Today, Adruvish Diplomats, officially sent by his majesty King Augustus and Prime Minister Carlston, have arrived in the Balerian Capital city of Celton, with the obvious intent of doing something which Adruvain had tried a few years prior. To Purchase Baleria (Northern Ireland). Crowds of Balerian's in favor of Staying with the Balerian homeland assembled along the Adruvish Route, trying to block them from getting to Von Wolfgang Palace, and chucking the Adruvishmen's stereotypical meal of choice, Roast Beef at them, nearly shattering the Wind shield once. Yet still after being blocked from the Palace nearly four times, the Adruvish Diplomats finally arrived at Von Wolfgang Palace to begin the negotiations.

Drucezchskian Ballistic Missiles fired At Shimazu Empire

Officials in the Drucezchskian Marine Troop have confirmed to DNG News that two Medium Range Ballistic Missiles have been fired from Fort Valor in Taiwan and are targeting the Shimazu Empire. Marines stationed on Taiwan have unofficially speculated that the missiles contain the newly designed Perses warheads. We have not gotten confirmation at this point as to where the missiles are exactly targeting, but speculate major military or economic locations in Shimazu.

Military Cooperation Agreement Reached with the Mesian Commonwealth

Groundbreaking news has surfaced this afternoon when the Amerikaner Ministry of State for Asia-Pacific announced that the Eldenian Commonwealth has signed a military cooperation agreement with Mes, as well as the member nations of the Mesian Commonwealth. This agreement will have both promise to aid each other militarily, essentially setting up and declaring an alliance between the two organizations. The news has been perceived rather well by citizens of most EC nations, yet Amerikanen were split on the matter, with 48% disapproving, 42% approving, and 10% unsure.

As tension in south Eastern Asia has exploded into armed conflict, the Amerikanen and Mesians have ended up fighting side by side, each impressing the other with their incredible bravery and valor on the field. As such, the Mesian Commonwealth and the Eldenian Commonwealth decided to continue its military cooperation, effectively creating a coalition of two of the world's most powerful and prestigious alliance systems. As such, it is hoped by both the Mesian Commonwealth and the Eldenian Commonwealth will both prosper be issue of this particular agreement.

New technologies are key to success on the battlefield, which is why Holography and Yotspetsexport are teaming up to create a Holographic Heads Up Display (HHUD™) to assist our soldiers with real time satellite mapping as well as other undisclosed features to make our soldier more efficient and safe. These displays are currently in testing and mass distribution is set for later this year.

Meanwhile Valenta Pharma has announced their ongoing progress in the bio-cybernetic field. As of late the company has doubled its efforts in creating fully functional robotic limbs for paraplegics and worse. According to the 2018 census, about 1 of every 250 Yottabotans are in need of a wheel chair due to either workplace accidents or battle. The company has stated that their goal right now are for bionic limbs to be available to all by 2021.

"A motion is proposed," came the booming voice of the Senate Speaker, all but shattering the uneasy silence which had filled the Senate Floor around the upcoming vote, "Those in favour, make it known..."

Damion glanced around the room from his point at the centre seat of the Quorum table, which was located between the two 'prongs' of the concavely positioned Senatorial seats, as the penny dropped. The silence returned to the room for a brief few moments before he stood up alongside a handful of other Senators, his head bowed as he rubbed his wrists. The action elicited concerned murmurs from the Senate as a few others stood up after Damion before all eyes were drawn from the Director to Tiberius Gratius Rufinian, a noted political expert within the Senate and an experienced, long standing holder of his office - typically his views and stance on a matter could swing a vote in a particular direction, usually the one he desired - who was also standing in support of the motion, with on hand behind his back and the other resting on the fabric of the traditional senatorial toga praetexta (a white toga with a broad red stripe on its border, which was worn over a tunic with two broad, darker red vertical stripes).

Damion and Tiberius shared a moment of eye contact as a stunned silence hung in the air, with Tiberius giving a small twitch of a smile to the Director before he vanished behind the row of Senators in front of him as they all stood up in favour of the vote. What had initially been a trickle of support for the vote erupted into a tidal wave as a domino effect of trust and political affluence drew nearly all of the Senate to their feet, murmuring between each other as they did so.

The speaker looked around the silent room for a moment longer from his position between Damion and the Senate before bashing his ceremonial staff against the marble floor twice to announce the vote, "The motion is carried by clear numbers!"

Damion glanced at the other Quorum members before he left his side of the table, adjusting his Directorial Garb - the toga picta; which was similar to the senatorial toga praetexta, only it was dyed solid purple, embroidered with gold, and worn over a similarly decorated tunic - for a moment before walking to the centre of the room. He looked over the ranks of the Senate before holding one of his hands in the air, resting the other on his tunic around his abdomen.

"My fellow Senators, who represent the right honourable wishes of both Tarazed and her people," the Director began, his voice booming around the Senate floor and echoing slightly off of the walls; though his voice was loud, his tone was solemn as he proceeded, "This is not a vote any of us wanted to make. For this is not a war we wanted, nor is it a war we desired to partake in," Damion's face twitched slightly as he scrunched up his airborne hand into a fast and pointed it in the direction of the South China Sea, with his voice quickly taking on a more hostile tone as his eyes glanced off of one of the several cameras in the room, "This is a war forced on us by the Shimazu Empire, a people so blinded by their nationalistic ideals and love for their Emperor that they seek their own futile gain in this conflict," Damion paused for a moment, sweeping his fist low before returning both of his hands to his sides, "Regardless of its terrible effect on other sovereign nations - ours included," His tone was tempered to a point as the Director waved his left hand in a dismissive manner, clearly talking down his nose at the people of the Shimazu Empire, "This reckless attitude cannot - and will not - be allowed to persist, the forces of the Shimazu Empire will," he clenched the same hand back into a fist and shook it vigorously above his head as he continued, "By the decree of this vote, bend-the-knee to Tarazedian and Mesian Commonwealth forces, thereby surrendering their arms and equipment - or be destroyed," Damion added that last part as if it was little more than an afterthough, he paused for a moment as Senator's started getting to their feet, clearly supporting what the Director was saying, "This is a war we neither wanted nor started, of that you can make no mistake, but," Damion's voice cracked through the air like righteous thunder as he smashed the fist into his other palm, "By the blood of Tarazed itself - it is a war we shall finish! Now!" The Tarazedian Director looking around the room and raised his fist again, "Ad Victoriam!"

A rallying cry, to which the Senate bellowed a deafening, "Ad Victoriam!"

"Ad Victoriam!" Damion repeated as the room erupted into a thunderous applause; the drums of war had started their beat, the First Fleet would leave port next week and by the end of the month Leyte Gulf would be under their control.

The nations of Whitmore, Amerika and Scotatrova have approved a treaty to co-operate on military matters and provides a step forward for relations between the three nations and hopes to further coordinate their efforts for collective defense for the preservation of peace and security pending the development of a more comprehensive system of regional security in the Atlantic Area. The treaty further recognizes that Whitmore and Amerika as members of the Eldenian Commonwealth and Scotatrova as a member of the Eurasian League of Nations have military obligations outside as well as within the Atlantic Area.

Each party recognizes that an armed attack on any of the parties would be dangerous to its own peace and safety and declares that it would act to meet the common danger in accordance with its constitutional processes.

Article V

For the purpose of Article IV, an armed attack on any of the parties is deemed to include an armed attack on the metropolitan territory of any of the parties, or on the island territories or other holdings under its jurisdiction or on its armed forces, public vessels or aircraft.

Article VI

The parties hereby establish a Council, consisting of their Foreign Ministers or their Deputies, to consider matters concerning the implementation of this treaty. The Council should be so organized as to be able to meet at any time.

Article VII

This treaty shall be ratified by the parties in accordance with their respective constitutional processes. The instruments of ratification shall be deposited as soon as possible with the Government of Scotatrova, which will notify each of the other signatories of such deposit. The Treaty shall enter into force as soon as the ratifications of the signatories have been deposited.

Article VIII

Good day, comrades. As recently reported by Secretary Arno of the Office of Science and Technology, a plan to solve Ithra's energy needs has been unveiled. Ithra's top nuclear engineers have constructed a small-scale, modular, nuclear reactor. The parts of the reactor can be manufactured en masse in factories and assembled easily. A small subterranean facility is then constructed to house the miniature reactor where it is accessible via a special elevator on the surface. The government plans to switch off the current power plant that provides electricity to Rome and build anywhere from 20-40 of these mini-reactors beneath the city to power it. From there, the reactors will be carefully observed to insure their usefulness, and if all goes well, eventually they will be distributed to all of Ithra. Hopefully, this will solve the looming global energy crisis and keep Ithra away from greedy, oil-fueled conflict. Thank you for your time, and farewell.

Bulgarian announcement over the East Congo debate
Bulgaria wishes to express its congratulations to Westburg at sucessfully taking over from the collapsing New Anatolian state, and wish it the best of luck in its newfound independence. After some deliberation, it was decided to treat Westburg as a direct successor state to New Anatolia in the deal over east Congo. As long as the Westberg empire deigns to stay out of the Mesian commonwealth, the reigon known in the agreement as east congo will be left in Westberg's control, and only in the event of Westberg joining the MC would east congo need to be repossesed by the Bulgarian government. BUlgaria again expresses its congratulations to westberg, and hopes their government will continue on the Bulgarian-friendly path that was set down by New Anatolia.

Bulgaria has been sourcing more material from Scotarova, and the opposite seems true as well. though in the past the countries have been at odds, those times are in the past. Shinra a Nieblham company has invested in Westberg's Anti-Desertification Program. Shinra has invested 10 billion Corona into the project. The program budget is 50 billion Corona. More than 1 million jobs will be added to the Westbergain economy. Millions of subtropical trees, grasses, and bushes in the desert. On top of that a manmade five will be constructed along with several manmade lakes and ponds. This project began in January of this year. The projects goal is to stop desertification, cool down the country and make it rain more. It is possible there could be an increase of agriculture. The government hopes this project will slow down climate change and will be a success.

Bulgaria wishes to remind the nation of Westberg that the territory it calls the East congo was Bulgarian before it was Westbergian, was only ceded as long as the local government did not join the MC, and was ceded to WestBerg's predecessor on the condition that they not join the MC. Bulgaria also states that its intentions are not simply to expand its borders, but to enforce the terms of the agreement made over East congo.

Bulgaria has stated that while war will not happen(as it would be bad for both sides), Bulgaria has enacted sanctions and an embargo on Westberg, and urges other LEN member states to do the same. In addition, the Bulgarian-controlled Gibraltar and Bosporus will be closed off to the Westberg nation, until such a point as they agree to honour the terms of the agreement made over east Congo. Bulgarian officials insist that this is not an act of Hostility, but also say that they cannot be seen as people who you can simply break deals with whenever you feel like it.

Bulgaria has sent a missive to the leaders of the Mesian commonwealth, asking if they support Westberg in this endeavour.

The Ministry of Industrial and Technological Development announced today a new industrialization program, aimed to re-ignite the industrial sectors of the Amerikaner economy. The programs aim to construct 7,500 new factories across the Großreich, creating one and a half million new jobs within the next 5 years. The new building projects aim to re-invigorate the technology and automobile sectors of the economy, focusing on the development of new technologies and production of high quality products to be sold on both the local markets and global markets. In total, the project is estimated to cost 7.5 billion Coronas, and 5 years to complete. Upon the completion, the new industrial sectors will be sold to the major Amerikaner technology and manufacturing companies, and the Amerikanisch Government will receive 25% of all profits from this new industrial sector for the following 4 years.

a. They will renounce all claims to the lands, titles and territories of Tsuijang.
b. They will accept the guidance of advisers from the nations of Tarazed, Greater Adruvian, Tsuijang, Nielbham, Amerika, Mes and NEO Rome.
2. The Shimazu military will be scaled down and dismantled to serve only as a self defense force against foriegn agression.
a. The Shimazu Self-Defense Force (SSDF) will be constrained to less than 0.1% of the civillian population (To a limit of no more than 175,000 men) in terms of total manpower (including reserves).
b. The SSDF will have a budget which will never exceed 1.5% of GDP (45 billion World Coronas).
3. Shimazu will adopt a 'non-expansionist policy' there by agreeing not to expand her territories beyond those of Indonesia.
a. Shimazu's territories in the Philippines will be demilitarised.
b. Shimazu's territories in North Sumatra will be demilitarised.
c. Shimazu's territories in South Sumatra will be demilitarised.
4. Shimazu will remove all obstacles to the revival and strengthening of democratic tendencies among the Shimazu people. Freedom of speech, of religion, and of thought, as well as respect for the fundamental human rights shall be established.
5. Shimazu shall be permitted to maintain such industries as will sustain her economy and permit the exaction of just reparations in kind, but not those which would enable her to rearm for war. To this end, access to, as distinguished from control of, raw materials shall be permitted. Eventually, Shimazu will be permitted to participate in world trade relations (See 6).
6. Shimazu will join the Mesian Commonwealth (MC) as a member state when she is economically stable.
a. Shimazu will be unable to use its veto to override MC treaties for the first 10 years of membership.
7. Shimazu will cede the following territories to the Mesian Commonwealth and her allies.
a. Riau Islands to the MC.
a.1 The MC are also requesting that the Riau Islands be donated to them as show of good faith in the deal, in return they are offering greater economic assistance in rebuilding areas destroyed during the conflict.
b. Borneo to Grand Adruvian.
