours." Nietzsche said. "Milk and sugar?"
"I need to go and wash up to get ready. May I use the staff locker rooms on the second sub level, sir?"
"No," Nietzsche stopped preparing coffee. "Go home Elizabeth. Pack your things an unwind for a while. You've done a huge service to your country already. I'll have an elite ranger squad pick you up in two."

Baxton walked out of the bunker onto the streets outside. It was very quiet, not the usual bustle of cars, after all, the attempted Confedrate invasion was just days ago. No one felt safe. No one will feel safe. No one will be safe. That is of course, unless this war was to come to a close.

James Matthew
Commonwealth Integration Office
Ocsidam, Crato

Hetriowu. Redbonjen. Kongoga. Favilonw. Kachawak. Wollip. Mongong. The seven tribes which made up the formally independent Cratoan state. Of course they had nominal independence still, still met the requirements for being a sovereign state even if its rights were being modestly more than restricted. Following the signing of the treaty the building which had been the Pillowlandian Embassy turned occupation headquarters turned transition office was a beehive of both civil and military activity. Firmly guarded by multiple battalions of men and armor not even mentioning the forces which were enforcing martial law upon the capital city. Yet, even as the hordes of civil servants from Pillowlandian, a hallmark of the Pillowist bureaucracy, descended upon the nation to become everything from monitors and tax collectors to military advisors and intelligence agents.

¨Thank you arriving so quickly Oluwafemi, with the treaty signed we have the legal prerogative to begin operations to liberate these barbarians of anything resembling functional military equipment. From what data we have already pulled from their archives indicates that they somehow had something approaching a decently national laboratory system. I assume you have already received the blessing from the Church for us to deploy and seize the facilities.”Began James, having bowed respectfully towards the high ranking diplomat.

Oluwafemi nodded, ¨Indeed, we have received authorization for field testing the new PCA-XH01c armor. We will have three teams for securing the network as soon as we get the information from the rest of the government archives.”

¨What about the Kiritoians? Have they yielded to our challenge yet?¨

¨No, I am anticipating orders to move there shortly. If the military doesn’t take control almost as quickly as we against these Barbarians I would be surprised. Though, they are pure of race and might pose a greater challenge. In any case I have a plane to catch, the other ‘powers’ wish to have talks of a end to the war. Though i doubt it will actually be a productive series of talks, His Majesty has requested my presence at them.”

2nd Squad
His Imperial Majesty’s Special Operations Guard
Harboweisac National Research Station, 42 miles northwest of Ghrandoia

The V-11 Wasp cut through the air like a knife, its jet black exterior a stark contrast to the blue sky around it and the sandy desert below it. Inside held a squad of just six men; the staff sergeant, his assistant, three riflemen, and a squad gunner. They were heading to Harboweisac, government archives deep in the Cratoan capital had indicated that it and several other laboratories around the nation had been covertly researching into developing military grade carbon nanotubes. If the lab managed to destroy its research or transmit it to their ‘allies’ within CiSCO.

Now though, the Wasp had begun its descent, carefully at a trajectory which would land them in their LZ and provide enough power in the craft to evade any fire until they were already on the ground if they had to. As the craft touched down the ramp lowered and the men exited. Each was wearing jet black armor, not unlike that which Oluwafemis honor guard had been wearing. In turn the men of the squadron were all equipped with the CR-04 assault rifles which were ubiquitous with the Pillowlandian military. With a few hand signals they advanced upon the nondescript compound and its guard box at the gate.

With a soft hiss of air a half dozen bullets speed down range, punching through the glass and straight through the head of the single guard. Moments later the team was inside the compound and advancing quickly upon its secrets. A trail of dead and wounded guards lay behind them as they went deeper into the facility. Finally they came upon the well concealed laboratory.

Gesturing their rifles at the scientists they spread out into the room quickly. ¨What is the purpose of this facility?” asked the squad leader as two of his men moved to secure the computers. ¨You work for us now.¨

Oluwafemi Oluwayemisi
Pillowlandian Diplomatic Mission
Dublin, Landium

The V-11 cut through the air, it had been fueled for a flight from the new Federal Republic of Crato all the way to Dublin and back to Rome if something occurred that required an immediate leave. But in any case, Oluwafemis flight was being preceded by a Pillowlandian tanker craft which would supply fuel on the grounds for security reasons. Additionally a cargo plane carrying a modest quick reaction team, past events had ensured this a necessity, and ground crew which would assemble a modest awning to cover the two A18T-Ls which would were escorting the plane from overhead satellite viewing. As even now, several years after entering service taking any image or video of them at a resolution greater than 480p was prohibited and carried the penalty of death.

In any case, he arrived with little fanfare at the de Valera international airport. A simple motorcade took him to the campus. As he entered the hall he glanced around and warmly greeted each nations delegate in turn. Finally, taking his seat he began speaking to all assembled. ¨Firstly, I would like to thank our wonderful hosts here in Landium for their generosity in offering a common table for these talks as well as thanking all of you for your timely arrival. Now, before we get to the serious matters of attempting to negotiate a permanent peace I suggest we agree to a modest ceasefire until lasting from twelve hours after being agreed upon to at least the day after christmas, any objections?”
