Vince sighed. There really was nothing to say. After the leave the ferry, they will have to head straight to Danyal. While happy about the result, he was nervous for Alternative's reaction. They wouldn't stand for this.

"Napoleon," Vince looked at the young boy, "what do you think of the Ophir skyline.", he says as he gazes towards the approaching shore and the towering city.

"Somehow I find that this is where Perotasoa and the NMK connect. The NMK is rich and advanced, and Ophir has the chance to bring this to the whole of Perotasoa. This is something we should be proud of."

As the ferry arrives in the port, a special car surrounded by motorbikes arrives to escort the group to the Petra (Perotasoan parliament). They will be watching the inauguration of the new government, which will then be followed by a meeting with Danyal.

Napoleon darts off from the ferry towards the special car. He is excited to explore. He tries not to bump into anything on the way.

The Perotasoan government has authorised aid to land from the URA and Karniverous aircraft, though only at a maximum of two aircraft landings per three hour period, to ensure negotiations aren't hindered by threats and blackmailing. A meeting with the URA President and some of his important officials has been scheduled in Ophir, the Perotasoan economic and political capital, for now, to show disapproval to Karniverous for the excess placement of armed forces on Perotasoan ground. The Premier has contacted the Karniverous government, demanding that they decrease their military presence size to one ship, HMS Vigilant, and two aircraft with a maximum of 30 people altogether for the sole purpose of distributing aid. Perotasoan soldiers will be there to help distribute aid properly, though the number will be kept to a maximum of 300, enough to bring supplies to all areas affected by the eruption. If Karniverous obeys this, then the meeting will be held on board the HMS Vigilant as a token of gratitude for their patience and respect for sovereignty.

President Gabriel Drake of the URA has declined meeting in person, but has offered to send a representative of the URA in order to hammer out details. While this is happening, the aid fleet off the shore of the in-danger area has been ordered to abide by the orders of only using the two transport helicopters to offer aid every three hours, and the task fleet has been happy to announce they are sticking with this rule. A plane carrying the representative, a couple additional advisors, as well as the necessary security to keep the representatives safe has taken off from an airport in order to land at a Perotasoan airport closest to Ophir in order to discuss and negotiate the following crisis and how it will be handled.

The news shocked everyone and they were bursting with curiosity regarding what the Premier will do about it.



Danyal arrives and sits down quickly at the front of the chamber. He seems the least bit nervous, even happy.

"Good evening everyone. I am glad everyone was able to make it here tonight. I have some very important announcements to make.

"Firstly, congratulations to all for winning your seats in this chamber in the election. I hope to lead this nation again in the best possible way I can. And that means the following. Written in our constitution, of the Royal States of Perotasoa, is the emergency rights of the Premier to pass legislation and execution without any sort of vote or support from the Petra. I now ask the permission of my Chancellor and Chairman of the Petra for me to use the Emergency Power of the Premier clause."

Shocked, everyone turns towards the head table where the Chancellor and Chairman are seated. They both give the thumbs up. Premier Danyal now has the power to rule like an autocrat.

The politicians disperse across the room as they prepare to leave, talking quietly to themselves. Meanwhile, Danyal beckons Vince and the NMK officials to follow him into one of the meeting rooms.

Alternative and its supporters are on the way, literally, and they will take power with ease. But that is not my concern. What is my concern is that, for now, I am in control of Perotasoa, so I will do all I can to introduce important things for the nation in the short amount of time I do have power for.

"But I would like to discuss something very important with you. I plan to form a government-in-exile, and I would like very much if the NMK can extend a helping hand to the Royal family of Perotasoa and agree to host the government-in-exile in the NMK. I know that Vince is in favour of this, but I want to hear it from the rest of you gentlemen, and also Emperor Napoleon. If this Alternative march continues, I want you gentlemen and the Royal family to leave as soon as possible. I myself will stay here as long as I can, doing the right thing for my nation."

He turns to leave, then looks at the Mushroomian ministers.

Vince furrowed his brow.

"Well, we want to finish this trip for our Emperor, so as long as the members of the Royal family will be allowed into the NMK, at least as asylum seekers, then we can continue our trip until the last possible moment. Without leading into any trouble of course."

"Goodbye, Danyal. I will see you soon!" was Vince's bid of farewell as he left the room with everyone.

Alternative has gathered many, many supporters on the march. People all across Perotasoa are protesting against the government. Bront and his group are marching their way symbolically across the land bridge that connects Peratasa with a small island near the coast of Maishan.

Bront gave a few short words to say what is going to happen.

"The Royal family has nailed the final nail of the coffin by allowing this election fraud to happen. The democratic will of Perotasoa is for a different future than to what they are offering, and they have gone and overridden this. Perotasoa will never tolerate this. They must stand down as we reach Ophir."

Regarding possibilities of negotiations with Danyal, a rumour that has appeared recently, he said that "we must bring our change in the best way suitable."

The Premier has officially announced a request for Bront to negotiate the future of Perotasoa. This, he says, will bring out the best possible future for Perotasoa. Bront has apparently agreed, as Alternative sweeps over Perotasoa and is ready to take on Ophir.

"I hope to come back to here within my lifetime. Alternative can't take everything away. But don't worry, we will be safe, and the NMK will prosper. You are the Emperor of the NMK after all!"

Bront has arrived in the Imperial Palace, where Danyal awaits him. The meeting is tense. Reporters film the two as they meet, shake hands, smile for the cameras, and then go to the meeting room.



It is expected that the negotiations will take a long time. Meanwhile, the Royal family has received the message to start 'planning their future', meaning leave for the NMK. The NMK officials have been told the same.

The group begins to walk towards their waiting vehicle and chauffeur. As they climbed into the car and sped off to the Ophir Royal Airport, Vince pulled out a packet of Perotasoan crisps for Napoleon, and brooded about the future.
