In a sudden change of nature, The Turmenistanian Ministry of Defense, previously announcing its allegiance to the HARMONY program with Atarashi, has suddenly announced its neutrality in light of the American intent to force the Federation into neutrality. While Slavistan has closed off the Zugspitze rift to outsiders, a permanent naval task force Battlegroup has been stationed offsite of the Fiji rift to assume a temporary watch. Turnenista has assumed its "Historic Neutral" foreign policy for the time being following its sudden suspension of the HARMONY program, and reinstatement of the TRINITY pact with the following additions:

• All Travel going in and going out of the "Alliance" rifts are to be fully evaluated to limit the possible terrorist activity
• Unless the conflict directly endangers the Federation and/or its territories, Turmenista will not be intervening in any inter-rift conflicts.
• Technological advancement is to come from the TRINITY nation powers, as opposed to HARMONY.
• All relations with powers outside of the rifts are to be considered "neutral until further notice"
• Turmenista will not favor or support any sides in any conflict (unless the safety of the Federation is at risk)

In unrelenting news, Turmenistanian scientists from the Arcadia institute of technology have begun drafting plans for a new platform of mobile weapons. Building off of a tank or wheeled armored vehicle's inability to go where infantry can go, the projects, codenamed "WALKMAN", "SICKLE", and "BWP", are all plans for an infantry-portable and pilot-able autonomous weapons system, multi-legged crowd control/reconnaissance vehicle, and a prototype "long range heavy weapons platform", respectively. While the last two projects are still in development, project WALKMAN is in the testing phase, and a live test is yet to come. Rumor has it that the alleged "Shark" mercenary group may be assisting with the testing.

Roberts and his small diplomatic entourage, which he has come to refer to in informal circles as "The Mystery Tour", have made a diversion from their scheduled route to the USSR and China. With the USSR and China having already approved the prospect of embassies, the priority in visiting them has decreased. This stop in particular was intended to make introductions to the smaller nations of the world, propose embassies, and state a few facts and concerns. The West Berlin Conference had, overall, gone rather well. Embassies were confirmed to be accepted with countries in Europe, and Roberts was expecting more to be established with the rest of the world in the coming days. Ambassador Padma Nagarkar, one of the two ambassadors that went along with Roberts, had a speech for the conference addressing concerns in 2058 and beyond.

It is truly an honor and privilege to be the first diplomats of the AD01 Universe to establish proper ties with another. It may be something taken for granted far too often, but our interconnection, committed in levels never seen before, is awe inspiring. Marvels like the internet and organizations like the United Nations, for us now the Cobalt Coalition, have enabled people from literally the other side of the world to be face to face. To discuss on an international forum. To realize that people from around the world are indeed our fellow man, and to grow closer together in a united world. It would be wrong, however, to deny that this increased interconnection has not come without its vices. People on the other side of the world are exploited for the fruits of slave labor. The increase in global speech and ways to connect to each other have ironically caused opposing opinions to clash in ways we had not seen as possible. It is wrong to say we were in an imperfect world beforehand, but these feats in globalization, and now a uniting multiverse, also serve to remove our rose tinted glasses.

We will also begin the process of establishing proper diplomatic missions within 2058's various connected universes. This, of course, leads me to the need to address the elephant in the room. Let it be known that the Cobalt Coalition has noticed the increase in hostilities between those within 2058 and certain neighboring universes. As a matter of concern, we will continue to watch the situation carefully as it unfolds. I want to make some points clear. Adainia, and the entirety of the Cobalt Coalition, have no intentions at intervening in this conflict by force. This is not our situation, and we intend to keep it that way. We intend to not take sides, either. This is a situation that we are not fully educated about, and if there is something we know, its that war is never an issue with solidified and moral sides. But our recommendation is that both sides find a way to end their qualms through diplomacy and politics. We know for a fact that war can be devastating. Foreign Affairs directly speaking on behalf of the government that the country has not committed any acts of atrocities for the past few months. The arrival of RCO diplomats allowed them to be granted access to public, service and key government information as they were requested. Folia Katayanagi said that despite her immortality, she remained abide to the Atarashian constitution, and unless forced when the MAAA nations decide to take action into their own hands, she has only two term limits to serve within the country. But she denied that Atarashi is the aggressor, and claimed that a third party under the US Government is pulling a series of strings that attempted to destablize the country. Though such accusations are too hard to believed in, and even with evidence as part of the aftermath of Operation: Blackblair, it did not simply stood enough. She did not state that America is the aggressor, as the country itself was likely played by the Thirteen Horsemen. Likely because the US Government did not clarify that whether they were supporting the organization enough. The APSF Division on the Eastern Rift, was distanced away from the rift itself as requested. China's entry was first viewed by the international body as an act of aggression, but later statements given by them allowed entry of the force under circumstances that they should not deal with any affairs but the Sotoan crisis. The public only then blamed the Osean Federation, as they decided to re-ignite tensions with the government that Atarashi recognized and supported by means of sabotage, clandenstine operations and money laundering.

Evans ordered the revision of War Plan Purple to maintain the War Plan's accurate proximity to the present situation. As such, the Pacific order of battle was briefly revised and updated. Evans also ordered the commencement of internal investigations against the so-called 'Thirteen Horsemen', a decision he backed by giving a press conference on the same day, in which he simply said:

"The United States does not condone terrorist attacks - be them scapegoats of foreign governments or insiders of the American political elite. By the time the Aurelian-Atarashian Task Force was formed, and a decisive Sino-American force is putting up the biggest guns they have available. The lack of such advantages that the FoF needed was already taking it's toll.

When word of another Fleet of Fog Task Force was destroyed in the Ceres Ocean, and the Oseans had likely destroyed another from the North, the oceans that humanity once ventured would be again, polluted by their pointless desires of survival. The Fleet of Fog wanted something personally from the nation itself. Their goals were clear, it wanted to resource a mineral that the country had for a long time, violated for hiding rare earth elements. Without a proper home port, any battered ships would have to rely on forward operation bases on the captured islands in the Pacific, and make use of the resources they have on their supply ships. The loss of a large number of Battleships put a strain on the capabilities of the FoF to a greater extent. And with their forces now focused on the Pacific Theater, their submarine fleets continued to hunt down their Chinese counterparts, to which Chinese losses these days are still rising up. Followed by a series of missile attacks on their fleets to weaken their strategic placement on the UFNA world.

Though, with Korona Atoll secured, it needed a few more islands to take before the FoF is closer before it begins it's massive attacks on the Industri Archipelago and the Eastern Rift that connects the two rampant worlds from apart. The Third Fleet set sails with it's swarming number of Destroyers and Submarines. While the Fifth Fleet remained to defend the territories they have taken close to Sotoan Waters. The defense line remained to be powerful, not allowing even the farthest Chinese ship to set sail, and the airspace is contested by a series of dogfights between the two sides.

The busy representative from Foreign Affairs, speaking on behalf of the country's government, speaks before the press both domestic and international.

"We're close in having the country destabilized with events like these. As the world beyond the rift continues to see the Federal Republic as the aggressor, we mind you that we remain innocent from all the events that had unfolded, and only done what we have to do to save the country from attacks like these. We do not play victim however, and be forced to aim our weapons straight to the nations that threatens the existence of the Federal Republic. When we condemned the United States due to their possibility of supporting the Thirteen Horsemen, we knew what their response would be. They would call it a slanderous lie, something that makes us look fools to them. The Foreign Intelligence Agency had already confirmed that the Thirteen Horsemen are indeed, working behind the eyes and ears of the government. With high ranking politicians and military officials to be part of the said organization, and allowed such things to be slipped anytime they want. The American Government is not to be at fault here, but their inability to remain aware and keeping an eye on their activities caused them to be at fault here, and therefore a proper state to be called an aggressor. The Federal Republic does not see itself as the one worsening the relations of the two countries, and will never do so. We allowed the Chinese and their allies beyond the rift to conduct operations whatever they like in Sotoa, as long as they do not interfere with any other affairs. Be that from ours or other corners of the world. The attempt of the unknown armada to lock the rift between the UFNA and TESU was stopped by allied forces. As for the issue whether Osea did really sabotage and caused insanity across the Republic of Sotoa, that's a bold claim to make. Even for ourselves when we blamed the US. Atarashian-Osean relations will remain to be normal, and up for any assistance should called into. The Fleet of Fog's penetration on the Pacific Defense Line forced the AAF to withdraw all it's assets from Baraccas straight back to the defense of the homeland, leaving the moderate government to handle their own problems with a few AAF Arsenal given out to them. The Fifth Fleet from Baraccas was reassigned to the defense of Korona Atoll, as the Fleet of Fog has already sent a fleet there to mess up with the locals, and once the Fifth Fleet arrived, a massive naval battle followed, with the FoF still holding considerable advantage, and that the battle lasted only that long due to the homeland advantage the Federal Republic possess. Elsewhere, the mass destruction of the northern autonomous state, Katowokora City, left nearly the entire spirit population extinct. With a few rescued and taken to black sites to prevent the Spirits from being killed any further. There were already reports of mass slaughter of the spirits across the world, putting their numbers down to dangerous levels.

The FIA continues to investigate about the Thirteen Horsemen upon having to be given a leaked information details about them, as well as the other remaining rogue spirits across the world. The First APSF Force was assigned for anti-spirit operations, but only to incapacitate them for research and refugee roles and kill them should they further resist. FLT only counts that the original 2 Million Spirits were reduced to no more than eight thousand left, and a spare of them were working with the FIA, the AAF Special Divisions or the Navy Program. While the public remained in doubt of the government's actions, and the uncertain future that may lie ahead "war" between the two nations, Folia Katayanagi still believed that people like the Thirteen Horsemen will do anyway they can to shatter the cage that contains the two nations, and let them fight like animals.

The Tangaliro government understands the concerns of the Aurelian government,however,the diplomats insisted that they can do nothing about it,as the rift of Mt.Ever Frost is now under the direct administration of the RCO,not Tesounian UN.

For those ships that passed before the RCO takeover,the Tangaliroan government believed that it's the act of the rift defense force personnels on their own behalf,recently,the Osean government's rather aggressive behavior against the new Sotoan nation has triggered a distaste from the majority of the Tangaliroan nationals,so they couldn't really help it but let the Chinese fleet pass.Still,the Tangaliroan diplomats promised their Aurelian counterparts that an investigation regarding the defense force allowing foreign military ships from beyond a rift pass directly into another rift would be conducted.

However,optimistically,the Tangaliroan diplomats told the Aurelian diplomats that,the MAAA Chinese fleets' activity in UNFA are probably only gonna trigger a regional conflict,the dangers of a total war rising from it would be low,as long as the rest of UNFA stay out of it.The Tangaliroan diplomats also suggested that the fleets' incursion into Strangereal can be potentially beneficial to the fight against the ongoing unknown rogue fleet crisis as well.

Though the rift is now under RCO administration,the actual commanding authority of the original Tesounian UN rift defense forces are still in the hand of Tangaliro,most of the troops and assets remained in their position,with further massive ground and naval reinforcements being garrisoned into the facilities as the situation between MAAA and UNFA escalates,and the threat of the unknown rogue fleets becoming imminent.

Thanks to the special characteristics of the geographical structure of the rifts in Tesounia and the fortifications done to it,the threats of the rogue fleets being able to cross the rift in massive number at a time is low,taking this as an advantage,the rift defense force engaged in defensive inter-rift attacks against any so-called "Fleet of Fog" that sails too close to the rift with ASM strikes across the rift,though the damage done to the fleet of fog in the region is unconfirmed and unknown,it's better than doing nothing.

They had already crossed one universe, and this was the second. Countless miles below, the Chinese fleet sailed waters unknown. Alexander Fairchild held picture of his child, smiling and shedding a tear. He prayed he would come alive to he his son once more, but also knowing he would be ready to meet his maker if it so came to be. A buzzhorn sounded the entry of the air group into the operational AO.

"Get your asses to the guns!" Someone yelled.

Alex rose from his reclined position to man the cockpit's rear-facing anti-air laser cannon, looking at what lay behind and below the bomber aircraft. The other B-72s flew in a spaced formation, accompanied by varying squadrons of P-95s. His aim was not completely his own, being assisted by systems onboard the cannon. The bombers cut through the cloudline, descending smoothly and fluidly into the grey-white cumulonimbus abyss. Alexander immediately felt a degree of cold far worse than prior. Distant cracks of thunder could be mildly heard in the midst of the wind's howl and the roar of the engines.

"They can't see us." One of the gunners chuckled.

"Or we can't see them." Alex worried.

"Ease up, man!" The gunner shrugged, returning to manning the starboard side gun.

As the aircraft pushed through the anvil-shaped cloud, they finally reached the other side, leaving the cloud layer behind them. The target now lay directly below. Flak explosions detonated beneath them, the air group being just above their range. The bombs fell right before Fairchild's eyes, each taking a unique trajectory under the assistance of their guidance systems. Without warning, a flurry of 20mm fire ripped visible holes through the plane, to which he was jolted to alertness. He could hear the 45mm anti-air gun firing, loud even from afar. One of the (enemy) aircraft appeared behind the B-72 with clear intent to get a rear hit. Alex fired the gatling laser in response, penetrating and destroying the mysterious aircraft. Several P-95s flew past, in pursuit of one of the unknown aircraft.

"Silos are clear to fire!" He heard in the cockpit. A whoosh later and he could see one of the missiles speeding downward, bathing the burning remains of the unknown fleet in a white light. A black-grey cloud rose over the area.

"Hit confirmed!" He heard then.

With that, the air group changed course back to the rift, where it would descend and eventually cross the rift to TESU's world, to which they would then cross to make a landing in Nellis AFB several days later. These time delays would be quite a problem to American air operations in the other world, to which it would soon be requested that Tangaliro allow USAF components to establish Air Force Bases within the country.

President James Holland has recently viewed that the RCO has become a MAAA diplomacy pet, and gave public immunity to the nations crossing beyond the rift. While the Chinese and the Americans intervening on solving the Sotoan problem, Aurelia doesn't recognize them solving the Fleet of Fog issue either. The government has ordered three fleets to arrive in Atarashi by the end of the week, and combat the enemy armada. With the intent of capturing one for goals in researching the enemy's capabilities and their strength. While the East War is stuck on a frozen stalemate again, there will be an opening regardless that the FoF may take advantage of. The diplomats in Tangaliro continued to argue that each world must have their own rights in keeping the sovereignty of their regions, and that Atarashi should reconsider it's position in the RCO.

The East War is put on a frozen stalemate again, and the battles that the FoF were significantly winning were becoming more difficult for them to take on. Their lack of geographical, navigation and their reliance on heavy warships becomes the main toll of their defeat in the coming days. The Ministry of Defense, from several ZOCOM Officers have proposed for a high risk mission: Capturing a Fog Vessel.

The Battle in Korona Atoll comes with a bloody price. The Atarashian Fifth Fleet were on the brink of defeat, but the reinforcements from ZOCOM-exclusive vessels and aircraft delayed the inevitable defeat of the battered 5th Fleet. As the FoF's massive vessels were relentless not to spare the lives of anyone in the atoll, the enemy was also taking every beating they were receiving when their forcefields took too much damage from the retaliations. Two Destroyers from the Fifth Fleet were destroyed when they attempted to grab their attention, but the Kodiak from above launched everything it had. Ranging from it's massive cannons and missile batteries that would cripple their Fog Nagato Class Battleships. As the battle was on even terms for both sides, the battered Cruisers from the Fifth Fleet fired their railguns to tear through the forcefields of the Nagato and render most of it's weapons useless, with the secondary ammunition payload within the ship detonated, effectively disabling the Fog Battleship. The attention dragged here also forced a few more of the Fogs to reinforce their forces here, but that would mean by sacrificing their own forces already in Sotoan Waters. A Fog Submarine was also captured, surfaced, placed in set of the storage ships and departed for Kastelle Naval Base, while the battered Fog Nagato Battleship was towed by the Fifth Fleet's Haruna Class Battlecruisers. As the Fifth Fleet retreated with the ZOCOM force, the Korona Atoll fell under the FoF's hands a few hours after, with their forces massing very close to Atarashi. It was a strategic defeat, but the Navy managed to capture two Fog ships to be sent to Kastelle for research and analysis.

FLEETCOM from Yokosuka has advised allied states from Osea, Aurelia and Emmeria that some of the Fleet of Fog ships managed to reach other international waters. With the Chinese and Americans present in the fight, the country encouraged the three other allied states to fight the war against these aliens. While the FIA and Naval Intelligence has already begun their investigation about the source of this armada.

With vigor and energy, China, now mobilized in a scale of full fledged war against this Fleet of Fog had deployed a new fleet into south antarctic ocean. At this point in the war, the Chinese are furious, and have displayed their intentions of sheer resolve for the destruction of the Fog fleet. This would come as a surprise to the countries in the 2020 timeline, who believed that the Chinese would most likely crawl into a ball after the sustained naval losses. What they were incorrect about, was that the Chinese can manufacture and replace losses at a stunning pace. The Chairman had good reason, and with a single order, PLAAF aerial assets that can be sustained in the air thru the use of nuclear power began to accumulate in the entire Atlantic, Ceres, and East Pacific Oceans. Along with the United States Air Force, the PLAAF work in joint to make sure that the Fleet of Fog is persistently harassed, and destroyed if possible. The UFNA would not like this sudden exercise of force, but the Chinese simply shrugged off their warnings. The oceans adjacent to the Verusean and Anean continents are now filled with Chinese aircraft. Just as the Chairman wished, the Chinese home front began to roll out fifty and more bombers for every ten destroyed, this ratio was not consistent and continued to change.

The Chinese bomber pilot bent his head as he stared at the modules. He wore a PLAAF 2054 Pattern bomber jacket coupled with other necessities as he called out to the rest of the crew. "Get ready to drop the bombs! If we die here, we die in honor for China, for our families, for the Republic!". The bombers were with their fighter escorts, the Chinese operate in mass formations. "We're headed to the ship!! We're almost there!" . Suddenly, the Fleet of Fog began firing from the above, it clipped the bomber's wing, several more shots hit the belly. It began to smoke, as it lost its balance. "We're losing the hydraulics!! We will not live, Comrades take control of the flight computers, we are going to die not in vain, but in the name of our country!" the pilots cheered, they took control of the destabilized bomber and with determination, they made a suicide contact with the Fleet of Fog heavy cruiser.

BOOM. The bomber made contact and smashed through the hull of the heavy cruiser with sheer force and accumulated kinetic energy. The bombs began to drop from the skies as the Fleet of Fog faced sudden attacks from torpedo bombers, bombers, and bomb trucks alike. A combat task force of the Fleet of Friendship opened fire in unison.

BOOM. BOOM. The Fleet of Fog failed to recover in the sudden and simultaneous attack. With their efforts focused upon the massed air formations, the Chinese left a nasty surprise for the Fleet. A column of smoke arose in a parabolic fashion as a DF-99 (Dong-Feng) naval rocket launched from upon the PLAN nuclear super dreadnoughts.

A large and unprecedented explosion rang out on the port side of the Fleet of Fog's battleship as screen ships opened fire. Aurelian engineers and ship designers from the country has arrived in Kastelle Naval Base, alongside with Aurelian military strategists. Including Admiral Thomas Steins, the man chosen by both head of states from two countries to lead an allied naval fleet. Steins looked at the captured Fog vessels that included a damaged Fog Nagato Vessel and an I-401 Sentoku Class Submarine. Though Steins before had ordered Aurelia's Secret Service to look into the origin on the Fleet of Fog, but it's surprising that decommissioned or sunken ships would even be the FoF's military vessels that terrorizes the world's oceans.

"...By the graces of the North. This is huge." Steins, with his men and the people from the two states walked around at the I-401. With the strange markings around it are still glowing apparently. "..We lost the battle in Korona, but we managed to get two ships. Were there any attempts to reverse engineer these ships?"

"No." An Atarashian Naval Intelligence officer answered his question. As he looked over to the files he's currently holding. "We even looked at every possible intelligence from Osea, Emmeria, and even the Hiung Zhae. So far nothing. We have no clear understanding, or even the ability to replicate these ships. They look like they were a century ahead from the future."

"The future huh. But they use War-Era ships, not to mention the majority of it being Atarashian ones. Oseans. Aurelians. Do you have any investigations to where they have come from?"

"No Admiral, but we could have guessed that it might be the Spirits again. Or another anomaly storm."

While the Tangaliroan diplomats agreed to the Aurelian diplomats' argument that every region should have the right to keep the sovereignty of their world, the diplomats of Tangaliro also argued that Atarashi's previous attempt to influence other worlds by exportation of highly-advanced weaponries that are many years beyond the historical technological development of their times back in the early days, when both Tesounia and Strangereal first came in contact with the previous Erde world, has already broke the balance and sovereignty of the old Erde region.

Therefore, the Tangaliroan diplomats argued that whether it is legit to consider whether several specific nations in UNFA would still respect the sovereignty of the current Alt-Earth(New official term of Tesounia on referring MAAA world) world if the nations wasn't so alert on Atarashian activity in their world, and treated UNFA nations like those on Erde, is questionable.

Though Tangaliroan diplomats admitted that their nation had a part in the exportations as well,they reminded their Aurelian counterpart that until Atarashi suddenly exported military technologies 10-20 years beyond those of the time of Erde,they used to only export weapons of the same era of Erde to avoid causing imbalance to the world.

At last, the Tangaliroan diplomats concluded Tangaliro's stance on the matter: Though they have no intent to offend any nations involved in the matter, they believe the current situation is the direct product of past habits of Atarashian Interventionism, therefore, they can do nothing about it.

By the time the Aurelian-Atarashian Task Force was formed, and a decisive Sino-American force is putting up the biggest guns they have available. The lack of such advantages that the FoF needed was already taking it's toll.

When word of another Fleet of Fog Task Force was destroyed in the Ceres Ocean, and the Oseans had likely destroyed another from the North, the oceans that humanity once ventured would be again, polluted by their pointless desires of survival. The Fleet of Fog wanted something personally from the nation itself. Their goals were clear, it wanted to resource a mineral that the country had for a long time, violated for hiding rare earth elements. Without a proper home port, any battered ships would have to rely on forward operation bases on the captured islands in the Pacific, and make use of the resources they have on their supply ships. The loss of a large number of Battleships put a strain on the capabilities of the FoF to a greater extent. And with their forces now focused on the Pacific Theater, their submarine fleets continued to hunt down their Chinese counterparts, to which Chinese losses these days are still rising up. Followed by a series of missile attacks on their fleets to weaken their strategic placement on the UFNA world.

Though, with Korona Atoll secured, it needed a few more islands to take before the FoF is closer before it begins it's massive attacks on the Industri Archipelago and the Eastern Rift that connects the two rampant worlds from apart. The Third Fleet set sails with it's swarming number of Destroyers and Submarines. While the Fifth Fleet remained to defend the territories they have taken close to Sotoan Waters. The defense line remained to be powerful, not allowing even the farthest Chinese ship to set sail, and the airspace is contested by a series of dogfights between the two sides.

The skies becomes contested quickly, but Atarashi's superiority over aerial technology quickly put forth the dominance it had retained for the past thirty years. For a long time, Atarashi's capabilities has always been the skies. Their Air Force outmatched most of the world today, and now the ADFX-05 Multirole Fighters were showing one of the best edges of the Atarashi Armed Forces. Their TLS and ADMM system capabilities just quickly cleared the skies out of every toaster aircraft in the skies, with the B-5R Continental Bomber dropping ordinances on the ships from high altitude. As the heavy vessels reacted with the protection of force fields, the railgun fire from the AAF Second Fleet put the use of their shields to be useless to such instant attack of their firepower. The Railgun Cruisers were giving them significant damage, and the Haruna Class Battlecruisers put an end to the misery of the Fog Destroyers from afar. The Nagato and the I-401, controlled by their own mental models, put their weapons to good use with their photon cannons, and their massive typhoons of missiles straight into the enemy fleet.

What's even better was the use of the I-401's Super-Graviton Cannon, one of the best deterrent against the FoF ships, wiped out most of the enemy Third Fleet by the release of such weapon. This spelled defeat to the FoF Third Fleet, and the straits remained under Atarashian control.

More battles followed on as the I-401 ventured with it's escorts. With such surprising results from this submarine, and the Naval Candidate controlling it, there is little no doubt that the battles being fought today was the turning point of the East War. Massive AAF Marine and Naval Operations were conducted the next days, and some of the atolls and independent island republics were liberated the following day. Offering them their own ships in exchange for their participation in the East War.

Admiral Thomas Steins saw the rapid success of the joint task force following it's recent counter-attacks and liberation of island states across the Pacific. The Supreme Commander of the Naval Forces ordered the liberation of Kastille Islands and had revised a plan that the I-401 Submarine will be able to tear down the heart of the Fleet of Fog's warships. As the FoF had recently destroyed an Aurelian counter-attack force yesterday, the enemy again was stormed by missiles launched from the distance by surface launchers and Guided Missile Frigates from afar. Due to their lack of navigation and a dated strategic capabilities, they were met by surprise when bombers from above from the AAF and the RAAF dropped down ant-ship ordinances down below. And had a Destroyer Squadron initially take the enemy's attention in the ensuing chaos. With that came from the two Aurelian Aircraft Carriers launching F-35Bs to attack the enemy ships. As the enemy's attention is drawn to the attacks, the Allied I-401 Submarine finished off most of the enemy vessels in the spot, and the enemy Aircraft Carriers were destroyed even before they began launching combat sorties up into the air. Though the Aurelian Attack Force sustained a couple of losses, Kastille Islands was ripe for liberation, as Aurelian Marines cleared out the island state from occupation two days later. The new strategic and technical advantage beyond the Kastille Islands brought great results in the coming naval battles.

The Osean Government denounces the United States of America and the People's Republic of China for declaring a biased and slanderous information about Osea's involvement in Sotoa. As the country shows no interests in dealing with Sotoan matters in the public. All the traces of Osean involvement in Sotoa, including the recent intelligence and financial smothering were gone the moment the operation was executed. The Osean Federation also blamed the US and China for their sudden scapegoat, undeclared intervention and the "creation" of these fleets using Japanese ships beyond the rift are a threat to international sovereignty. Osea has already exploited several American networks relating to the Thirteen Horsemen, and had blamed the Americans for the mass terrorism and forced revolution on the Republic of Sotoa costed millions of lives in the world, and worsen the relations of the two countries. As the Osean Navy had accomplished multiple but costly counter-offensives in the Ceres Ocean against the Fleet of Fog, the country has enacted a State of War, and under declaration of Congress, declared a state of hostilities with the American and Chinese Governments. Osean Envoys are sent to Yuktobania to forge an alliance against these two aggressors, and had warned both powers not to cross the Ceres Ocean that is shared by the two Superpowers.

The Osean War Economy saw rapid rise, and the labor force met with an increase of production. The Osean Air Defense Network across it's thirty states were active, prepared for disrupting any incursions that the nations beyond the rift may throw. The military industry saw a massive, booming record of land and air assets manufactured. With the rapid construction of naval warships in several shipyards were on the way, planning an armada of Kestrel Class Supercarriers and the modification of the already 10 active Montana Class Battleships, with their cannons to be replaced that would suit the modern world today. Osean bases in foreign nations, across the Osea, Africa and Verusean continent were on high alert. And local arms manufacturing and gun store businesses saw a rapid rise of sales when millions of Oseans purchased their own weapons, and state militias are preparing for a full scale war. Anti-Chinese and American sentiment was on the rise, and these invaders should return home immediately.

As strife continues to escalate within MAAA-UFNA relations, Roberts has decided that it's only proper to call things short with the diplomatic tour. After all, nothing serves as a turn off a diplomatic tour more than the prospect of it being interrupted by war. Roberts and his small entourage have flown back to AD01. Although he has promised that it would continue in due time, the likelihood of it happening any time soon with the events at hand weren't too grand. A meeting had been called between heads of state within the Inner Coalition, the CC's more united core, inside the Inner Coalition conference room — a room more often known as "The Ice Room". The purpose of the meeting at hand was to further discuss issues of multiversal security. Or to be blunt, what to do about the bickering down under. This was a high security meeting, meaning that no information goes in or out where it shouldn't go. And with the Inner Coalition's finest eyes watching it, the prospect of anything getting in or out alive that shouldn't do so was astronomically low; or to use the term that leadership within the Ice Room more preferred, "impossible".

"I think we may all agree that the situation between the MAAA and the UFNA is escalating to ..." Roberts paused for a moment and pondered the fact that he just used MAAA instead of 2058. Goddammit ... to hell with it, it's official until someone complains about it. " ... concerning proportions."
The leaders around the sleek table nodded and voiced their agreement. Mattias Anton, the president of Scandinavia & Greater Finland, lightly countered Roberts's statement. "I would certainly agree with you that a conflict between nations of the MAAA and the UFNA would be a dire issue. However, to lower the alarmist feelings, I should note that neither your nation nor the Coalition have made truly dedicated relations towards any side. Hell, we're only mildly close to the MAAA US out of the fact that they were one of the first to welcome us — and to be frank, I don't think we're much to anything to them at the moment. In essence, the only reason we're tied to the MAAA is the fact that we don't have any rift connections to the others."
Shou Rhee, president of Kanihon, took his turn. "Speaking of others, we need to establish diplomatic missions with the others as soon as possible. I have confidence that the current qualms between the MAAA and UFNA aren't without probably legitimate reasons, but I think we need to know what both sides have to say before we even consider the possibility of increasing relations with either or. I say we start with some of the major powers in the connected universes involved: Atarashi, Tangaliro, and Turmenista."
"You just mentioned two of the three concerns of the MAAA United States," Roberts shot back. "The US is in major cahoots with the USSR and China. If I had to guess from what we know so far, the three are at least in a de facto alliance with the US at the helm. They don't like the UFNA, they despise them. If they see us trying to make any sort of move for them, neutral or not, I fear that our riftport in the MAAA would be quickly overrun. We cannot afford to have them go hostile on us while our only connection to those universes is still under construction and quite vulnerable. The RCR and basic security parameters are in place, but it's not done quite yet."

"This sort of reminds me of something that's been under planning for some time," Roberts said after a pause. "We can only rely so much on what's public in other universes. We can only rely so much on other nations outside of this universe to ... Ahem, "pull strings" when we need it so. In short, we need a united intelligence force for addressing concerns outside of AD01."
"Sounds excellent," replied Herschel Klein, president of New Babylon. "Got a name in mind? Who would it compose of? Do you have a first mission in mind?"
"I'm thinking the "Cobalt Coalition Multiversal Intelligence Agency". It'll consist of volunteers from intelligence departments in Inner Coalition nations," Roberts explained. "It's first mission, to me, seems to be less a clandestine operation and more a matter of keeping tabs. We need our own eyes on the ground to keep us informed of the situation as it escalates. I want agents near, if not in, hotzones as this escalates. However, I won't permit illegal matters taking place at the moment. I don't want an agent to be caught snooping around while we're neutral, that'll make both sides our enemy. As I said: we're just having our own source of info on the situation, we're not actually doing anything entirely covert. I'd prefer the term unlisted."
Leonard Ritter, president of Proper Germany, had some concern. "Seems good, but we still need diplomatic missions outside of the MAAA. Perhaps we should have our agents lay out the steps for this?"
Roberts agreed, but with caveat. "It's an excellent idea, but I feel like using agents alone to represent our nation and universe aren't exactly the best way to start things off. I think we can send off three of our agents with an ambassador for escorting and making sure they have the means to get in and out of their nation safely."

It only took some further talking to establish the idea of a proper coalition intelligence department. The CCMIA, as discussed, would consist of volunteers from intelligence departments in Inner Coalition nations. Its first mission, although not of covert or illicit purpose, is to keep watch on the developing situation between the MAAA and the UFNA. Its second mission is to ensure the safety, and their privacy of their role from MAAA American officials, of Adainian ambassadors heading to Atarashi, Tangaliro, and Turmenista for the opening of missions outside of the MAAA universe.

And comes by to the place where the Empire spelled doom that very fateful day. Midway remained to be a misery to Atarashi, and most Admirals preferred that it should be avoided to prevent any Naval Officers to get any bad omen that comes out from Midway. When anyone speaks about Midway in the Naval Academy, it would either be that you're cursed or plain stupid.

The cursed however is changed straight to the Fleet of Fog. The AATF Task Force sent in their warships to the waters very close to Midway Atoll. It spelled doom initially for the Atarashi Navy, as though if the nightmares from the Pacific War ever had disappeared that fateful day. The Task Force would then be under attacked by the Fog's Aircraft from above, as the Destroyers spearheading the naval formation make quick work of the enemy aircraft, and took a bit short for the I-401 to spot the Fog Aircraft Carrier. As the Carrier was blown up, it caught the attention of a larger Fog Fleet. With the timing perfect, and that the enemy's lack of navigation made it too obvious for the Fog to send in forces in any location, the AATF ambushed the arriving forces by the air instead, with the F-47 Firehawks dropping Anti-Ship ordinance down below, and the I-401 slicing some of the ships in half with it's Lasers. The AATF Fog Nagato Battleship finished up the biggest ships of the Fog, enabling a safe passage through Midway.

As the AAF Marines landed on Midway Atoll to secure it, the Fog technically has no infantry, but relies on mind controlling the local inhabitants and handing them weapons that outmatches most of the nations today. Though the battle in the Atoll caused the AAF to sustain some casualties, it was eventually taken back, including the Airfield. Midway being secured followed a series of victories around the nearest atolls and islands in the Pacific, and that the AATF Task Force had cut off the stalemate line between the two warring factions.

The East Osea Nations remained vigilant of the events that had unfolded today, and as such, the threat of an alien annihilation is near when the flooding armies of the Sino-American Forces roam around the seas, step onto the land of man, and terrorize the very civilization of what the world had once created for a concept of an international, peaceful hegemony. The meeting today of state leaders of the Eastern Schengen Alliance States, composed of Nordland, Recta, Ratio, Wielkava, Gebet and FATO. The leaders of the six allied states will enact an intergovernmental policy that will spare the ESA from the threats that are being unleashed by the scourge from the world beyond the rift. The Nordland Confederacy, no more as a neutral state, leads in the charge of ESA International Policy by putting restraint on all force of resistance through the influence it had spread throughout the years. The Nordic country allows the rise of anti-war sentiments across the world, encouraging that both parties from the conflict will show restraint from their aggression. The Nordland Confederacy saw the opportunity to take it's membership on the RCO, but doubtful of it's role due to some claims of being a Sino-American puppet.

The ESA is not without it's military, and while all the member states remained a defense policy within their military, they are capable of tearing down an invasion of a global power by means of proper coordination and leadership. The Head of States from the ESA has a leadership that is most effective, as most of the people remain loyal to the constitution of the government, and the policies that had once were implemented from the past remained up today as the rule of man itself. The recent revisions of such laws comes in an approval to the Schengen Public, with activists speaking out on behalf of their individual groups that the policies today the ESA make will put a change on human history forever. While the ESA Nations remained neutral to the affairs today, especially the presence of "aliens" within the world, there is no doubt that an inter-rift war is impossible, and will never happen. As President Fredrik Sandvik, the current head of state and government of the Confederacy, remained neutral to the state of affairs, but the country's military under his power, is ready for any deployment across the world. With one of the most powerful navies in the Continent itself, it can enforce an effective blockade despite the aliens advantage.

The rise of international recognition of the Scandinavian Region no longer tolerating a neutral policy is a welcome to Aurelian politics. Diplomats were sent to the capital of the ESA, which was Krosbeckje, the capital of the Nordland Confederacy. Though a few diplomats remained in Tangaliro to find a better solution for both countries to solve the tensions of the two worlds, the Eastern Schengen Alliance may as well be the answer if TESU doesn't become active in any participation in halting an imminent inter-rift conflict. Vice President Albert Schwartz, alongside with other diplomats, exchanged greetings and appreciations with their counterparts, as they have looked in for a possibility to stop a potential conflict from the nations of Atarashi, Osea, America and China heating up any further. Though Aurelia can be admitted to the ESA, it has to take a few certain steps to meet the requirements and the status quo of the Alliance itself for membership.

In the Pacific, the assault on Korona Atoll begins as Admiral Thomas Steins led the Aurelian Second Fleet and the Atarashian Seventh Fleet to the battle, where a massive exchange of weapons took place. The losses for the allied fleet were moderate, and the I-401 managed to keep the concerns of casualties and losses aside with it's firepower. The skies were contested, only then that the odds were more challenging than they have thought. Though the Fogs uses biplane models with supersonic engines, they have deployed fast, maneuverable drones to even the odds on the skies. Though once the Air-Defense Destroyers arrived in the area from the Aurelian 55th Destroyer Squadron, and a long range missile attacks from land to air, it returned to the allies favor. And the Fog's attempt to flank their positions failed when the already taken island territories were filled with Allied Artillery Pieces, crippling the Fog ships that may dare come near, and railgun emplacements that put an end to their misery as their force field would be destroyed.

As the counting for how many losses did the Allies endured, the liberation of Korona Islands and it's neighboring atolls marked the first half of the East Pacific liberated from the dangerous Fleet of Fog. It has recently captured another submarine, with the same class and weaponry like the I-401. It is later brought to Kastelle Naval Base for reactivation and re-purposed for the Allied Fleet.

Ryouko led an APSF Force into Sotoa to search for an unusual activity that had linked a Spirit over to the Fleet of Fog. As soon as her squad reached the perimeter, awaits a Spirit fighting another Spirit. As part of the Anti-Spirit operations, Ryouko had to subdue both, but the second spirit was Kirina Tokougawa, who was also after for the Rogue Spirit. Mistaken both as a target, the APSF engaged the two spirits, and while the chaos erupted inside the massive palace, the Rogue Spirit disappeared. And it was only the APSF and Kirina at a stand still.

"Hands on where I can see them! You are under arrest for violating the Humanity-Spirit Ceasefire Accords!" As Ryouko and her squad pointed their energy based weapons straight at her. "Now come with us if you don't want any harm."

The leader of the Fleet of Fog called in for a defensive war, as most of the key assets including the Battleships were all destroyed for the Fog's attempted invasion on Sotoan Waters by the Sino-American Fleet. The scattered ships in the Ceres and Usean Oceans were to find somewhere to hide, and reveal themselves should the right time come. However, a Fog ship Takao-Class Heavy Cruiser defected to the Aurelian-Atarashian Task Force, sending out a white signal to the nearest foothold of the task force.
