I was thinking starting with a possible international incident such as an assassination/attemted assassination, terrorist attack, sinking of a ship, crashed air plane, spies discovered, etc. Thoughts? Also joining the Discord wouldn't be a terrible idea either

So this is the basica overview of the nations involved thus far-

Well Sweden's always someone to play around with. Besides being the original creater of this group, his country has become quite unstable. Both of his leaders have developed cases of PTSD, and the government itself is quite unstable as well. So using them as part of an incident won't be hard. Although they have become quite paranoid, so they might be unlikely to get involved in a war.

IoA has changed sides since the beginning of the Cold-War/Kursip Wars and now seems to favor Sweden. They have a decent navy, although nowhere near as large or powerful as mine. They seem to fill a more supportive role to Sweden, acting as a deterent for military actions to be made on Sweden. But simularly to Sweden they do not wish to get easily involved in a war.

Chinevion, is someone I haven't RPed with for a while so these facts might be outdated. They were a realtively new nation, having gained indepence from Ardvillia due to foreign aid. They do not have the largest military and have stayed out of international activities for the most part. They are mainly democratic and have aligned themselfs with nations such as NUC, due partly to the fact they helped with their indepence. They are very pariotic, although Nationalist might be too strong of a word. Thus they will be willing to defends themselfs to last man, but might not help in a foreign conflict.

Skyhooked's facts are simular to Chinevion. They are a realtively smaller nation, who for the most parts seems to stay neutral. They are a much more relaxed nation, with a military formed mainly of Militia members. They would most likely not take part in foreign military operations for this reason and would also be pretty ineffective. They are however a well known trader of goods.

Adrvillia, was once a powerful nation, but has found itself on the losing end of many wars. The most devistating would be the Ardvillian War of Agression, which ended in them losing much of their territory. They still remian upset about the lose of their territory and hold a grudge against the nation of Kustgebied because of previous wars. Its likely that they could become militaristic once agan or even plot agianst Kustgebied. It wouldn't be terribly hard to convince them to be part of a war, espically against Kustgebied.

Kustgebied, is one of the more powerful players, having an empire.collection of nations that stretch out over vast portions of land. That being said they are made of different cultures, thus making order through peace hard to maintain. But this allows them to have a large military, somewhat stretched over many area, relying mostly on land forces.

Orostan, is another large power, having quite a large territory that is based in a central location, gives them lots of influence over many of the other countries. They are very patriotic, simular to Chinevion and hold one of the largest immediat armies. They have become less agressive in past years but keep a watchful eye out over the region. Being effected by the Adrviliian War of Agression(AWA) they show a limited grudge against Ardvillia.

NUC, has grown into a power player over the past years, expanding their military tenfold. Although possessing few land positions withing the region they still have one of stringest influences. This is largely due to the size and power of their navy, as well as their ability to deploy quickly. In past years they have become more of a peace keeping force in the region, being unbaised and having the ability to cause most other militaries to stand down. They have mixed thoughs about most countries in the Region, yet share a close alliance with Orostan

Alliances

The EDF is an alliance formed by the nations of Sweden and IoA. It brings message of global unity, and tries to act simular to NUC as a peace keeper. They have a decent sized military between both Sweden and IoA, outnumber some nations withing the region. However neither member shows the agressivness needed to keep the peace and the EDF is reluctant to get invloved in the disputes of nations

CSTA(Kering Pact). CSTA or Central Strategic Treaty Alliance is a newer form of the Kering Pact founded by Orostan. The members within are bound to a code of Mutal Defense and nations such as Orostan and NUC are major members that form it. It is a rival to the EDF for the most part as CSTA helps members grow and develope, it also helps them gain world influence, something the EDF often sees as a threat

That is so far correct, our nation is tech focused and in foreign combat we never send our main army unless it is vital rather we prefer to use our strong special forces to aid. Also which alliance am I in I forget

Well while we wait for the RP to be fully fleshed out, how about we talk about what goes on in our minds? For example, I found out that I love to think up Ultra Mega Death unicorns and take long walks along the beaches of totally peaceful Keemstar run North Korea and also have sexual thoughts about just licking and eating peanut butter.

Also you are right about my country but the EDF is half right. The EDF was also formed to help the world in times of crisis such as a conflict threatening multiple regions or a rogue state that has crossed the line, alien invaders, ect. So yes other than being a bit close to the purpose of the EDF, i l'd say good job.

NUC, by the way, Chinevion was actually independent before the Aethran War, but Adevia (who wrote the peace treaty ending the Aethran War) sneaked a clause into the treaty that Chinevion would become part of Adevia.

i have pretty much retconned my entire history into becoming a multicontinental superstate, meaning any war against adevia never happened. member states prosper under a loose confederation, and there are no real independence movements because kustgebied is more of a case an intergovernmental organisation with a fair amount of power rather than a federation of states similar to the U.S, Australia, or Russia.

(there's also one overall kustburger ethnic identity which helps with the idea)

military is primarily located on the three continents, though our maritime forces are one of the most funded branches. the ground forces are largely irrelevant though large in size due to the concentration of our non-three continents member states focusing on the aerial forces and ground forces.

Why not go off my original 2nd Cold War RP? That kept the original lore intact even though it now made Kustgebied an enemy since he was the crown I think of oppression and human rights abuse. That might be an option but don't worry. The path is that all conflicts that led to nuclear war or something were resolved with peace but I have a feeling we want a new story don't we?

I know that President Perez being killed needs to be removed from canon, since Krusip godmodded when he said the plane was in his airspace. And the peace treaty that ended the war that your President was killed in also needs to change, since it was too baised towards Kustgebied. And Kustgebied's part needs to be given to someone else. I've also joined the Discord.
