"Perfect!"

"Hmm... it seems that the CSU is pushing through to the south. More Hastiakans are coming via boat, but suffered heavy losses against the CSU. That must weaken the CSU on shore now, would it? Get my adviser."
The conscript bows, and runs towards Latus's adviser.
Soon the adviser comes, "Yes?"
"What should we do?"
"Well, push the CSU back. It seems to be the only way."
"Yes, sir. But what troops?"
"Well, launch 'Operation: Arrowchest', if that doesn't work, we'll greatly deprive them of troops. After all, you can only have so much."
"Ah, yes. But how much troops?"
"The other aristocrats seem to be in defense, so we'll ask them to defend. Send three quarters of our army. Along with Hastiaka, we are pretty powerful."

We don't want to risk our lives. If our troops make it to defending, hopefully they could damage the Monster at least a bit. We still have tanks, and artillery. Armored cars also might help."

The messenger reported. "Very well. Send 2 armies to South Rannoria by sea and land. 80,000 troops is what we can spare." He sighed

Soon bombs started dropping in various enemy concentrations and tech buildings. The Rannorians were weakened after this. But more explosives were to come...

"Prepare the AA guns!" Latus says.
The AA guns load up, shooting the planes down. Soon, most of them were injured, the rest to not be seen.
"Argh! Get our pla-" Latus is interrupted.
"Excuse me. Sorry. Gernus Greval, captain. They have AA guns."
"Shoot! What could we do?"
"Umm... we cou-"
"SIR!"
"What? Gernus, please leave."
Gernus bows then leaves.
"What is it?"
"The Nightraiders are here."
Latus eyes widened.
A few men came into the room, gas masks, pistols, guns, explosives, a lot of stuff.

"Don't worry, we're with the south. We won't even let you pay."
"Really?"
"Nah, but way smaller than the usual. Those damn riverboys upstairs really think we did it huh?"
"Hmm, yeah. So, let's sort out the price later. Info please."

"Yeah, nice to meet you Carstonsen."
Carstonsen, the captain, smirks.
"You've still got that flair."
"Yeah. So-"
"CSU attacking, pretty powerful force. Even heard that they are about to take down 80,000 Hastiakans. Not sure if that's true or not. Anyway, what's the job."
Latus leans in, "You guys are the best mercs around. That monster tank will have hell assuming you don't die."
"Hmm. Tough job... I like tough jobs. We're in."
"Really?"
"Yup." Carstonsen turns to his men, "leggo guys."
Latus pays them, and they join the army sent to aid against the CSU. The CSU will have hell, and hell will be served on a plate warm.
Latus calls one of his workers, "Sir!"
"Yes?"
"Rebuild."
"Sure. It's my job." Then he smiles and leaves.
Soon, Latus goes to his right hand man.
"Prepare the backup," Latus says, "and ask other aristos to help us."
His right hand man nods, then leaves.

The Hastiakan Army

The submarines indeed sank a dozen ships. But that was just miniscule. Anti submarine torpedoes were launched. Therefire trapping the CSU sub-fleet. The fleet then bypassed danger zones anf successfully landed in the beaches of the south.

There, Hastiakan troops began to muster southern recruits for war.

After declared the order of supporting the southerners, more than 10,000 soldiers of the Portubrazillian Royal Army, entered the huge transport ships and were to Rannoria, as a form of support to the monarchists. They came out 20:45 PM and arrived 9 hours later.

3st Portubrazillian Expeditionary Battalion

The battalion just landed on one of the beaches of the south, with a dense forest to the north, the leader decides that the regiment must march to get to a nearby city.

" Hey, Sergeant! " Spoke the Lieutenant Josué, that was more the front.
" Yes, Lieutenant? " He said to the Sergeant, who introduced himself as Rodrigo.
" I want you to send 35 men to that forest, I want to see if there is enemy presence in the local, to lead them. "
" Ok, Lieutenant. "

As was asked, the Sergeant Rodrigo more than 35 men have been checking if there is enemy presence on site.

All of taking a simple rifle with a pistol, all with ammunition, and walked cautiously over 2 hours for the whole forest, there was nothing, only a cabin, old wood, who called the attention of one of the soldiers.

" Come and see this shed! " He spoke.
The group broke open the ancient door and entered the place and found something very strange: the hut there was no property, just a shelf full of food and water, many were surprised, others thought they were an enemy base, and thus they were arguing.

A soldier picked up a can, saw that he was tied in a line, got off.

A few days later...
Industries boomed, people were boosted in morale.
Training went better, planes, vehicles and more being built, more people joined the army.
Any person of the age of 18 and above and was single joined the army. Any elderly or younger stayed home.
Those who were married could choose a position, but it it must benefit the south.
North Rannoria - Heden
"Men of the north! I, Over Sperus, take charge of this glorious nation!'

"And we shall defeat the bloody mountainers, and the north shall be supreme!"

A few days later...
Industries were spewing out the largest amount of smoke ever in the north, people boosted with patriotism.
Training was fine, as this army was new, but the masses were more compared to the south, just less experience. Mechanized forces being built and sent to defend near the south.
Everyone (except women, elderly, and children) at age 18 or over must join the army to fight.

After the declaration of support to the south, more than 12,000 soldiers of the 1st and 2nd Italian Expedencionary Force boarded 5 ships of transport in the direction of the Rannoria, in a journey of 15 hours.

The battalion landed and came to a secluded beach, seemingly far away from a big city, the troops settled there, now waiting for orders.

Is was after a couple of days Congress decided to side with no side actually. They decided to be mercenaries,start off with a small amount of forces,increase as it gets more profitable.If it becomes more costly pulling out will be the option.
