Ithran National News

A major incident involving ethnic Ithrans living in the Swiss Republic has sparked a conflict between the two. Last night at 3:00 am, The Ithran 9th and 10th Alpini Divisions alongside the 7th Parachutist Division began major operations along the border which culminated in an invasion of the small land locked Republic. The Ithran forces have managed to unofficially annex the Swiss cantons of Grigioni and Ticino, but have not moved further into the republic despite the state of war. Sources in the military report that the 1st and 5th Combined Divisions have been sent to reinforce alongside elements of the Special Intervention Group. Combat operations are expected to continue in the near future.

Likewise, in a major political coup, the Free State of Fiume was peacefully annexed. Fearful of Adruvish expansion in the Mediterranean, the small city's Ithran majority welcomed the arrival of 11th Motorized Brigade into the city. The leaders of the city symbolically surrendered power to the Ithran Representatives, Foreign Minister Tania Aggio. Minister Aggio, a major player in both the Fiume and earlier Adriatic and Piedmont annexations, announced that "This was a bold new step for Ithra, one on the road to a united and stronger Ithra."

Privyet, and welcome to Kanal 13, Yottabotan National News. Our tops story of this week involves a new wave of territorial claims by our great nation. As our expansion into Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan continues, the Yottabotan government has also annexed the far-eastern section of Russia, claiming the temperate rainforests of that region. These claims in the far east will assist in domestic creation of tires and rubber products, as well as types of wood not native to our nation. Meanwhile back here in Yottabota, the total capitulation of Georgia has finally occurred as their capital, Tbilisi has been annexed via military intervention of the Mountaineer Division of the Red Army. Tali Zalore went to the capital after its capture to congratulate the commander in charge of the assault, as well as host a banquet for the brigade that lead the assault. We welcome our new Georgian brothers and sisters with open arms. In related news, a small squad of Special 57 agents were successful in their mission of capturing the island state of Saint Tome. The new state will serve as a naval base for Yottabota and it's LEN allies, but also as a favorable tourist spot.

Onto military news; In a joint affair between the Yottabotan. Hexian and Oshpenian military, a military exercise is currently underway on Osphen's Mediterranean border. The Yottabotan Mediterranean Fleet has been sent in, providing long range bombardment on the deserted coast line before Yottabotan and Oshpenian marines assault the beaches. The exercise employs the support of 1,500,000 Yottabotan troops and Hexus sending 150,000 of it's troops with Oshpen sending 100,000 of it's finest men and women. After the marines secure the beaches, the bulk of Yottabotan and Oshpenian armed forces deploy onto the beaches and move onward to Latakia. F-16s and SU-35s provide and ensure air superiority as the Paratrooper divisions of the Red Army land miles off from the beach. The exercise will take the allied forces into the city of Hamah, where Supreme General Ivan Pavluchenko is awaiting with Osphenian General Arshia Maret and Marshal Julius Militaru of the Hexian military to deliver a speech of national security and the mission to defend LEN and it's allies from those who threaten it's sovereignty... Oh? Hold on we've just received word that the forces have just reached the city of Latakia in a less than five hours. The joint armor divisions as well as the Mountaineering Divisions quickly took beach forces across the mountains and over the Orontes river into Hamah. Truly a marvelous feat by the joint military forces.

In other news the Festival of Warships continues on, with Grozny Academy being eliminated from the tournament after a devastating defeat from Kizlyar Technical. However the tournament the next match for the Kizlar team has been pushed back as the captain of the team received minor injuries after the previous skirmish. She is assumed to make a full recovery. The next skirmish is scheduled to be between the Astrakhan Academy for Girls and Aktau Regional.

Finally, after much deliberation and pressure from outside opinions, Madam Zalore has lifted the ban on foreign media reporting within Yottabota. The ban was placed during our countries' more volatile period, but in order to accept the changing times Madam Zalore was tasked with making a decision. With the lifting of the ban, foreign sources may now enter Yottabota, and are protected by our countries policy with freedom of speech and of the press.

The Adruvish East India Company, one of the Nations oldest Companies still around, under the same name and structure, has recently taken steps to re-establish Adruvish Trade in the Far East with the following actions. After negotiations with The Sonacist Meritocratic of Mes, the dominant power in Asia, which Adruvain has recovering and growing relations with, the Company set forth on it's territorial ambition for the crown. In joint actions with the Adruvish Royal Navies transports and the a quarter of the home squadron, has transported to the Archipelago of the Maldives some 5,000 Infantrymen under Company control, and have asserted AEIC control upon the island, and has established a Trade Port and Custom house, within the former Maldivian capital of Malé. Naval Base Construction in Cassinopa, Fleet Deployed to Black Sea

Minister of Defense Damyan Novitsky has confirmed the started construction of a Drucezchskian Naval Base in Cassinopa. Novitsky has stated that this Naval base will be used to deploy ships in protection details, as well as national defense as agreed to by the government of Cassinopa. A list regrading the fleet's ships and numbers is to be released in the Military Factbook of Drucezchski later today. Two separate fleets are to be deployed, one in the Mediterranean Sea, as well as one in the Black Sea. The Drucezchskian Ambassador is also to communicate today with the government of Ithra on this matter.

Tsujan Trade, Warships Imported

Earlier today Minister of Defense Damyan Novitsky had released a press statement confirming the a trade deal between Tsujan and Drucezchski. The deal's manifesto details that Drucezchski will give Tsujan est. 14,000 tons of Uranium, a 75% reduced tariff, and a 20% discount on petroleum, for 4 Izumo-Class Helicopter Destroyers and 23 Sejong The Great-Class Destroyers.
This deal was likely played out to strengthen relations between Tsujan and Drucezchski, as well as secure Drucezchski as a Naval Superpower in the international community.

After many years of division, the Parzalian People can finally look to the future with hope, because at approx. 4:56 PM, Viklan Von Lichinstein, announced the annexation of what he said to be "Rightfully Parzalian lands"
The, what he called, "The Unification Act" was finalized today with the appropriate documents signed between many nearby Parzalian countries, with talks between other's already underway.

Many have expressed joy and elation and have gone to the streets waving Parzal's flag and singing the countries anthem. When interviewed, many said that they believe the road to finally unifying Parzal was now in reach. Privyet, our top story of the night involves a near fatal accident during the Festival of Warships which concluded last night with a spectacular finale. The teams from Astrakhan Academy for Girls and Kizlyar Technical School fought for a record 2 days until the flagship of the Kizlyar team was put under by a volley of artillery fire from Astrakhan UYN Marat. However, just when the whistle was blow, one of the Kizlyar ship experienced a mechanical malfunction, causing one of the cannons to accidentally fire and destroy the bridge of the UYN Diana. The captain, deputy-captain, and chief engineer were gravely wounded and have been taken to Kiev for intensive care. The remaining bridge crew suffered severe blunt trauma from the high explosive round, and two are currently being treated for 3rd degree burns. This is the worst incident to have happened during the festival since the incident of 2003, in which five students were killed when a shell impacted the ammo storage unit. Tali Zalore is said to visit the injured students and as well make a speech at the Astrakhan Academy to congratulate them on a successful festival. The Kizlar team are currently in custody but will be released once technicians inspect the ship's cannons.

Maranhok and Donau Join the Union!

It was announced at midnight last night that Archduchies of Maranhok and Donau have signed an agreement to join the Union. The two regions have a combined population of 25,450,000 residents, and both have a booming economy thanks to increased trade between the Reich, the Archduchies, and the outside nations of the Eldenian Commonwealth. Wiesbaden am Breigsau has applauded this move, as the new relationship between Wiesbaden am Breigsau and the Archduchies will be beneficial on both ends, as the Reich shall tap into the two region's booming economies, and the two regions will have more financial resources to invest into infrastructure and the economy.

At dawn, the Third Amerikanisch Division marched into the Maranhokisch Capital, Oranjeburg, and raised the Amerikanish Flag on the flagpole outside the main government buildings. The same occurred in the Donisch Capital, Julietadlersburg, with the Second Amerikanisch Division peacefully occupying the region. The two Archduchies, although being incorporated into the Union, will still maintain part of their militaries, of which 100,00 in each State will be re-assigned as the State Freikorps. The Freikorps of these new States will ditch their old, outdated weapons and will be provided weapons from the Armories controlled by the National Government that are located in all the State Capitals, and new Armories will be constructed in Julietadlersburg and Oranjeburg.

Four months on from the initial invasion of Libya, sources within the Egyptian government are reporting that they are no closer to ensuring control over the country than they were the invasion began. Government Overthrown, Vozhd Presumed Dead

Vozhd Confirmed Dead, Parliament Drafts Constitution

The militants who've stormed the Parliamentary Building and Palace iz Vozhd have released pictures confirming the Vozhd is dead. Parliament has now agreed to the militants demands, and is drafting a constitution for the newly named country, The Armed Federation of Drucezchski.
The newly appointed Chancellor, Vladik Orlov promises to release as much information to the citizens of Drucezchski as soon as possible, and assures his fellow citizens that he is here to help, and to return Drucezchski to it's former constitutional glory.

Parliament/Minister System Established, Treaty of Ithra Declared Void

Parliament has established a Parliamentary law making system, as well as a minister system to the Chancellor. The government structure and constitution are further being adjusted and made.

Chancellor Vladik Orlov has declared the Treaty of Ithra between Yottabota and Drucezchski void, stating "Our plans for imperial expansion East remain as they once did, but we will no longer keep our boarders demilitarized.
