Hello, and welcome to Wiking Nordland news channel.

Politics :

Our Jarl, Yngvar Ragnvaldr has achieved his travel to Nachfolgian nation, our reporters got news that our Jarl has been pleased by the hospitality of Nachfolgians, as they consider themselves Sons of Odin too, and having the confort to be able to talk in Norse, our language.
The delegation lead by Hans Dorr has successfully arrived in Exilvania, however, we didn't got a lot of news from them after. Hopefully they have been welcomed well !

Economics :

Following the reforms instituted by Yngvar + Financial and economics ministers, the Cheese industry is rising up from scratch again. Our traditional cheeses will no longer be imported from our Scandinavian brothers, but made by ourselves again. This is another great success after the sudden rise of Timber industry back again in the country. The government aim is now to build a solid agriculture industry on the deforested fields, in strong coordination with ecological matters. The idea is that all towns inside the country have their own agricultural lands in order to be even more food self-sufficient, in addition with our very powerful Fishing industry.

Military :

- The reorganization of the army continues, however, due to the absence of both our Jarl and Defence minister, this is still at a standstill. Once the government will deliver us the results from the Exilvanian-Muchanian-Wikinger council, we will announce you more.

Miscellanous :

Due to the reforms of our Jarl, the religious Norse men are currently rioting in some different towns at the time in order to receive more funds from the government and rise again the religion within the country. We interviewed one of the rioters who claimed that the Atheism rate of the nation is crazily too high, and that people should believe in the Norse Mythology and religion instead of just learn and respect it. The police managed to supervise them without harms.

Weather report :

Tomorrow, a cloudy weather is expected in most of the country. It will be rainy in the East in the morning, and this will moove slowly to the west during the remaining of the day.

" Guten Abend, Herr Aleman and esteemed guests. I am Dr. Friedrich Buchenau of the world famous Waffen-SS. I would like to personally welcome you to our glorious Reich. I assure you that you will enjoy your time in our beautiful country. If you will follow us, we will escort you to the Friederike Adler Hotel." The tall man said in an unusually cheerful tone.

Friedrich and the Lebenian delegation climbed into the SUVs and the convoy drove out of the airport. During the entire route to the hotel, Friedrich couldn't stop talking. He went on and on about how glorious the Reich was, all the technological advances Nachfolgia has accomplished as well as all its military conquests.

Within a few minutes, the convoy pulled up to the hotel. A couple of the guards got out and opened the door for the young doctor and the delegates. " This is the famous Friederike Adler Hotel, owned by Frau Friederike Adler. Frau Adler opened this hotel on August 12, 1994. For over two decades, the hotel has hosted delegates from all over the world and several high ranking officials in the Reich. I hope you enjoy the most extravagant hotel in the Reich."

Friederike Adler Hotel

Frau Adler was standing at the front desk in the lobby of her hotel. She was busy typing in registry information into the computer and didn't see Herr Haegler walk up to the desk. When the man knocked on the counter, Friederike quickly looked up. " Ah, Herr Haegler! I didn't see you walk up. Is there anything I can help you with today?" Friederike said with a smile.

It was then that Haegler asked why she was putting on a facade "I-I have no idea what you're implying, Herr Haegler? I assure you, there is no facade." Friederike said as she chuckled a little bit. Haegler continued to press the question until the middle aged woman gave up.

" The Obersterfuhrurin said that you were a clever man, Herr Haegler. There really is no getting past you, hmmm? My Obersterfuhrurin gave all of us strict orders to 'play nice'. She wanted us to downplay our hatred of foreigners and to provide all delegates with the epitome of customer service. It is nothing personal against you, it's just the way we are. With our collective views on the world, we have to be wary of all auslanders." Friederike said in a serious tone as her tired eyes natrowed.

Heinrich Krieger was sitting nearby watching Haegler talk to Friederike. When the delegate motioned him over, Heinrich reluctantly got out of his seat and walked over to the front desk.

" Herr Haegler, it's only been a couple of hours. Why are you so excited to see me?" Heinrich said, kind of annoyed. He had a hard time keeping up the nice facade. As the two men talked, Friederike dealt with the Lebenian delegates that just arrived.

Heinrich listened to Haegler as he explained why he was looking at all the women in uniform. He did not expect someone who held so much power to be checking out women. Nachfolgian women were gorgeous so he didn't blame the delegate, but it was still very strange. The Nachfolgian way of courting was vastly different than the rest the world, focusing more on genetics and fertility than beauty.

" Yes well, Nachfolgians come from good stock. Every Nachfolgian must serve and wear that uniform. We all must do our part for the Reich, including the children. For the age of six, we are trained for war. You could say that Nachfolgians are bred to wear the Wehrmacht uniform." Heinrich replied to Haegler.

The man in the respirator listened as the delegate began asking him questions. Sure enough, it was about Heinrich' s respirator. The man wanted to know how he ended up with it and if he really needed it.

" I was severely burned in Zaida when my APC was hit by an artillery shell. The Reich was on the small island nation in a minor engagement against the Qing Empire of Minroz. We were there to aid a group of secessionist, but ended up betraying them to take the island for ourselves. I had severe burns over most of my body and my lungs were permanently damaged. The respirator aides in breathing by cycling pure oxygen through it."

" If you look closely, you will always see Nachfolgians who have put their bodies on the line for our people. Frau Adler over there, she lost a leg and a son in Bordurian. We all willingly sacrificed for the Reich and the Obersterfuhrurin. We wouldn't have it any other way."

Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor

Exilvania
Das Ödland
Southern Ödland
Herzer Mountain Range
Festung Herzreißer

After only several hours of travel the delegation in the train had finally reached the localization where the meeting should be held. During the trip there hadn`t been much to see except the neverending brown wastes and watchtowers of the Iron Legion. Sometimes there where Military convoys driving over streets in the wasteland, sometimes there were sprawling industrial complexes or massive open cast mining complexes. From the waggon the delegates could see that the Exilvanians were mining lots of ore which seemed to be put to good use in the factories they saw. What was the most striking though was, that the Exilvanians seemed to extensively mine some strange purple crystal.

But back to where they are now. The train had entered the Herzer Mountain Range about 15 minutes ago and was driving with highspeed through tunnels or over bridges. And then, after they had driven around a large mountain, they finally saw their destination. It was located upon a more wide than high mountain and it was fucking huge. Three long bridges spanned over the deep abysses separating the castle walls and the nearby streets and railroads and they were now driving right over one of them.

As they got closer and closer to the castle they could make out more and more details. The first one coming to mind were probably the signs of age the castle bore. But the castles walls seemed to be thick and very well built as well as loosely maintained by the Exilvanians so it was not expected for the fortress to break down all by itself yet even by force. The wall presented the delegation a admirable array of high caliber AT guns built into said wall. On top of towers or bastions AA installments were located and in the countless yards of the castle all sorts of artillery pieces stood ready. And the way into the castle was blocked by a massive, sinister looking gate made out of the hardest steel. A gate which luckily opened because if not then the delegates would`ve been puree.

And so they went deep into the castle or the insides of the mountain it had been built upon. But the train was already slowing down quickly and it wasn`t long that it stopped at an underground train station. It was actually lit by fires and not by good electrical lights. And here a whole battalion of soldiers stood ready and immediately jumped into action when the train stopped, beginning to unload crates from it. A much smaller part of the readied troops though formed an espalier at the exit of the delegates`s special waggon. Kopfschuss would make the delegates hurry up and once the first delegate exited the waggon all the soldiers in the espalier raised their right arm in perfect synchronization while shouting:

HEIL!

They kept their arms raised all the time while Kopfschuss led the delegates through them and into the castle itself. While going through the underground corridors of the castle, the delegates would easily notice that often the corridors were lit by fires and torches. And there also were constant screams of pain and agony heard in the far distance though the delegates could never really determine out of which direction it came. The whole complex seemed to be a labyrinth. Even though there were Exilvanians every it would be really hard for the delegates to keep the way they came from in mind.

After a 30 minute walk through the castles underground facilities they slowly got into areas where the light was already electrical. There Kopfschuss suddenly led them to a huge Kaiser Vlad portrait. Ordering a few guards to force the delegates to look the other way, he then quickly removed a brick from right next to the portrait. Behind the brick was a small keyboard and he quickly typed in the password. Afte that a sudden beep sound could be heard and once he had put the brick back where it belonged the portrait swung aside, revealing that it had in truth been a very thick and hidden steel door.

And when they entered the room behind they would get to see that it was actually large. Steel concrete walls were everywhere and dozens of Exilvanians were sitting at desks with computers or other machinery, shouting orders, taking orders and request, and generally administering the Ödland Süd Sektor. In the middle pf the room was a large table with a great map of Nazi Europa on it, showcasing all the nations as well as most of their respective landscapes. Exilvania though was special. And in front of that large map stood a lonely officer. He showed the delegates his back and was looking at the map however, he did seem to have something in each of his hands which he had put behind his back. And then he began to speak with his muffled voice:

"What an incredible honour to have the most competent Military Personnel of Wiking Nordland and Muchania here in our modest hellhole of a fortress. I heard both delegations experienced certain...inconveniences?

With that he turned around and slowly walked towards the delegates standing at the very front untill he was standing right in front of them.

"My name is Erich Rubbel, I`m Generalfeldmarschall of the Heer and in command of the Ödland Süd Sektor. Now, please, take this present from our side. I think it will potentually come in handy in our meeting."

With that he gave both delegates a small box. If the delegates were to open them they would find small miniatures in them, depicting standard soldiers of their nation. Rubbel of course hadn`t just planned on giving them one kins of miniature. With an inviting gesture he pointed at several more boxes. Within them the delegates would find miniatures of helicopters, planes, tanks, artillery, ships, submarines etc.

Reception

"Oh my! You flatter me Frau Adler..."

, Haegler whispered when she attended to the new guests. He then finally refocused on Heinrich. Heinrich was almost making him laugh though.

"PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!

Good stock! Oh gosh, I almost had to laugh. Reminds me of our birthing production rules. Only peope who haven`t yet contracted the Wasteland Lung Cancer are allowed to reproduce, making sure that we don`t carry diseases through the genrations.

Hmmmmpf!
Every citizen serves? Would`ve limited it to the men. They are still superior in that business and with my short living citizens I really need all the time I get to bring them into the factories so that they can be productive. I cannot waste my women into the military. Atleast I give the male population a military education. Though I do like to sort them out already in that process. I don`t need bad soldiers who have ended in my military by force and are genetically unable to become bette soldiers. They also get the factories. Or maybe ZZ if they`re lucky.

Oioioi! Interesting! Supporting and then betraying secessionists. One of my favourite businesses. Back in my time before the 2. Battalion Wars I had my fun with those in the Anglo Isles. Actively supporting the Irlander and the Kiltsmen secessionist movements. Didn`t work out in the end though. We could`ve made soo much different and especcially better if we would`ve had a better Military but the 1. Battalion wars had cost us too much.

And don`t try to tell me anything about duty and shit. I have probably served longer and harder than you. I participated in 4 fucking major wars and was also very active in the Secret Service Department. I have risked my life for Exilvania and the Kaiser often enough and I`d do so again anytime. Atleast I either have lots of luck or lots of skill because I never had to suffer from permament wounds.

But well, I better get back to my delegates. They usually get bored from not having to work for too long and I really don`t need the hotel personnel to be harmed. It wouldn`t exactly benefit me considering what Frau Adler had just told me about your perspective against foreigners. Ups! Was I not supposed to tell that?
Ah well, I guess Frau Adler can look after herself.

Auf Wiedersehen..."

And with that Haegler left the reception and returned to his delegation which had actually managed to get all the beds they needed. Sadly, this also came with a price. They had managed to put quite a lot of scratches into the door. Haegler wondered how Hotel staff would react upon noticing.

Vichei France is a minor nation within Nazi Europa, however we control large untapped amounts of oil and as such are afraid of foreign aggression. Our military is one of the best and our economy stays afloat from the large agriculture exports.

Vichei French military commanders view Exilvania with suspicion, having convinced themselves that the island nation was plotting to try and take their (Vichei Frances) oil. The President Joseph Daimler has dispatched an envoy to Volksgard and hope that negotiations can take place, Vichei France is most interested in acquiring steel in large quantities.

Friederike Adler Hotel, Nachfolgia

High Prince of Azgoghk, esteemed noble Corwin Qorrashi was literally sitting on a pile of crates filled with bottles of Azgoghkian Black Gin of Doom. Actually, his suite was wide enough, almost royal, Corwin just enjoyed sitting on the alcohol crates. It reminded him of his childhood.
"Servants" he ordered "Someone find the owner of this hotel and ask for place, where we could demonstrate some Azgoghkian culture to every guest here. As soon as we are able to find such room, serve all the booze there and ask all delegates to come there and enjoy the greatest part of Azgoghkian culture.
If the delegates of other nations will come there, maybe I will go and greet them myself. And also arrange for another cargo plane filled with gin to come here. We cannot risk running out of gin, and we must have extra reserves for the meeting itself."

"And serve me some proper Mountain Blood cocktail. Actuallt, start with the last order."

Azgoghkian Embassy, Of Leben

"This is perfect" Sapra Qorrashi said "We are not shot and not arrested and it seems we will be able to complete our mission after all."
Lebenian guards had not detained them, so Azgoghkian delegates were able to purchase a building in the capital for embassy use and even appoint an ambassador. Sure, Lebenians still had not acknowledged this ambassador and no trade agreement was in effect yet...but that was the work for the ambassador, not the royals. Sapra and her ill-tempered father, Akabar Qorrashi, was preparing to leave Of Leben - mainly because they still feared that they would be deported and that would leave a bad mark on Lebenian-Azgoghkian relations. As the Lebenian government had ignored them and they were not asked to see any leading person of Lebenian government, both royals felt, that it is only a question of time, when they will be told to leave.
"Heh," Akabar mused "It is fitting to let the ambassador take all the diplomatic sh-t, that Lebenians may throw at them. That's the politicians main purpose anyway."

After that long walk through this labyrinth, Hans dorr and his delegation finally arrived to this big room, and his eyes directly spotted this lovely strategic map of NE, it reminded him when he used to play as a kid on same kind of maps during wargames against the other pupils of the military academy. he briefly made a move with his hand after he got the box to show the way to his delegation, the side of the table with the North of NE map.

- This is a pleasure to meet you both in person. We have a lot to discuss, so let's begin.
This giant stood upright in order to be heard more clearly.

- I shall begin to present you the nation i represent there. Because of the new policy of our leader, we are diversifying our economy, thus, we hit our huge specialization in the arms manufacturing sector, so we don't have a capacity to export a lot as we used to. The consumption of our civilians about guns, the maintenance and R&D for our military suck up is already a lot to "feed", but we still subsidy a lot this part of our industry so that we never miss anything.

He begins to open the box and put little figurines of soldiers, planes and boats on the map. In the same time, the delegation offers tablets to the Muchanians and Exilvanians in order to show them their army strength of this report .
- Here is our present Order of Battle. We specialized a lot our army in order to use our rough winter climate and natural mountains border to our advantages. This way, we've been able to keep defense cost not so high, we're caring that our people doesn't get flooded by taxs. Quality over quantity is our motto. However, we have consequent offensive power due to our elites Nordska Einherjar and two Panzerarmee. I am curious to hear your best method about winning a war, but on our side, a violent and successful Blitzkrieg is the way we like to fight !
On the side of our navy, we built it a lot arround quite fast and stealthy frigates and destroyers with mid to long range missiles. However, we have the project to build one or two Aircrafts Carriers, this was a huge cost in our plans, but with our fresh trading deal with you, Exilvanians, that will probably be possible.

He suddenly scratch his jaw and look at the roof, before adding :
- I will let you talk now. If you have some questions or clarifications to ask, free to say it. I'm sure i've forgotten a lot of things to say, but i like some improvisation in my first speechs. I will take a look again at my notes later.

Yngvar Ragnvaldr was in a good mood, this trip in the Nachfolgian streets before to get to the hotel was refreshing, he had a nice discussion in Norse with a woman called "Siggi", except the little accident in order to clean the streets from rioters, they've been able to talk about the Norse mythology, and from where this woman came from more.
In a cheerful way, he looked in the direction of his assistant and told him :

- "Let's hope that Hans is in the same confortable situation than us. This travel is a nice surprise for the moment, I wasn't expecting such place."

He suddently began to pour an honey alcohol in his drinking horn, and shared the rest of the other bottles to the delegacy.

- "Celebrate and have fun tonight, so that you are fully focused and fresh from stress when the summit will actually begin."

He watched in direction of his honor guards

- "let's make an exception for you too, each guards can have 2 drinks of it, but not more. Security is important in all situation.

The party went by for a good chunk of the night, before the delegacy fall asleep for some hours ...

Downtown Konz-Leben, 8:57 AM

The city of Konz-Leben is starting to wake up from its drowsy morning activities as the sun rises above the skyscrapers and complexes of the large city. 1.7 million Lebenians inhabit the city, and as the day goes on this begins to become more noticeable. The sounds of taxis, buses, cars and trucks fill the streets of the city and the regular noises of pedestrians add a quaint familiar ambiance to city goers. Outside of the Azghokian embassy, a dark sedan sits inconspicuously across the street. Two intelligence agents sit in the car, with cameras and remote listening equipment in hand.

"how long do you suppose we will be in here?"

"i dont know" said the other agent.

"well its getting pretty damn boring sitting here. No chatter really worth a damn is being spoken. Not even the ladies next door are gossiping about anything either."

The senior agent turns to look at his partner. His expression quickly lets his junior colleague that he isnt amused.

"I'll just shut up know then......"

Another hour passes by, and the city routine proceeds as usual. Cars keep rolling by and pedestrian civilians continue life as usual.
Suddenly, another agent gets into the car in the backseat, and hands an envelope to the senior agent. He opens the envelope carefully and takes out a letter from the Department of foreign affairs. Its an invitation for the delagtes to come to the chancellery to come and discuss diplomatic matters.

"what is it boss?"

"its an invitation for them.... Come on, follow my lead you two."

The three agents walk out of the car wearing suits and the men put on their bowl hats, and put on shades.

"Its pretty hot out here isnt boss?"

"Weather report said it would be 37 degrees today. I'd be surprised if it didnt hit 38 in just a few hours."

The agents walked towards the building and rang the doorbell. The door opened and a young lady with a scar on her face greeted them.

"What do you need?"

The agents handed her the letter and she closed the door on them. The three agents looked at each other with a confused look when the door opened once again, this time with a fat man looking straight out of a comedy movie. The agents escorted the delegates through the downtown district without a single word, and where taken to the chancellery where they were greeted by a middle aged man wearing another suit.

"Greetings my esteemed colleagues, i suppose you came here for business, not vacation yes?"

With a big smile, he and a pair of maids bowed and led them into the chancellery where they were taken to a conference room to be formally introduced to Of Leben.

Royal Palace, throne room
The High King stared at the assembled Monarchs of the various Kingdoms that made up the unified empire of Columbia. The torches, candles, and fire pots filled the room with a mix of black and clear smoke making the large luxurious throne room, filled with Columbia weapons, gold, silver, and finest of tapestry, look all the more splendid and serious.
The High King tapped his fingers on the gold throne as a servant brought some fine tea for His Majesty to drink. The High King, Foley I, dismissed him with an absent minded wave. The Monarchs gave worried looks to one another.
"What is the status of the empire?" The King asked.
"The economy is failing. Trade has been sharply hit, the crop yield is expected to be only half of what is needed to feed everyone bare minimum, and the various parties are getting more membership then ever." One of the Monarchs answered.
The High King stood up and descended from the throne. The Monarchs and various Royal Guardsmen backed up nervously.
"And how goes the other nations of Nazi Europa?"
"All we know is that there is a interregional meeting going on in Nachfolgia, My Lord."
The King pushed past them and shouted for his men to get an airship ready. He had one mission now: Keep his empire from going to war.

The King Ba'al Abramelin Emeth V-Emeth grew tired in waiting, he decided to begin some business, he had the guards and staff of the hotel take him to the place where the delegates from the lebenian nation would be staying.

Upon meeting the chancellor and minister of defense the king spoke "Sieg Heil, Heil Viktoria. It is a pleasure to finally meet such great men from the nation of Leben. I would offer many pleasantries and small talk but I am not this type of man, and this is not the time for such. Let us get straight to business, in the name of my royal authority We The Corporate Theocratic Kingdom of The Hairy Men of God would like to extent a hand to you O' Lebenian nation, we wish to establish a free trade agreement and a military pact.
This Free trade agreement shall apply to all products and services that both of our nations offer, as is understood products and services normally banned would still not enter into your glorious nation as would they not enter into ours.
Let us allow the Bureaucrats the job of sorting out the particularities.
Any that attack you, we shall place ourselves against them. Any that attack us, you also should put yourself against them.
So what say you, glorious Lebenian nation? Shall you accept our agreement? If not how shall we improve the agreement? If you would be interested in anything that we may offer let it be made known to me."

Nachfolgian airfield
The plane slowly descended on the airfield the symbols of the Monarchy and Empire gleaming from its body in the bright sun.
The High King's Royal Guard exited first with their gunmetal black rifles scanning the airfield incase the meetup was a trap as the Monarchs feared. Then the High King descended the steps. The guards gave him the Roman Salute.
"At ease," he responded "we have work to do."
The guards led him to a motorcade of a fine and luxurious car escorted by four armored cars and two military trucks. The High King entered and soon they were on their way to the conference.

Festung Herzreißer, Southern Ödland, Exilvania, Time Undisclosed

The Reichsmarschall Staff along with the Minister of Economics seat themselves along the westerly side of the large map, where the Imperial German Domain lay. Marschal Heidrich stands and opens his mouth with a long breath. Before a word has a chance to leave his mouth, Marschal Georg also stands hastily, flipping through the paper in his hand like a playing cards.

"Uhh---before any other topics are brought to our attention, I would like to propose a sale that will satisfy the needs of your current Naval power conundrum, Herr Dorr,"

Heidrich slowly seats himself, glancing contemptuously at his colleague while drumming his finders upon the desk top.

"Our current quantity of aircraft carriers is far too expensive to maintain and exercise completely; we have produced nine thus far as of our latest military revitalization. Minister of Economics Edmund taps him on the shoulder to produce a single sheet of paper; Georg studies it briefly, then slides it across the desk to Hans. Here are the costs for all the facets of maintaining nine aircraft carriers, it is quite the detriment to our economy and our overall military effectiveness. As Reichsmarschall of the Seestreitkräfte, I am prepared to sell you the desired number of aircraft carriers to suite your needs at a much discounted cost just to get them off my hands. In the event that we should ever need to act on our military alliance, our power projection capabilities will be greatly increased."

Georg seats himself again and smirks at Heidrich, who slowly stands again with a long breath before speaking.

On the note of Marschal Georg, I would like to explain to both present delegations, a brief summation of the military capabilities of Muchania. Though the Wikingrs have agreed on a military alliance with us previously, I believe it is in fair and appropriate order to define what our nations strengths and weaknesses are, and especially at the benefit of the Exilvanians, for contemplation's sake."

He cranes his neck down to the papers spread sloppily before him.

Ever since its conception, Muchania has been of a martial culture; though we operate on policies of vehement defensiveness and isolationism, it has occurred to me, in recent time, that fellow Nazi European nations cannot operate on those principles no longer if we are to combat this great social and economic wave of change that loom over us. We must extend to one another to ensure that we all stay ahead of the tide.

He pauses and squints painfully for a brief moment then regains his composure.

The strongest and most populated arm of the Muchanian Angriffskraft is our Bodenkräfte, or Land Army. We have learned greatly from previous conflicts and the parties involved and have deduced the following: our infantry and motorized divisions are dependent upon each other. We use the concept of "mechanized infantry" to span the whole swath of infantry classifications, because without our vehicles, our infantry would get nowhere, and without our infantry, our vehicles would be left completely undefended. In addition, we employ a very high number of motor vehicles, wheeled and tracked, for virtually every usage possibly imaginable. Our 'command & control' 'electronic warfare' and 'artillery' departments of our Land Army are based entirely by vehicle; we view static emplacements involving the aforementioned are useless and counter productive. Our infantry structures are interesting, to say the least, and more easily explained when viewed than told.

Heidrich hands a copy of the same infantry dichotomy sheet to both delegations

"And from there, our infantry are grouped within the these units, which are again interesting in their structure."

Heidrich also provides copies of the organizational groupings of Muchania's infantry, and seats himself. The beanpole in blue, Marschal Josef, stands and prepares to continue.

"To keep a watchful eye on our men on the ground, the Luftfahrtkräfte is centered entirely around the support of the Bodenkräfte. It may come as a shock, and viewed as a deficiency, but our Air Forces are made up mostly of various designations of attack and utility helicopters; we only standardize on one fighter jet, completely lack short or long range bombers, and interceptor aircraft. For this, we make up with rotor wing superiority, which I believe upon inspection, both delegations will agree." Josef provides sheets expalining the intended role and specifications of his vehicles.

Marschal Franz-Adlar leans in to Josef's ear after he seats himself: "Way to toot your own horn to our hosts, kid." he mutters disapprovingly.

Marschal Georg springs up out of his seat again. "In addition, our naval power, despite currently possessing nine aircraft carriers, also has some interesting circumstances. Because of our defensive doctrines, our offensive naval power is relegated to a hefty fleet of destroyers and submarines, very similar to our fellow Wikingrs. In addition we employ MMCCs, or 'Muchanian Mass Cargo Carriers'. These operate at the behest of the Land Army, though are a material facet of the Naval Forces, and are used to transport troops, vehicles, supplies, and the like. Without further explanation, I am sure by now that both delegations can see why a military alliance could benefit us all. Our land forces are the finest in West Nazi Europa, but where we lack, our allies shall make up, and vice versa. Before we embarked on this journey, it was my responsibility to obtain a pre-notarized and and signed military pact by our Herr Geoffrey." He places the sheet in front of the Exilvanians.

The Reichsmarschall Staff simultaneously turn their gaze to the Minister of Economics who begins immediately. Exilvanian delegation, as I am sure you are very aware of by now, our military alone uses great quantities of oil. I understand that in this day and age, that this is a precious commodity and not everybody is willing to share. Muchania does have oil reserves, but we forbid the extraction of it because it is trapped far below the ice of the Province of Eireweite, the northern-most in our nation. Extracting the oil would come at the cost of disrupting the beautiful environment of Muchania and will only resort to such measures in the event of armed conflict. Any supplementation your nation could provide us in this regard would be appreciated more than you could ever know. And to ensure that you are interested in doing business with us. Herr Geoffrey has informed me personally that he is prepared to provide any material commodity that your nation is in need of or desires."

The Muchanian delegation waits in anticipation as the Wikingrs and Exilvanians clamor among themselves.

The pilot speaks aeronautical jargon with the Nachtfolgian air tower while lining up with the long runway. Upon landing, the squad of B.I.E operators give their weapons one final check before the ramp falls; because of the structure of a Special Forces Squad, it is quicker and more tactical to exit this way than via the side door. The first two to exit wield the long and heavy Anti Material Gewehr 13, A Muchanian indigenous weapon platform. They assume a prone position at the rear of the tail to acquire a front-and-back 180-degree field of view. The six resent B.I.E rifleman dismount and surround the airbus. Lastly, Geoffrey himself exits with baited breath, flanked by the last two squad mates armed with the SSG12/5, a shotgun whose operation and functionality are a copy of the Russian Saiga 12. A long silence ensues before Geoffrey is approached by a Nachtfolgian representative.

The guards followed closely behind, as if keeping a close watch on the foreign woman. The woman's expression was that of misery and despair and she spoke softly. " Good morning, Herr Delegate. I am Klaudia Waltz of the Auslander Truppe. I will be your guide during your stay in the Reich. If you follow me, I will take you to the Reichstag." The delegation quickly entered the convoy and took off towards the Reichstag.

A young man with blonde hair and wearing a Luftwaffe uniform approached the delegate followed by several black clad SS guards. " Good morning, Herr Koning. I am Oberleutenant Christoph Hertz and I will be your guide during your stay in the Reich. If you would kindly follow me, we will take you to the Reichstag where the meeting is about to begin." The man said before hopping into the vehicle. The convoy quickly took off and headed towards the Reichstag.

True to the Nachfolgian's view on punctuality, the guides for the foreign delegates arrived on time the next morning to take them to the Reichstag. The delegations loaded up in their designated convoys and made their way to the government building. The Reichstag was situated in the center of the capital in a large park, known in the Reich as the " Garden of Glory."

Upon arrive, the delegates witnessed the amount of effort and money the Nachfolgians put into their government building. The Garden of Glory had large walls surrounding it with heavily fortified guard posts positioned around the perimeter. The unit having the honor of guarding the "Heart of the Reich" was the 1st regiment of the 1st SS Infantry Division, nicknamed " The Obersterfuhrur's Finest". The Garden itself, was a sight to behold, covered in a large variety of shrubs and hundreds of plants and flowers. A team of 100 gardeners tended to the garden around the clock. Scattered around the walkways were dozens of monuments, commemorating past events and people of great importance.

Stopping in front of the main entrance, the delegates and their guides exited the convoy of armored cars and proceeded into the building. The inside proved to be just as extravagant as the outside. The main lobby had gorgeous marble floors that shined like a mirror. The women at the front desk, flanked by two heavily armed guards, smiled an greeted the guides. After a brief talk with the receptionists, the guides escorted their delegates to a set of elevators that would take them to the fourth floor where the conference room.

Just like the rest of the Reichstag, the hallway leading to the conference room was expertly crafted. The carpet was dark red and didn't have a speck of dust or dirt on it. The walls were beige and were decorated with various oil paintings of landscapes and portraits. In the conference room, a large round oak table sat in the center with the chairs arranged so that every delegate sat as equals. On one side of the room, a long table was placed with several alcoholic drinks and other refreshments on top that will be served to the guests. The walls had several portraits of different men in military uniform and a large Nachfolgian flag draped on the far wall opposite of the door. The guides advised the delegates that the meeting will begin shortly and to command the servants to get them any drinks that they want.

Rubbel quietly listened to the 2 delegations and when they had both finished giving off their introduction he clapped a few times into his hands before coughing a little and making himself ready to give a little report about Exilvania`s capabilities.

"Meine Herren, these are incredibly great things I hear here.

I for myself probably can`t be this informative though. You see, I`m only Generalfeldmarschall and Commander of the Ödland Süd Sektor. But I`ll try to inform you as good as possible.

Currently, I have about 60.000 fighting men of the Heer under my direct command. Mind you, that these are only my Heer capabilities as Generalfeldmarschall. And those will probably also not be like this forever. We`ve been going through some reorganizations lately, messing up large portions of the army. There are also several sections of the Stahlmacht, the Luftangriffsterror and the Exilvanian Kaiserliche Kriegsmarine operating in this sector under my command. The ZZ forces around here, which consist of the ZZ Elite Division that has been stationed here for the duration of your stay as well as several paramilitary ZZ forces running camps and factories in the Sektor, are not under my command. The ZZ Elite only listens to direct orders from Haegler or the Kaiser and the other ZZ units only obey to the ZZ High Command led by Haegler. Keep in mind though, that my Sektor is only one of 7.

As for our Military Equipment, Training and Doctrines, I fear that I´ll have to disappoint you a little. It doesn`t sound even half as great as what you`ve been presenting to me. For our Military Forces I must say that training has never been more valued than loyalty. Like our close combat training basically consists of having fight clubs in the boot camps where our soldiers need to beat the shit out of each other. It is a lazy way to do it but I assure you that it is very effective. The troops get very creative in finding ways to take down their opponents and don`t fall into expected patterns. The uniforms also look largely as if their right out of the Great War. They have of course been improved but things like camouflage haven`t been valued very much so far. The dark blue of our uniforms has tradition and also blends into our doctrines rather well. For the weaponry I have to say that it is standard. Often rather reliable but nothing great.

The same goes for planes, ships and tanks. The tanks are great in terms of cannons and stuff but the Übelmeister II for instance lacks a lot in maneuverability and is also more or less defenseless against other tanks unless it has a rocket launcher applied to it. It has always been more of a tank meant to fight entrenched Infantry. The Goliath lacks a lot in overall mobility. One third of our Navy still consists or ancient Great War ships. Though we recently equipped them with a few rockets, they still aren`t much help unless they get into close range firefights. And our Air Force? Well, we do have good bombers and all that able to do massive damage and all but we lack the ability to properly protect them. We`ve been developing fighters recently to escort the bombers but Haegler took the 3 prototypes with him to the summit. Best security and all that.

But don`t worry. You`re safe here, deep within the heart of this fortress, protected by tons of stone, flesh and metal.

As for our doctrines, I must say, that it usually depends a lot on the fear factor. We create terror by waging massive and ruthless Blitzkriege and being generally a really bad occupier. We specialize in massive combined arms assaults to break the enemy lines. These are continusly pushed forward with little break or rest, giving the enemy no moment to make an organized retreat or create a new frontline. This usually leads to massie casualties and burns a lot of fuel but this is why we value the loyalty so much. We always try to bring it up to sheer fanaticism that cannot even be bothered by the bodies of friends and comrades stockpiling in front of you. We`ve been doing this very ruthless, mostly executing whatever crosses our forces way. Bombardments reducing city blocks or strategic points to dust have also been nothing unusual during these wars.

Or we use ambush tactics. We specialize on Night Raids. There are Dark Blue Uniforms and the Night Vision integrated as special modules for our gas masks' visors come to play. The ZZ has been especcially admirable at this. During the Occupation after the 1. Battalion Wars, the ZZ Vampir groups were created. They were running around, ambushing the occupants and killing civilians helping them. The enemy always had to wage a bloody war even after it had officially ended.

Oh! I almost forgot to show you were we are!"

Rubbel just opened a little drawer below the map table and took out a little Exilvanian standard made of Silver. He then walked around the table to the North of the Map were the Wikingers were sitting and rammed the standard into a mountain range in the southern wastes of Exilvania.

When the Exilvanians could finally enter the conference room they were already in a rather bad mood. They didn`t have anything against decorations and such things but too much was just too much. Or they simply weren`t used to seeing something else than gothic style architecture and sparse inside decoration. They almost immediately took the seats prepared for them and began discussing a few things. Words like boasting, unnecessary and insulting fell.

But when they heard that there`d still be a little time till the beginning of the meeting, they dispersed into all corners of the room, eavesdropping on conversations if they could. Haegler though walked up to Heinrich and said:

"I order a coffee made by you personally. When you come to serve it you`ll find me with te Wikingers. Okay, maybe 2 coffees."

He then left towards Yngvar, arms behind his back. Once he reached him though he extended one of his arms towards him, offering his hand for a handshake.

"Ah, Herr Ragnvald! I had hoped to meet you here! I really wanted to see the leader of our great neighbour in person. I must say that I`m impressed. Do you happen to sometimes work as a model for army recruitment posters? You seem just like a perfect warrior. Even though warriors are obsolete nowadays. The soldier rules now.

Oh wait. Where are my manners! I totally forgot to introduce myself. I am Dietrich Ekerhart Haegler, High Commander of the ZZ as well as the current dictator of Exilvania."

High King Foley looked around. A few nations and their leaders or representatives had arrived and appeared to be conversing with each other while waiting for the other nations of Nazi Europa. He strode up to a man who appeared to be the representative of Exilvania.
"Care to chat?" Foley asked the Exilvanian.

As Yngvar and his delegacy began to discover the conference room, Yngvar began to whisper to his personnal assistant, while pointing out the walls with his finger :

- "Go speak up with Nachfolgians and discover the stories behind all these men on portraits"

Meanwhile, the delegacy already went out to take a drink and have a guess of the tempers from all the different delegacies in here.

On his side, Yngvar went to check where him and his delegacy would sit and slide his hand on the table in order to check the quality of this Oak wood.
When he finally found out the chairs and asked brieftly to his guards to check under the chairs just in case, he went to search a drink too, before being stopped by feeling a shadow behind him, he turned on himself only to see a foreigner with a gas mask.
He raised his eyebrow, intrigued by who it could be, before hearing that it was Haegler himself, his new ally, while shaking his hand firmly.

- "Hello Herr Haegler. That's a pleasure to meet you in person. As you've presume, i am Yngvar Ragnvaldr, Jarl of Wiking Nordland."

He smiled when he heard about the comment on his physic.
"- I suppose that i got lucky, for the rest that's only the result of my military formation with the Nordska Einherjars and personnal training. We believe that any Wikinger should be as healthy as he can, that would be a bad example for my people if i was all fat. And i would return you the same compliment if i could judge what's hiding behind this mask."

He then briefly took two alcoholic drinks, offering one to Haegler.

"Let's drink for our new alliance, i hope that this will be a long one" and proceed to lean toward Haegler, saying more quietly "and that our officials are doing well in the secret meeting".
"Look at the walls, i'm curious to know the stories behind these faces and learn a bit more about these who share the same ancestry than us, sons of Odin. I already sent my assistant to find out more."
"How do you think that the meeting will go ? We live in troubled times, my intelligence service gathered infos about a few commies submarines who destroyed a dozen of commercial ships during the sea travel between our region and the old World region, and some troubles in a lot of nations, including m...".

Before he could finish up, another man went toward them, it was the leader of the New United States of Columbia who came to shake Haegler's hand.

- "Hail, herr Foley. We didn't thought you would get there in time, do your plane got problems?"

Hans Dorr listened carefully and quietly the summary of both Exilvanian and Muchanian militaries.
As he was taking some more notes on his paper, he felt the look on both delegacys on him, waiting that he speaks up to add something or not.
He coughed a little and stand straight in his chair :

-"First, let me say that i find your militaries both very interesting in their potential, we can agree that we uses well the terrain we live in"

He looked in direction of Muchanian :

-"If you don't mind, we will buy one of your aircraft carrier, our delegacies will see how to transport it safely to our ports and the cost of it. We believe that this aircraft carrier can really be good in order to safe even more our coasts and the sea trading path to Exilvania."

After drinking some water from his bottle, he took the paper in his hands, in order to read his notes step by step.

"I think that our militaries should work up more together like, gathering and sharing infos to each other."
"I have an interesting idea to offer to both of you, there could be the existence of a brigade or division within each of our lands, consisting of soldiers from both the Muchanian, Wikinger Army and Exilvanian Army. Of course, the soldiers would be still lead by their own nations."
" Our strength of all our armies are the defensive power we all have on our lands, and our offensive power by land. However, we lack of power for an offensive Navy, but we are all good to defend our coasts. Another weakness from our part is the distance between Wikinger and Exilvanians to Muchanians, we will have to build up a strong airlift in order to trade easier. And last weakness, we don't share a lot of similarities in our equipments, thus we cannot kill the production costs with a closer production cooperation, but that's also a strength that we are all differents and able to fight in different terrains and weathers".
"I suggest that we find a name for our alliance, so that our TV propaganda or whatever it is in your nation have a name to represent it."

As he put the paper back on the table, he drank some water again and said firmly :
"Nothing to add, your turn, delegates".

Rubbel felt a little uneasy about what Dorr was proposing. The creation of a joint Military Force wasn`t what he was authorized to do.

"Herr Dorr, I really doubt the effectiveness of such a joint force. There is a lot of difference between our militaries. So much difference actually, that I doubt the work of a joint force to be very successful. You see, you tell your troops to clear a village. They`ll go in and search for enemy forces which they will eliminate. You tell my troops to clear a village and you`ll end up with no village at all. Besides, what use are my troops far away without a secured supply line for their specific supplies which will have to be imported from us?

Nein.

There needs to be something different. Maybe instead a larger cooperaton between our secret services? I`m sure you`ve noticed the rise of communism again as well as the general unrest within the nations of NE. In these times it will come in very handy to share the informations about these political activists and act swiftly upon it."

Haegler made a defensive gesture when Yngvar was offering him a drink and said with his muffled voice:

"Entschuldigung, but I`ll have to decline on this offer. No drinks before the meeting."

He then also tried whispering to Yngvar:

"I`m sure they`ll be fine even though they might suffer from certain...domestical problems."

When Yngvar tried to excite him about the pictures, Haegler stayed didn`t really react. Of course he was used to old pictures hanging around. All the castles and nobility houses were full of them. He wasn`t really interested in more pictures. And stories about them? More than half of them was probably only set up for the sake of a good picture and there was no true story behind it. However, he snapped back to attention when Yngvar began talking about politics again.

"Commie submarines? This is a bad sign indeed. If the dreaded communists dare to enter our waters again, they must`ve gotten cocky. And when they get cocky, we must assume that they grow again in strength. And yes, I fear it is linked. Something is going on though I`m not sure what. This meeting also unsettles me. I don`t know why it is held and I really don`t trust our host. We`ll need to get a hold of ourselves quickly to be able to face the red forces again. Our new alliance should..."

And this was when Foley turned up, interrupting their nice talk. But Haegler made a nice face to the bad game and just shook Foley's hand, saying:

"Oho, Herr Foley? I haven`t been expecting you here. It must`ve been a long and exhausting journey over here? I certainly hope that your in a favourable constitution for this meeting?"

Foley nodded.
"My friend, if I may call you that, indeed you are correct in your assumption."
He then took a breath, hoping he could secure information and maybe a few good agreements between their two nations.
"May I intrude? Or would you rather I wait in the sidelines to let you two finish your discussion?"
He took a step back just in case, his black rider boots reflecting some of the rooms light. The rest of his traditional Columbian outfit looked remarkably like King Washington's uniform during the American War of Seccesiion. A blue heavy winter coat, golden cuffs and buttons, a ceremonial sword by his side with ornate decorations in the handle and scabbard. He looked wildly out of place compared to his soldiers who only looked slightly out of place.

City of Konz-Leben, Of Leben

"Hello, my good friends" Sapra Qorrashi said to the Lebenians which were finally meeting her and her uncle, Akabar.
"It is great that you finally have found time to come see us. We Azgoghkians have never been a very...open people. But the times are changing and you are our closest neighbours. I hope this will be a start for a long and beautiful friendship between our great nations which have so many things in common. If we take a look at our histories, then-"

Akabar Qorrashi grumbled.
"It is enough, Sapra." He had managed to collect himself for now and his face looked serious and focused, a rare sight.
"We are not diplomats, noble sirs. I do not even know the title for your leader, although I have respect for him. However, we have a proposition. We offer a free trade agreement, which includes no protekcionism in trade between our nations. However if in one point any of our nations feels that it is not in their best interest, they can cancel the agreement with no consequences - other than a bump in relations. Also, we would like to open an embassy here in Of Leben, so we could discuss any problems between our nations directly. Are you interested, noble sir?"

New Zion, the City of Pyramids

"This is a strange land", Ilcanorr Qorrashi mused. "Strange indeed".
Another one of the High Prince Corwin Qorrashi illegitimate brothers, Ilcanorr was oficcially adopted in the House Qorrashi. However, he was adopted only personally. That meant that only he is a full Qorrashi, his children will not be such. Because of this, Ilcanorr have always felt a little bit inferior to his brothers. However, this middle aged man, who looked like some old wizard from fairy tales - tall, lean, with a long beard, was to afraid of the High Prince Corwin to ever do anything about it. At least he now had an important diplomatic mission - too meet the king of New Zion and close a trade deal with them.
However, the King Ba'al was left New Zion for the meeting in Nachfolgia and Ilcanorr was ordered to return to Azgoghk in a week. So now, sitting in the hotel room in New Zion, he was preparing an official letter for the King Ba'al.

For the Most Honourable King Ba'al Abramelin Emeth V-Emeth

Your Majesty, the King Most Noble. In the name of the Aryan League of Azgoghk I would like to propose a free trade between our nations. Also, we would be very happy if Your Highness would accept a military pact between our nations, so if one nation is attacked, the other has an oficcial duty to come to the attacked nation's aid. We are both monarchies, so it would be only natural.
I will await an answer from You.

With utmost Respect,
Ilcanorr Qorrashi,
speaking with authority of High Prince Corwin Qorrashi

Ilcanorr was never one for long words. Also the hotel room made him uncomfortable - place had strange simbols on the walls and Ilcanorr was pretty sure that some of them has just rearranged themselves. The chanting from the basement - which was off-limits to visitors - also didn't help.
"Ah, I hope that this letter will do the deed."

Nachfolgia, the International Meeting

High Prince Corwin Qorrashi finally entered the meeting room, followed by servants which were carrying a few heavy-looking barrels.
"My Lords and Ladies" he adressed the other delegates "It is nice to finally be in the company of equals. I would like to ask for a right to a speech, But I do not want to be impolite. Surely our hosts, Nacfolgians, would like to say some opening words and also explain, why exactly we have gathered here. I would gladly speak after the host speaks or give me the right to speak at, least."
"In the meantime, help yourself to some Azgoghkian Black Gin. Just say a word and my servants will serve it to You."

"You may not call me your friend. Not yet. But from what I just heard from Herrn Ragnvald I conclude that we could very soon be friends again. Even comrades. We all will be comrades in arms once again if the current situation will develop just as I think it will.

But I won`t mind if you`ll intrude into our discussion. We still have time afterall. Interesting uniform. Good take on historical Uniforms. Incredibly expensive I`d guess?"

Haegler just took of his coat and showed that he himself was only wearing a uniform very similar to that of an SS Standartenführer of the Allgemeine SS in the faraway Third Reich. Of course in blue and some yellow parts with Exilvanian symbolism in silver and red. The usual Silver bat on his peaked cap. The red collar with the silver insignia. The Exilvanian Sword of Honour with Bat Wings on his chest. The Red Shoulderpads. All was in place. This uniform instilled fear in every Exilvanian. This man could just make you disappear forever and suffer a very unpleasent fate far away from the light of the day. But before he could continue his conversation with Yngvar and Foley Corwin entered. And as it seemed with lots of drinks. When he heard Corwin`s offer he looked at one of the guards he had taken with him shook his head a little into the direction of Corwin`s alcoholics.

The poor soldier of course understood. He quickly went over to the conference table and took a glass before walking over to the Azgoghkians and filling the glass with only one sip of the Azgoghkian Black Gin. He then quickly removed the gas mask partially from his lower face, just enough to reveal a very pale chin. He then proceeded to bring the glass up to his mouth and took the whole sip. He then repositioned his gas mask correctly on his face before turning around to Haegler and saluting. And well, then he just dropped down to the ground like a tree cut down by some lumberman.

Haegler just smirked under his gas mask and loudly said:

"Well, looks like we now get to have the chance to see how good the Nachfolgians prepared for the case that someone would be wounded, poisoned or in some other way damaged. I hope they did a good job. Because this could have very well happened to any one of us. And there still is plenty of time to do something to us.

And you Herr Delegate, that I don`t know but presume that he is from Azgoghk because he is offering Azoghkian gin, should better get this killer stuff right out of here before other people will force it all down your throat."

The Hairy Men of God wrote:The King Ba'al Abramelin Emeth V-Emeth grew tired in waiting, he decided to begin some business, he had the guards and staff of the hotel take him to the place where the delegates from the lebenian nation would be staying.

Nachafolgian Reichstag, August 23rd 2009

Aleman, Torre, Karl and Adelaida had been split from the rest of their staff, as they now entered under the protection of the Nachafolgians. For the exception of one guard armed with his UMP-9 and his Bersa Thunder 9, the Of Lebenian guards, maids, and other staff would remain on the plane until the delegation was over.

As they entered the armored car Dr. Buchenau introduced himself and told them all about the nations achievements and accomplishments. No one but Adelaida payed any attention. The delegates found his incessant talking boring and unappealing and distracting. Protests and unrest could visibly be seen along the streets as they rode along the town, however the situation seemed to be under control by the guards. Eventually, they arrived at the place they would be staying at. Buchenau bid his farewells, and the Lebenians headed to their room with their bags.

After finishing his unpacking, Aleman walked outside to take a view of the lobby. As he left the room, he was greeted by King Ba'al Abramelin Emeth V-Emeth. Aleman was startled by Emeth's directness. However, he was still impressed by the simple no-nonsense attitude he had. Aleman gave the king a firm handshake and began talking.

"Well, you certainly don't seem interested in small talk are you?"
Aleman gave a short chuckle before continuingn and gave a confident grin.

"Well, you caught me off guard on this one, and I cannot promise you anything, but I think we'd be happy to have an alliance and free trade with a fellow NE nation. As soon as I get the chance, i will send a telegram home to have our legislature look over the proposal."

Both men smiled and Aleman was about to say something, when a Nachafolgian guard said to follow him. Aleman followed him and was taken to the dark car. He was taken to where the meeting would take place. Clearly a lot of time and effort had gone into making the look nice, and he admire the nations Reichstag. He went inside and found many things of interest, the decorations, statues, and paintings all looked marvelous. However, he knew he had to concentrate on the meeting at hand. He was taken to the meeting room, where he saw some guards, and group of men, presumably other leaders in the room. He took a brief moment to can the room and saw some barrels of liquor. He wondered why such things were in a formal diplomatic meeting.

Aleman took note of the barrels and took out a smoking pipe from an inner pocket in his suit. He began smoking and was contemplating about what to do next. He thought about the kings proposal and remembered what he said he would do. He took a small notebook from a pocket in his slacks and began writing. After he finished, he turned to his side and saw only the other men that were in his room. He then rememebered, he forgot to take his entourage.

Viceroys Palace, August 23rd, 2009

The Azhogokian delegates and Lebenian diplomats were not exactly seeing eye to eye. The chief of foreign relations, Juan Nunez de Carlos, was a bit put off by the uncouthness of the Azhogokians. They were a far cry from the polite Volksgardians. Nonetheless, he knew that such an agreement would be beneficial.

"I must say, I think that our agreement has come quite well no? We agree to the conditions, and we will see if our legislature approves it."

Carlos, was not so pleased with the agreement, he wanted a non-agression pact as as well. However, he realized that any conflict between the two nations would likely never reach violence. Even if they ever did, he thought, the Azhogokians would be in for a hard time.

"Well, then how about a little celebration then! We have some food prepared in the guestroom and I've been a bit hungry, as of late. Would you care to join us?"

"Yes. Indeed this was King Washington's uniform. Shame it was locked in storage after he died and hasn't been used until I ascended the throne a decade or two back."
He was surprised to see the exilvanians in gas asks. Maybe they were just paranoid of gas attacks. Or maybe, he figured, they were in a land filled with poisoned air that couldn't sustain normal life. Either way it was mere curiousity.
"Well, Your Excellency," Foley began "I was wondering if our two empires could establish a trade agreement. And, perhaps, a non-aggression pact. Surely both our lands have something to offer the other."
As he was conversing with the Exilvanian representative Foley's Royal guardsmen began to scan the room or return outside to guard the plane they flew in on.

Nachfolgian International Airport, Nachtfolgia

Geoffrey follows the woman to their designated ride at a much staggered distance; once inside, the vehicle begins to move, isolating Geoffrey and his Nachtfolgian guide. A long silence ensues as he dances his eyes uneasily over her, examining her, and pushing himself back into the cushion of his seat. Never before has he seen a human being with colored skin; in the Imperial German Domain, every man, woman, and child is as white as the snow that permanently blankets Eireweite. Her unusual nature stirs a very dormant and primal urge within him; he feels his face begin to heat and his palms sweat. More stunning, though, is her demeanor. So docile and defeated...Heidrich was right; women outside Muchania are a completely different species! Geoffrey cannot help but see some of himself in her: a general life apathy dragged along by the societal and cultural drumming of a government job, regardless of importance. She remains silent as her passenger stares at her, becoming more uneasy all the while. Geoffrey glances out the window to see a street-side shop on fire, surrounded by men and women waving signs and shouting at authorities who are closing in all around them.

He turns his attention back towards his guide, takes a deep breath, and gulps: "Excuse me, Miss, but would you mind telling me how a beautiful face such as yours can look so sad?"

His question is met with perplexed indifference. Embarrassed, Geoffrey maintains silence for the remainder of the ride. Upon arriving at the hotel Geoffrey is stunned by its luxurious magnitude. Everything from the front door to the reception desk looks as though it belonged to Julius Caesar. Wanting not to be late, Herr Geoffrey quickly checks in and shuffles into an elevator with his luggage and guide who shows him to his room. Geoffrey is surprised at the gracious space of the room. He drops his bag and flops on the soft mattress of his bed for a few minutes, exhausted after his travel. After quickly freshening up, he removes a bottle of his nations indigenous alcohol from his bag and takes a few solid gulps before leaving his quarters and making his way to the large conference room. The entire architecture of the building could be akin to a historical museum. Stone busts and and other observables decorate the halls and walls of every room he passes, eventually making his way to the long, tall, and wide room filled with foreign officials and tables littered with small flags of each present nation, a nameplate, and a pitcher of water, along with a small sample of some foreign alcohol substance with a horrible odor. He makes his way to the 'Muchania' designated table and has a seat in the comfy, plush chair, letting the spirits he ingested moments ago to take hold of him. He watches silently as the leaders of other nations intermingle and converse. He scans the large interior trying to spot the Nachtfolgian who invited him, but his vision begins to haze and blur. Perhaps one gulp too many....

Festung Herzreißer, Southern Ödland, Exilvania

Georg studies a copy of the carrier vessel sheet before him. "Absolutely, Herr Dorr, we will be more than happy to sell you one of our carriers, later we shall discuss delivery and payment and such."

Heidrich eagerly pipes up. "I personally believe that a a joint military force present within our lands would be an excellent idea, however, I do agree with the Exilvanians about the logistical strains that comes with it. For this, though, I have an alternative proposal, however unorthodox or impractical it may seem. As a nation, we Muchanians have existed on the international scale for less than a full century and have avoided conflict with strict isolationist ideals. However, as I oversee all that goes on within the Bodenkräfte, I have noticed throughout the years that the men who serve under me sometimes wonder why our nation maintains such a military without ever having intentions to use it, and having that line of thinking circulating the nation breeds trouble. What I propose is that I deliver to each of your respective nations a set quantity of troops, probably a Muchanian standard regiment, commissioned officers to work along side------"

rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNG!.........rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNG!

In one simultaneous motion, Heidrich, Georg, Josef, and Edmund turn to Franz-Adlar with gasping, horrified expressions. Franz-Adlar hastily pats the pockets of his uniform jacket and trousers, and retrieves a simple flip cellular phone. He squints to read the small frontal display. "Fellow Reichsmarschalls, it is our 'Lady Muchania', The Schulleiterin!"

rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNG!.........rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNG!

He quickly turns to the Wikingrs and Exilvanians. "Fellow delegations, I realize prior to this very instance, I have not addressed either of you or introduced myself. Allow me to change that; I am Reichsmarschall Franz-Adlar, commander of the Muchanian Heimatfrontschutz second only to Geoffrey himself. I am sorry to interrupt our meeting but my emergency phone is being contacted by our Geoffrey's beloved and head of national police, excuse me while I take this."

Franz-Adlar removes himself from the table, "Yes, Schulleiterin, what is the matter?"....and navigates to the farthest corner of the conference room. Heidrich trains his eyes over Adlar while Georg and Josef exchange worried glances. Edmund continues searching for important economic information within his file case

His expression grows more volatile as the minutes of his and the Schulleiterin's conversation pass. After several silent seconds, he closes the phone and makes for the table to acquire his cap.

"Is everything alright?" Heidrich asks impatiently.

"I need to return home. Today a rebellious siege has been laid to the Imperial Capitol Building by a Communist underground organization; how it came to fruition and in such strength is beyond me. Veronika and her FAF girls are currently holding the line but these Reds are armed and she is reporting casualties. My Vice-Marschal has temporarily assumed control of the Heimatfrontschutz but he is currently arranging affairs at Fort Siegfried and it will be some time before he reaches the capital. I am going to see to this myself. Delegations, I am very sorry to have to interrupt our negotiations on such terms but my country currently needs me. I sincerely hope this does not affect your opinions on any current or future dealings."

Upon his way to the door, Franz-Adlar finds the nearest Exilvanian guardsman and plunges his cigar-width index finger into the center of the guardsman's chest. "You, right now, are going to very hastily lead me out of this crumbling maze you call a fortress and back to the airport I landed in earlier this afternoon, and so help me Kaiser, if you even remotely brandish your main weapon at me like that again, I will RIP IT out of your TINY LITTLE hands and empty the contents of its magazine directly into your groin! and given the severity of the situation I would not. test me. on that................NOW FUCKING MOVE! GO!" He shoves the guard out the door who shakily scuttles forward, looking over his shoulder at the Muchanian stone bear who lumbers closely behind him.

The remaining Reichsmarschall Staff turns to face their foreign friends once again. "I am terribly sorry about that, Exilvanians," Heidrich begins, "you'll have to excuse Franz, but it is for that exact reason you just saw that he commands our Homefront Guard. He loves our nation like his own son. Now as I was saying, I know for the first time in our national history, if you both were to agree to this, that my troops would very much appreciate stretching their legs a little bit by exercising cooperatively with each of your respective land military forces. I would be willing to deliver one standard Muchanian regiment, one per nation, along with their indigenous arms, equipment, and so fourth, that would last them a set period of time. Upon expiration of that time period, I will arrange for supply drops by our nations airbus capabilities. I will also allocate a proper number of commissioned officers to work hand-in-hand with your own officers. It would be a good cultural exercise to familiarize our forces with one another and help build a stronger bond between us. I understand you may look at me bewildered at why I would invest such resources into such a proposal. Well, prior to this very instant, I have smelled the Red Menace many moons ago and the events today have only confirmed my suspicion. I am open to other considerations or alternative solutions but I do believe that our Wikingrs here have the right idea."

Officer of Economics Edmund gently clears his throat and addresses the Exilvanians. "Sirs, I do not mean to be rude, but I cannot help but notice that my trade request was not acknowledged. What my nation would like is some of your oil; I realize that this is a precious commodity these days and to ensure your interest, Geoffrey has informed me that he is prepared to supply your nation with anything it needs or desires. Does this peak your interest?"

The remainder of the Reichsmarschall Staff sits silently fretting for the safety of their capitol.......

Reichstag, Sturmgeistberg, Reichsmilitarstrat of Nachfolgia.

As the foreign diplomats began to mingle and drink from the refreshments laid out for them, the large oak doors swung open, quieting everyone in the conference room. A young woman, early twenties, walked into the room and stood at the head of the table. She wore a thigh length black dress with a long Wehrmacht coat draped over her shoulders, her epaulettes suggest a high military rank. Her eyeliner was bold and dark and her blonde hair was tied up in a bun with her bangs covering one eye. Her expression and stance radiated power as well as elegance. Following the woman was six heavily armed and armored female soldiers clad in black. The female guards spread out equally around the room and stood at attention. The woman motioned for the servants to leave the room and took a quick glance around as they left in a hurry. The woman paused for a few moments with a confident smirk on her face before she spoke.

" Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed colleagues of Nazi Europa, I would like to personally welcome you to the Recihsmilitarstrat of Nachfolgia. I would also personally like say 'danke' for accepting my invitation to my beautiful Reich. As you may have guessed, I am Obersterfuhrurin Angelika von Sturmgeist, leader of the Nachfolgian Reich. I know that you may be thinking that I am very young, but I assure you...I am more than capable as a world power." Angelika said with a confident smirk.

" Now for the matter at hand...I have called you here for a very important reason. We are in danger. Not from some foreign power that thinks of itself as so superior to conquer an entire region. No...this threat is much more subtle and invisible, but just as deadly." She continued to say as she paced around the table. " I'm referring to economic and civil strife, gentleman. Complete collapse of the infrastructure of all of our nations and empires, our own loyal citizens and...lesser peoples rising up to put our heads on pikes, crying for equality and a better life. Of course these things attract scavengers and vultures looking to get a claim of our shattered society. I know that we are all aware of those communist submarines lurking in our waters."

" These threats are real and I can't speak for everyone, but I wont standby while all the work that my ancestors, the previous Obersterfuhrurs had done be lain to waste." The woman said as she pointed to the portraits on the wall as she walked back to her seat. " I plan to do something about this." She said as she sat down, crossing her legs. " I propose a unifying economic and military treaty to ensure that all of our interests are secure." Angelika said with a sly smirk on her face, waiting for her equals to reply to her proposal.

Foley, who had decided to listen to what the woman was saying, stayed standing. He asked pointedly while fixing his blue eyes on hers "And what, exactly, will this do to help our crumbling empires exactly? It sounds no different than the Communist World Assembly."
When he finished he sat down and waited for her response. But as he did so he scribbled a note and passed it to the Exylvanian representative reading Should we discuss the trade deal later?

Dole station #39
Captain Alexander Polk looked at the large starving masses before him. He hated to say it but they simply had no food to give. And right now they looked ready to riot.
"I'm sorry people but we have no food to give. If you could wait just one more week I'm sure-"
"ONE WEEK!?" Cried an individual from the massive crowd of hundreds "HOW CAN WE WAIT A WEEK WITH NO FOOD!?"
Polk tried to answer.
"We should be getting shipments of food from our neighbors. His Majesty High King Foley is trying to work out an agreement."
"FUCK THE KING! WE WANT FOOD!"
The crowd chanted "WE WANT FOOD! WE WANT FOOD!" Over and over as they steadily marched on Polk's position. Soldiers from the Royal Guard assembled. They closed ranks and aimed their weapons at the crowd.
"STOP AND RETURN TO YOUR HOMES!" One of the guardsmen shouted "OR WE WILL USE LETHAL FORCE!"
The crowd (now a mob) charged. All that could be heard were screams and the sound of many rifles and machine guns firing.

"I GOT ONE!"
"See son? This is why I hate those idiotic city folk. They don't know how to care for themselves."
In reality, while Johnson hated city dwellers, he was thankful. With the cities collapsing police and military were called in to help keep them under control. Meaning they could start hunting in "state" or "protected" parts. It helped him two fold. He got food and he got animal hide and skin he could sell for more food. After all people also need warmth as well as food. And the weather seemed to be getting colder indicating summer was ending.
As Johnson followed his eager son he examined the deer they just shot. It had a bullet clean through the neck. Not a good sign.
"David help me skin it quick!" Johnson panicked as he quickly pulled out his Bowie knife.
"Why?" His son complained.
"Because we might attract wolves or bears!"
Before David could complain they heard growling. They looked to where the growls came from and saw three bobcats glaring at them.

Adlar`s escape didn`t last long. Rubbel made very sure of that. Even though he understood that Adlar had to leave, he couldn`t just let this insolence go unpunished. Once Adlar had left the room he quickly took a microphone and said:

"One of the Muchanian Guests has left. He seems to be in a little hurry. Send him some men to help him find the Helicopter Landing Pads. Be gentle please."

He then put the microphone away again to face the Muchanian delegation. With an apologizing shrug he said:

"Don`t worry. He`ll be fine. Tough his pride may take some damage.

About the trade deal, hmmm, this is hard. You know, I`m a Military Commander. But I guess I`ll could get some of my contacts to do something about this. We`ll see. I`ll notify you when something has happened there.

The whole stuff with the Troops stationed in your countries is still something I dislike though. Not to mention that you want units in here. I could maybe open our bootcamps and you can train your troops here in the harshest conditions. But I guess you have your own harsh conditions?"

In the meantime Adlar was completely lost in the labyrinth. How good that he had a guide. And even better that he`d soon not have to worry about finding a way anymore.
Suddenly he heard heavy boots coming from in front of him and from behind. It didn`t take long for the shadows to seemingly spew out 2 tall figures in front of him and the same behind him. They wore dark blue Trenchcoats and heavy boots, not to mention their reinforced Stahlhelme or Pickelhauben. When his guide saw them he suddenly jumped forward and ran past the 2 big guys approaching. Adlar however was trapped. It didn`t take long for them to reach him and they then just grabbed him by his arms and lifted him up. He was now pretty much helpless and those 2 dudes really just ignored it when he kicked them. And so poor Adlar was being carried through the deep underground system of the castle. when they came higher one of the free Vets roughly applied an exilvanian Gas Mask to his face and then they went on. The higher they got the more populated the corridors got and they met patrols, guards and all.

And Adlars journey still hadn`t ended. When they finally left the indoor part of the fortress they ended up walking through several big yards, over wall, untill they finally ended up in a much larger yard with almost no walls around him. In there were several Helicopters, both attack and transport helicopters. Without a moment of hesitation the vets walked up to one of the bigger Transport Helicopters already starting and threw Adlar in there before the door was closed, trapping Adlar in the Helicopter. It was empty.

The pilot however was reliefed that his passenger was finally there and took of. He was heading for one of the wasteland Airports of the Military where they had brought the airplane of the Muchanian delegation. It was a short flight as said Wasteland Airport was close to Festung Herzreißer. Well hidden in the Herzreißer Mountain Range it was one of Exilvania`s most important Military Facilities. There they landed and once the door opened again, Adlar was greeted with gun barrels pointed at him. The Exilvanians had heard of the treatment he had given to his guide. In the distance he could probably already see his plane ready to take off. And the Exilvanians were quick to get him there. A Vladswaggen was coming over and the driver opened the door for him to get in and once he was in he closed it again and drove like a madman to quickly get to the plane. The Muchanian Crew had of course gotten Gas Masks long ago and had been brought here together with their plane. They hadn`t received much hospitality from the Exilvanians and probably were eager to finally leave the place.

When Adlar left the Vladswaggen the driver said:

"Viel Glück Herr Adlar. Get rid of these protestors."

And then he drove off again. The Exilvanian tower gave permission for takeoff.

"Ah! Who would`ve thought that the Weib would actually join us this quickly? And it seems she got a whole bunch of Weiber with her.

Don`t worry. I`ve got no problem with young leaders. They`re always so idealistic. So easy to deceive. And when they call themselves World Power than they usually have a serious complex. I have yet to find a one guy/girl world power. Did supergirl descend to us already?"

, Haegler said. He was ignoring Foley`s note and focused on the Obersterfuhrurin. And due to his Gas Mask it was impossible to say what he really thought as his facial expression and voice tone were completely hidden by that.

"Yes, people are rising up. It doesn`t feel like the usual temporary uprisings. This is bigger. Much bigger. Too big for my taste. Then again, it enables me to strengthen my grip onto Exilvania. It`s already an Iron Grip but making it a Steel Grip sounds also good. Right Zsigmond? You`ll have lots of fun I promise."

One of the Exilvanian delegates taking a seat next to Haegler was giving off an overenthusiastic nod.

"However, Weib, I do not like it when people start messing with our economy and army. What`s ours is ours alone. I want to see a a Red Fleet approaching before I put Exilvania into an organization like you propose. And even then I wouldn`t unify my economy with yours or anyone else for this matter. Do you have anything else to propose Weib?"
