Hence why I conceded in the next sentence that a we can set up a range (for example a fleet is 500-700 ships) it is mostly a rule. (though I am running on about an hour of sleep right now so it may be that or maybe I am just overthinking things, sorry if I seem nonsensical).
Though yes I think standard was a bit strong. Maybe "average size" of fleets would seem better (leaving space for very large and small fleets because its just an average).

Why exactly is anything over 1,000 "god-mode"?
Wouldn't the strength of a fleet be measured by not only the scale of the number of ships as compared to its adversaries, but in addition, the strength and capacity of its ships?
If two fleets of 10,000 ships, large and small vessels comprising each of the two, enter combat, there is nothing necessary 'overpowered' about it; it is simply a very large engagement.
Ergo, the issue with standardization, as Thrashia speaks on.

Hmmm.
Then we should list sizes of ships, and their tonnage, and have an total weight be a fleet size. So, a small ship would be, say, 50 tons, but a large one could be 200 tons. So a small fleet could be under 500 tons. Sound good?

So I will stick with Dominion's response that we each should decide on our own average fleet sizes, based off of our factions cultures and circumstances. But for sanity's sake lets make sure before a battle or something that we state how many ships are in our own individual fleets and just stick with that number
