Vaquean Economy IMPLODES!

A few months ago, Brighton Davis, our head of state, declared a state of emergency due to our country's economy imploding due to an unknown source.
Certain civilians stated that it was because of a certain issue that made vegetarianism compulsory. Some said that it was because of the young Head of State's affairs with another country's Head of Government. Even some went as far as to say it was because of his poor decisions in civilian rights, and radicals went to go and protest by destroying banks.
Maréchal-général Brighton Davis had this to say:
"None of these assumptions are true, neither are they false. I did allow many given rights, but it wasn't because of that. It was actually due to the budget imploding from our trillions of trilpents and my social spending edicts. This did include me stating that vegetarianism is compulsory, as well as improving the budget on education, and making motorized vehicles illegal. But it was for the good of the country to improve the health of millions in the Stratocratic state."
Many protested due to his poor choices about the economy, but others agree to cope with the high inflation and high dissent that later ensued with his statement.
But many rumours pass on whether if the head of state will lift the state of emergency or continue as it is.
Also, many rumour that the Maréchal-général will even start elections and step down from his position as the Maréchal of the State.
