This is the OOC thread pertaining to the multiple uprisings currently present in the nation of Die erworbenen Namen.

Chaos in the Capital!

For the first time in decades, in the early morning of July 18, 2016, Hochburg and two other cities heard sirens scream in the sky. In Hochburg, around 2 AM in the morning, citizens were abruptly awakened by war sirens coming from the Red Armory on the western part of the city. The sirens were followed by two explosions as the police station nearby was destroyed, as well as gunfire. Reports have been flooding into the media of a large scale, multiple pronged attack by an unknown force in three of the cities: Hochburg, Tetrarch, and Kursk, all on the mainland.

In Hochburg, gunfire and explosions from the west side of the city have been reported, and numerous War Sirens have been set off by what appears to be besieged soldiers. The Red Armory has been confirmed as being under attack, and unconfirmed reports of light armor taking to the streets have been heard.

In Tetrarch, one airport in the south was quickly overrun by an unknown, cooperative force. The citizens inside have been held hostage, and multiple police officers have been confirmed killed. Reports that the airport also housed Army helicopters and jets, as well as light armor and cars, have been confirmed, and the army units there have been cornered in the barracks.

In Kursk, one of two Panzer Armories have been quickly and swiftly overrun, leading to unconfirmed reports of heavy armor and artillery taking to the streets. The city capital has been confirmed as being under attack, and the media station there has been overrun and destroyed.

Despite all this action, no one has been able to confirm the identity of the attackers, although the Military believes that Donnish and Ex Modeno leaders and soldiers have cooperated together, helped by Novaya Equestria, to weaken DEN from the inside.

Reports have been flooding into the media of a large scale, multiple pronged attack by an unknown force in three of the cities: Hochburg, Tetrarch, and Kursk, all on the mainland.

Reports have indeed been confirmed that the attackers are remnants of the old Wolf Clan, as well as what appears to be the terrorist group the Democratic Republic of Hochburg, a radical extremist group supporting the disbandment of DEN, religion, capitalism, and donnish oversight. The report came as soon as the first retreating units came in, as well as from the shouts of "FREE DEN" being screamed. While the numbers are unknown, reports indicate it could be upwards of ten thousand members in total, making this the largest attack on DEN since the Wolf Clan's civil war. This sudden emergence of Cultists, along with the scale of the attack, has drawn the USS to deploy the entire Imperial Capital Guard to the Capital. The Emperor has confirmed that the entirety of the SS has been mobilized to deal with this threat in a sudden, but vicious, search and lockdown.

"I was there over thirty years ago when the country was torn in twain. I was at the front. I know the dangers of this clan, and I will not let them win. I will not let them escape. All five divisions of the SS have been mobilized in response to this threat. They have been given full jurisdiction over the entirety of the United Socialist States. Any rebels will be hunted down and executed on the spot. We will survive." The Emperor said in response to the uprising.

Hochburg has now been under attack for more than six hours, and the Capital Guard has been deployed in both defensive and offensive positions. While enemy light armor has been confirmed, including the addition of IFVs and APCs, reports that the SS will be bringing in the four SS Panzer divisions, including their light tanks, have not been confirmed. The Red Armory has currently been seized by the DRH, and while not actually completely secured by the DRH, has been a target for the SS. We expect heavy fire there.

Tetrarch's military/civilian airport has been lost, and reports that over three thousand soldiers are advancing further into the city have been heard. Currently, the two companies of air force personnel there have been on the run, and are reported to be engaging in multiple firefights with DRH patrols. The light vehicles and artillery have also begun to move, and are in the process of attacking next checkpoint.

Kursk has been quiet, with the current report is that the DRH has retreated to the forests. The Army is getting ready to move in to recon and corner the enemy forces.

• There's no official app. I trust all of you. It would be appreciated if you gave some sort of ORBAT for your forces before deploying them, though.

The plan is to have no plan. Voy wants DEN to declares war. And if I'm correct, this takes place during EOF. So there's basically 24 Hours left before zero hour.

Alright. In a nutshell, we have a thing back from the 1920's called the Osterrech Doctrine. This doctrine basically means that we're supposed to hate socialist and communist nations. DEN is a socialist nation. If I'm not mistaken the Revolutionary forces want to get rid of socialism and establish some sort of fascist dictatorship. We view DEN as a menace to the world. We view the URA as a menace to the world.

Kons does not like socialism. Like, at all. He's okay with Kruchan socialism because Kruchan socialism actually works. But he doesn't like regular socialism. And he views death as preferable to communism. Which means he's supporting the Wolf Clan.

Hmm, WPT puts me in an awkward position.

FAP is vehemently opposed to oppressive regimes, fascist and communist. Both these sides seem to support one or the other. Unless, of course, DEN isn't an oppressive communist regime. There's also the consideration that his assistance may be necessary in EoF. So it's up to him to convince me that I should help him.

Either way, my participation would be limited entirely to reconnaissance and patrol forces.

DEN is a socialist nation. If I'm not mistaken the Revolutionary forces want to get rid of socialism and establish some sort of fascist dictatorship. We view DEN as a menace to the world. We view the URA as a menace to the world.

Kons does not like socialism. Like, at all. He's okay with Kruchan socialism because Kruchan socialism actually works. But he doesn't like regular socialism. And he views death as preferable to communism. Which means he's supporting the Wolf Clan.

What "works" is of no concern to me. It is the people that matter. Do they have freedom of speech, press, and expression? Is the judicial system fair? These are the issues I must weigh, not whose economic policy rakes in the most profit.

Whilst the Portean military is gearing up for an invasion of Donner Land, there are a handful of assets available to deal with this situation. Most of the invasion force is Marines and Navy anyhow. While our position on DEN is neutral, we'd prefer a stable nation to work with. I'd rather not have yet another unhinged dictatorship rampage about Helsa.
