That could be a good idea where the USSR and US have a falling out over how NATO should deal with the Imperialist Bloc and the USSR forms the Warzaw Pact to combat NATO and the Imperialist Bloc

Wouldn't it be funny if the USSR just straight stabbed NATO in the back by striking a big trade deal with China, then dropping all the US debt the purchased by the Soviet government because of the financial crash, much like Russia wanted to do in reality. Essentially, every penny of US debt purchased by the USSR and China would be dumped out on the open market, and because of the financial crash, no one would want it, so the US could see the crisis get even worse.

This is also assuming, the Middle East oil producers working with the US like Saudi Arabia would also dump the debt and trade deal. Although, I figured the US would get its oil mainly from Canada and Russia, since it would be cheaper and safer.

Then, the USSR, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Albania formed the Warsaw Pact. That would make the RP, very interesting


In all seriousness, Jurestsit's idea is a good one. During the financial crisis and the difficult, rising Cold War tensions, as well as a Soviet populous who are very angry about the USSR's involvement in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the Soviet Union could very reasonably leave the US and the West behind in favor of standing on its own against all other powers in an effort to spread international communism or something like that. That would lead to the USSR's demise though.

According to your political map Saudi Arabia is a battleground nation for NATO and the Imperialist Bloc so all Saudi Arabia would have to do is join the Imperialist Bloc and that would be all

Oh c'mon, did you really expect that NATO wasn't imperialist in any way? Two of it's dominant powers, the USSR and UK made their economies from annexing everything around them, and then some. I mean, Blayk annexed most of Algeria and a huge chunk of Spain For crying out loud. A member of NATO is the Nicaraguan Empire!

In my defence Blayk only Invaded Northern and Southern Spain.
Algeria and Morocco were former Colonies that re-joined with Blayk.
