Synopsis: The Red Star Union a communist aligned country in the region of Greater Dienstad has been facing a attempted civil war by the 'Black Star Movement' a fascist militant army that is trying to overthrow the communist government. After several months of fighting with most of it centered around the city of Yakar, the Ordernite Reich has launched an invasion to relieve BSM forces, break the stalemate and overthrow it's communist government.

Unfortunatly their is no map of the RSU, the former player didn't have one. Also I don't know if you read my posts but at this point the Ordenite Reich has more so half a million soldiers along with several naval fleets. You'd probably want to talk with Mokastana about finding somewhere to land because anywhere else and you'll be facing a really bad welcoming party.

On the political front it will not be long before the Monavians start slinging missiles into the fray instead of communiqués (check your Richtofen Statement thread), though that does not mean they’ll be in a hurry. The Monavian leadership will probably call a meeting with the Mokan and Fegosian forces to plan out a comprehensive strategic vision for how to stabilize the RSU before sending in additional support troops to back their allies. After that, the task will be to organize the RSU’s remnants into something resembling a functioning country since it’s likely that the RSU will be in shambles before this is all over.

*Keep in mind, not all of this is currently in country. In fact, most of it isn't. This is what we are deploying. I wholly understand the amount of time and effort it takes to transport troops, especially armor, from a country into a combat theatre. Troops are filtering into the country as quickly as they can. The only exception is light armor capable of being moved by strategic airlift, such as some of the Lyran built light tanks I use.

I have officially decided that the Ordernite Reich needs Castillian assistance in the escalating Red Star Union conflict. I will be sending the following forces. These forces will provide as a deterrent to further aggression against the Ordernite Reich in the Red Star Union, by placing an effective fighting force with intentions of keeping the peace and securing a line of demarcation which will be then patrolled by my forces. My special forces units will actively pursue and terminate the operations of the Fegosian mercenaries in the RSU. These forces will land in Dathel Port in an IC post a few IRL days from now, to represent the time from me announcing my intervention and my actual landing.

I will probably need a bit more time to get an IC post together (I currently have a CPA Exam review course to handle). That being said, I would appreciate it is Mokastana responded to my IC correspondence in the Richtofen Statement thread since I planned on using the events of that thread to create an IC opening for Monavian entry into the conflict. [EDIT: It appears that Mokastana had to address some RL priorities like I have, so I should probably apologize for sounding impatient about waiting for his replies.]

The Monavian government has spent the better part of July 2015 pretending to play both sides of the game under a veil of armed neutrality while secretly covering its allies with various shipments of equipment, funding, and the like. Monavian submarines berthed in Mokan facilities under FURRF (Fegosian Union Rapid Reaction Force) basing plans have been detailed to shadow Mokan ships in vulnerable areas since July 8 to punish any Ordernite aggression against Mokan vessels at sea.

Monavian surveillance satellites have also been covertly collecting intelligence regarding the military situation in the RSU since roughly the same time, though some satellite flyovers from previous months are also being taken into account to map out the historical progression of Ordernite and Black Star militia advances. Most importantly, however, the Monavians have been quietly locating and tracking suspected Ordernite communications and surveillance satellites so that they can be easily targeted if (or rather when) hostilities break out.

A comprehensive roster of Monavian forces within the theater is probably forthcoming.

UWO, I was trying to set up Gryaznaya to be a much bigger battle than just one post that last one day ICly...

I don't know exactly how many men you're throwing at it, but there is a decent size group of Mokan soldiers, and the PMCs who've been flown in.

Since the battle will pretty determine the fate of central RSU, and both sides in this case are controlled by players, we should RP the battle out.

Also, what's the state of territories conquered by Operation Rapid Stroke? I imagine there is still a bit anarchy as the controlling government changes

I'd expect quite a bit of insurgency. I'm in control of Kamenka, and will be using fear tactics, pestilence, and mass murder to eliminate that.
