Introduction / Background Synopsis
The multiverse is quite vast — as vast as infinity is. In a world of infinite possibilities, infinite universes exist. As as one may deduce from this, an infinite multiverse may lead to universes with infinite similarities. Some universes may be vastly different from one another, while some universes may be as little as the flap of a butterfly's wings away from the same. This may result in some strange events, and in some cases an identity crisis.
A bit more than three months ago, the United States of Adainia within a universe that has been labelled as AD05 had faced a crossroads. A lack of appropriate response & communication from all sides and a series of unfortunate events lead to the nation's civil war, which in turn lead to its demise. The specifics no longer matter, what matters now is that the powerful archipelago has turned into a husk of what it once was. Its vibrant capital, Foxborough, has become a smoldering crater after being struck by an ARES satellite beam; the nation's leaders were disintegrated within milliseconds of the explosion. Its own military, and even its own people, became divided into sides — sides which eventually dissolved themselves after bickering seeped from a national to a local level like a cancer refining itself. Cities were ravished by the nation's own weaponry, and the people suffered greatly for a cause which had become unknown. Adainia, within the AD05, devolved from a nation to a divided land, which in turn devolved into a barbaric site of anarchy.
As the people turned reclusive, they saw their own means of survival. Some tried to leave the islands. Others became raiders, who terrorized those they laid eyes on. Others simply chose to leave the war "through their own choice."
But six particular people — six chose to leave the universe entirely.
A group of six people, lead by a USAF-ARMY Pathfinder, found their way to Mt. Tech's Mt. Fanatico — one of the nation's headquarters in technological developments. None of them knew exactly what they were looking for, but they certainly had a vague idea of the rumored "Royce's Portal". They knew what it was rumored to be, but not if it existed, or if it would worked. They had found their escape.
When the six left AD05 for AD01, what is now often considered the primary Adainian universe, the Adainians of AD01 found themselves shocked. They were by all means no strangers to the multiverse, but never before had anyone travelled to AD01, let alone be a "alien citizen". Since AD01's Adainia began its interest in the multiverse, it had strict policies of not interfering with other nations just like itself. But never before had one been on its doorstep, begging to be saved.
This is an RP which, at its core, crafted to explore a few things: Self identity, perception, the past, and forgiveness in the face of what seems unforgiveable — on a national level. From a more external perspective, and probably more important one, it's what happens when Adainia cries for Adainia — when you cried me.
RP Factbook
A couple of articles have been made to give you guys a good idea of what you're getting into. There's a couple of maps, various backstories, and an (admittingly) open explanation on what each side is expected to aim for. It's a lot of material, but I tried to include everything you may need to get started. Feel free to just skim through it, but keep in mind you have a little more than a week to read through it thoroughly; something tells me that's more than enough time. Let it be known that there will be consequences if you just blindly jump in without either reading these or the rules.

Sign-Ups & Roster
All nations* who intend to participate must fill in an application and past a hasty inspection. If your nation is OK'd and the side you signed up for isn't full, then you will be given the go-ahead to RP when the time comes. Sign-ups are prioritized by who signs up first*. Nations may be approved immediately, or within a week — it all depends on how many come in at once and how much quality shows up immediately.

Nations within the UNFA-MAAA-SSCA-TESU multi-region are prioritized above all other sign-ups and do not require a full application. Just state the nation you're playing as and the side you'll prefer.
And apologies for the wall of text. I guess that's the way first posts work for an RP. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
