United Pacific: A group of countries in the Pacific who have banded together in order to have the resources to go into space. The elevator is located in Tokyo, Japan
Great Illuminati Federation: A group of countries that have found enlightenment in the illuminati. Elevator is in Cairo, Egypt.

The year is 2020. With Earth reaching its very limits, all nations have banded together to form new alliances and build space elevators. Each alliance has built a space elevator and are planning to expand into space. Three nearby systems have been explored by probes.

New System
Taria, a planet in the Tarus system has been deemed habitable as water can survive in all three forms. It is about 1.5x the size of Earth and has one satellite the same size as the moon. Tarus 2 & 3 are gas giants and Tarus 4 is an uninhabitable lava planet only 50 million km from the sun at its furthest and 45 million at its shortest. It is 247.4 light years from Earth,

New System
The only habitable planet in the Centurion system, Centuria has an almost Earth like atmosphere with confirmed life. However, none of the known life is inteligente and Centuria is almost double the size of Earth and is 50% land. Two other planets, both gas giants orbit at around 700 million kilometers. Centurion 3 has one satellite which is approximately half the size of the moon. It is 200.5 light years away.

New System
Deis is a system with only 2 plants. It has one planet that has confirmed water, but the planet is 90% land and Earth sized. The other is an ice planet orbiting at 1,700 million kilometers from the sun. Deis 1 has two satellites each the same size as the Moon. It is 324 light years away.

"What are we doing?" Overseer Steele questioned.
"We are sending up supplies to begin the construction of the V.E. Space station. It will be about a half mile from the elevator. Nations will be able to rent out space once it is complete. We have about 30 construction drones that will be building it," a technician answered. "We have sent up enough supplies for two months of construction along with the drones to build."
"What is the time frame for completion?"
"About a year at our current rate with the current plans."
“Acknowledged,” the Overseer said gazing up the shaft of the space elevator with some protrusion which he knew were laser systems designed to destroy missiles and drones.

“What is the status of Monamari?” The Emperor asked his secretary.
“It is currently off the shore of what was Mexico near the island of Cuba. It is ready to attack as soon as need be.”
“Good, good. Send an official communique requesting that the nations of Central America and the islands to our East join us.”
“Will do sir,” The secretary responded.

“You have 300 combat suits, no water ones though, 10 M1A2’s, 200 Scorpion tanks, 1,000 Hydras, and 150,000 Imperial Guard to fight with.”

Councilmen Alder looks at the news a bit worried. Vogega's announcements on its actions toward South America and the North Atlantic are troubling. He sighed sadly, if the AG or UP got involved in this a bigger conflict may erupt for land grabs all over the planet, after all no other nations can stand up to any of the current alliances. He presses a button on his desk, "Call up the other independent nations of the Pacific, tell them we will be having the conference. And get PCH on the line."

BREAKING NEWS
The USU has called all independent nations in the Pacific to attend a summit for peace and defense in Union City. the conference will address the growing concern over Vogega's actions and will discuss access to the power from the Orbital Elevator for the region. More details on this as it goes along.

Particle Company Headquarters (PCH) - R&D
Underneath nearly a story of rock and concrete the technical geniuses of the Particle Company's staff are hard at work. They are building everything from the new MAAS units for the Union military to the massive USU Enduring hope for the fleet. however, the center of attention in the underground complex today lies in the center of the facility. A large cone shaped machine, surrounded by scientists and techs, sits in the center of a domed room. Suddenly an alarm blares and all personnel leave the area. Then a speaker blares out, "Test commencing in 3....2.....1....test starting!" The machine whirrs and begins to come online. inside the device gears turn and wheels spin. Suddenly the device begins producing massive amounts of glowing white particles and the 1-ton machine begins to lift off the ground. A pair of arms retrain it from impaling itself on the roof of the complex. "sir...we have it generating power and lift....techs report we are no longer feeding the device power. Its self sufficient!" The head of the Particle Company, Jonah Kepler, looks at the device and smiles, "This is going to change everything!"

Councilmen Alder walked into a domed room with a strange looking device in the middle, "Is this it?"
Keplar walks next to him, "Yes, this is the machine three generations of my family have worked to build, and now it is ready."
Alder looks at him and smiles, "Once again your company surprises me, but what are the limits of this machine?"
Keplar then frowns, "Well its size is the only determining factor for power generation one 3 meters high could power a large vehicle. One several stories high could power entire cities. Also the particles it emits are not exactly healthy for you either, but only if they are in extremely large concentrations at on point."
Alder raises an eyebrow, "Thats one hell of an issue there. Is there any way to fix that?"
Keplar looks at Alder with a glint in his eyes, "We may be able to, but I need to ask a very large favor....."

Peace boat, Off the coast of USU.
There are 7 men on the boat. Two pilots, three guards, an Overseer and a secret agent.
On the radio the overseer said to USU harbor, “We are here for the peace conference may we dock. Two of the guards would go ashore with the Overseer and one would guard the boat. The secret agent was there to gather information about the rumor of a particle energy generator.

Monamari, Cuban Shore
The gate opened on the war bubble and Imperial Guardsmen poured out followed by Scorpion Tanks and Hydra super soldiers. The troops stormed up the beach overwhelming the beachside defenses and men with the element of surprise and superior firepower.. Taking the other part of the island would not be so easy.

We have also sent enough supplies up in our elevator to build the space station. The drones are hard at work and we have perfecting our habitation modules. They can survive anywhere now.

USU Orbital Elevator Upper Station
A massive vessel with a Particle Company logo on the side casts off from the planet. The 100 year long vessel is named the Godspeed and attached to the vessel is four cone shaped objects. As the objects power up, particles appear from them and the vessel start moving away from the planet. Once it is clear, the objects go full throttle and the ship to a destination that would take a conventionally power vessel 5 years time to make. However, the Godspeed planned to make it to Jupiter in less then one.

PHQ
The cone shaped devices are loaded into machines and activate. As they do the machines powered systems begin to charge up. Larger then a MAAS unit and as fast as a small car, the machines begin to walk toward the practice range. They will not disappoint.
Watching them from an observation post, Keplar looks at the data now worried. Not only was the generator becoming increasingly unstable, but the particles were becoming far more volitle. Saying this he took the only copy of the machines blueprints with him on a flash drive. Alder had made his point that right now the USU should not let the tech fall into the wrong hands, but once it was improved and safe they would sell it on the open market. He hope that the Jupiter mission would help the progress of the devices development, The Particle generator.

OOC: actually we all do/don't have stations. In order for an orbital elevator to be built you have to have a counterweight on the opposite side being either a asteroid or a station. So we all have elevator stations, not orbital.
If you want I can say the ship launched from the planet.

As the vessel approaches Jupiter it lowers itself into the planet's lower orbit and begins to run some tests on the particle generators and how they can improve them. Estimated return time, 1 year.

PCH
While the MAU units and the Particle Generator are being improved and re-developed on the far side of the underground facility a strange machine sits. Over 3 stories high this strange looking oval machine is going to change everything for the Union. A particle generator is hooked up to it and the machine whirrs to life. The computer console next to it activate and a message appears on the screen, ORIGIN BUILDER ONLINE - AWAITING INSTRUCTIONS.

"We can't get past what they've set up," a soldier reported to the commander.

"Yes sir." Two tanks rolled up. With a whine, there armor starts to spin and they drive towards the enemy. The tanks open up on the prototypes. The shots bounce off the armor before exploding in the dirt. A fighter flies overhead and releases three missiles. Two are destroyed, but one hits the tank directly. It explodes in a ball of fire as the plane is blown to bits in the sky. The Scorpion and M1A2's move forward attacking the enemy tanks and infantry follow behind them. The general watched as Cuba's last troops were destroyed before the onslaught.

Peace Conference
The Overseer walks into the conference and starts asking about people who are interested in an alliance. His bodyguards follow him everywhere. The spy slips in and finds the USU diplomat.
"Give this to your Particle team. It contains data we believe may help." The spy slips away into the crowd. Inside the letter is

Also the Godspeed team in Jupiter orbit has made a few stunning breakthroughs. When they return we expect to create anew particle device that will be both stable and far more powerful. We also appreciate this data that you gave to us. In return for this we would like to help you with your annexation of Cuba. Please send over the tactics and combat data (strengths a weaknesses of your and enemy machines/troops) you have gathered from the attacks, we may be able to give you something that can give you the edge.
