Woodhouse Memorial Hospital, Campbell City

"Sued?" The Captain repeated. "You mean like a lawsuit? I don't know that that'll work out…"

At that moment, several vehicles pulled in behind the crowd. The vehicles were all black, a mix of SUVs with dark tinted windows and windowless vans. Several men stepped out, dressed in black double-breasted jackets and with Campbell Nation flag armbands. The pure white caps and silver badges identified these men as belonging to the Commission for Continuity of State Security. The crowd took no notice of the men as they surveyed the scene.

The Captain pretended not to notice them and turned to Chris. "Listen, how about we focus on getting you and your staff treated for the radiation first." The Captain made a move to guide Chris and his staff towards the hospital building, where a team of doctors and nurses were lined up in lab coats and scrubs.

One of the men walked up behind the Captain and loitered. The Captain turned around instantly. The two exchanged words in a hushed tone such that Chris and the others could not hear, and then the two of them began walking towards the line of vehicles. The pair got into the back of one of the vans.

"Do you have a preference for which arm the IV goes in?" A young nurse asked Chris in a chipper tone.

Campbell Nation Friendship Embassy, Khronion

The order to increase security had come in within an hour of the disaster. Such orders were fairly common in response to issues that might possibly sometime in the future raise tensions, and so they were regarded with a casual air. Even the State Security liaison responsible for maintaining discipline concurred on this point. Therefore when the Ministry of Foriegn Affairs sent an encrypted communique asking for confirmation of the order's completion, there was some shock and confusion amid the staff.

Rather than risk the wrath of the capitol by admitting failure, the upper staff made the questionable decision to strategically ignore the communique until a rushed version of security protocols could be enacted and the orders could be reported as successful. Of course, the rushed nature of these measures meant that the increased alert was patently obvious to anyone who could put two and two together. Indeed, many individual pedestrians outside the complex noted the smoke rising from the chimneys and concluded that the embassy was burning its old documents. A great many hard drives were also smashed and tossed into the fire.

In many cases, the staff actually overcompensated, going further than the original orders mandated. In the borderline-hysterical frenzy to meet expired deadlines, many staff began operating on the assumption that the complex was about to be raided, and one aide (with no legal authority whatsoever) went so far as to put the limited security detail on a "code red DEFCON 1 nuclear combat alert." The State Security Liason responded by relieving said aide of his "command" and issuing a "time out" for the complex. After the Liason made the bold move of contacting Campbell city, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a clarification in unencrypted plain text that no hostile action was expected at this time and that all diplomatic staff were to continue with their normal duties. The message was repeated three times, so that there would be no miscommunication. Nonetheless, the damage had been done, and it was glaringly obvious that the diplomatic staff were paranoid, if not outright insane.

Chris asked for the IV on his left arm. And as he went inside the hospital, he had a million thoughts, including a song from The Hunchback of Notre Dame that Disney made.

"Hey sir. I just came to see how you are.' the Adviser said as he came in the room.

"Oh hi." Chris said in a low tone.

"So. What the doctors say?" the Adviser asked.

"The radiation seems to have lowered, but want to watch me in case of acute radiation sickness." Chris replied.

"Seems like the NSA in disguise." the Adviser joked.

"Ha ha ha..." Chris laughed sarcastically.

"The reactor in Khorin is being attacked by its own citizens." The adviser informed Chris.

"Another thing I feared. Other countries being involved just for helping us out of this mess. I still got anger at the WASP group."

"Campbell is looking in to it. But I saw the smoke, apparently they're resisting to admit failure so they're burning documents."

"What do you expect from WZAS?" Chris said.

"Well, it's time for me to check with the government building. See you, sir." Said the Adviser as he saluted. "May you die, I will not forget your doing with Armedegon."

Time passed after that. Chris had started to say things out loud.

"Tell me, Jesus. Why do I see them dancing, why do I see them happy? I fear them, I saw them. The darkness in their raging hearts, is showing it's multi-armed form. Oh Jesus, make them taste the fires of hell, for their crimes of Warzone Europe! Destroy them, for endangering innocent, including me! You know I am a righteous man, the common weakling has lots of corruption! I-"

The door had opened.

"Chris Fujino, we have to do surgery tomorrow of your skin."

"What?" He replied, confused.

"Your skin is showing burnt marks from the radiation." The doctor said.

"Oh. Well fine, I'll just wait here." Chris replied. "Now please leave me be..."

The door closed, leaving Chris again alone.

"I see, that Warzone Asia... Will be engaged in war with Warzone Europe, not only from this, but for the Unification of the Warzones!" he yelled.

"War is the only path we'll take!!!!!!!!" He yelled again. Ending his talking.

Executive Tower, Campbell City

The surgeon breathed in the crisp air of the plaza as he stepped out of his government-chartered taxi. He could hear the loudspeakers playing Christmas music, and vaguely remembered reading something in Warzone Asia People's Daily about the Ministry of Information waging a pro-Christmas offensive against capitalist press censors. A little ways down the plaza was a group of Young Pioneers singing along and handing out Wassail- non alcoholic, of course. If he had actually been on break, as his staff had been told, he would not hesitate to grab a mug. But of course, he was on duty.

The Surgeon stepped towards the entrance of the Executive Tower. He had been rushed to the heart of the capitol to give an update on Armedegon's head of state. Even with the taxi, which presumably had been given traffic priority, he had still arrived several minutes late. He showed his ID to the first guard, who waved him over to another guard in a State Security uniform. The guard escorted him, somewhat forcefully, through the several levels of security for visitors and tourists. The surgeon was taken to a conference room, where several figures in uniforms and suits were already arguing.

The surgeon listened for several awkward moments as the military and diplomatic situations were discussed. It was clear that this was being treated as progressively less of a humanitarian crisis and more as a future military standoff. Eventually, a minister of some sort turned to the surgeon, and asked for his report.

"Mr. Fujuino remains in unstable condition. We managed to intervene fast enough to avoid serious radiation poisoning directly, but his system is still reeling. He will require supportive therapy and further surveilance for some time, although this isn't necessarily something that couldn't be done in a home environment…"

The State Security advisor looked at the surgeon as if she already knew all this. "What about his psychological condition?"

"Our team has reached mixed conclusions. All of the doctors report him being present and coherent, at least as much as anyone who went through such trauma." The Surgeon paused, considering his words carefully. "Some of our nurses, however, report the patient having occasional outbursts." He began to wonder why he was saying this. He was confident that some department in this room had already installed surveilance equipment in the leader's room.

"So, in your professional opinion," Began the State Security advisor. "Is this man fit to command?"

"I do not know." The surgeon replied. "I suspect the extra stress would be a bad influence."

The advisor nodded. "Thank you doctor. You may return to your work."

"Do you people not know this will cause Warzone to collapse? The Unity idea will not get passed, because of WASP sabotaging! Haven't you heard of the C4 piece we found in Armedegon!? Plus, not all Warzone's think Unification is a good thing!" Chris Fujino yelled, having more of his outbursts.

The doctors had closed the door so he doesn't disturb the others, but people could still hear him, just murmuring through the walls. One even yelling and banging on the wall to shut up Chris.

"Sir, the Campbell Nation is having a meeting with WASP about possible sabotage, do you wanna go there?" the Doctor had asked..

"Yes. And please leave me in this hospital bed, or at least make it moveable."

Outside the Hospital, Campbell City

It took roughly an hour to get Chris mobile. Several of the doctors made a big show about advising against his leaving the facility. One of the advisors responded with some note about them not having legal authority to keep them here. This was not strictly true, but the doctor's didn't stop them. The task of moving Chris was accomplished by loading Chris into a critical care ambulance. Four army motorcycles had been dispatched to provide security. Each of the riders was in dress uniform and equipped with an automatic rifle.

As they began to pull away from the curb, one of the ambulance drivers checked his watch. After several seconds, he checked his watch again and, after abreif pause, turned on the radio.

"… for a quick local news update. The Warzone Asia Socialist Pact Friendship and Cooperation Summit opened today in Campbell city, bringing delegates from across the region. On this occasion Chancellor Campbell made a brief speech from the Executive Tower wishing peace and goodwill to all the delegates. As a result of increased security from the summit, road traffic in Campbell City has slowed considerably. The Ministry of Transportation has…"

The driver switched the radio back off, and sighed. Up ahead, traffic was indeed moving slowly. The drivers both leaned back and settled into their seats. The army motorcyclists shrugged, as if there were nothing that could be done.

"Too bad we'll miss the parade." Sighed one soldier to the others

Guy Debord Parade Ground, Campbell City

Although the parade was relatively short by Campbell Nation standards, having troops from every WASP nation was already taking too long for some of the diplomats who had come to discuss politics rather than see demonstrations of military force. By the time they had moved from infantry to tanks, several diplomats were already beginning to find Chancellor Campbell in the stands and ask about the certain topics.

"Do we know what will become of Armedegon?" Asked one nervously. "Our intelligence has passed along rumors about WASP sabotage."

"Rumors don't work in western justice systems." The state security advisor would counsel. "Besides, your nation didn't hear these rumors until we did- after the fact."

"And what about the Warzone Asia Security Directorate?" Chimed in another visitor, his hushed voice barely audible over the drumbeats and marching footsteps.

"We have been in contact with our comrades in the Forbidden City." Chancellor Campbell would answer. "They are shocked at this tragedy, and are prepared to contribute to the ongoing investigation- which, need I remind you, is currently being funded largely through WASP members -however possible."

Chris Fujino has been asleep in the Ambulance to pass time and because he deserved it after Armedegon. He is having weird dreams about all the Warzone's in a war about Unification, with one side for it, and another against it. With no one winning, and the region becomes a wasteland.

"No. I was against Unity, and yet we fought over it. I said no, and they ignored me as a plaything." Chris was saying as he was asleep.

"The man's dreaming about the Warzone Unity plan." one of the drivers said.

"Great. The man's against this Unity plan the Warzone's are going for, except maybe Asia and Africa." the passenger said.

"How can you blame him? He's suffered radiation sickness, and besides that, there's people rioting in Asia over not choosing to participate in Unity." the driver responded to the passenger.

"Warzone's no more. Leaving the USSD to take control of..." Chris said in his sleep.

"Ok, the radiation's going to his head. The USSD doesn't have the balls, and they had a treaty with the Warzones. Doubt they'd break the treaty." the driver told the passenger.

The traffic had picked up, allowing the Ambulance to head to the building for the meeting, with WASP leaders in the meeting.

WASP Friendship and Cooperation Summit, Campbell City

Through some odd quirk of bureaucratic oversight, the security services tasked with protecting the conference had not been informed that the Armedegon delegation would be arriving via ambulance. Therefore when two plainclothes officers noticed the large vehicle loitering near the delegate's entrance with no clear purpose, they were suspicious. The motorcycles dispatched to escort the head of state had already disappeared. Had the officers been wearing uniforms with comms equipment, they could have simply reported the situation and received instructions. Instead, the two burly men decided to walk up and bang on the door of the ambulance.

"Open up." One of the men demanded. "State security."

The drivers were too startled to move. Chris, in his daze, muttered something less than complimentary about WASP. The two officers, hearing this response from inside the unknown vehicle, decided that this was clearly a terrorist plot. One tore open the back door to the vehicle while the other drew and aimed his sidearm. It took a moment to notice the Chris on the gurney, and the two drivers, both wearing Ministry of Health uniforms. The officer did not lower his weapon.

"What's going on here?" The officer demanded.

Inside the Summit

Chancellor Campbell suppressed a yawn. The discussions over what should be done in regards to the deteriorating situation in WZEU had dragged on for far longer than expected. Most agreed that solidarity and relief efforts were a solid political move, and all agreed that intelligence gathering and propaganda efforts were necessary. Of course, a few believed that this was not enough. A rather vocal minority, including a small number of guests from inside the federation called for a partial mobilization of reservists in member states bordering the capitalist bloc. No one would admit that all of the nations represented had already ordered alerts.

"Already the capitalist war machine is preparing its first blow!" Shouted the delegate on the floor. "We must prepare our collective defence forces to resist any attempt to exploit recent circumstances."

At this point, there was a round of applause. Reporters from various news sources snapped pictures. The Chancellor glanced at his watch, wondering whether or not the delegation from Armedegon would show up as had been suggested. It hardly mattered at this point. The public conference was largely a formality. All the points being made at this conference had been discussed and approved well in advance.

Chris has waken up to the door violently opening. He looked up and saw the guards, with one of them drawing his sidearm out.

"Are you planning to kill me after this? Didn't you get the message I was coming here?" Chris had asked the guard.

"We didn't get any information about the head of Armedegon coming to this meeting." the guard responded to Chris.

"Seems you guys slack more then Armedegon with the rare political freedom." Chris said in a negative comment. He was then moved into the building for the meeting.

"Sir, we have to get you out of here," a black-clad bodyguard told K'ha Thon. "There's no more time."

Outside of the bunker, the dull roar of uncontrollable riots bordering on violence could be heard, even through the nuclear-grade blast doors. How had it come to this? Blasted communist agitators. I should have purged them long ago before this happened.

They to the helipad, and got in. "Will we be safe, leaving like this?" K'ha Thon asked.

"We don't have a choice. All the vehicle exits have been barricaded already," his bodyguard said. "Pilot, take us away."

The pilot nodded. "Perimeter control, this is Dominion One, on immediate evacuation. Stand down perimeter guns until we've cleared the area."

"Copy that, Dominion One. Godspeed."

The helicopter rose up and away. K'ha Thon gasped as he looked at the once peaceful city of Titanium Port. Fires were burning across the city, denoting the location of various government offices. The once proud capital residence was swarming with rioters and looters. On the southern side of the city, armed convoys were conducting a retreat out of the city towards the countryside.

As the helicopter landed in a secured zone several hundred kilometers away, K'ha Thon summoned his chief of staff. "This is war. Declare a nationwide state of emergency. I want the military immediately mobilized. All missile bases should be on 5-minute ready status."

Chris was at the meeting, trying to prove WASP did sabotage of the reactor.

"Haven't you heard of the recovering of the C4 piece at the reactor? The witnesses?" Chris yelled at the meeting.

"What witnesses?" One of the ministers responded to Chris

"Weren't my advisers giving a testimony in this meeting?" Chris asked, confused about that.

"No,they were sent to WASP countries, mostly the WASP prison camps for hospitality." the hospital minister responded to Chris.

"You call that hospitality? That's just jail under a different name! And it's a cover up if you sent them to WASP-"

"Minister sir, Khorin has activated their missile systems, and are turning into war state status!" One of Campbell Nation's advisers warned the leader.

Missile Base Zeta
Location Unknown

Though Missile Base Zeta's exact location isn't known, passing aircraft know they've entered its proximity when they hear the following broadcast: "Khronion Military Command to all aircraft. Non-designated aircraft into our airspace will be designated as hostile military targets. All flights in and out of Khronion airspace are restricted to designated flight corridors, and require prior clearance."

There is a sense of electricity in the air as military personnel run about the base, bringing it up to DEFCON 4 operational status. Airstrips that once saw only three flights a day now see three flights depart and land every hour, and the anti-aircraft guns that line the perimeter have been activated. Fighter jets continuously maintain air superiority patrols around the base.

The nukes remain safely stored away, but technicians are busy running tests and preparing silos for operational status. Base Zeta hosts a wide variety of armaments, ranging from conventional missiles to massive nuclear payloads, all capable of firing on a 5 minute notice. But the military leadership is wary of bringing nukes online. The memories of the great wars that raved the globe not more than five decades ago are still fresh in humanity's mind.

"OH GOD FUCKING DAMN IT! THIS IS A ACCIDENT, NOT A FUCKING WAR THAT WASP STARTED!" Chris yelled out of his lungs out of anger of Khorin reacting in a way that basically says "I'm going to war, screw you guys." at least, in his view. He was then carried out to be taken back to the hospital because of fear the radiation was affecting him again.

"THIS ISN'T A DECLARATION OF WAR! THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM WASP! IT'S TIME FOR WASP TO TASTE THE FIRES OF HELL, NOT THE SLAUGHTERING FROM NATIONS!" Chris yelled as the door closed after he was taken out.

"Sounds like a coup d'etat happening over there." a minister said to the leader of Campbell.

"They have no authorization of activating missiles. They're probably thinking about activating nukes in case." Another staff person said.

"It's just a defense measure! It's only just in case!" another said. The meeting turned into a debate, almost like if a game was released with all the stuff feminists and soccer moms would be offended by.

Executive Tower, Campbell City

Chancellor Campbell attempted to clear his mind of frustration as he was led down the corridors into the conference room where the rest of Executive Command was waiting. The WASP summit had ended abruptly. Within a space of ten minutes, all the diplomats had received word of the Khronion military maneuvers, and had received their instructions. Most diplomats were being recalled. A few had been instructed to tag along and take shelter with the federation government. At the door to the conference room, two generals stood at attention.

"Lovely day for a war, sir." One of the generals joked. The Chancellor smiled politely and ignored the comment. The briefing began as soon as he entered the room and the doors were shut.

"The People's Defence Forces are on advanced alert as of now, but in light of recent satellite imagery from Khronion, it would be advisable to move our rapid-deployment forces to a combat alert status."

Several large, low resolution photos were passed around showing vaguely triangular silhouettes against pavement. Each silhouette was circled in yellow and labeled with best guesses at the type of aircraft, range, and payload. A few service trucks were also circled, labeled "fuel" "crew" or "armaments". There was at least one notation saying "Nuclear?" With the question mark underlined.

A military intelligence officer broke the silence. "At this time MILINTEL has counted twelve individual targets with first-strike capability against our assets, not including any submarines or mobile launchers they may have deployed. Given this I also concur that a combat alert coupled with increased airborne rotation for our bomber forces is the correct thing to do."

Border Control Station H-26, Southeastern Border Command

Private Reynolds appreciated being allowed to sleep in, he really did. But at the same time, the sudden change made him nervous. When he did get up, only an hour later than normal, and shuffled towards the small kitchen that passed as a mess hall, the first thing he noticed was the music on the radio. It was not news broadcasts or Christmas songs, but army songs. Songs yelling about the capitalist deception and secret deployments and praising the comrade-soldier for bravely defending the fatherland.

He shuffled over to the table where two of his comrades were talking in hushed tones. These men were veterans, and would normally shoo him away, but didn't, even when he sat down opposite him. This heightened his suspicions. He decided he would have to figure out for sure.

"We're going on alert, aren't we?" Reynolds demanded.

One of the two veterans smiled and leaned forward. "Well lookit that. They are fast learners. Maybe all that stuff about our glorious socialist education system isn't all hogwash."

"Nah, it's hogwash." Chimed in the other, attempting to smile. "They just teach them the test answers ahead of time and then extrapolate."

"Did you hear something from the brass?" Reynolds asked, trying to clarify.

"Meh, they wouldn't tell us anything. Just listen to that radio." Intoned the first soldier. "Hear how that song's talking about 'annihilating fascist bandit armies'? Now who do you think gets stuck with that job?"

"So we are on alert then?"

"Well I don't know about you comm-rayde, but I certainly am."

Private Reynolds paused, gathering his thoughts. "Do you think there'll be a war? Like, with nukes?"

The veterans only shrugged.

Titanium Port, Diplomatic Sector

Though arguably being "escorted for safety" from the country, it was patently obvious to everyone that the armed convoy surrounding the Campbell Nation's diplomatic mission was ensuring their swift ejection. Despite the staff's protests, the military had asserted that Khronion airspace was closed, and that their only option to leave would be by land under armed escort to the border.

To be fair, an armed escort might have been warranted. In the anarchy that followed the hasty evacuation of all non-military government personnel from the city, several rival factions had begun vying for power. Although inter-faction violence was largely minimal, civil unrest was at an all-time high, and several military personnel had been killed by mobs of anti-government protesters.

ORACLE Operations Center

Analyst Zhang stood up in front of the assembled military chiefs of staff. "In the last 24 hours, doppler radar has detected increased activity in WASP airspace, likely in response to General Willington's decision to activate the missile silo network." A map was projected onto the screen. "While this has allowed us to bring our strike capability up to 85%, compared to 10% before activation, there have been serious diplomatic repercussions."

General Willington snorted loudly. "Cut the bullshit. They're gonna get what's coming to us. Eastern Khronion is blanketed in fallout. If we don't move fast, there won't be a Khronion left." He glared at Analyst Zhang. "Do you really think a diplomatic solution will pull us through in the face of communist expansionism? We've already lost Titanium Port, and it's hundreds of miles from the eastern border. What's next? New Rouen? Calais?"

K'ha Thon rolled his eyes. General Willington was likely going to be the first one on the chopping block, if he had to fire any of his chiefs of staff. The unilateral decision to mobilize all missile bases, though technically legal, was likely a misstep. K'ha Thon imagined the 19th century nuclear clock, moving 15 minutes closer to Armageddon.

"ORACLE suggests that we haven't yet hit the point of no return. However, at this point, we can't afford to stand down any of our activated military assets," Zhang continued, pointedly ignoring the General's comments. "Our intelligence networks across Warzone Asia have been largely silent for the last few days, likely to avoid detection in the face of increased scrutiny by WASP counter-intelligence. We don't know what they might do next."

Admiral Khan leaned back. "So far, our naval territory are secure. We've quietly activated some of our Baltic fleet assets, and our submarines remain on their standard operating protocols. I'm still not convinced that WASP is willing to allow this situation to continue to escalate though. It seems to me that nuclear war is a strategic misstep that would compromise the protection they offer to their member states."

Analyst Zhang nodded. "That has been our current assumption as well. But without more information on the current sociopolitical climate among Warzone Asia nations, it's hard to make any solid pronouncements on their next steps."

K'ha Thon stood up. "Very well. Since we're already committed to partial escalation, we've already lost the chance to resolve this though early diplomatic entente. We'll maintain current mobilization levels, but no one is to further activate assets without my express permission." He dismissed the meeting, and walked down the hall, where his aides caught up with him. "I need a diplomatic line opened up to the Campbell Nation immediately. We can't let this situation go further out of control."

Unknown to everyone, a new group was still in the highly radiated Armedegon country, presumed to be completely abandoned.

"sir, it appears WASP has increased due to Khronion's air increase." A soldier said to a random figure.

"Predictable. Something like that says that they're entering a war state status. Part Two of the plan will be to act as survivors of the reactor and
blame WASP for this. With the advisers and the "survivors" of North Plant, they'll disband WASP, and with the Warzone Unity plan happening, there will be war, and then N.A.O becomes the New Warzone Order." the person replied to the soldier.

"Now, what will rise up after the war?" the figure asked the soldier.

"New Armedegon Order sir!" the person replied, with a salute to the person, then he walked away.

"First, Russia. Now Armedegon." the leader said. Sir Vangl Dohman.

1100 Hours Rawlincian Standard Time
Harper Joint Forces Base, Valora, Rawlincia.
______________________________________________________________

General James Houghton, the commander in chief of the Army division at Harper JFB is in the base's operations center, looking at the wall of around 30 different screens, showing different programs, from National News to Top Secret satellite feeds. Suddenly the lights in the normally dim room start blinking green and an alarm goes off.

"I didn't order an alarm test today, perhaps it's a random test by the President to check our readiness," the General thinks to himself but it wasn't.

"R.E. Detected, R.E. Detected," a computerized voice says, R.E. stands for Radiation Emergency.

"Sir, one of our satellites has detected a high radiation readings and an explosion, zooming in now! Location is, uhh, Armedegon. " shouts one of the Technical Officers.

The Base's M-400 Super computer scans TV channels, Social media, and online News for "keywords" such as Radiation, Nuclear, Power, Catastrophe, and others. Switching some of the monitors to news channels and websites containing those keywords and displays this message in text and in audio on one of the main monitors.
This is the Wartime Broadcasting Network. All stations shall transmit this official message. The following message is broadcast at the request of the National Civil Denfence Administration.

An explosion in a nuclear power plant in Armedegon has created a catastrophic meltdown. Large amounts of radioactive debris have spread into the atmosphere as a result, and radioactive fallout is expected across Warzone Europe and Warzone Asia in the next few hours.

Fallout models from the National Civil Defence Administration suggest that the federation will remain largely unaffected. At this time however the government recommends that particularly vulnerable citizens, including young children and expectant mothers stay indoors where possible.

The federation government is working to coordinate the delivery of critical commodities and essential services. Expect more information shortly. Critical infrastructure is expected to remain working, but service may be disrupted.

This message will be repeated now, and again in ten minutes time with any new information. Turn off your radio until then to conserve power.

The General sends the following message to the involved government. He also notifies the 1st CBRN Battalion, which is based at Harper JFB as well.
"I am requesting 2 things, your current radiation predictions so we can forward it to Rawlincia's Flameheart Supercomputer for more complex and realtime predictions. Also, we request permission to send over the following, the First CBRN Batallion on 4 C-53 Transports, the NR-53R GHOSTBULLET AND NR-53S SPIRITANGEL Nuclear power aircraft to provide power for rescue operations and firefighting, and the required 2 Fighter escorts for the Ghostbullet and Spiritangel."

OOC: New Warzone Order has changed to the Revolutionist Warzone Party to avoid controversy about the Pacific.

IC:
word has gotten out that survivors from the North Plant have gone to Khronin for help.

"What did you see when you escaped from Armedegon?" a soldier asked the "survivors"

"We saw some troops coming out of the reactor, with some words saying WASP, or some stuff like that" said Vangl Dohman, trying to make part two of his plan to work so WASP is disbanded.

"So did we, they had guns and everything." the other "survivors" said, to support Vangl's claim.

"If the staff and Chris said it was WASP, and if you all say it's WASP, then they might have no chance of denying it was them" the soldier responded to the "survivors".

After the soldier left to tell the men in charge of Khronin about what the survivors said, Vangl and his men had talked about the plan.

"What happens if this doesn't work?" a person had asked Vangl.

"If it doesn't, then we'll do it with our hands getting dirty, and pin it on themselves." Vangl responded.

"If we're caught?" Another person asked

"Then we'll die with honor, trying to kill the WASP team." Vangl said to the person.

Wartime Broadcasting Network - Border Provinces

This is the Wartime Broadcasting Network. All stations shall transmit this official message. The following message is broadcast at the request of the Commission for Continuity of State Security and is directed to all provinces south of the M4 Motorway.

In order to safeguard against terrorist subversion in the wake of recent events, and ensure that adequate resources can be provided for incoming refugees, a temporary curfew is being initiated in select provinces. All citizens south of the M4 Motorway are advised to stay indoors between the hours of 10PM and 6AM Campbell City Standard Time. Due to ongoing government efforts, certain travel routes, including railways and essential motor routes may be restricted to government use during this time. Citizens performing essential services will be permitted to continue normal activities.

Due to the strain placed on vital infrastructure, the Ministry of Health has asked that any citizens concerned about symptoms of radiation poisoning from the recent radiological disaster refrain from presenting at local hospitals, but instead stay at home, and contact health officials via phone.

This message will be repeated now, and again in ten minutes time with any new information. Turn off your radio until then to conserve power.

Commission for Continuity of State Security HQ, Campbell City

The Captain was exhausted. He had spent the several days since returning from the reactor site nominally recovering, but actually being questioned about every single detail of the trip. Although he hadn't officially been released from "protective custody", he had gotten his uniform back and was allowed to make runs from the barracks to the mess hall unsupervised.

The Captain poured the black coffee into a plain red mug, and turned to take a seat at an empty table. Across the hall he saw two other officers - one attached to counterterrorism and one to criminal justice - seated at a table and reviewing several hard-copy documents. They too looked tired. The Captain attempted to listen in.

"What, do they expect us to hold them here forever?" The counterterrorism officer exclaimed somewhat loudly.

"They have not committed a crime." Counseled the other officer. "They have sympathies, perhaps. But nothing to execute someone for."

"Are you quite sure comrade?" The counterterrorism officer intoned, raising an eyebrow. "The fact of the matter is, guilty or not, these people are the most likely to be spies or sabatours. Since Khronion has already ejected our ambassadors it is clear that they are posturing for war."

"I will say again," Stated the Criminal Justice officer, "merely having capitalist money is not grounds for execution."

"Perhaps not." The first officer relented. "Though it may indicate an intention to desert. It is clear that these people cannot be permitted to roam free. And now that we've brought them in…"

"Yes, yes." The second officer. "Very well. What shall it be? Internment? Reeducation?" The Criminal Justice officer paused, thinking deeply. "Conscript labor to the underdeveloped areas, perhaps?

"Yes, quite good." The counterterrorism officer nodded, truly not bothered with the details.

The Captain sipped his coffee slowly. The knot in his stomach which had appeared when Chris mentioned seeing WASP soldiers at the reactor tightened once again. He understood the logic of everything that was being done, but somewhere in his mind he wondered whether these measures were truly necessary for the advancement of socialism.

Vangl and his men have been taken to Khronin, to be taken care of.

"These fools are being persuaded by us! It might even be so fast that we go to war." Vangl said victoriously.

"But we're not done yet. We gotta wait for the big war stuff, with the airplanes, navy, tanks, soldiers." a person said to Vangl

"Just one thing left to do. We tell em we also remember WASP agents carrying out a massacre of a city in Armedegon. Mostly the city that's with City Hall."

"You mean Nuklim?" A person asked Vangl.

"Yes, you idiot. What, is it actually North Armedegon?" Vangl asked.

"No sir." the person responded.
