Our top story this evening is the incident going down in the Philippine islands,a so called terror group known as the Iron Brotherhood has surfaced here in Eastern Europe and parts of Asia.One of the Brotherhood's major cells has arisen in the Philippine Islands.The leader of this cell known only as "Red Scorpion" has announced the Brotherhood will be leading a group of Communist revolutionaries in a Socialist rebellion within the islands.Local Militia and police forces within the Philippines have attempted to quell these rebels.
Public demonstrations began two days again which were met with tear gas and rubber bullets.Dozens of arrests were made,however this morning just the rebellion became official when Brotherhood operatives attacked and looted a weapons depot and destroyed a key power station near Saint Augustin leaving much of that area without power.Riots are beginning to break out and already three large towns are in total chaos.
Just an hour ago Prime Minister of Atzera Davor Klimov had this to say."

Davor Klimov appeared on screen with two black clad Gestapo at his sides at a podium in the Etheral press room in Kuasta.
"The Iron Brotherhood represents a planned economy and united work effort and togetherness.They wish to push away the Imperialism of Capitalism and embrace a planned and unified economy.Look at Atzera.We are a proud Communist nation,an empire in the making,our economy is worth over ten trillion Euros.Crime is practically unknown,the people here are happy,our armies are strong.We are a superior nation.And that is why we will help the people and The Brotherhood in the Philippines,supplies will be sent there and our mighty navy will enforce the seas,discouraging foreigners to quell the rebels.While we keep the Philippines isolated Red Scorpion will lead the people to success and victory over the Capitalist pigs."
Reporters could be heard firing away questions.
Nikita continued,"Even now Atzeran supply ships followed by the grand Atzeram navy led by Admiral Kola Petrenko are inbound for the Philippines."

15 HOURS AFTER THE UPRISING
The Atzeran Navy sat off the coast,about a mile off the shore of the island of Samar,the HQ of the Iron Brotherhood here in the Philippines.The ships were all spread out along the eastern shore,with the gunboats and combat speeders patrolling the perimeter.
Helicopters and small lifeboats were coming and going at a steady and continuous pace from the five frigates.They were carrying weapons,ammo,rations,gear,and generic jungle green uniforms for the rebels to wear.
The rebels had set up their HQ at airfield in the central area of the island.and were preparing to launch a full assault on Mindanao in a few hours.The sun burned down from the sky,making the ships and sea shine brightly.
Admiral Kola Petrenko stood at the observation deck,along with his first mate,watching the transportation of the supplies to the rebels.
In no time at all,the Philippines would fall.
Minister Klimov was right.The nations of the world are to fearful of us to interfere.And rightfully so.Petrenko thought with a smile as he continued to watch the choppers and boats going to and fro from the rebels on shore.

Several hours later,four transport planes flew over the airfield at low altitude after having radioed in to the Brotherhood to insure their friendly.
They para dropped dozens of crates and drums down to the rebel forces before retuning to base.

The Filipino cities of Lucena,Boac,and San Pueblo are up in flames as The Brotherhood's influence has reached the city."
Burning buildings could be seen,gunshots,explosions and screams heard over the mic.Dead bodies and wrecked vehicles filled the streets.Rioters in red bandanas could be seen throwing Molotov's and rocks at police forces who were responding with tear gas canisters and gunfire.Killing those who werent affected by the tear gas and restraining those who were.

"Also a brutal attack by rebel forces was launched on the coastal city of Butuan,rebel forces used fishing boats to land on the harbors and beaches.They were heavily armed and wiped out the majority of the police and militia forces.They're in the process of rounding up citizens for reeducation and have herded them into the town square.They also executed the city mayor by burning him in a cage in front of the city hall."

The Submarine Squadron was among the most feared naval combatant units of the United Federation Navy, striking from beneath the water and well below the thermocline. It was armed with 20 VLS cells, filled with one of the most feared cruise missile systems in the world: the Lyran Hellion-II cruise missile.

Below the disputed waters of the West Philippine Sea the 15th Submarine Squadron stalked, its characteristic hull cutting through the waves. The figure was as smooth as a lady's love handles; it was designed to be as hydrodynamically smooth as possible, with the VLS cells and torpedo tube doors being well-hidden from even the naked eye.

However it was not just its armament that made it a beast to fear. It also had measures to lower its acoustic signature, like decouple the machinery from the hull, the use of pump-jet propulsors, anechoic tiles, and active noise cancelling. The result was a submarine so silent it had to actually emit sound to prevent being a hole in the water, and this was accomplished with the use of sound tapes, which not only did active voice cancelling, but also emitted sound that was highly similar to the ambient noise around the submarine.

"BPPF Sapphire to SSQ 15 Actual, ready to surface for SIGINT ops." the captain of the BPPF Sapphire radioed. They would begin to break their cover, from underneath the thermocline to the surface, just enough to get a photonic mast up from the water at a decent level. "SSQ 15 Actual to BPPF Sapphire, you have the go. Photonic mast surfacing underway. Photonic mast at optimal surfacing for SIGINT ops. Begin ops."

SIGINT ops were under way. The group had enough photonic masts to cover the entire West Philippine Sea's span, and enemy communications would be decrypted and listened to, without the enemy knowing that they are being eavesdropped on. This was the same thing happening to all the other sides of the Philippines-to the north, to the west, to the east, and to the south. The Philippine government gave them a go. His first mate approached him.
"Sir,the attacks in the Southern Philippines are going successfully and another nation has begun aiding in supplement of rebel forces on Samar."
Petrenko responded,"Excellent,inform Yoaka Zhu and Red Scorpion their final wave of supplies is about to be flown out to Samar.And any other assistance they need we'll gladly provide,as long as Minister Klimov permits of course."
"Yes sir."The First Mate responded.
Four transport choppers lifted off into the sky and headed east toward Samar,steadily increasing altitude as they went.

Government armies are stockpiling and preparing to hold on to their last holding.
The Atzeran fleet remains moored off the Eastern coasts keeping the Philippines isolated until the new Communist regime is established."

History repeats itself. First, the Philippine government had to be in exile during World War Two. Second, the Philippine government was now in jeopardy right now. They needed to be saved, the highest-ups with extreme priority. Their families were in danger. The Philippine government gave them the green light with Operation Rush Hour.

The plan was to extract every member of the legislative, executive, and judiciary branches from their homes. 40 submarines were waiting, ten of them being transport submarines from the Naval Logistics Arm of the United Federation Navy.

They sneaked past the Communist Allied blockade, keeping themselves hidden in the thermocline for the majority of the mission. Now they had to wait in the Manila Bay, where the submarines were waiting for them. This would be down to getting Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs) to the shores of Manila, where the boats would then escort the officials to safety inside the submarine. Another method was a helicopter flying over one surfaced submarine and then dumping its load of officials.

Before the president left, he gave a speech to the Filipinos:

“My countrymen, today is a time of war. A time of strife. The Communists are threatening our nation’s sovereignty and freedom, trying to put the nation at their bootheels for only their benefit.

I apologize if I had to leave. History has a way of repeating itself. First, the government had to be exiled during the First Civil War. Second, we have to do it now. But I promise the Filipino people: I shall return, and mark my words, communist enemies, for I shall return.”

Sgt. Jacob Baranda was the squad leader of one SEAL platoon that was supposed to extract members of the Philippine Senate, who camped along with their family in the Senate building in anticipation of the extraction. Baranda was a man of 38, with only one son who he adopted for the sake of raising a child, which was his primary goal in life. “Kit up, boys. Our target is the Philippine Senate that’s holed up already at the house, and they’re pretty much camping there. Our mission is to get them out of there and get out as soon as we can. We got it?” “Yes sir!” his squad replied with fervor, and the aircraft that they were riding-two Little Birds-flew towards the Senate.

They landed on the Senate building grounds and the roof and began to make their way to where the Senators were camping. Once the senators were found they round the senators up and brought them to the submarines.

“BPPF Death Sapphire we have our package, we’re incoming.” “Death Sapphire copies, you may unload all senate members, we’ll have to go back to Palmyrion.”

Everyone was in the submarines after just two hours. The crew set sail with the government officials towards Palmyrion, where they would set up a government-in-exile. History has just a way of repeating itself. They set sail, hidden by the thermocline and the active noise cancelling package the submarines were fitted with. They would set sail through the West Philippine Sea, where SSQ 15 was, and SSQ 15 would conduct SIGINT ops while docking regularly in Taiwan. Palmyrion had America and Taiwan as their allies during this, and not only them-they had Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam. They would provide solace for UFN ships when they arrive to kick the commie bastards out.

Meanwhile the Palmyrian government had hatched a plan to retake the Philippines, a multi-pronged attack from all sides of the compass when the time is right. Strike Submarine Squadron 15 had orders to move closer to the islands. Another Strike Submarine Squadron (SSQ/SUBRON), SSQ 14, had been deployed near Leyte Gulf to execute SIGINT ops as well. It would be hard to detect them, since they emit noise similar to the ambient noise of the ocean which would not show anything in sonar screens-using passive silencing, the submarine was so silent it would become a "hole" in sonar screens, so it had to emit noise via sound tapes that played noise similar to the ambient noise of the ocean around the submarine. Such tapes were updated regularly.

The submarine docks were busy, the submarines unloading their precious personnel consisting of Filipino officials, from the infamous Jejomar Binay to the rather tough-headed Miriam Defensor-Santiago. It was a lucky coincidence that Gabriel and Benigno Simeon III had the same surname, but entirely different lineages.

Operation Lost Star was about to be born. It had been discussed in the Situation Room, with the Palmyrian President's Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Filipino President's AFP Chief of Staff. "Now that the country is abandoned and the leaders out of the country we cannot command them, but we need to talk with our soldiers there." said Pres. Gabriel Aquino as he sat stiff and upright, looking at the Palmyrian Chiefs of Staff. "But how? They can be spying on signals right now. We need information security." "No need to worry. We can encrypt it such that only your generals can accept the message. We'll get them online, Your Excellency." President Gabriel Aquino politely said, as if to offer Pres. Aquino III a helping hand in the war.

"We can advise the military commanders back in the Philippines to conduct reconnaissance operations and transmit whatever intelligence they have collected to our nearby submarines. The transmission will be highly encrypted and secured with ASCII 26-character passwords. That would make transmissions highly secure. Furthermore the military units back home can do guerrilla warfare" the Palmyrian Chief Of Staff for the Army, Gen. Eduardo Balonga, said, with a confident tone that spoke of a large degree of success in such an operation that would involve extremely dangerous life-or-death, liberty-or-oppression decisions. "That sounds good. But-how do they get supplied?" the AFP Joint Chief of Staff, General Iriberri, asked, doubting if the soldiers can sustain the operations for long-even if the operation would be executed well, with Filipino efficiency and perseverance being the lifeblood of its success, what good is it if it cannot be fed well? Every military operation needs supplies, of course. "Every military operation will need supplies, we are aware of that. Small submersibles that can scour rivers can do. They will covertly transport supplies and reinforcements, as well as being hard to detect due to extensive noise cancelling. They would conduct guerrilla operations alongside our troops." "That sounds good. We must commence missions now."

These were the brown water vessels of the UF Navy-the Viscario-class littoral combat submarines. They were not designed for blue water combat, but were just as good for it, given their very small size. The Viscario was not just any kind of submarine-it was disproportionately packed with weaponry, including 600-mm torpedo tubes and a very small size-at only 200 feet long and 25 feet across, coupled with passive and active noise cancelling, magnetic signature counteracted by 27 independent electromagnets and ELF electrical fields, various hull coatings reducing sonar returns, and a mast covered in fiber mat radar absorbent material.

They set sail for the Philippines, alongside a few littoral combat supply submarines that can scour the rivers. The Viscario-class submarines would wreak havoc within the Atzeran fleet stationed in the area, slipping past many vessels undetected in radar and sonar. Even if outnumbered 1:3 they would use their deadly stealth and armament to destroy fellow Atzeran submarines and Atzeran surface vessels, as well as their extremely sensitive sensory equipment. They will leave no survivors from the Atzeran fleet. If that was not enough they would call in the nearby Task Force Gold, about 80 vessels strong. Furthermore the accompanying supply submarines, based as they were on the Viscario-class, were to supply the Philippine Army with supplies. For ease of use these supplies were not Palmyrian guns but rather Filipino service guns. There were also rations enough for one month of consumption. There were also ammunition stockpiles, as well as trainers who would train the Filipino soldiers on the use of the Palmyrian standard issue disposable rocket launcher: the Panzerfaust 3.

Only time would tell for how long Atzera can maintain her naval foothold on the Philippines. Operation Lost Star was about to begin. Death to the greedy and oppressive communist savages.
