Parsoh Tribune
Parsoh closes the borders for migrants
Prisoners are forced to fortify the land borders of the city state
Parsoh: With the reopening of the tunnel between Parsoh and Menthi trade and travel was resumed. The outbreaks of various diseases in the communist controlled parts of the Iberis Peninsular have forced the senate to close the borders for migrants and refugees. People form other parts of the peninsular will no longer be allowed to enter the city state. All work permits are temporarily revoked.
Carosi is frequently blamed for the outbreak of said diseases. There is no solid evidence for that at this moment. While Carosi is a likely candidate behind it Tekeristan is well known for its use of illegal weapons against civilians. In Caracasus the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Spills and accidents are as common in the socialist hell as hammers and sickles. In the simple minds of the communists Carosi is behind everything. That does not mean that it is impossible that Carosi is responsible. There is a lot of evidence of illegal flights of both Tekeristan and Caracasus over the sovereign territory of Menthi.
It is Mr. Jatti’s incompetence and indecisiveness that is preventing Parsoh from playing the role it should play in this drama. Mr. Jatti is always reacting, never acting. He does not have the trust of the entire senate and the relevant groups in Parsoh. The crisis is getting worse and the people of Parsoh are only defended by a fence and a few harsh words.
To: Menthi - Public
From: Parsoh Senate
Various forces active on the peninsular have brought our tropical paradise a few steps closer to the apocalypse. The criminal and irresponsible action of accepting the independence of the city of Karthos has sealed the fate of our home region. This step will lead to a war without precedent. We are deeply concerned by the recklessness some governments show when it comes to human lives.
The senate has warned you times and times again. There is some visible progress, we can give you that. However, it is too little, too late. The chaos and the problems caused by your incompetence and neglect are a direct threat to the security and the wellbeing of our citizens.
You have 48 hours to get the rebels in Karthos to the negotiating table or to crush the rebellion and reinstate law and order across Menthi. You have 24 hours to get the forest fires under control and prevent them from spreading towards Parsoh.
If you decide to remain a threat to the people of Parsoh we will no longer be able to continue to tolerate your incompetence. If you do not pacify Karthos by force or through negotiations, we will do that for you. If you do not put out the fires, we will do that for you. If Menthi continues to show the world that it is not capable of getting its own affairs sorted there is no need for Menthi to continue as a state.
This is your second warning, there will be no third. End the hostilities one way or the other.
With Honour,
Jatti
