At 9:47 PM Donnish Special Forces comprising of 10 SCAR Rangers and 5 LG Operatives arrived in Reutoa with the mission of eliminating Communist Leaders. They accomplished this mission as 3 were confirmed dead at 12:20 AM and they had begun to depart the AO at 1:00 AM. However at 1:35 AM all contact was lost with team until 5 minutes later when a disturbing message was sent over the OSS to the DIA Headquarters running the operation with gun fire in the backround.

"Tattered Cloak, Broken Dagger!"

The universal Donnish Millitary code for a Special Operation gone FUBAR. The message was also sent over emergency frequencies contacting any friendly millitary force for help. At 4:22 AM the DIA begun organizing a Rescue team consisting of Imperial Ranger Company "Charlie" from the 1st Imperial Ranger Air Cavalry Battalion. At 1:00 PM the next day another "Tattered Cloak, Broken Dagger." Rung out over the Radio waves and the OSS.

Charlie Company was trapped in a City named "Vaterunser" along with the SF Team that had taken out the 3 Communist Leaders. Surrounding them are Communist Militia blocking off roads and making the town essentially inaccessible. The DIA along with their Allies are charged with rescuing Charlie Company and the Donnish SF as the Militia closes in.

Objectives

• = Primary
▪ = Secondary

•Save Charlie Company
•Save Donnish SF
•Destroy VTH-380 Wreck in the center of the town to prevent capture
•Escape Umgeben alive.
▪Identify and Kill Militia leader in charge
More to possibly be added.

Lieutenant Duran Zikes, SCAR/LG SOF Team, Reutoa, over Umgeben.
1:34 AM

"Are you sure we got the right guys?" Duran said to a SCAR Ranger, he simply nodded in response "The OSS confirmed it as soon as we took the pictures. The OSS never lies." He said, Duran wasn't to trustworthy of the equipment ever. He was a strong believer in Murphys law after all. "It could, just you wait." Duran spoke the Ranger simply rolling his eyes and looking out the window in the cramped Helicopter down at the town they were traveling over. It had long winding roads that went up and down and the streets and alleys that went off of it snaked around. The Center contained a small non working fountain in a circular sort of meet and greet area but it was almost completely devoid of any life. In fact despite the fancy fountain, the town was run down and crumbling. Forgotten almost but the residents still lived there and most if not all of them sided with the Communists in the area.

A neon green light flashes past the Cockpit, the Pilots look confused for a moment but go into evasive action diving low to the ground and changing their heading rapidly. The passengers are caught off guard "What the hell is going on?!" Duran yelled over the gunfire and loud banging pitter patter as the bullets hit the aircraft. A bright light appears from one of the roofs and comes closer to the tail of the VTH-380 until it explodes separating it from the main body. Tumbling downwards it crashes into the center smashing into the fountain crushing it and sending water crashing into the surrounding area darkening the ground, percolating into the soil and gravel. It was calm for a few moments until the side door opened and a lone Ranger climbed out tumbling onto the ground. The Tail had crashed into a building nearby just on the side of the main road that went into the center. It stuck out like shrapnel into a person's body as bricks fell from the wall. The Ranger called out for help as more of the Special Forces jumped out of the tilted Helicopter which was leaning on a part of the fountain still standing.

Duran stunned, stumbled out of the Helicopter as the Rangers and LG secured the area. It was blurry and the town was spinning around him. "Duran!" He heard called out to him, he turned to face who it was as one of the LG Sargeants walked to him. "Duran! We gotta move! What's the plan. What looks like Militia are coming up the southern road spotted by the Marksmen, and I've got no doubt they're going to try and surround us from all sides." The Donnish began to get behind cover and prepare for an attack. "We gotta make the circle bigger or else were going to be squeezed in tight before help gets here." Just as he said that gunshots rang out and Bullets ricochet off the Helicopter, fire from the Donnish covered a window before a man in simple clothed and a gun fell from the window crashing into a Sedan and rolling off the hood setting off the alarm.

"Good shooting! I want 4 down the South, East and West. I want 3 down the north to cover that way! If you have trouble call for help! We're going to have a long night ahead of us! If you need Ammo the Helicopter still has a supply." Duran went over to the Cockpit, the Pilots were dead. He opened the door and grabbed the Radio as more gunfire sounded "Tattered Cloak, Broken Dagger!" He yelled multiple times on every frequency he could.

The SF Team were spread thin. But through the night they defended against the Militia fighters. Charlie Company came the next day but they themselves were trapped in the town. The Militia had surrounded them on all sides and the Town became a war zone. Destroyed vehicles littered the streets and body's of the Militia were everywhere including some Donnish Soldiers near the center. Wounded collected near the fountain. A second "Tattered Cloak, Broken Dagger" was reported.

Pilot Alex Nevskai, 27th Helicraft Squadron.

Word had gotten to Pacifican forces yesterday that a Donnish operation in Eastern Reutoa had gone sour and Donnish forces were trapped in a town. It was the job of the 27th Helicraft Squadron, a day from the location to get to the city and save as many Donnish soldiers as possible. Alex was a pilot in the 27th. He piloted one of the 3 Chinooks filled with soldiers coming to help bolster the Donnish defenses. Basically, he'd drop the troops off and then load a few Donnish troops into the Chinook, and fly to a nearby area as the designated LZ. Then he'd come back, and repeat the process while the Apaches supported.

He looked ahead with his eyes forward and his hands on the controls. He'd prepared, trained for a situation like this and was ready for it, eagerness in more than plenty of supply. He received a message in his headphones, saying "Alexi-3, 4 hours inbound on Donnish rescue zone. All units, intel suggests that enemy are plenty in numbers, they've surrounded the town and most likely have anti-air. They have the support of the civies in the area and are plenty in number, time and speed is the key of this operation. They've got a standard rebel's equipment, mostly old small arms."

Alex spoke back into the radio, saying plainly "Copy that Alexi-1.". The Chinook was going at it's best pace to the site, but it was still 4 hours of flying. For all Alex knew, by the time the cavalry had shown the Donnish could have been brutally massacred by the communist rebels waiting for him.

Approaching Northern Umgeben, Eastern Reutoa

An endless wave of black could be seen for miles. A line of tanks and APCs rumbled along the gravel road while by their flank were fast-moving IFVs and Striker Humvees. Up above soared Raptors and a pack of Super Cobras.

This particular Vanquarian ground force brought with them enough firepower to level a damn skyscraper.

4 hours earlier
Having came from the New Azen 3rd Fleet which was near the coasts of Eastern Reutoa when the call for aid came from their fellow Helsa Federation state the Shock battalions had been hastily mobilised with the fleet notifying Reutoan naval security of their deployment of course as apart of the Helsa Federation force alongside Donner.

Contact had been established by Vanquarian forces to other allied forces in the area seeking to liberate the trapped Donnish forces. Understanding the fact that multiple elite units from other nations were to be deployed to specifically rescue the Donnish troops the vice-admiral realised the need for superior firepower to divert at least the majority of the hostile group's attention away from the pockets of trapped Donnish men.

Now back to the massive convoy the captain and field commander of the force began repeating the original orders to his men before they saw combat.

'Alright men, you know what to do and how to do it. Just a quick reminder before we see action:
There is a heck ton of reserve ammunition in the convoy available so do not be afraid to waste your magazines.

Stay behind an armoured vehicle or an equally strong source of cover, we are only seeking to throw our firepower at the militia to divert their attention away from our allied forces.

Lastly, any civilian you see, regardless of age or gender, you waste em.

Good luck and over.'

Finally the convoy was within sight of the town, just less than a kilometre away. The convoy began to spread out, moving into the dense undergrowth beside the main road.

After about a dozen minutes of readying in formation and with all guns aimed at the town the captain gave the 'go' order to the air force.

Above the 10 Raptors that had accompanied the convoy moved first, soaring at top speed at high altitudes towards the town before releasing 50 incendiary missiles at the northern blocade of the town's road, random buildings and civilian mobs. Then they turned away in front of the town.

When the Raptors began speeding away the ground forces began raining hell. Across the dense undergrowth of the forests in the north sector of Umgeben the sound of countless shells and bullets rang across for miles.

Meanwhile the Super Cobras began identifying armed and unarmed civilian groups within range of their missiles and chain-guns before ripping them apart.

All around there was the sound of death, the long-range mini-guns of a Jar-Kai IFV constantly splattering bullets, a T-90 booming away at any tall building in sight, the machinegun of a Striker clattering away at anyone they saw.

The Shock Troopers on the other hand began moving under camouflage closer to the town via covering fire from the convoy. Once in range rows of troops spread out opened automatic hell in the form of long-range fire. Once having completed their first round of fire they were under orders to begin massing further towards the town in the undergrowth for another loud volley via long-distance cover fire again from their convoy.

The captain of the force, as he gunned down buildings and civvies alike in his tank, hoped that the SF of the other nations were moving in already...

77th Attack Wing, Reuota, five minutes out from Umgeben

The flight of three A-7F attack aircraft approached the town at 833 kilometers per hour, flanked on both sides by similar flights of aircraft, six flights in total. While the A-7F had no chance of catching or running away from a modern jet aircraft, it could carry a lot of ordnance, as demonstrated by the sixteen GBU-27 Paveway III bombs carried under the wings of twelve of the aircraft, while the remaining six were carrying 28 unguided Mk. 82 bombs. All of the aircraft had two front firing autocannons for ground attack along with a single rear firing autocannon for defense and attack purposes.

The purpose of the aircraft was quite simple, plaster any barricades and rebel strongholds on the western approaches of the town before expending any remaining ordnance on targets marked by the Donnish forces on the ground. As the aircraft closed into range on the barricades on the western approach, three of the aircraft dropped two Paveways each, the laser guided munitions gliding towards the target while the bombardiers controlled the approach of the munitions.

Five minutes behind the group of attack aircraft, a group of twelve A-36 attack helicopters approached the town at a much lower altitude. Their mission was to tear up anything that survived the initial attack runs with autocannon fire and missiles before attacking targets designated by the advancing ground forces, who were only twenty minutes out. The column had been drawn from a heavy armor battalion due to the protection that would be required to push through the rebel forces. Each of the heavy tanks in the column had two active trophy systems to deal with rocket propelled grenades and anti-tank munitions, along with the armor needed to tough it through the punch those weapons carried.

The final wave of Federationist forces was supposed to enter the battlefield thirty minutes from present, the 28 Blackhawk transport helicopters carrying over three hundred cavalry troopers. They would attempt to secure a cordon in the wake of the armored thrust through which the trapped Donnish forces could evacuate the town, and if that failed they were to launch a general assault in an attempt to clear a landing zone close enough to the Donnish holdouts for evacuation.

Days prior to the operation, as part of the Red Dove Treaty, the Esgonian Federation had agreed to support the Reutoan's fight against the communist rebels in the Eastern Region, sending over 300 peacekeepers in the region, establishing a small base out of an abandoned hospital just outside of the Eastern Region, dubbed 'Maria Forward Base.'

Vatenruser, Reutoa. Cpt. Mikhail Garza

A line of military vehicles phase through the streets of Eastern Reutoa, composing of four heavily armored Iveco LMVs and 8 Tatra 810 gun trucks. They were tasked to help extract Donnish Forces stuck in the city. Cpt. Garza, the commander of the convoy and a member of the 1280th Rangers Battalion, looks at the surroundings and chaos as the vehicles approach the city while looking at the Esgonian Black Hawks carrying a few of his Ranger allies then slumps back. "We're heading to another Azenyanistan, aren't we?" he jokingly asks the driver as he inspects his HK416. The driver nods and chuckles. "I guess so sir, I can already see the chaos from out here." Garza nods and relays a message towards the other vehicles through the COMSTAT System installed on the Iveco LMV.

"Alright, guys. We're approaching the hot zone, be prepared for anything that might bother the ops. Remember, this is a large-ass city, which means civvies are around, Remember your training and avoid civvie casualties. Pick out any non-allies that seems to be holding an AK. And watch for IED and mines planted. We get in, get the Donnies out, then come home. Hope Mari blesses us today."

"Hooyah!" shouted the other men in the convoy, both Rangers and soldiers alike, along with them was Sgt. Asuka Surmaji, who, along with her other comrades, were assigned to this operation as they "were born for this". She loads up her M4A1 and presses the bolt catch as she shouts "Alright guys, let's lock and load, get ourselves up and ready, cause we're kicking some commie ass!" Her comrades and the commanders nod and cheer as they continue watching the road.

After 5 minutes, they come into contact with a blockade of enemy technicals, one of which opens fire on the convoy, stalling their advance. Garza immediately orders the gunners to suppress the positions while one of the soldiers immediately grabs an RPG-26 from the truck and fires at the blockade, destroying the technicals and the rubble blocking their path. They then continue their advance, plowing through the remains of the blockade. Just a few minutes later they immediately approach the city, and are met with hostile gunfire from rebel forces, the gunners in the LMV's and Gun Trucks, as well as the soldiers riding in the backs of the trucks, return fire at the open street and buildings, preventing the rebels from continuing to attack them. One of the soldiers manage to score a headshot onto a rebel soldier, and cheers as he reloads his M4A1. Then, they suddenly run into a crossfire between Vanquarian and rebel forces alike, and they know from experience that both don't give a damn about innocent lives, he immediately radios the Vanquarian forces in the area "Vanquarian unit, this is an Esgonian military convoy, we are approaching the city, requesting to limit your fire".

The Captain immediately watches in terror as unarmed civilians are being slaughtered by both Vanquarian and rebel forces, either with incendiaries, or automatic gunfire. The driver sees a family and a group of civilians taking cover in a corner of a building where a huge civilian mob used to be, cowering and crying as a little girl cradles a corpse of what appears to be her mother. Not taking any more of the insanity, the captain immediately orders the convoy to halt near where the family is cowering at and help out civilians trapped in the crossfire and provide cover fire, picking off a couple of rebels approaching their position while one of them motions the civilians to get inside the truck. The gunners lay down a hail of fire onto the rebels, taking as many as they can while smoke grenades were thrown in the direction of the Vanquarians, preventing them from hitting any more civilians. The civilians nod and get inside the convoy while the little girl was stubborn to let go of her dead mother. Asuka then gets out of one of the LMV's to help treat any wounded in the truck when she sees the little girl. She pats her in the back and tells her in a warm tone. "Come on, let's get out of here. There's nothing we can do about her now." The girl then stops crying and gets in the truck along with Asuka. As the last soldier disengages and returns to their respective vehicles, the convoy speeds off to their destination: The trapped Donnish company.

Elsewhere, the Black Hawks were heading to a specific point, the area around the shot down helicopter, there the Rangers would land in rooftops and provide a defensive cordon and support the Donnish Unit with sniper and machine gun fire until friendly forces could extract the Special Forces team. With the Vanquarian forces already dealing the damage for them, they had the opportunity to get there with little resistance.

Pilot Alex Nevskai, 27th Helicraft Squadron.

Alex hovered the chopper near the fountain. 4 hours later, he arrived after avoiding a Bofors gun and it was a mess. The town was in worse condition than he expected. He found a good landing spot to fit it, and brought it down. He opened the back door, and watched the soldiers pour out of the back of the helicopter.

Sergeant Vasalli Lechivik, 14th Infantry Platoon.

Vasalli poured out of the Chinook with his squad, and looked at the chaos for a moment before moving towards a group of Donnish troops, 8 or so saying "We're evac'ing Donnish troops on these helicopters over there, get on and we'll take you to a nearby airfield." The Donnish soldier looked relieved, before telling his squad to get on. Vasalli looked around and saw other Donnish soldiers getting on the helis, before noticing a few civies hiding in a basement, visible through the damaged door. Hiding from the fighting. He walked up, and opened the door and said "We're taking people to a nearby airport, get on if you wanna come out!" The group of civilians came out and while Vassili moved to cover, they ran towards the Chinook and got unboard. Vasalli's squad got ready to engage.

Pilot Alex Nevskai, 27th Helicraft Squadron.

The Donnish soldiers and civilians climbed onboard. Alex closed the back door while the soldiers and civies got straped into their seats and Alex took off, with Bofors fire near him. He flew to the designated LZ and got there, landing and unloaded before coming back.

Flight deck of the FNS Sasebo, off the south coast of Reutoa
Capt. Nanasawa Oda sat in the passenger compartment of a parked UH-1Y, admiring the airframe of the Jigabachi parked next to it. One of his sergeants was also admiring it, looking at it's gentle curves and folded flight surfaces. It was the next generation of attack helicopter, a one of a kind piece of steel with firepower to match it's advanced design. The pilots loved it, saying that the controls were both highly responsive and very stable. The Special Forces stationed on Sasebo also loved it. During the mock exercises, it responded almost instantaneously to calls for air support. Everyone had taken to calling it "Jigabachi", because when it first landed on the helicopter platform, it sounded like a swarm of angry wasps touched down.

For now, they were sitting on the deck edge, wings and rotors folded. Nobody seriously expected any action right now. But, it never hurt to be prepared. Suddenly, an alarm started blaring.

"General Quarters, General Quarters. All hands to Action Stations. Repeat, all hands to Action Stations. This is not a drill. Ship is on alert condition 2. Prepare for Amphibious ops. Repeat, prepare for Amphibious ops.

Oda stood up and jumped out of the helicopter, letting the deck crew handle the aircraft for imminent launch. He walked towards the hatch to the inside of the ship, heading for the ready rooms while the ground crews started to scramble for action. So, something was up in Reutoa...

Sergzen Ezek Green, Vaterunser, Defencive Line, South

Ezek rushed across the street as bullets peppered the ground around him. What seemed like a wave of Militia Fighters were running down the winding road that curved up and down. The Day was beginning to turn to Night as the sun set which only made the tracers more visible as they flew across the sky over the City. Hastily constructed sandbags transported in with Charlie Company created a wall from which they could fire from. Rangers and LG fired at the approaching enemy from the man made hill of bags expending Ammunition at will changing the Mags of their VAR-18's and grabbing another from a Box next to them. From afar they dropped like bricks tied to an anchor.

Ezek could only watch as Wounded were pulled to the town center up hill. One of the Charlie Company Rangers had rushed up to him from across the street, bullets peppering him as he ran. He dived inside and pulled himself against wall breathing deeply "Esgonians, Vanqaurians..." He breathed in deeply catching his breath"Oceanics, hell even the Ratteans are here. All for us." Ezek sighed in relief "Cavorel, that's the single best fucking news I've gotten since we crashed here. Go help the wounded to the town center, no doubt their going to try and land there. Tell everyone to move the wounded first! Got it?!" The Ranger nodded and ran to the Sandbag wall to one of the wounded as he was about to be towed away grabbing the Injured by his bloodied legs.

Ezeks HUD was lit up from all sides, North, South, East and West. Civilians were all over the place and they couldn't tell who was who as the Militia looked the same besides carrying guns. But the Donnish, with the help of their HUD, made sure no mistakes were made. The case of the south line was the case for every line. Militia were slowly advancing in on them in a circle. Pushing them and squeezing them more and more. The Wounded were close to being targets themselves and some even grabbed weapons to prepare for the possible inevitable.

Eluenst Duran Zikes, Town Center.

The sound of friendly chopper blades was Heavenly as Pacifican Choppers, though few due to the lack of space, landed in the Town Center. Relieved Donnish Troops began to climb in but Duran would have none of that. The Wounded were priority, he jogged to the aircraft. "Sergzens! Leave the Helicopter! Wounded are to be taken out first do you understand!" The Squads, though angry, complied and began helping loading everyone with a chest wound to a broken leg into the Helicopters until space was full. Only one Medic would go in the Helicopter. It would be a nightmare for them but they full well knee what was going on and they needed every gun on the ground fighting the Militia.

Small amounts of civilians could leave though not to many due to the wounded. The Helicopter would not escape harm as a 40mm Bofors on a roof tore through its Hull killing four Civilians instantly. Soon as the AA guns got properly set up, Tracer Fire from 8 different locations filled the sky in the City. 2 were now being transported up the south and north streets against the Donnish Troops.

Duran assembled the Pacifican Troops "I need you all to split up and fight on the lines on the main roads we have set up. I would also like 5 Squads making sure we don't get surprised from a flank cutting through the smaller streets and alleys past the main roads. We're spread pretty thin and we can't afford being overrun now. Go, go!"

The Vanqaurians had definitely gained the attention of the Militia as a front was dedicated to holding the Vanqaurians off so the Militia could move in further. Though as this happened, Air power from all Nations began decimating Militia movements within the city and evaporating barricades along with their defenders in the outskirts. The main bulk of the force was still assaulting the Donnish Positions.

Cavorel Ver Nerosti, East Line

"I need a Mag, does anyone have any spare Ammo!?" Ver yelled out as bullets wizzed over their heads creating a terrifying cutting sound through the air. A black rectangle was thrown across the Sandbag wall landing infront of him and grabbed it placing it into the Bullpup Assault Rifle. The Line was being hit hard especially in the East. Ammo was low here and they were about to give out. Dead piled up on the sandbags and Ver was some of the last there and more and more Donnish died around him. It was at the point where Militia were starting to run over the Wall. Only 5 Donnish Soliders remained including Ver.

A shrieking sound of a rocket hit his ears and the Sandbag wall blew apart sending him with it and the 4 others along with him. Dazed and his eyes blurry debris still raining on him he grabbed his Bayonet unable to find his Rifle and his sidearm from his holster and stood up facing the now destroyed Sandbag wall. A Militia fighter ran up ontop of the destroyed sandbags and aimed his Rifle at the disorientated Ranger. Before he could pull the trigger three Pistol shots rang out and the Fighter fell backwards rolling down over the corpses and debris. Another and another ran over and Ver kept firing as his Mag soon depleted and a click met his almost deaf ears. He grabbed an AK-47 from the ground and as he raised it another ran over only to receive a burst of automatic fire up and down his body falling like a sack down the wall. "Kill me! Kill me you bastards!" He pleaded with enemy. His Visor was cracked, dirty and barely functional. He looked around and saw as he was the last one of the East Line. His Comrades Dani and Vereek dead on the ground among the other Rangers of Charlie Company. Blood had soaked the road collecting against the sand bags and soaking through pouring down the hill.

Another Millitant ran up the wall dieing instantly with a shot to the head. Ver began backing up from the wall aiming his weapon towards it waiting for more but as his eye sight crested above the destroyed wall the horde revealed itself rushing up the side walks. A Fighter Aircraft of some sort dropped a bomb exploding in the middle of the street buying Ver time to run. But as he began to run a familiar voice called out to him. He turned to see that Vereek was not dead and Ver rushed down pulling Vereek up ontop of him carrying him. He could feel the warm blood seeping down the back of his neck, down his arms and over his shoulder. But he kept running not looking back all the while consoling his comrade who no longer had legs carrying him up hill. He could hear the yelling behind him and only ran faster.

The Mob chased him up the hill only for them to get gunned down by the 2nd Defencive Line in the East. Ver was still miles from the Town Center...

As the Esgonian Helicopter neared closer to the LZ designated "St.Vincent" by the Donnish Troops it received more and more gun fire from the roof tops as they got only 7 miles into the City. A Fighter loaded with a RPG-7 popped over his cover and aimed at the approaching Black Hawk and fired. The Missile shrieking towards the Helicopter aimed for the Cockpit.

There was nowhere in the City safe from the Gun fire. You could hear it from above, below and from even outside the City. Screaming was put in place of birds chirping. And explosions replacing the sounds of kids playing.
Heyo.

Sergeant Vasalli Lechivik, 14th Infantry Platoon. 1st Wall, East Line.

Vasalli and 3 other soldiers ran up to a ruined building and entered. The room was completely wrecked, but they saw a intact staircase. They walked up it and led to a hallway with plenty of windows, giving Vasalli a perfect position. He put down his radio and spoke to one of the Chinook pilots, saying "This is 2nd Squad. I've found a perfect building to fire on the rebels from, can you get me any Hesco barriers to fortify?" The pilot responded, saying "I'm at the airfield as we speak, I'll get you some Hesco barriers."

A few minutes later a Chinook came in, landed and unloaded around 5 Hesco barriers and plenty of sandbags. Vasalli and a few other soldiers lugged them to the hallway, before setting them down and fortifying the windows. A soldier came in with a M249 SAW and set up on a balcony further upstairs. Suddenly, a wave of rebels came charging in towards the town center. Vasalli and his men waited a few moments until they were impossible to miss, and yelled "Fire!" Suddenly, the wave was cut down mercilessly. Rebels were falling on the ground, dead as fast as they had came. More rebels poured in, and Vasalli kept firing while the rebels were being mercilessly slaughtered. Eventually, it stopped. Everyone reloaded, and one or two men were sent to lug up ammo to the position.

Pilot Nikolai Soarchlavich, 27th Helicraft Squadron.

Nikolai flew over the town wih 2 other Apaches doing recon, mostly just firing Gatling's at clumps of rebels. Suddenly, a message came in. "All units, be advised: Enemy has plenty of anti-air weaponry and they're not afraid of shooting helis down. All the Apaches we have need to go wipe them out. As far as we know they don't have any advanced stuff like SAM's but they have RPG's and what appears to be flak." Nikolai responded "Copy." He flew northbound towards where he suspected there might be anti-air when a RPG shot out of a building. He dodged it, saying "RPG in that building. Hang on, I'm smoking him." He then fired a missile at the building, destroying part of the wall and killing the RPG gunner.

He then heard through the radio "Flak gun on a roof near the town center." He quickly through to the center, clearly visible before unleashing 3 missiles on the rooftop. The roof was gone. He repositioned and saw another wave of rebels charging. He spoke into the radio "Another counter-attack incoming on town center, I'll take care of it." The rebels stormed up the main road before Nikolai littered the entire road with missiles. The counter-attack was repulsed.

Second Lieutenant Cristan Avologrod, 14th Infantry Platoon, Town Center.

Cristan took inventory of the situation. The Donnish were wanting his Platoon to cover all the alleyways and more narrow routes, and he got on it with the exception of 2nd Squad, which he sent to help the pressured Donnish on the East. He walked up to Duran, the man who seemed to be in charge of the Donnish. He told the Donnish commander "I have a demo specialist on hand, and I don't think neither of us want the rebels getting your chopper and the demo guy has explosives. Mind if we blow up your chopper?"

Vatenruser, Reutoa
In the Distance, Vehicles and Aircraft could be heard. Columns of tanks, APC and IFV's supported by AH-6C's from above. The Troops were going to attack the Reutoan city of Vatenruser, which was occupied by communist. Approaching the city, the Column saw that the conflict had already commenced. Wanting to assist their allies, the Column rushed into the city.
Entering the city, All units were put on alert. As the units traveled deeper into the city the group began encountering resistance, putting the Convoy to a full stop. As the Convoy was halted, the APC's and IFV's let their troops disembark to deal with the problem. While the infantry on the ground took care of their problem, the Special Forces continued to their objective.

Continuing towards the objective, once the special forces would arrive at their point they would assist their allies until transport helicopters came and Evacuated them out of the city. As the UH-60's approached near the objective, the men began preparing to rope down. Hovering above their respected buildings, the UH-60 Opened their side doors to allow the SF inside to rope down to the rooftops. Letting down their ropes down, the SF began descending down to the rooftops. Once all were on the ground, they began clearing out their respective building. Once all regrouped again, they began heading towards the Donnish Company.

Southern Donnish Defensive Line, SSgt. Alehin Praga, 1280th Rangers Battalion

While the Black Hawks approach the Southern Defensive Line, Alehin checks his HK416 as he sees the pilots from below the pilot spots a soldier firing an RPG-7 at them. In a split-second action, he immediately swerves back to the right, tilting the helicopter along with the Rangers inside, making Alehin almost fall from the helicopter and plummet to his death. Luckily, he manages to grab the mount of the M134 Minigun of the door gunner as the helicopter tries to stabilize. Seconds later, the helo makes it through as it hovers above their designated rooftop.

As the helicopters approach the landing point, the door gunners lay waste to the Militia forces on the rooftops with their M134s as the Rangers immediately get out of the choppers and land on the rooftops around them, securing the area of any Militia fighters in the rooftops. Alehin and his men immediately get off the helicopter as the other helicopters scamper off the hot zone and return to base, with the door gunners suppressing miltia small arms and RPG fire. As everyone managed to get out unscathed, it was time to go to work. The 5 Marksmen position their scoped G3's at enemy RPG positions and any militiamen trying to approach the Donnish Forces while 5 other Rangers support the Marksmen with their scoped HK-416s and FN Minimis. The remaining 8, including Alehin, immediately gets down from the building and run towards the Donnish forces, waving towards them while marksmen cover their approach. Alehin spots a militiaman trying to bayonet him before he is killed with a short burst from his HK416. The Rangers immediately jump on the defensive line and link up with the Donnish seconds later. With Alehin greeting them.

"You're the Donnish Guys?" He asks one of the Donnish soldiers. "I'm Staff Sergeant Praga, Esgonian 1280th Rangers Battalion. We're here to provide backup and support to you guys as an extraction convoy is now heading for us." he affirms as the other Rangers in the defensive line take position, SAW Gunners go prone and deploy bipods, laying waste to approaching fighters while snipers take out targets of interest, including enemy sharpshooters and RPG Troopers.

Somewhere in Vatenruser, Cpt. Mikhail Garza, 1280th Rangers Battalion

Meanwhile, the convoy continues to push through the city as the chaos increases, with allied forces already suppressing and mowing down countless rebel fighters. It gives the convoy a little ease while the cut down stragglers with .50 BMG from either their M2s or GAU-19s mounted on their vehicles. Along the way, they pick up more civilians trapped in the crossfire, making the count of rescued civilians up to 20. They are safe for now, as the Tatra's container vans are well armored to protect the crew inside against small arms fire. Asuka tries to console the little girl and the other children and tells them to calm down while at the same time, treats a civilian's wound on his leg. The Captain, in one of the Iveco LMVs, inspects the GPS System and sees that they are still 8 klicks from the Town Center, where the Donnish forces were held up. Knowing this, the Captain immediately radios the Donnish forces. "Donnish Forces, this is an Esgonian Military Extraction Convoy, we're approaching your position. What's your status, over?".

Four helicopters zipped low over the Reutoan landscape. They were all marked in FAP livery, the FAP roundel and "Marines" in block text, all in low-visibilty paint. Two helicopters were Venom Hueys, their fatter fuselages and light grey camouflage identifying them as the perfectly average transport version. They were filled to the brim with soldiers, one with Marine Force Reconnaissance troops and the other with SEALs. The door guns on the one carrying the SEALs were M134 miniguns, while the other was armed with M2 .50 cal machine guns. Both had two 7 shot rocket pods mounted on the sides. The other helicopters were XAH-29 Jigabachi attack helicopters, an experimental prototype. They were vaguely reminiscent of AH-1s, but had contra-rotating rotors and large wings loaded down with missiles and rocket pods, as well as two Sidewinder missiles. They were painted in a matte black finish, presumably to denote their experimental status as well as provide concealment at night. Their unique humming sound made them sound like wasps.

The Jigabachis were at the front of the group, scanning the terrain below. Momentarily, they would arrive over the target zone. Oda worked the action on his HK417, checking that it worked properly. Satisfied with this third check, he slapped a magazine inside and closed the action, but left the rifle on safe. While checking the scope on his rifle, Oda was checking the comm traffic. The pacificans had apparently reinforced the trapped Donnish special forces. Good, that gave us extra time. What was important now was to extract with a minimum of casualties and collateral damage. By reinforcing the Esgonians and Pacificans, the Portean force hoped to help open up an escape corridor. A CH-53 back on Sasebo was being prepped for launch in case heavy lifting power was required.

"We're in the target zone" reported the lead Jigabachi, as the scenery below changed to that of an urban environment. "What the hell... the Vanquarians are making a mess again!". Oda looked out over the battlescape and saw the destruction being caused by the Vanquarian force. He cursed. "Idiots, don't they know COIN warfare? They're doing more harm than good right now..."

The helicopters swung around to a landing zone somewhere near the southern Donnish defensive line, and the Jigabachis and Hueys started laying down heavy suppressing fire. Miniguns roared and Hellfire missiles were fired to destroy any AA that revealed themselves. MANPADS were systematically slaughtered while the Hueys hovered over nearby streets and dropped rappelling ropes. Portean troops started to deploy, sliding down the ropes into the rotor wash-filled street. Once they were down, the Hueys pulled up the ropes and started circling the area, ready to provide CAS if needed. All the while, the Jigabachis flew overhead, providing tactical information as well as destroying rooftop targets. Any AA that revealed itself was attacked before they could open fire.

The Porteans had moved into the buildings, moving along alleys and over rooftops until the rendezvoused with the Donnish. A sniper team armed with an AWF set up with a rooftop position, giving them a clear view of the surroundings. Oda interjected when he saw some Esgonian introduce themselves to a Donnish soldier. "Capt. Nanasawa, Navy Special Warfare. We're here with reinforcements" he introduced himself.

Eluenst Duran Zikes, Town Center.

"I have a demo specialist on hand, and I don't think neither of us want the rebels getting your chopper and the demo guy has explosives. Mind if we blow up your chopper?" The Pacifican Spoke as Duran took note of more friendly forces moving into the area. "Please, that thing isn't going anywhere anyway so load it up with explosives. Just make sure it doesent go off until we get everyone out." By now, the Injured were fluidly being moved out as soon as they came in, but with reinforcements it wasn't just the Donnish being hurt now. It was risky with AA but they were now being cleaned up by the immense air supremacy over the Town. RPG's were still a threat however no matter how inaccurate they could be.

Soon, Rattean SF roped in from Helicopters ontop of Buildings providing support to the defencive. But as far as they knew the Militia had infinite man power and all the time in the world to fight. Duran knew they had to get out of the Town center and abandon the Defencive Line but it seemed they had gotten their chance when the attacks stopped, presumably to recover and regroup and attack again later. Duran decided to use this time to make their escape.

All Friendly forces in the city, we're moving out of the Town Center. According to what a few civilians know there is a sports field nearby big enough to facilitate a large Evacuation. The problem is its in the North near the edge of the town. This will be known as LZ Asclepius. Do not land at the Town Center unless you're planning to take some of the remaining wounded, otherwise all forces will regroup at LZ Asclepius. Duran Zikes said into the Radio alerting everyone to the change of Venue.

Then notifying the Esgonia Convoy inbound Glad you could make it. But we're moving positions so if you could pick some of us up.and take us to LZ Asclepius that'd be swell. We're currently about to move out towards the north so I'm pretty sure you can catch up. We'll be using the side walks.

Sergzen Ezek Green, South Defencive Line.

As soon as the Esgonians had arrived the Militia had begun to turn tail as their numbers quickly thinned due to the extra fire power. This was happening across every Defencive Line including the East where the first one had fallen creating a dent in the lines. The main roads were cleared of everything except corpses and Vehicles littering the large main road. Bodies taking up the 3 lanes of each side cars drove on going forwards and backwards. Ezek had gone into a resting position on the wall instead of a fighting one recovering from the battle that had taken almost 2 days to end.

"You're the Donnish Guys?" Sergzen Ezek Green heard as one of the Esgonians talked to him "You fucking tell me." He had soon identified himself as Staff Sergeant Praga of the Esgonian Rangers telling him the reason for being sent. They weren't as nearly tired as the Donnish that had sat at the wall firing for an entire day dodging death. "Sergzen Green, 10th Imperial Ranger Battalion SCAR. I can't say I'm not happy to see you. We're about to move out to LZ Asclepius, if you'd like to join us on our merry walk, we'd love the company." He said staggering to his feet glad to not have gunfire in his ears for once.

It wasn't long before FAP Helicopters ruined the silence firing on anything that moved on the rooftops essentially destroying the rest of the AA the Militia had. Capt. Nanasawa introduced himself after it settled down once more "Welcome to the party, we don't have alot of dip so you'll have to share." Nodding at the Portean "All Defencive lines, regroup at the Northern Line. We're going on a hike to LZ Asclepius." He heard over the Radio "Wonderful, 1st Southern Line on me! Let's go!" The 20 or so men left on the first defencive line begun to walk to the Town center and soon the forces regrouped hiking down the North. 60 Donnish Soldiers, 30 marching on either side of the main road watching the roofs and the road for soldiers and IED's alike. They could see the stadium from the where they were. It was big, the civilians weren't lying. A large scale evacuation would be no problem, or atleast that's what they hoped.
Heyo.

Shock Troopers took advantage of their armoured support to engage rebel positions from a secure position in the forests north of the Reutoan town which was currently the battefield of a mess of a fight.

Vanquarian tanks fired shells at apartments, regardless of whether there were civilians inside or not in order to cause more collateral damage to the Communist militia entrenched within. Mortar teams shot indiscriminately onto the town while the Super Cobras and Raptors gave the militia a display of what happens when incendiary missiles go berserk.

Capt. Geral Erza was overlooking a detailed map of the town behind a Jar-Kai IFV that was releasing round after round of mini-gun fire at the town's north. An ambitious officer in the Shock Corps the 30-year old captain was a student of Warmaster Steiner, such that he even praised the Massacre of Mecca as a strategic victory.

'Status report!' he ordered to one of his lieutenants manning the communications.

'30 wounded, zero casualties!' replied Geral's subordinate.

Nodding in satisfaction the Captain thought, This should be an easy victory. The militia do not possess weapons capable of effectively damaging our armour. And their equipment according to intel is poor. With so many foreign militaries participating perhaps it be best if I withdraw a battalion from this fight?

No, that would be merely a waste...hmmm...instead I should take make use of our numbers to deploy, the 3rd Legion detachment down to the south of the town to secure a route and point for the allied forces. While in the north here...

Glancing towards the north of the town which was receving the full force of Vanquarian firepower, I'll destroy this sector of the town heheheh

Soon a battalion was on its way down south, taking a route that would help them avoid enemy fire.

The main concentrated Vanquarian force however were beginning to focus fire on strcutures within sight, aiming to cause indiscriminate collateral damage to seriously hinder militia movement.

'Keep engaging! I don't care if the militia waves a white flag or their is a risk of indirect civilian casualties and there is is no risk of friendly fire as all allies are further south! We have the incendiaries and the explosives so waste em all!' commanded Geral into his com.device to his men.

With ominous glee the Vanquarian gunners inside the armoured vehicles held their fingers on the trigger, enjoying the unrestricted destruction of the north side of town.

Southern Donnish Defensive Line, SSgt. Alehin Praga, 1280th Rangers Battalion

"Oh hell, I would love to! Beats being stuck here all day in a ditch!" Responds the Ranger in a delighted tone. As the rebels thinned out, the soldiers and marksmen ceased fire, as soon as they took down a rebel. "Well he certainly received the D well!" said the Ranger next to Alehin after taking a straggler down with his HK416. Alehin then radios the Marksmen and other soldiers who were on the rooftops. "All units this net, this is Dragon 1-Actual. We're to head out to a stadium north of here, dubbed LZ Asclepius. Disengage and follow the Donnish forces, over." Immediately, the Marksmen complies, disengages, and links up with the others on the ground, where they were already with the Donnish forces. The Rangers quickly follow the area, where they could also see the large stadium. "Hope the convoy gets here on time." says one of the Marksmen as they follow the Donnish and the Rangers from the other side of the street, where they could cover their side of any militiaman. A Marksman quickly sees a fighter come out of the windows of the building taking aim at the Donnish with his AKM, he quickly dispatches him with his G3A3 as the fighter's body falls to the ground, directly next to the other Rangers. Alehin gives a thumbs up to them as they continue advancing carefully, making sure they wouldn't be ambushed or some sort.

Near the Town Center, Cpt. Mikhail Garza, 1280th Rangers Battalion

"Copy that. We'll pick up the wounded and some of you guys over at the Town Center then make our way to you, over." The convoy was now nearing the center by this time, after nearly half an hour evading and fighting off enemy attacks and RPG fire on their sides, picking out rebel fighters and plowing through barricades as they could no longer see any living civilians, which horrified them. "God, this place is becoming a hell-hole." one of the Rangers said as they continue on. Minutes later, they arrive at the Town Center, with the soldiers immediately disembarking from the trucks and helping out the wounded and loading them up in the trucks as Asuka and the other medics tend to the wounded. The Captain immediately approaches the Donnish who were still at the Center and says to them "Sorry we came late to the party, got a little traffic out there." as the soldiers quickly get the wounded inside while picking out the rebels, shot after shot. Soon, two of the convoy trucks were now full of either wounded or scared civilians. Knowing this, he knew that a much larger force was needed to get them all out of there, so he calls to HQ for additional vehicles to help out. "CnC, this is Raven-1 Actual. Requesting additional lift to support evac, over."

Sergeant Vasalli Lechivik, 14th Infantry Platoon. 1st Wall, East Line.

Vasalli and his men were doing well so far, helping out against the militia attacking the East of the city. He looked around, and realized that the attack on the East Side would only intensify further. He rushed up to a radio, adjusted the frequency and said "This is 2nd Squad, we're on the First Defensive line the Donnish have on the east side of the city. It looks like the militia are pushing at the east, I'd like some fortifications to be flown onto my position. I mostly just need a bunch of Hesco barriers, sandbags and a dozen or so ammo crates." A response came in. "Copy. We'll try and send in your defensive structures but there's AA fire all over the city, and if they're attacking your position like what you said it's going to be real dangerous to just fly in." Vasalli replied "Understood." He reloaded his clip. "If we make the East impenetrable, that's one front the Donnish don't need to worry about." he thought.

About ten minutes later, 2 Apaches came in and preformed a gun run on some nearby Bofors guns. Afterwards, the Chinook flew in and landed on a open space. Vasalli and his men slowly lugged all the defensive structures to the door of the building they were in. After a few minutes, all the equipment was unloaded, and the Chinook flew off to go pick up more wounded. 7 of the ammo crates were lugged over to the Donnish position, and the Donnish troops were clearly quite happy. The rest, along with the Hesco barriers and sandbags were dragged into the building, except for a few barriers which were positioned in alleyways to block them off.

Vasalli's men fortified any gaps in the building, and then set down the ammo crates and reloaded. The building was a fortress now, and Vasalli knew that if a counter-attack succeeded here, the rebels would have lots of supplies at their use.

Second Lieutenant Cristan Avologrod, 14th Infantry Platoon, Town Center.

After hearing the Donnish commanders reply, Cristan walked over to the demolitions expert and said "Alright, I've gotten clearance to rig that Donnish chopper over there" he pointed at the wrecked chopper. "with as much dynamite you have on you, and obliterate it. Get over there and start rigging it. The chopper can only explode when every friendly here is gone from the city, you get me?" The demo expert nodded, and ran off.

He heard a radio transmission from his headpiece. "Be advised, the 4th Armor Platoon will be here in ETA one hour, I repeat, the 4th Armor Platoon will be here in one hour." Cristan smiled. He walked over to the Donnish commander, and said "Good news, you currently have 50 tanks coming in, and they're friendly." Meanwhile in the background, a Apache flew over their heads while a Chinook, fully loaded with the Donnish wounded took off for the LZ.

Southern Donnarish Defensive Line, 1280th Rangers Battalion

Frederick ran through the Buildings of Ruin that use to be Vaterunser, he looked and saw Esgonian Soldiers, he at first thought they were The Devils, or what the Reutoans just had started calling Soldiers from Vanq, who had already gunned down innocent People, As a Boy of 14 years of age, Frederick had been in 8th Grabe in the Vaterunser Secondary School, as a member of the Schools Military Clud, where they allowed you to shoot at Shooting Areas on School Days, he had stolen a Pistol when the Donnerish Soldiers had attacked a Reutoan City, which had 2 Million in it, now, the City, he had , had less then 280,000, most fleeing to the Donnerish and Esgonian Armies, he ran up to a Soldier and said

"Gutan Ta Foreigners, tell me, how goes the Killing of my Friends and Culture going?"

He revealed his pistol under his coat and threw it to the ground, several of his friends that were also part of the Schools Shooting Club came out and threw their guns to the Ground as well, bringing their Families, a total of 23 Families, some Crying, and others covered in Blood, or Wounded beyond belief.

Town Center, Sgt. Hestia Ayukara, 1280th Rangers Battalion

As the wounded are getting treated by the other medics, Asuka decides to get out of the truck to inspect the amount of wounded, as instructed by the Captain. Outside, she could see the chaos as gunfire and screams are heard all around. "POUR IT ON EM! GIVE EM THE D!" Shouted a soldier as he poured his magazine onto a rebel position while another drags a wounded Donnish onto a truck, She then sees a child coming towards their position, she points her HK416 at him before he said something and revealed his pistol. The other soldiers also took notice of this and started turning their rifles onto them as the other children also reveal their guns. But before Hestia and the others could pull the trigger, they all drop their guns onto the ground. Feeling relieved, she approaches the boy, looks at him, and gives him a good gloveslap to the cheek.

"You idiot! You and your friends would have been dead by now." She then takes notice at the other people coming in next to them. There were a lot of people coming towards them, heavily wounded and in need on medical attention. "Dammit. Kid, get in the truck, I'll help them out." She and her other comrades then help out in loading them towards the trucks, which were full of wounded as Asuka and the others try to keep them alive. The convoy has now 5 trucks full. 3 are still empty. They knew they had to get more vehicles in to help out. Luckily, that call was answered, as they heard reports that a group of Chinooks and Apaches were now underway, complete with Air Support coming from the Carrier Battle Group stationed off the coast. As soon as the last person was inside. The soldiers immediately disengage and the convoy speeds off towards the stadium, hoping to link up with the others.

Second Leftenant Harold Savlargen, Commander of 4th Armor Platoon.

The long line of armor slowly moved into the town center. The entire platoon consisted of light 'Bohemond' APCs, with infantry riding inside each one. The first few drove into the town center and parked themselves out of the way, while more piled in. Eventually, 10 of the APCs were parked in the center or near it. Harold climbed out of the commanders hatch and hopped off the APC while the door opened and infantry deployed out.

While he looked at his units, he heard a message through the radio. "All elements of the 4th Platoon, you are to move to the stadium in the North of the city, erect defensive positions and then defend a Donnish attempt at evac'ing." Harold walked back up and climbed into the hatch while the infantry crawled back in. He said on the radio "Alright, I'm moving my Platoon to the stadium." The first few Bohemonds turned and went down a road heading north while the other APCs followed with Apaches covering their route.

Sergeant Vasalli Lechivik, 14th Infantry Platoon. 1st Wall, East Line.

Vasalli heard the message. "All units, move to the stadium in the North of the city." He cursed out in frustration. But, he realized that when the Chinook arrived, he could just take all the equipment with him. After a few minutes, the Chinook arrived and Vasalli, along with his men, slowly loaded all the defensive structures and ammo crates onboard. Once that was done, they took seats in the cramped Chinook. A Apache chopper flew nearby and destroyed what appeared to be a Bofors, then the Chinook flew off to the Stadium. Once they landed in the middle of the empty stadium, they unloaded and moved the barriers and sandbags to block off most means of entry. They let a few open for friendlies, but once all the Donnish were there, they would seal off everything. A few Bohemonds arrived, and they carefully positioned themselves to cover the larger entrances while infantry covered the more narrow ones.

Sgt. Hestia Ayukara, 1280th Rangers Battalion

The convoy continues to speed ahead of the Town Center, carrying as much wounded as they can while the Pacificans pick up the rest and help lock down the defensive lines. With the Porteans already hovering above them, they now have the upper hand, Hestia takes this as a moments break as she loads up more rounds on her magazine before loading it back to her rifle. Their gunner opens fire upon what remains of the rebels, when he sees a rebel soldier armed with a sniper rifle. The rebel fires and the gunner goes black and falls off his turret seconds later.

"Greg is down! SOMEONE GET ON THAT GUN NOW!" shouted someone from inside the LMV as his blood spills throughout the floor. In a split-second, she decides that she has to do this "I hope Ilya is doing better at home than I here" She gets to the turret and returns fire, unleashing a storm of .50 BMG onto the rebels with the GAU-19, completely shredding them apart. After a few minutes, they finally manage to link up with the Donnish forces and the other Rangers. They open the doors and tell the Rangers and the Donnish "Get inside, now!".
Another generic Westernized/Japanized nation with some Eastern stuff to it. Nothing special.

As Oda and the Portean Special Forces moved north, the helicopters continued to circle overhead. The Porteans were moving north one street away from the Esgonians, keeping the pressure off of the main force while opening up a potential detour if the force ever got bogged down. A Huey stopped to put some fire into enemy positions, a door gunner half out of the passenger cabin was firing an M2 Browning, firing in short bursts. The solid report of the gun resonated through the air over the rotors. The wing man of the helicopter moved in and fired a couple rockets, apparently finishing off the position because both Hueys moved on. One Jigabachi hovered low over the Donnish and Esgonians moving along the main route. When several squads appeared in the windows of an office building to ambush the force, the Jigabachi opened fire with it's 30mm Gatling gun. It hosed down the side of the building, raining broken glass, dust, and chunks of concrete down onto the street below. The heavy fire from the cannon ripped into the insurgents, turning them into chunks of meat and a red mist. No further movement came from the building, so the Jigabachi backed off to scan for more targets.

The other Jigabachi was flying over the Vanquarians, keeping an eye on their activity while providing accurate air support when necessary. Which, based on the personal opinions of the crew, wasn't always often. Suddenly, one insurgent popped out with a Stinger. The pilot, reacting entirely on instinct, jinked hard to the right. The response time was excellent for a helicopter, and the aircraft barely avoided getting hit with the first shot. A burst of cannon fire made sure it was the insurgent's only one. All the while, the Jigabachi kept recording the Vanquarian rampage. "Fools" thought the pilot "if they think they're winning any kind of gratitude from us, they're dead wrong. I can't imagine what kind of mess the diplomatic corps is gonna have to deal with. If this insurgency shit continues, we'll have to get involved before the Vanqs take credit for a genocide masqueraded as peacekeeping. Personally, I hope we invade...". He didn't have time to mull it over, as some insurgents pulled a tarp off of a 23mm AA gun sitting on a roof. Looks like the Jigabachi's trial by fire will last all day...

Second Leftenant Harold Savlargen, Commander of 4th Armor Platoon.

As the Bohemonds slowly drove to the stadium, new orders were coming in. "4th Armor, we have reports of large rebel activity a click north of the stadium, aerial recon says there are quite alot of AA. Our helia are busy elsewhere, so I need you to secure the area and get rid of the AA." Harold replied "Loud and Clear, willco." He gave the order to the other units, and drove to the area designated. 6 of the APC's drove down the long street cautiously before a RPG warhead was spotted coming from a window. The APCs stopped, and a RPG hit a vulnerable spot on one of the APCs, destroying the APC.

Harold's APC fired on the building it had came from, and a few shells from the 40mm autocannon had brought the section of wall down, and put a big hole in the floor where the RPG gunman used to be. A few communists sprung out, being swiftly obliterated by autocannon fire. The attack had stopped and came to a lull. They continued towards areas where tracer rounds were firing from the Bofors, until they reached a courtyard surrounded by militia. They were cleared out, and Harold's Bohemond peeked through the alleyway enterence, killing any who hadn't hid. The infantry deployed out the back, and cleared out the square. There was a Bofors gun, with some ammo crates nearby and a few RPGs. The infantry planted explosives on the gun, and placed the ammo crates and RPGs right next to the Bofors. The Bohemonds and infantry got to a safe distance, and blew them up. Then, they moved to a building with a operating gun on the roof, cleared the building out, and then killed the crew, and blew the gun. The airspace in that section of the city was open now. Suddenly, Harold spoke into the radio "Objective completed. Anti-Air weaponry in the area destroyed, militia cleared out and supplies destroyed. Orders?" The radio replied "Guard the area surrounding the stadium."

Soundtrack

Near the Reutoan Coast, 1st Lt. Rebeka Maghart, 116th Naval Fighter Squadron

"Let's get our fangs up again, Erika" she said to her WSO as they head on deck. Her squadron was tasked to launch air assaults and soften up defenses to support the Rangers and pave way for the Marine invasion. Within a few minutes, they were now all set to go. Their flight lead, Silviana, once again checks her squadron if they were all set. "Valkyrie-1-2, all set." "Valkyrie-1-3, all set." Silviana confirms this, and takes off. Followed up by Rebeka, then their new addition to the squadron, Ashley. The other fighters will take off a few minutes after them, and will be assigned to a different location or task. From there, they fly towards the battlezone, which was turning into a wasteland every second.

Their first task was to soften up enemy Bofors AA cannons that would hamper air support, especially for the Warthogs and the invasion, in which most of the Marines will be using Ka-60 helicopters. Rebeka's WSO spots a group of them, one of them mounted to a cargo truck. They first make sure that there were no civilians around the vicinity. "Spot any unarmed civilians, Erika?" she asks as her WSO continues scanning. "Negative, Becky, dropping ordinance on positions now." As she lets off 2 GBUs onto the group of AA, completely annihilating the position. Both Silviana and Ashley each take out a group, in which Sil also annihilated a group of T-55s while Ashley completely destroyed a building full of enemy combatants. They could also spot Vanquarians systematically slaughtering anything, armed combatants and civilians. Ericka was tempted to drop ordinance onto them before she was stopped by Rebeka. "You'll just make it worse for us, just don't. Okay?" "Ugh....fine....fuck 'em either way..." Erika sighs angrily as they continue to fly around the area, while the other Hornets are also conducting strikes in the area.

Meanwhile, CnC operating from the Hospital FOB immediately contacts all friendly forces in the area as the Carrier Battle Group slowly approaches the Reutoan Coast.
"Attention all friendly forces in Vatenruser, this is CnC, be advised, an Esgonan Marine invasion to the region will launch in 3 hours, recommended that you finish up objectives and exfiltrate the area before they arrive, out."

Oracle Operating Post,Firebase Delta, Reutoa
Little could be heard in the small metal compartment apart from the occasional breath and sound as the operators monitored the communications and intelligence of the area. Sighing in boredom, one of the operators, a new recruit who had only been recently attached, starting to close his eyes when a sudden burst of sound erupted from his station. Nearly jumping out of his seat, he leant closer to try and identify the interruption. Alerting the Chief of communications with a quick tap of an emergency button just in case, he started scrolling through the frequencies to try and remove most of the static emanating from the station. Starting to believe he had imagined it, he started to sit back down when a second message burst from the nearby speaker. Though it was a whole lot clearer with most of the static removed, he still had difficulty hearing it. After initiating the Oracle system's powerful software, he was able to narrow down where it had came from and finally make it easy to hear, though still with a lot of static remaining in the message. As the Chief turned into his station, the message started to play "Tattered Cloak....Broken..Dagger."
"Private, where did that come from?" the Chief hurriedly asked, sweat starting to appear on his brow. "Um, let me see... Oracle has managed to narrow it down to some town named Vaterunser." the private replied, confused with the sudden urgency by the chief. "Private, scramble some CAS and get someone on the line with the Valkyries stationed in Fort Duskguard." the chief replied before hurrying back to his own station. Still confused by the chief's behaviour, the private began to skim through the many codes in the reference program embedded in the Oracle's software. Finally finding it, he cursed briefly under his breath before activating his headset and starting to raise the airstrip.

Over Vaterunser, Reutoa
Filling the air with a loud roaring, the two AC130s circled above the town like vultures above a carcass. Sitting in silence, the pilots thought about the destruction they were about to wreak. Activating his headset, the head pilot broadcasted over a general frequency "All allied troops, this is Skyhammer actual, anyone need some air support?"
Goodbye Azen, You'll be sorely missed friend

Eluenst Duran Zikes

The march surrounded by gunfire soon turned into a retreat if sorts as Militia began to reposition to fire on the moving troops. The Donnish Soldiers fired at anything moving over the small half walls that were ontop of each building as they went down to the Stadium. They wee close and could see the Pacifican Chinooks landing in the stadium. With binoculars, Duran could see barriers and other defences being put up around it.

The Esgonian, Portean and Pacifican forces soon arrived escorting the Donnish Troops quickly through the road. Offering a ride the Donnish SF jumped in the sides of Humvees while Rangers climbed ontop of various armored vehicles firing as they moved keeping Militia heads down. Portean Helicopters above them mow down anything and everything posing a threat and the AA presence has been destroyed effectively.

Duran sitting ontop of a Esgonian Humvees had seen the rest of the Donnish SF and counted their heads but only saw 13 as 1 had been wounded and taken away and the other killed both on the east line the only SF remaining from the line being Cavorel Ver. Rangers that couldn't find space on the Convoy began running alongside the Armored Vehicles their legs couldn't give up in fear of being left behind, soon enough a few began to trip up with another coughing up vomit and spitting it out in front of Duran. It was a full on rout from the City and for good reason since the City would become host to an Invasion to remove the Insurgent presence once and for all. The Battle of Vaterunser. LZ Asclepius was close.

More and more gunfire as the convoy moved through the main road sounded until they finally reached the now barricaded and defended parking lot surrounded by H-Barriers and other defencive structures. The Esgonian Convoy rolled in and the Portean Air Support covered them as one by one they entered the stadium and the exhausted Donnish soldiers could rest. The SF however kept watch from the entrance looking over the barriers as the Rebels had been long gone it seemed.

Duran Zikes was tapped the shoulder, Boghaim Kleir was behind him. "You've done a hell of a job. I've been in contact with command about our situation, they aren't happy.", "When are they happy, Sir.", "Never. I've got a suspicion, get the soldiers ready and anyone who's rested. They're going to throw everything they got against us now."

Sky Hammer actual this is Donnish Ground forces, anything armed you make dissapear. DO NOT, REPEAT, DO NOT FIRE ON THE STADIUM. Evacuation is behind held there of all Donnish Forces. We're expecting a large counter attack so watch the roads for any Militia. Donnish Ground Forces out.
Heyo.
