Harker had moved Company A, to the main road, leading to the town. They had been ordered to move forward, and under no circumstance turn back. A few of the 36th Riflemen, lied upon the hill to the right, ready to give supporting fire, if combat was to ensue.

Harker ordered Company A to halt, and told them of his plan...

"Oi, Company A, advance. Once we reach 10 paces, wing to my flanks, I'll be in center. Once we reach the gates, form a V formation, we have to block their gates. Right, let's go lads." Harker said

Quickly, A Company formed column and marched up the road, 10 paces in, they formed to the right and left flanks of Harker, then formed a V when they reached the wall. The front wall of the town was blocked off, however, sentries kept watch, however, with confusion. They took their bows, and in panic started planning something. Their bowstrings were strung ready to fire on Company A, however, they stood still, observing the Norcourtians.

"My name is Captain Richard Harker, of the Norcourtian Army. And you are?" He asked. Obviously, the natives didn't understand what he said. They looked at each other, spoke a distinct native language, then left their positions. Minute after minute, hour after hour, they didn't return...

Manticore's intelligence agency, the Secret Service, decided that they needed to learn all they could about Skarten and Arengin. Thus, it was decided that they would pose as Sheepish and Sylbanian refugees. They would be deployed in small teams, a man and a woman each, in an attempt to gain information. The women were chosen for their skills as well as their feminine attributes. The men were chosen solely for their skills. Manticoran Naval Forces on Sunday would meet couriers every few weeks to collect Intel and pass it on to the High Command. Many details still needed to be worked out but the first operatives were being prepared for their missions.

The Secret Service was making headway in their plans to infiltrate Arengin and Skarten. Several teams had been selected and were learning the Sheepish and Sylbanian languages. In addition, suppressors had been requisitioned from Eakan merchants and were being modified to fit the self-loading Model 1889s as well as short barrel versions of the Baker Automatic Rifle.

Occupied Sheepish

After the Arenginian forces had squashed most military remnants life in Arenginian Sheepish was more or less stable. A new army had been made to protect the region. The 20th regional army, assigned to the new land. 100,000 soldiers in total to patrol the major Sheepish towns which were still crawling with resistance groups that would use terrorist tactics.

Some cities like St. Barr, New Candre, Faloin and other had been secured and had minimal military presence. The people of these cities had accustomed to Arenginian laws. They still had schools in their language but teachers had to teach Arengin history, and language. For the most part people lived calmly, they rather live in harmony under new reign than fight any longer and destroy their children's life.

Still it was an uneasy tranquility. Anything or anyone could shatter it.

The Rain began to fall, the dirt turned to mud and the air grew colder. The 1st army marched into the camp, setting up extra tents as they came in. Officers began rounding up the Aclusian soldiers who had survived the siege of Veice and those who were garrisoned in the camp. Captain Leron reported in front of Major Adam Wells. When Major Adams eyes laid upon Captain Leron he slapped the man with his glove due to his cowardice at Veice, Leron reeled back and stood at attention in front of Adams, holding back his anger as Adams ripped off a stripe off his right arm and took the captains medallion off his neck. He then saluted Leron and directed him to a truck that would be taking the non-useful soldiers home.

The Aclusian batteries set themselves up next to the camp and began to load their shells, the Landships began to set themselves up in 2 rows, 110 in 1 row stretching the frontline, 110 behind them. the offensive would start once the entente troops from Skarten, and Arengin arrive.

Soldiers drink and fuck regardless of the army they are in and when soldiers mix alcohol with sex, prostitutes and barkeeps make excellent spies. In addition, no one questioned the shotguns the barmen/spies brought with them. Drunken brawls were not uncommon occurrences and barkeeps couldn't always rely on law enforcement to arrive before someone got killed.

In addition, agents posing as Warglorian and Roman businessmen began to broker deals with smugglers in Afrikaan and other places. The agents would pay the smugglers handsomely to sneak arms into Arengin and, later, Skarten territory. These arms would then be hidden in the countryside, waiting for the proper moment. In addition, other agents were becoming fluent in Warglorian, to become instigators of a revolt against Arengin with the overt promise of Warglorian aide.

A second plan was occurring in Warglorian occupied Sheepish. Agents posing as refugees from Arengin territory would pose as barkeeps and prostitutes in Wargloria to gain influence over military personnel and local politicians and agents posing as Arengin and Skarten businessmen would seek to smuggle arms into Warglorian occupied Sheepish while other agents would become Arengin or Skarten instigators, seeking to whip up resentment for Warglorian occupation and promising Arengin and Skarten help.

With any luck, a war between the Entente and the Imperium would breakout and Manticore would be able to maintain her neutrality behind a steel wall of ships, machine guns, artillery, and mines.

Though a defence force of over 110,000 seems very formidable, Warglorian scouts have recorded seeing around 400,000 Entente Soldiers ready for an offensive. Victory seemed bleak, however the Warglorian Army will fight to the last man if it has to, plus, the Warglorians, unlike the Arenginians, whose defences were minimal, and the Aclusians, whose defences were exhausted, the Warglorians had time to prepare massive amounts of defences.

The Warglorians had bunkers, machine gun positions, trenches, barbed wire, dragon's teeth (basically huge rocks that stop vehicles and artillery from getting through), mines, artillery positions, support from the vehicles, and more. The city itself has also been fitted with defences such as fortifications, sandbags, machine guns at choke points, traps. If the Entente attack, their blood will fill enormous pools across the field.

Bunker (Simply because it's wooden doesn't mean it's easy to catch on fire or anything, artillery will find it hard to penetrate through bunkers like these, so don't go all "it's wood so it caught on fire and hurki durk", no!)

To stop this,they decided to make that all Ports are to have A Quantity of Law Enforcement personell, with none less than Total loyalty to Skarten, to prevent Bribes. After Norcourt had liberated Goldrush, many (however not all), were happy of their new freedoms. They were no longer under subject to the terrors of Communism. Many men, aged 20 to 40, enlisted in the Norcourtian Army, as war with Eodor loomed on the horizon. Rifles were being handed out left to right, along with some colonial uniforms. Pith helmets were a common sight, as it was to show that they were colonial soldiers. Some, couldn't get the helmets, and had to use simple woolen caps. 120,000 men enlisted at first, each being separated to their own appropriate divisions and regiments.
Howitzers, machine guns, mortars, were deployed on the outskirts of the cities. As Moscow was already near-Eodorian control, fear was striking the citizens.
