It's a slippery slope, especially since those sorta things are probably less than two decades away.

Since we're already pushing it, I'd propose that things like railguns, spaceplanes, and satellite-based weapon systems ought to represent the absolute apex of current weapons technology. Would that be a good rule of thumb?
