Tsadokian Patriarchal Guard - Τσαδοκιανή Πατριαρχική Φρουρά

Views: The Tsadokian Patriarchial Guard, simply put, is an incredibly rowdy band of hooligans with ultra-nationalist, and ethno-centric views. The Tsadokian Patriarchial Guard holds to beliefs that Kastavania was once ruled by a so-called "golden-dynasty" of God-fearing, Tsadokian monarchs in the era of late-antiquity, and the early middle-ages. They believe in the idea of a "Greater Tsadokia," in which all the other opposing ethnicities, are pushed out of Kastvavania, and the Tsadokians are ruled under a religious theocracy, led by the Patriarch of the Tsadokian Church. The TPG's ethnic views are quite volatile, with very few exceptions:
I. The Araveans are seen as foreign parasites, and the TGF demands that they cross the border back to their "homeland", or risk consequences.
II. The hatred for the Koshatians runs deep in the TPG, as their differences in faith is the defining factor. The TPG sees Islam as a religion of the Devil, and all that believe in it should be converted, or killed.
III. The Latagalians are one of the most hated ethnic groups by the TPG, on the account of their "Idolatry." and pagan faith.
IV. The Nihonjin are the most accepted group by the TPG, as they are open to a Nihonjin state, existing north of Greater Tsadokia in the Minorian Mountains, and the Minor Belkan Lowlands, after the Tsadokians "march the Belkans into the sea. "
V. The Kastavanians are seen as the old foreign invaders of their "medieval Great Tsadokia," and the bringers of sin, and sodomy into the land. The Kastavanian Church is seen as "a temple of sin, and heresy which needs to be eradicated from our holy land."
VI. The Belkans are "Germanic scum of the earth." They're seen by the TPG to be stupid, uncultured, and "only worth shining a Tsadokian's shoes."

Ideologically speaking, the TPG mainly adheres to Dominion Theology, fierce Ethnic Nationalism (regionally), Anti-Communism, Jingoism, Pan-Hellenic Nationalism (internationally), Revanchism/Irredentism, Traditionalism, Paleo-conservatism, and a multitude of other lesser-known ideologies.

The Progressive Socialist Party of Kastavania (SPK)

Image

Summary: The singular rulng party of Kastavania for decades, the SPK has been clinging to power for as long as anybody can remember; only recently has the federal government capitulated to the demands of the people and brought the possibility of free, open federal elections to the table. This reform, however, has caused tension within the SPK itself; reformists and traditionalists within the party butt heads at every turn. This trend is most evident, however, in the dealings between the SPK's two primary figureheads; Artei Kovačs, the young, pro-market reformist SPK candidate for Kastavania's presidential election, and Čedomir Kosaijo, the party leader and staunch traditionalist.

Views: The SPK is currently experiencing a serious rift between ideologies, as members rally behind the party's two opposing strongmen. On Kovačs' side, members generally take a more centrist side, favoring liberal democracy and the promotion of greater freedom, both personal and economic. They are generally suspicious, though not outright hostile towards, nationalism on both an ethnic and pan-national level. (Relatively) liberal market reforms are high on their agenda, and their bolder members have expressed support for more radical social justice causes. On Kosaijo's side, members take a more doctrinaire authoritarian socialist standpoint, favoring a command-oriented economy with protectionist policies, heavy wealth redistribution, and support for worker-oriented institutions. On a social level, they take a conservative approach, favoring order and tradition in their policies. Those supporting Kovačs prefer to keep the nation united, though will (at first) try to avoid as much bloodshed as possible. Kosaijo's side, however, takes a far more nationalist stance, combining a xenophobic disdain for other ethnicities with a desire to retain the lands they claim--a volatile combination that resulted in ethnic tensions in the first place.

Support: As Kastavania's dominant political party, they hold 30 out of the 40 Kastavanian delegates, and enjoy broad political support amongst many ethnic Kastavanians. This support base, however, also contributes to tension within the SPK; younger, more urban reform-minded liberals (liberals in the everywhere-except-America sense) support Artei, while more rural, less educated, older citizens overwhelmingly favor Čedomir's end.

Characters:
Artei Kovačs - SPK candidate for the elections.
Čedomir Kosaijo - Party leader of the SPK and bitter rival of Artei's
Miroslav Devan - SPK general secretary. A reserved, rather shifty person, he tends to lend support to whomever he believes is most likely to succeed, currently Artei.
Novak Remosij - Assistant to and fierce advocate of Kovačs
Nikola Stojan - SPK Central Committee member and unofficial ideologue for Kosaijo's side.

ORBAT: See OP

Put at the very center of a large-scale hardcore MT RP involving some of the subject field's preeminent luminaries. No pressure.

Αγροτικός Αστέρας Άνω Ραχούλας - Agricultural Star of Upper Little Ridge: AS-ULR was founded from Tsadokian "refugees" from Tsadokia's eastern regions(who were colonized and occupied by Koshatians) back at 1932.

AS-ULR is a very popular team from the rural areas of Tsadokia but also is hated for the same reason as the hate between the Koshatians & the Tsadokians runs ever deeper; especially in the eastern regions. The mix of uneducated, deeply religious, border disputes on land puts even more fuel to the fire and that is were hatred comes from.

Despite being of the best Tsadokian teams, it is plagued with underfunding just like every other Tsadok team

CBK is known to fuel much rivalry especially around the Tsadokian capital region where many Koshatians reside on the suburbs hence supporters of the team.

CBK is well funded thnx to generous fellow muslim donations, it is consider as the best team in the Tsadokian region & the best Koshatian team in general.

The Koshatians team's story needs more editing and more background

Also, I'll try to get some stuff up this weekend, I'm just too busy. :(

Tsadokion is the name for natives. In English it is Tsadokia.

And no rush. I will start the thread on the weekend.

Howdy, all. I was invited by our good comrade Aeyariss to join on, so allow me to tell you a bit about the lovely folk I'll be roleplaying as to warm us up a bit.

The Latagalian Restorative Army: "Let no more the Hilends (Latagallian Highlands) or the Kolends (Belkan Lowlands) be tainted by Belkan blood, faith, or deciet. They are agents of our oppressors, and seek to have us eliminated.". - Eren Mour, the 'Prince of Latagal'.

The LRA is a group of militants loyal to the 'Prince of Latagal' Eren Mour. Latagal is defined as the area of land in between the Belkan Lowlands and the Latagallian Highlands, and it is claimed to have existed before the Zadimian Empire (though there is no historical confirmation of this, and its existence is thought to be no more than a Latagalian folktale). While Eren claims to be descended from an ancient King of Latagal, he has little to back up this claim.
He is believed by those loyal to him to be an incarnation of one of the four Latagalian deities, Hertef, the king of the gods, and his young daughter, Remnia, is thought to be the incarnation of the god of war, Hertef's son, Anti.

Their goals (tentative)
- Reclamation of holy sites in the Highlands and Lowlands from the Belkans and Araveans.
- Establishment of the Principality of Latagal.
- Total destruction of the Belkans, or at least their religious order.
- Removal of the Nihonjese from Istagalia.

This is all I've worked out on the fly, though they shall become more fleshed out as time goes on, of course.
