Terizov Palace, located in St. Vladimsburg
Inside the ornate halls of Terizov Palace hundreds of assistants and servants scurried about in their last minute preparations for the coronation ceremony. Emperor Stanis IV of Mascargo and Queen Anna of Daegan were to be formally married, merely days after the public execution of Mascargo’s previous Queen Anastasia on grounds of treason. Speculation and conspiracy had risen over the validity of the charges placed against the now-deceased Queen, with some even going as far as to say that Stanis had orchestrated the ordeal and even fabricated the evidence which led to her death. Regardless, none were brazen enough to speak about it outside of hushed whispers, and the Order of the Knights of Kar was quick to handle those who didn’t follow.
The coronation was a massive victory for both Stanis and Anna on a political level. It was obvious from the beginning that the union between their nations would be a strong one, but it surprised many when they took the step further. Stanis envisioned an international organization, and he had intended to form it around the union, an obvious attempt to fill the void that the Federation of Autocratic States left behind. The United Dawn Imperium, as Stanis and Anna coined it, was to be a monumental step into world order and unity. In which all nations were welcome and the right of self-determination held sacred. An organization that wouldn’t fail so easily as the FAS did.
Emperor Stanis and Queen Anna had long ago arrived at the soon-to-be Imperial Palace, both of their families having arrived with them. Terizov would be segregated from Mascargo legally and become a separate entity where both of them could work in peace. It was clear that Stanis and Anna would still hold their previous titles in addition to the Imperium’s throne.
Both of the royals were in the process of dressing, adorning their elegant robes and ornate outfits. Servants went about their separate rooms, assisting them in preparing for the coronation. Terizov Palace was the second-largest palace in Mascargo, owing its existence back to the days when the country was split in civil war, the north against the south. Both of the royals had arrived early to be dressed, and for Stanis to oversee final preparations. An invitation was sent out days before to the entire world, inviting everyone to attend.
The servants sat out trays of food and drink for the guests, knowing that the earliest would have to wait until every nation attending arrived. After that, the coronation would begin and the event would finally end with a ball to celebrate the coronation of the two rulers. The Crown’s Melody, an orchestra, were in process of finishing their set up. They would play from the balcony above the coronation, the building designed to perfectly reflect their music down upon the crowd.
All in all, the Palace was prepared and guards walked about the grounds, the entire city on high-alert.
[OOC: Alright, this marks the beginning phase of the coronation. You can either start by arriving on a plane or arriving at Terizov Palace. Regardless, by your first post, please have arrived at the Palace.]
