I am going to be doing an RP with a combination of modern warfare with fantasy being a backbone of the roleplay, particularly necromancy. This is going to be a war of damn near apocalyptic proportions, but most likely will end with Draurus being sent to oblivion by lots and lots of angry nations who end up with a general hatred for undead stuff.
Background
500 years have passed since the last Vampiric War, which was supposed by many to be the final war. Forced into Switzerland and turning it into their daemonic realm the Vampire Duchy was meant to be contained, with their dominating will left to the mountains, however as the years passed the ones who fought them grew complacent or lost their power, only the Drestonians to their kept their vigilance and attempted on three occasions to eliminate Dieter von Hess, the leader of the Duchy, however all failed, the would be assassins' blood drained and skinned corpses sent back to the Drestonians in two parts each--the skeletons and the flesh.
However, even the Drestonians began to believe the threat had abated after World War One, and the Empire of Saeon, the main targets in every war by the Vampire Dukes; seeing themselves as the true ruler, their former Duke(another von Hess) having actually won the election of the Council, but after his true form was revealed another man named Volker Drak was elected leading directly to the First and Second Vampiric Wars, the second only ending when Saren von Hess was crushed by a trebuchet at the walls of Vienna itself; the capital of the Empire; has failed. The Empire has shrunk to a mere small Principality with a crumbling infrastructure.
Dieter von Hess first appeared during the Third War, and was responsible for the deaths of an entire order of Drestonian Knights, in addition to countless challengers; friend and foe alike. During the Fourth War; when the man who sired him was slain, he was dragged from the final battle by his family as skeletons advanced to keep him from the fight. Crowned Duke following the battle and ordering their self exile.
Now the Vampires of returned from their exile. Their undead armies revitalized, the Draurusian heralds have left with a simple message; "Join our masters, or be destroyed." The moans of the dead echo through the passes surrounding them. The incantations of necromancers can be heard on the winds, and the eternal storms are spreading.
War has come.

Additional Information/Side Notes
The Vampires have spies throughout the world, almost no where is entirely save from their influence, but take heart, they may be rivals to the Duke and may assist you(Wink, wink).
The Duchy uses almost entirely undead forces as it's fighters, but there are human Draurusians that serve, but they are greatly outnumbered, in addition to other vampires.
The Vampires are basically going to act as mini-bosses themselves functioning almost exactly like Warhammer Fantasy Vampires other than in creating more vampires as Draurusian Vampires do not weaken their bloodlines by doing so. However, the longer a vampire lives the more powerful he becomes. Basically to kill MOST vampires and keep them from ever getting back up you have to blow them into tiny little pieces, then keep said hunks of vampire away from necromancers.
