HELENSTED WEEKLY
Today, after much fighting in the Colony of Maine, and the loss of 66,000 Helensted Royal Soldiers, the Archduke of Helensted, Geoffrey Roselance, has called an "all clear" and our brave soldiers come home by the thousands. Please take some time to remember the 66,000 men that were killed in the new world, 7,500 of them were said to be peacekeepers, stationed in Maine to help the locals with humanitarian aid.

"I'm just glad to be alive..." Helensted infantryman, Jon Corbit, said after being asked a question of what the fighting was like in Maine. The fighting was some of the bloodiest our nation has seen so far, and the casualty ratio heavily supported our enemy, Nova Auraluxia. There has not been an official ceasefire between Helensted and Nova Auraluxia but Archduke Roselance assures us there will not be further bloodshed in Maine.

Fascist Revolt in Iceland Crushed
A Helenstedian claiming to be the true monarch installed a fascist government for 6 days. However, on Saturday 105 Delta solders stormed inside the palace. The leader of the revolts ironically called Aharon was put on trial. We wait for Helensted to give a word about this outrageous revolt.

This Saturday, a fascist revolt was crushed in the capital of Iceland, a de-jure region of Nova Auraluxia. Helensted Archduke, Geoffrey Roselance assures the public that this revolt had absolutely no ties with the Helensted government, and hopes to talk with the Prime Minister of Nova Auraluxia about this issue. He goes on to praise the 105 Delta Soldiers that stormed the palace, stating that "...these 105 brave soldiers were able to crush a revolt, with little to no casualties, each and every one of them deserve medals for their service..." he then goes on to say that "...I hereby authorize the commissioning of 1,000 Helensted Royal Peacekeepers to be placed in the capital of the region of Iceland, until the revolt is finally permanently destroyed.

Auraluxian Military Shows Off "Project Halley"

The Auraluxian military is proud to show off Project Halley, taking inspiration from the popular game CoD. The kinetic bombardment satellites are equipped with state of the art stealth and laser technology to avoid interference. Powered by solar light and gamma rays, it is made to last several centuries in orbit. Three "Halley Satellites" were launched into space in a ceremony celebrating Auraluxia's massive victories over Helensted in Maine.

In addition to bombardment, it will also be able to show satellite images in real time and help military offensive by using it as an alternative form of communication and as advanced GPS.

German troops have officially moved into China and Japan. They quickly captured Manchuria (China) and The Two South Islands (Japan), each with about 4,000 troops. We hope to have complete control over Japan and Eastern China by tomorrow. Rebellions, funded by Greater Valdosta have begun in the French region of Alsace-Lorraine, the Russian autonomous oblast of Kalingrad, Northern Italy, Eastern Switzerland, the islands of Denmark, and Poland.

As thousands of soldiers march into the cities of Paraguay, Bolivia, Uraguay and Argentina, they claim cities and take control of many smaller areas. Quickly vaulting walls and moving in packs, they swiftly make their way into the capital cities. A group of Military Helicopters drop supplies to support the soldiers as they get through the countries. Eventually, the countries are locked down. No one was harmed during this operation. Greater Valdosta is left to proceed with this.

This morning he stated that "...the people of Helensted are tired after our recent defeat in Maine, the people of Helensted wish to remain neutral in the wars in Asia..." however, following that statement, he said something rather bold "...the people of Helensted will also not support Greater Valdosta in their imperialist wars, we will only aid our ally if Greater Valdosta itself becomes under threat from Nova Auraluxia. We appreciate your input. China has expressed interest in selling Manchuria to Valdosta. Due to failing economies; Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Suriname, and Guyana have joined The German Empire.

This week, thousands of Speretan soldiers traveled to Sri Lanka to press Spereta's de-facto claim over Sri Lanka. Spereta claims that Sri Lanka has always been inside of Spereta's sphere of influence and wishes that the world internationally recognizes Speretan sovereignty over Sri Lanka.

After a rough transition, Nova Auraluxia became an empire, its new short name changed from RNA to ENA. ENA sends a group of about 50 soldiers to colonize the Northern Canadian islands. To the surprise of the soldiers, their are barely any people there, but Canada still fights back by throwing fiery snow storms. However, after a few hours, the first establishment in the northern islands are made.

Helensted warns Imperialists
Archduke Geoffrey Roselance of Helensted has issued a warning to all of the imperialists of the world. Yesterday, in a speech outside of the tower of London, Geoffrey Roselance stated that "...the barbaric practice of Imperialism has gotten out of hand, consider this a firm warning, the next Imperialist war that goes on the in the world Helensted may take up arms." Is the Archduke bluffing? Or will he actually go to war against the Imperialists? Stay tuned for more info.

Helensted's recent technological advancement proudly shows off to the world
Following the recent defeat in Maine, the Grand Duchy of Helensted has created a new weapon to be used in defensive and offensive conflicts alike. This new heavily armoured tank stands on 4 rotating tracks, that can move over almost any terrain, armoured with uranium mesh reinforced composite armour, and armed with a three fifty cal machine guns, one on top, and two stationed in the front, and with 450 mm vs Armour-piercing fin-stabilized discarding-sabot APFSDS, 650 mm vs High-explosive anti-tank warhead shells, this tank may truly be unstoppable on the battlefield. The military of Helensted has only built 5 of these tanks so far, and are waiting to be tested on the field. We present to you, the HAVD-MarkIII, or the Helensted Armoured Vehicular Destroyer Mark Three.

The government of the USA begins work on a canal across Denmark to improve Shipping worldwide. In addition the USA military starts work on a defensive line along the canal. It will take roughly 4 months to complete, but once finished will be able to defend the whole of Denmark. The public is upset with this waste of tac money

After the journey into South America, the troops have been flown home back into Brazil. It looks like Oblivion may have managed to claim those lands, but Greater Valdosta is yet to publish the report. No troops were hurt and they all arrived back safely, people are being moved into the new lands and the government is funding projects to inflate the infrastructural industries within these new nations. Capitals cities are being chosen and the people are satsified with the new lands.

NAMTO Tests LASIK Gun
NAMTO, or the Nova Auraluxian Military Testing Organization, revealed an early prototype of the LASIK, a laser gun that brings massive cheers from the science fiction community. On his speech, NAMTO director Jouni Urho Rautio says the following.

I think that it is clear, that the Nova Auraluxia is no longer isolationist. Our region has woken up, angry. Many nations declared all out war, and even threatened us nuclearly. How much time do you think that we, with barely a functional military will stay safe?

Recently, as you might know, humiliated Helensted in Maine, as we forced their army to cowardly retreat rather than fight. Despite that, Greater Valdosta unfairly forced us to give back Maine. Later, Greater Valdosta began invading many defenseless nations, and tried to eject Auraluxia, from the Grand Entente. So we developed the Halley Satellites, which successfully defeated the much larger troops in many battles, until Great Valdosta threatened to use nuclear weapons on us, breaking international law. So we responded by secretly upgrading the Halley's capability to be able to intercept nuclear weapons by kinetic bombardment. We had also struck several suspected nuclear weapon sites in Greater Valdosta, a few of them which blew up. The Valdostan prime minister claims that he had 163 nuclear bombs, although it seems outrageous, we need to maintain on defense.

Our newest technological innovation, is the LASIK, a laser gun that can melt through 20 meters of steel every second. It is only 3 feet tall and a foot wide and has the same capabilities of the much larger American counterpart. Remember that this is still a prototype, to be more specific version 4. LASIK aims to be a handheld laser gun with at least being able to melt a meter of steel every second. We are giving LASIK more development funds, to counter Helensted's unbeatable tanks on a mass scale, if they ever decide to mass produce it.

With the canal across Denmark growing every day, The military is building defenses to stop potential attacks, and to help them they have dusted off 1979S era coastal defenses. Whike unable to destroy warshios of this era, they still have the power to stop any land assault.

Archduke Geoffrey Roselance says "It's time to move on"
"It's time to move on..." the Archduke of Helensted proclaimed this afternoon, "...from this moment onward the Grand Duchy of Helensted forgives the Empire of Nova Auraluxia for it's military assaults on Helensted in Maine." Roselance then continued to say "...I wish to reopen borders and trade with Nova Auraluxia, for it has become clear that the differences between our nations are petty, and we are sisters in the Grand Entente." Roselance also restates the words from his speech a few weeks ago, saying that "...Although I wish to increase relations with Nova Auraluxia, I will take up arms against them if they prove themselves to practice the barbaric practice of Imperialism." Nova Auraluxia goes on shopping spree
The government of Nova Auraluxia decided to spend its treasury on expanding its border. I bought the Dominican Republic and Haiti. However, Cube refused the offer, so Auraluxia threatened Cuba with war if it didn't accept the offer. Raul Castro angrily accepted the offer but told the Auraluxian embassies that he would get revenge one day.

After that happened, a group of South American nations including Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela declared war on the foreigners. As a response, Nova Auraluxia quickly blockaded the nations and sent 15,000 Delta troops to capture the new alliances. Within a few hours Venezuela was conquered. After that, Colombia was attacked, Colombia was already preparing for an invasion, but they didn't get ready in time. Colombia was evacuated and the troops fled to Ecuador, where Ecuadorian, Peruvian and Columbian troops met up to stop the invasion. The brutal fighting continued until 2:35 AM. Despite being vastly outnumbered, the Delta troops fought bravely and had superior technology. In the end, Ecuador was captured, morale of the general Auraluxian troops was an all time high for defeating wave after wave of attack, but the Delta troops were exhausted, many died and many more were injured. While Peru never was invaded, the peace treaty was to divide Peru between. Northern Peru along with some of the South would be governed by Nova Auraluxia and the remaining Peru was to become the Free States of Peru.

Archduke Geoffrey Roselance gives heroic speech"
"This is outrageous!" Geoffrey Roselance proclaimed shortly before his quickly scheduled speech. The Archduke quickly scheduled a speech for the following day, and raised the DEFCON level. The following day the Roselance was seen by the public, standing tall and proud behind a podium, and in front of the Grand Palace. He then had to recite his quickly written speech. "Greetings people of Helensted..." he opened up, "I come with grave news. Nova Auraluxia has struck once again, proving himself to be a warmonger, and a threat to the peace of the world..." He then continues to say "We, the people of Helensted, will not tolerate this! We will fight for the liberation of our American Comrades! We will not give in!" He then lowers his voice, saying two words, "Remember Maine..." The crowd was completely quiet. "Remember lads, remember what they did, they butchered our retreating soldiers, they barbarically tried to sack our lands..." The Archduke then turned himself around, and gazed at the prancing stag of Helensted, an emblem in front of the palace. He then said the words of Helensted, "...the stag prances, no matter the forest." He turned around to face the crowd once more, "I demand from a nation under god, that we take up arms! They see us as weak, we'll show them! If you are watching this Nova Auraluxia, consider this a declaration of war!" The crowd then screamed the nation's motto in sinc. Stay tuned for more info.

New technology created to combat Nova Auraluxia's LASIK
If you are not already informed, Nova Auraluxia has created a new weapon, called LASIK, to combat Helensted's HAVD-MarkIII, LASIK is a form of laser warfare, created to melt through metal armour. Helensted's engineers have created a solution to the problem LASIK presents. They proudly boast a new plate of armour to be placed over the armour of all HAVD-MARKIIIs and to be equipped with every squadron of soldiers in active duty, they are to be carried in the packs of Helensted's combat engineers. You may be asking what kind of technology can resist a laser beam? The lead engineer on project CMA used one of the earliest technologies to date. Mirrors. You see, CMA stands for Combat Mirror Armour, and what is a laser? A light beam. What reflects light very welly? A mirror. On tanks, CMA is a mirror reinforced with platinum and uranium, and behind the mirror plate there is a 3-inch uranium mesh-reinforced composite armour plate. All this to go over the tank's original armor. In combat against LASIK, CMA is said to reflect LASIK right off of the tank, and travel right back into enemy lines, all at the speed of light. Thanks to our engineers we have come up with a cheap method to deal with LASIK. Stay tuned for more info.

Helensted's Military Assembles!
Following the Archduke, Geoffrey Helensted's declaration of war against Nova Auraluxia, Helensted's Royal Army assembles. Soldiers and volunteers from across the country assemble in nearby military bases to prepare for the conflict ahead. Along with the assembling army, every inch of Helensted's coast has been fortified with mines, trenches, and bunkers, a huge blow to Helensted's economy, but worth it in the long run, for the protection of the people. The five HAVD MarkIIIs whereabouts are currently unknown to the public, to conceal them from Nova Auraluxia's eminent airstrikes. Stay tuned for more info.

Project Halley takes a huge blow!
Today, Minister of Defense, Jonathon Peternel, revealed the critical success of a recent mission. Peternel successfully launched a mission to decommission two of the three satellites displayed in Nova Auraluxia's "Project Halley." He stated that the task was actually quite easy, you destroy satellites by either blowing them up, or knocking them out of orbit. Three small drones were sent up into space this morning, with the only goal to decommission the satellites. Two of these drones, were successful, one of them rammed right into one of the satellite's solar panels, destroying the panel and ultimately knocking the satellite out of orbit after many rotations. The second successful drone strike knocked into one of the satellite's engine, causing a small explosion inside of it and frying the satellite's insides, the same satellite was also knocked out of orbit as a result. Peternel warned us to still remain on high alert, for there is still another Halley Satellite in space. On the bright side however, today's successful mission has costed Nova Auraluxia billions in project funds. Helensted now awaits the eminent attack from Nova Auraluxia.

President Otto von Bismarck II has declared that Greater Valdosta will help Helensted economically in it's war against Nova Auraluxia. We urge Auraluxia to stand down, or we will place economic sanctions on the nation of Nova Auraluxia. We do not want to enter this war, due to recent conflicts with Auraluxia and recent , classified projects.
