He then hanged up.

"And this concludes the lecture," finished Captain Jahar Kamar," any questions?" After answering almost every question he leaned back on his chair and sighed. His relationship with these students has gone a long way considering the fact a majority of the people present wanted to kill him a month ago. When Admiral Shen offered him the hob he thought it was a death sentence but now he knew... he was there to simply gain their trust. That was the reason why they used tranquilizers, rubber bullets and tasers and land troops instead of bombing this place into oblivion. There was still distrust of course but the education they were receiving was better than what they received previously. He almost dozed off when he heard someone enter the room.

Emperor Markus walked into the room. He had arranged a helicopter. Katherine did not know, but he did not need her permission to leave or travel to HIS country, which was going to hell. He would be damned if he allowed all of these things to happen without at least showing his face.

He walked up to Captain. He did not know his name, so he simply gave the Keomoran salute (he had been observant of his appointed Keomoran guards), and said "Greetings Captain. So you are the appointed teacher of these students?"

[Keomora]

"Yes sir" responded Jahar, startled and surprised to see the Jahenian Emperor, "I teach a specialized field your college didn't teach and my commanding officer thought I should teach it."

"I appreciate that. Our tactics are outdated, for years the teaching has just been to dig in and fight to the death, I hope you have brought something... fresh to them."

He then looked at the students. "Are you keeping well? And yes, I am aware that there must be some Pondes supporters among you, but for today I am just an Imperial checking up on his fellow brethren."

[Keomora]

"They are good." He turned to his students, "the bell just rung. Of you go enjoy your days. It's sunny go outside!" Jahar turned back to Markus when every student left. "It's a surprise to see. May I inquire why you came? Any questions you have?

[Jahe Davmwoem]

"I came first to see them. Second, I have heard a disturbing rumor. While I will allow any political society to exist, as I promised, there is a new communist society. They have apparently flushed Pondes's forces out of the Spirit of Stone cathedral, and holding a party meeting. I have heard they want to declare a general workers strike "until an acceptable situation for all working citizens". They apparently hate both me and Pondes."

[Keomora]

"The rumors are true. However we have been unable to respond militarily, due to orders not to attack the Jahenian mainland. However the communists are a problem and it is likely they will attrat the attention of the other communist states. Eurania has already shown interest."

[Jahe Davmwoem]

"Don't fight them. We need to show that my word is true. If they stay non-violent to us or the people, we shall not interfere. But you know what is bugging me? How Pondes believes he is right. He does not want power, our ideology for years on him made him turn to a much more radical version of it. I feel responsible for it. My father would have never let this happen."

[Keomora]

"That is not advisable sir."

"What is not advisable?"

"To do nothing while this group continues to operate. Considering the volatile affairs of this region allowing a single communist group exist allows for communist powers such as Eurania and New Aapelistan to support their effort via military supplies. If you do nothing sir you will be seen as weak and drive the moderate left either to Piet Pondes or to the communists. If I was in your military and one of your political advisors I would recommend dealing with them. Effectively and immediately to remind the people you are a leader, the leader your country needs."

And so he looked at the number written on the paper, and then he looked at the beige wallpaper of his office, and proceeded to pick up the phone and dial it in.

"Hello, I was wishing to speak to Emperor Pondes, unless this is him at the phone already."

"I am sorry to not have introduced myself previously, I am Jonathon Richardson, Five-Star General and Chief of the Army of Eutriston, I have a rather pressing matter to discuss, it would be best if anyone within earshot of this conversation be cleared from your presence."

[Jahe Davmwoem]

"I am alone, but would you mind being put on speaker? Don't worry, I am alone, but I am playing my piano, and you can imagine that holding a phone does not work well with that."

[Eutriston]

Jonathon was a bit surprised by the unusual request, but knew to not refuse nonetheless.

"Yes, you may, after all, what power have I to refuse. But let us get to the point; as you know, William recently made a speech in which he called for a ground campaign in order to allow Jahe to resolve its internal issues before it went into a war in which the enemy would be sure to leverage the division of the country and win easily. He called for Eutristinian troops to supplement your army on Jahe's borders in order to ward off outwards threats while healing took place. The motion passed Parliament three days ago, and now we are asking for your approval to begin landing troops at your airfields and trucking them out to the borders. Is this okay?"

[Jahe Davmwoem]

He played Two Pieces for Piano by Joseph Jongen with expert precision while talking.

"How many, and how heavily armed?"

[Eutriston]

"They'd fly in about 200 at a time in cargo jets, we can give you up to 100,000 men in two months, and 250 tanks along with 2500 Humvees."

[Jahe Davmwoem]

"If I may ask a question, what is to keep the world from thinking I am your puppet. Markus is already called Keomora's puppet, and if I am called yours, you know where the people will go? Straight to the communists. Grieg Sonthers can only do so much dirty work for me. You and I both have to convince the world that I am independent."

[Eutriston]

Jonathon smiled. Time and time again. Politics would always cross paths with progress. He'd had to address the problem before, direct the two worlds back to their respective lanes, and prep for another clash. By now, he thought, he might as well be a poltician for all the knowledge he had of them.

"Emperor Piet, I assure you this is a very real concern you have. The notion of a puppet government is not something you would like. My suggestion to avoid such; give the public the hard sell. Have a speech, or in your case, a daily address, in which you show a small resistance to such a ground campaign happening. Then assure your citizens, although you may not like the notion, that this is the best way to preserve Jahenian exceptionalism. They will sympathize with you, and the small resistance will throw off the notion of puppetry."

[Jahe Davmwoem]

"I will do that. Also, I would like to request engineers to help in the capital. Due to the mountains and construction of the city, it is the logical point of last defense, if it should ever come to that. We already have a stockpile of vital goods, and four forts, but we need... well a technological upgrade. Centuries under a socialist dictator did not do us any wonders. Despite the efforts of Emperor Albert Cornelis, God rest his soul, to change that, we are still backwards."

[Eutriston]

"Of course, we would be happy to help. Other than this, I must ask you, would it be okay if William James himself was to fly into the border along with you and give a speech to boost morale, and not have the threat of being shot by a rogue troop?"
