The delegation of the USSB is officially announcing its bid to run for General Secretary of the Socialist Alliance. We believe we are right for this position for three main reasons:

-We are long time advocates for Socialism and have no problem going to war to defend the ideal and act on behalf of the alliance whenever necessary.

-We are very active in organizations like the UN and hold high up positions on such organizations. We are even a co-founder for the United Nations and hold veto power and a permanent seat on the Security Council.

-Our nation is the founding member of this alliance, and as such we have great loyalty and devotion to the cause and other members.

For these three reasons, we officially announce or candidacy of the General Secretary position.

For the greatest convenience to all members of the alliance, time to announce a candidacy for a position on the Socialist Alliance government will run through this weekend and formally end on Monday April 6th, 2015 at 12:00 PM CST. If you would like to run for a position, you can announce any time between now and then.

Once we have every candidate announced, new threads will open which will have all the positions and the candidates running for them on ballots which members can vote on. Very soon, we will release a formal constitution for the alliance which states term limits and what the responsibilities of each position are.

Also, currently Altarastan has experienced a large breakout of war with several islamic insurgent groups taking territory in the east as well as other anti-government forces springing up. We ask the Alliance to overview the situation and come to a quick and clear diliberation on the matter and wether or not Altarastan can see any aid from the alliance. Thank you.
