Belharp, near the NSU and Gorgraq Consociation border

Emma Winterhaven entered the meeting room. She was followed by The Chief Of Staff, and a team of the best generals the NSU had. As they took their seats, The Chief Of Staff unrolled a map.

"While we wait for our Gorgraqian counterparts to arrive, I will go over our current situation." Olson Garnett explained. " Right now, we have mobilized around 15,000 infantry. These men are mainly moving to the Rahmbach border, with the rest moving to the Ralioskener border." He paused to put down infantry figurines. " The majority of our air force, airships and airplanes included, have also moved to the Rahmbach border. Three-fourths of our artilary is near Rahmbach, with the rest near Ralioskener. 3 out of our four armored trains are at Rahmbach, and the last is near Relioskener. As our terrain is mostly mountainous, we don't have many tanks, with the few we have are located at the Rahmbach border."

"How many men have volunteered?" Emma asked.

"Over 30,000 have applied, and limited conscription should allow us to have at least 200,000 men in a year." Olson paused for a moment, looking around the room. " How many of you have read my book?" Emma looked around the room, seeing no one raise their hand. She then reluctantly raised her hand.

Olson was outraged." How could no one read my book! I gave you all copies, and only the Princess read it!"

One of the generals tried to formulate an excuse." I umm.. couldn't find it at the library?"

Olson sighed. "Not only did I GIVE you a copy, the whole point of the book was that it had our plans for defense and invasions. Such a book would never be public!" Olson began to explain the plan. Emma tuned it out, as she had already read the book. While Olson talked, Emma thought about the theory part of the book. Olson said that well trained stormtroopers could provide a hard counter to tanks, as they could take over the tanks and use them against the enemy. She personally agreed with that idea, as stormtroopers were key in many of the past wars of the century. As Olson's explanation continued on, she thought about Valerie.She was near Lieben.
She hoped that Rahmbach wouldn't sweep through that area. Emma was jerked out of her train of thought as her Gongraq counterpart entered the room.

Esla region, NSU and Rahmbach border

Valerie sighed as another soldier entered her tent.

"What do you want? If this is about medals, I'm not giving any until you have proved youself."

"Erm... This is not about medals, but about Rahmbach. Soldiers have crossed the border and are rapidly marching here! My orders are to evacuate you immediately!"

"But-" Valerie was cut off by the soldier grabbing her arm and pulling her out of the tent. As she wrenched herself free, she saw her belongings rapidly being thrown into a suitcase. Before she could say anything, her guards surrounded her and escorted her to the train station.

Still Esla

Lieutenant Colonel Louis Cornal looked upon his battalion of stormtroopers.

"Men, we all know what is about to happen. We are about to fight Rahmbach. You may say that we are done for, that two have completed trenches can't fight Rahmbach. Well, I say that can Rahmbach fight us? Can their tanks hold up to us mighty stormtroopers who can not just outmaneuver, but commandeer these tanks? Can their infantry hold up to our artillery and our machine guns? Can their airplanes fight ours? The answer is no. We can and will crush them in every manner. We must fight, not just for our country, but for the children, the elderly, and our wives. No matter what may happen, we will win!"

The loud cheer of the stormtroopers was heard by a NSU pilot, Tommy Thompson. As he flew over the stormtroopers,he felt confidence that what he was doing was right. Any Rahmbachian planes that appeared would be shot down easily. As he approached the Rahmbach border, his squadron encountered a Rahmbachian one. As they began to dogfight,one thing was clear.

The war had begun.

Aclus, June 3rd, 1921

The Aclusian military is now being mobilized. With their army of 4,300,000 Soldiers in reserve, they began training and prepping for the incoming war with the Caribbean. Men from all over the country are informed of the incoming war in order to tempt them in joining later on. Women are then recruited to work in the factories of Aclus while many men leave to join the Army. Children are then taught by instructors about the upcoming tasks that may be asked of them.

While this went on, the professional Aclusian army which was at 2,000,000 Men began readying for a offensive to take place later on today. (I'm going to do a Galipoli )

Following the death of our Chancellor, we interrogated the 2 assailants, we managed to break one of them to tell us the country that sent them and who they were, while the other assailant was not so lucky. The Chief General unrolled a map of the borders between the NSU and The Gorgraq Consocation.

"We have sent 2 divisions to the Gorgraq Consocation border. They are currently digging trenches to prepare for an attack." Albert said. "Next, we have sent another division to deal with the NSU. 2/3rds of our artillery is focused on the Gorgraq Consocation border, while the rest is moving to the NSU border. Most of our cavalry is moving to the NSU border, while the rest is moving to the Gorgraq Consocation. Most of our airplanes and tanks are moving to the Gorgraq Consocation, while the rest is going to the NSU border," he said.

"How many men have volunteered?" Phillip asked.

"18,000, but conscription will allow us to have at least 200,000 men in a year," the Chief General said.

"Excellent. Thank you men, you are dissmissed," Phillip replied as the Generals left the room.

Empress Lena Cartwine III
Lena stood in her room on the RNS Majestic, a large battleship of the Royal Navy. The ship was still in Aterria, and she had still not met with the Aterrians President. She was dejected, and angry at the situation her nation had been put into. She knew she had to defend the Caribbean somehow, they were a major trade partner of the Twelve Isles, and a sudden lack of tobacco, and varying fruits in the Isles would definitely cause an uproar. Not a violent revolution, but a shift in priority's, some of which she worried wouldn't help the nation if the future, no matter how good they looked in the present.

"Your highness?"

Lena turned around, and saw Timon. "Yes, what is it?" she asked, watching as Timon awkwardly tried to not stare at her.

"Um, well, a telegram just came from back home, and, well, the Rhambachens have invaded the NSU. Parliament is calling for a trade embargo of oil against them."

"I support that decision." She spoke quietly, though her words carried a power to them.

"Are you sure miss?" asked Timon. "They have one of the most powerful armys in the world."

"And we have one of the most powerful navys in the world. Im not worried about the Rhambachens. If they want to fight us, they will have to make it across the sea first, and it is well known that we are a people of sailors."

"yes, your highness," he replied. Timon looked down at a folder he was holding in his hands, before handing it to her as well, saying, "and, your highness, this came today. Its from Aclus."

Lena took it, holding it in her hands and reading what it said on the cover. TOP SECRET, in bold red letters. She opened the folder, and all that was inside was a telegram, from Aclus, just like Timon said. She read it, and felt a rage swell up in her chest. "Damn it!" she yelled, throwing the folder and paper haphazardly into her room. "Those stupid, filthy, dirt farming pineapple pickers! We're trying to do everything in our power to protect them, and we seem to have a chance at it, and now what do they do? They assassinate the leader of one of their own allys!" Lena was breathing heavily, and her face had gone red.

Timon looked at her timidly, before quietly saying, "Ill just leave you to yourself, your highness."

"That would be best, Timon," replied Lena. Timon quietly backed out of her room, but before he closed the door, Lena called him back. "Timon," she said. He stuck his head back in. "Tell the captain to take us back home. The Caribbeans had their chance, and they stole it away from themselves. Whatever happens to them now is their problem, not ours." Timon nodded, and started to leave again before Lena said, "and make sure to write that telegram to Parliament. An oil embargo should help to slow down the Rhambachen military, and keep the NSU safer.

[Gorgraq Consociation]

While Startz Gorishna was meeting the leaders of The NSU, control of the country was placed under his brother Thomas Gorishna, he had found out that The Ralioskanian empire had moved troops to the border and was digging trenches. He ordered 300,000 of his 500,000 strong men to do the same. Theses trenches would be complete with machine gun posts, mortar pots and artillery aswell as mines and barbed wire. The barbed wire would be place to funnel Ralioskanian troops into mine feilds and machine gun fire should they choose to attack.

The remaining 200,000 men would be joined by 500,000 new conscripts, and more were one the way, they would be deployed in The NSU to help them defend their country. They waited anxiously while The leaders of The Gorgraq Consociation and The NSU discussed their movements.


Meanwhile in Belharp:

As Gorishna entered the room with his generals he greeted Emma Winterhaven, Olson Garnet and her generals, he then sat down with his generals.

"The biggest threat is The Ralioskanian Empire, if we are to launch a full scale military campaign against Rambach we need to secure our eastern flank, reports have told me that Ralioskener has moved her forces to my border and have started digging trenches. If I attack Rambach I will be invaded from the east. As a result I have stationed troops, tanks and aircraft on my border with The Ralioskanian empire, this means I will not be able to contribute my entire force to help you fight Rambach. We must let them invade first absorb the initial attack them counter attack am them invade thief lands, if The Ralioskanian Empire attacks I will do the same." Claimed Strartz Gorishna

"I would advise The NSU to dig trenches at Rambach if they are to attack without this will help to stop or at least slow their advance" added General Xavier.

7 divisions of infantry and artillery were sent to the Gorgraq Consocation border, while 3 more divisions of infantry, cavalry, and artillery were sent to the NSU border. A law was passed to allow more people to be conscripted into the army, raising the numbers to 320,000. More airplanes were being made and designed, while tanks were being bought from other nations.

Ralioskanian Imperial Palace

"How is little Ferdinand doing?" Phillip asked one of his servants.

"He has been staying in his bedroom for the past 2 days. He has demanded us to leave him alone," he replied.

"Poor boy, only 14 years old as well." Phillip replied. "I might let him visit General Frederick,"

New Columbia City

Soon the RNS majestic was escorted by the lone Colorado-Class Battleship and a number of dreadnoughts to NC. On the shores of the city, a massive crowd had assembled, and many were cheering. The city's skyline stood well above the approaching ships, and a part of the Aterrian navy had been on standby nearby. The Empress was to be given a military greeting, and 10,000 soldiers of the Aterrian army were present, along with 50 armored tanks. President McKinley was waiting at New Columbia's City hall, and was ready to conduct diplomacy.

OROSTAN MOBILIZES

Ships left their ports, soldiers headed to the bases, and tanks rolled off the assembly line.
All over Orostan, great machines of war began to awaken.
People looked up in awe as great flying machines flew to the presumable front lines. Never had the people of Orostan seen such a mobilization.
Within a day, battle ships were stationed in strategic areas. Within a week, Armies were. And within 2 weeks, the entire Orostani military was on alert.

The world would soon be aflame, and they knew it.

Aclus Declares War On The Caribbean

This was the Headline of the Newspapers going around the continent and all over Aclus. The Aclusian proffesional army is now preparing for the first offensive of the War, a Top secret Landing Assault on The Caribbean, this will mark the frontlines of the war. The Aclusian Generals then gathered at the Military Base Area 12.

"A massive barrage from our navy will make short work of those pineapple pickers defenses, while sea planes launched will tell us of the status of the bonbarment, then the troops will land and mop up whats left of them and then secure a foothold in the jungle nearby. They will then await further orders" Supreme General Markus Milliano II told his fellow Generals.

"Splendid plan, at that rate the war will be over by the end of this summer" General Lovis replied.

The Aclusian Army then began their preparations, as well as the Navy.

Lena looked out of the window of the car she was in, being driven through the streets of New Columbia, the Aterrian capital. It was warmer than she was used to, and she felt strange not needing to wear a jacket to keep the cold and rain out. The RNS Majestic had been greeted by the Aterrian navy, and a full military greeting when they reached the shore. She had watched as what seemed like thousands of soldiers marched, and chanted, and spun their rifles. It seemed to her like it had all been put out to impress her, but she just felt pandered to. Lena noticed that many of the women here wore light dresses, cotton and soft, which looked far cooler than the rough pants that men and women alike wore in the Twelve Isles. She didnt know what to think of the people, but she could tell that they were a far more carefree culture than hers.

As the car came to the City Hall, they slowed down, and she saw that a crowd had gathered to see her, and probably their president as well. She looked at the paper she had, which she had rolled up in her hands, which stated the wishes of the Isles. With the assassination, she had decided that it was best she not intervene militarily in the Caribbean, and would let the Aterrians, and now the Aclusians, attack. But, she did hope that they would take up the trade that would be lost with the destruction of the Caribbean, or the invading nations would have to deal with a loss f Isles oil, just like the Rhambachens. An Aterrian boy came and opened the door to the car, and Lena stepped out. She was led up the steps by two of the Royal Guard, who had accompanied her to Aterria. They were wearing dress blues, but with them they still carried pistols, and 3 extra magazines on each of their belts. She walked up the steps to the City Hall, and met the Aterrian president at the top. She extended her hand, and smiling pleasantly said, "thank you very much for having me to you great nation. I appreciate the hospitality you have shown me so far, and I hope we can negotiate a future without war between our nations."

Billy Younger.

"What the hell are we doing here?" Billy sat in a hole, trying to sleep in the cold rain. The stars were out, and he was trying unsuccesfully to use his helmet to keep the water and mud off of his face.

"Its supposed to teach us ho harsh its going to be in the field," replied Thomas. He was a new recruit, and he and Bily had shared a bunk in the barracks. They were very different people, polar opposites. Where Billy was brash, aggressive and loud, Thomas was subdued, peaceful, and quiet. He was a medic, and therefore didnt carry a rifle like Billy. He was a conscientious objector, so while he had been conscripted into the army with the threats of war, he was instead trained to take care of the wounded instead of killing. Not Billy though. Billy had been handed a machine gun, large and heavy, and told to hump it wherever he was told to. In the hole as well were three others, along with Billy and Thomas. They were the gun crew, and carried the ammo, water jugs, and tripod for Billys machine gun.

"How does this teach us shit?" replied Billy. "Ive grown up in Bowler Street. You think I dont know harsh? I was in a gang, I was homeless for two years. When I agreed to join the army, I thought I would at least get to sleep in a tent."

"Well, I guess not." Thomas rolled over, and knocked into the side of their hole. A small shower of dirt fell down on top of him, and he sat up fast, spitting it out of his mouth, and shaking his jacket to get it out of his shirt.

"Yeah, now how do you like sleeping in a hole?" asked Billy wryly.

"Whoever said I liked it?" replied Thomas. "Im just doing my job."

"Yeah well, If this is my job now, it better come with some good coffee in the morning."

Next Morning

Billy recoiled in disgust, and spat his drink out over the top of the hole he had slept in. "Ugh, this coffee tastes like four days of piss and ball sweat boiled in bureaucratic bullshit!" Thomas looked at Billy, but didnt say anything. He just went back to eating his dry eggs and soggy toast, an bemused smile on his face.

From down the line, another soldier called out, "you know Billy? For someone who looks as ignorant as you, thats a pretty astute observation."

Gorgraq Consocation Border
The Ralioskanian troops started putting out barbed wire. They had a very limited amount of landmines, and so they placed only a few mines in vulnerable areas of their defenses. They continued to dig trenches, to prepare for the attack. The first tank the Ralioskanians would ever use in battle was on it's way to the defenses.

Rahmbach

Phillip's uncle, James Kingsland, arrived in the capital city of Rahmbach. He was dressed in a blue military outfit, with medals and awards pinned to his uniform. He wore a rather large black bicorne on his head, which was decorated in large silver and red feathers. Around him were 6 bodyguards.

Königlichkries, Karcevig, The Kingdom of Rahmbach

The streets of the Konigstadt, one of the three Bezirks, or counties, of Königlichkries was rather quiet. The Konigstadt was the elite part of Königlichkries, and the gated Bezirk had a population of 138,000. The Landtag, Imperial Palaces, the Imperial Bureaus and many famous and wealthy shops were located in the Konigstadt. It was originally founded as a peaceful area for the Duke of Karcevig, in 1587, but today it is one of the most important areas of Königlichkries. The King began walking out of the Palace of Wertenber, built for the second royal family of Karcevig. The medieval palace was located at the heart of the Konigstadt. Friedrich exited the palace, the 4th Imperial Rifle Guard escorting him.

"At ease sons of Rahmbach." he said slowly, the soldiers nodding in response and standing straight. "I wish to go into the Konigstadt with more than this. We must show that the nation is secure. Call on the 3rd and 5th Guards and have the armed forces patrolling the streets, of the Bauerstadt and Zitadellestadt as well. God bless you all." the Kaiser finished, entering the car.

The car headed towards the main port of the Konigstadt, owned by the Zitterlung Company. He stepped out and greeted Kingsland, he tipped his hat as he began to speak.

"Ah, hello. Welcome to the Kingdom of Rahmbach, Mr. Kingsland. It is an honour to have you here." Friedrich said.

Near the Border, The Northern Scientific Union

Soldiers continued their advances into the NSU. Not a single shot had been fired, but that was understandable since they hadn't encountered a single town. The soldiers were tired, and the division began to rest.

"Keep an eye out brothers. If NSU soldiers are waiting they'd pick you off without warning. Heads down, oi and you lads, get diggin' the trenches. This hill seems like a decent spot." General Ruftaff shouted. The soldiers immediately began digging a trench up at the top of the hill, near where it began to go down. Snipers and machine gunners began setting up shop, and some soldiers began clearing the way for a supply line.

"General, it's the uh... Chief Imperial Commander, Alois von Wolfstad. He says he is bringing reinforcements, he wants us down at a nearby village in the next 8 hours..."
"How the hell does he know where the settlements are?"
"It's uh... not really a settlement. It's abandoned. Or so it goes anyway. If it really is abandoned and is there, then it fits the story of Rahmbachen settlements there. Old Karcevig Order outposts, before it was the Duchy."
"Interesting. Alright then. LADS, ya have one hour of rest. I want 40 or so to stay back here, continue work on the trench and finish clearing way for a supply line. Sieg Heil!"
"SIEG HEIL!" the soldiers shouted in unison

The word had spread quickly when the Empress' telegram had reached the Parliament. It was plastered on every newspaper the press could get it on.

Oil Embargo On Rhambach, Ralioskener!

The people were worried, but it was an exited worry. The Rhambachen invasion of the NSU was very unpopular in the Isles, and while no one truley wanted war over it, if the embargo led to conflict no one would go against it. After all, the army had already been mobilized, and had risen from 300,000 soldiers to 2.5 million in what felt like a night, and many more young men were signing up every day.

He was going to the Arcadian Army Air corp flight school to become a pilot. That means he would become a warrant officer after flight school. Arcadia had declared that they would aid Aclus in the war. He saw a bi-plane fly by and he thought for a moment and he realized that an attack on Arcadia's main land will be nearly impossible! All the countries on this continent were either allied of the GRA or they couldnt attack the GRA. He sat as the flight instructor told them the flight basics. He looked as Infantrymen ran by with Lewis guns on their soldiers shouting the Army creed. He was waiting for tonight because he would be able to go into the city. 3 hours later He car stopped and he and a few of his squad mates got out for the car. He was wearing his class B uniform. He walked into a bar with some other soldiers. many came here to get laid including him, if they indeed where going to war he wanted to get laid before the deployment.

NSU - Rambach Advancing

The troops continued on in practiced precision, until they heard a sound.
The sound of an airplane engine. The soldiers looked up as a plane with the Orostani Red Star.
The plane circled until someone started shooting at it, then it climbed to a higher altitude, and left.
A while later, the drone of aircraft engine's was heard again. But this time, the planes were bigger. One observant soldier noted that they were PCO-3 Bomber Aircraft.
Bombs began to rain upon the troops, and even as they ran into trenches and Fox holes, bombs pounded the land.

Some Port in Rambach - Same Time

A fisherman was sitting in his small boat, watching the waves as he fished. He saw a shape in the distance. The ship was strange looking. It didn't look like it was from Rambach. Soon he saw others. And he knew it wasn't normal. Soon other fisherman noticed, then there were flashes from the ships. And the military garrison erupted in flames. Around Rambach, ports were set aflame, the ships were not flying any type of flag.

[Gorgraq Consociation]

The Gorgraq Consociation continues to further militarise their border with Ralioskener by bringing in 100 of their tanks, 400 more were under production, aswell as this more artillery had been brought in aswell as this airfeilds were being built to station more aircraft around the border.

"Thank you, sir Friedrich," James replied as he shook Friedrich's hand. "As said in my nephews letter, I was sent here to discuss military plans to defeat both our enemies. I discussed with some of the generals, and have come up with a plan,"

Gorgraq Consocation|Ralioskener Border

2 divisions moved their defenses forward. The soldiers haven't encountered the Gorgraq defenses yet. More tanks were on their way to the Ralioskanian defenses. Machine guns and barbed wire were set up. Supplies were brought to the soldiers, containing food, bullets, and grenades. The soldiers waited day and night for the first attacks.

[Gorgraq Consociation]

During the stalemate between the borders the trench lines on the Gorgraq side were continued back a few more miles, the west of The Gorgraq Consociation was were the main cities were, the eastern side that bordered Ralioskener was mostly feilds and sparsely grouped farms, this would be used as a buffer zone in the highly unlikely event that Ralioskener broke the line.

The troops had just finished building their elaborate trenches, fitted with concrete pillboxes, artillery bunkers, mortar pits and interlocking feilds of fire as well as feilds of mines and barbed wire. The soldiers were prepared for an attack equipped with gas masks, anti-tank grenades, trench knives and sharpened spades aswell as armed with their firearms.

The Imperial War Bureau, Königlichkries, Karcevig, The Kingdom of Rahmbach

"Mr. Kingsland, your strategies and plans will only be used on your front or if the situation calls for it. Our ancestors state, the Karcevig Order and later the Grand Duchy used a tactic named Schwerestillekrieg, one front was filled with heavy fighting, while we advanced through the other silently. It's what allowed us to unify almost all of Rahmbach. We will attempt to flank the Gorgraq Consociation after using the Schwerestillekrieg to flank the NSU from behind, but remember they have a lot of ground to cover. I'd estimate even if there was little resistance it would take a year to conquer it."

Ontoernsberg, The Northern Scientific Union

Once the capital of the Karcevig Order, Ontoernsberg was abandoned 300 years ago after famine affected it and nearby villages. It was a surprise it remained abandoned, the Great Citadel, or Vahmoeren stood standing into the hills the old settlement. Soldiers began clearing buildings in case soldiers were found waiting, but all they found was a few families living outside the city.

"General, what shall we do with them?"
"Leave them be, they speak fluent Rahmbachen, a Karcevig dialect as well. Interesting. Set up base camp in one of the noble houses, we should have artillery arriving in the next three days." General Rustaff responded

BayJune, Arcadia

GYSTG. Patrick Wilson, 15th Combat battalion, 78th Infantry Division
He walked in formation with his battalion and he carried his weapon on his shoulder and he marched. The Arcadian anthem played nad they marched to the docks. They would be arriving in an island near the Caribbean. Many thoughts went through his mind and he wanted to kick some ass. His commanding officer was riding on horse back beside the formation. He had a sword on his belt and he looked over his men. The civilians cheered and he knew if this war got bad they would pull any citizens back into the military. Lena looked out of the window of the car she was in, being driven through the streets of New Columbia, the Aterrian capital. It was warmer than she was used to, and she felt strange not needing to wear a jacket to keep the cold and rain out. The RNS Majestic had been greeted by the Aterrian navy, and a full military greeting when they reached the shore. She had watched as what seemed like thousands of soldiers marched, and chanted, and spun their rifles. It seemed to her like it had all been put out to impress her, but she just felt pandered to. Lena noticed that many of the women here wore light dresses, cotton and soft, which looked far cooler than the rough pants that men and women alike wore in the Twelve Isles. She didnt know what to think of the people, but she could tell that they were a far more carefree culture than hers.

As the car came to the City Hall, they slowed down, and she saw that a crowd had gathered to see her, and probably their president as well. She looked at the paper she had, which she had rolled up in her hands, which stated the wishes of the Isles. With the assassination, she had decided that it was best she not intervene militarily in the Caribbean, and would let the Aterrians, and now the Aclusians, attack. But, she did hope that they would take up the trade that would be lost with the destruction of the Caribbean, or the invading nations would have to deal with a loss f Isles oil, just like the Rhambachens. An Aterrian boy came and opened the door to the car, and Lena stepped out. She was led up the steps by two of the Royal Guard, who had accompanied her to Aterria. They were wearing dress blues, but with them they still carried pistols, and 3 extra magazines on each of their belts. She walked up the steps to the City Hall, and met the Aterrian president at the top. She extended her hand, and smiling pleasantly said, "thank you very much for having me to you great nation. I appreciate the hospitality you have shown me so far, and I hope we can negotiate a future without war between our nations."

"Well, greetings Empress Lena, I am President James McKinley of Aterria, and I welcome you to our nation. It seems like we have quite a lot to talk about, so if you please, follow me." McKinley said as he began leading the Empress and her guards into the city hall. A massive portrait of Washington adorned one of the walls, while those of other former presidents did as well. Oddly enough the hammer and gear of the socialist party was in front of the meeting room they entered (it turns out the old NC mayor was a socialist). The room was decently furnished, and air conditioned. A number of other advisors were inside, 1/3 of them women, all waiting patiently for the session to begin.

Aterrian Navy Blockades Carriebean

Upon recent developments, the Navy of Aterria has decided to install a blockade in Carriebean waters. No ships are permitted to enter without explicit permission, and will risk being fired upon if they try.

The divisions of soldiers marched straight through the lines. The tanks followed, while airplanes flew overhead. They began to split up, moving like ants over the soil.

Ontoernsberg, Occupied NSU

Soldiers were moving quickly across the capital of the Occupied NSU. The base of operations would be right by the borer, this meant that in the event that ground was lost it would take a while for the FOB to be compromised. Chief Imperial Commander, Alois von Wolfstad, would be arriving at the FOB to take over from Ruftaff any day now, those were direct orders of the Kaiser himself. A small team of soldiers from the Imperials Recon Operations began moving out to find settlements nearby. The goal wasn't just to reclaim the rightful Rahmbachen lands, but to establish the rest of the NSU as a puppet state, the Nord Faschistische Vereinigung.

"Sieg Heil boys. We move out after Chief Imperial Commander Wolfstad arrives. Be careful, it's a forested valley up there, they could ambush us and we'd all be dead before we even spotted them." General Ruftaff whispered, it was the dead of the night here.
