Civil War Breaks Out in Almiana! (GNP Only)

[Almiana]

After a heated argument at the GNP Regional Council 5th Summit, Almianan Premier Cherdenko flew back to his beloved homeland only to find rioters on one end of the capital building, and loyalists on the other. Former Almianan Dictator Phillepe Hans had beated Cherdenko back to his country, and had started an anti-Communist, Nationalist uprising. Promising the 'freedoms of Capitalism and a free market society,' and to install a conservative democracy based off of ones own merit, rather than the Single Party Socialist State Almiana currently is, Hans had successfully won over about 40% of the Almianan population, who were still struggling under a weak, fragile economy. Premier Cherdenko calls out to the rest of the Comintern for assistance, while Hans calls upon the Union of Empires to fight for the Capitalist cause, noting that a war would make the already relatively disorganized Comintern even weaker. Currently, Hans has successfully led his ragtag group of militia men to pushing back the ill-equipped, ill-trained army of Almiana back, severing un-conquered Almiana's border with the rest of the Comintern's.

Official Communique from the Soviet People's Republic of Chernarus

In response to the Civil War in Almiana, the Soviet People's Republic of Chernarus hereby CONDEMNS former Dictator Phillepe Hans for multiple war crimes and his recent actions on his return to Almiana. The Soviet People's Republic of Chernarus also recognizes Premier Cherdenko and his government as the SOLE, LEGITIMATE leader of Almiana. In order to help uphold law and order within Almiana, as well as put down this rebellion, Chernarus will be supplying and aiding Almianan troops against this unlawful rebellion. In addition, with the consent of their government, the deployment of the Soviet People's Liberation Army to Almiana will begin.

"Turn that down we don't want enemy bombers to see the lights!" As Philippe Hans enters the room. Beside him was his personal bodyguard Alfred Falric. "Falric, this offensive couldn't have gone better, it was sure nice that Emperor TonyDimes let us build tunnels along the border and give us military equipment to invade, though I didn't expect the Commie military to launch an attack from the North so fast, now were stuck in the North-West, give a status update on the Capital." Falric took out a cigar and lite it. "I'm afraid it isn't going well, the mob we sent has mostly been propped up by the soldiers we trained in exile, I would suggest evacuating and try to re-establish a border with Nickel, maybe then they can give us some aircraft." Philippe Hans waves away some smoke. "Ok give the order, we must establish control over the territory we have."

[Soviet Chernarus]

The government of Chernarus has granted permission for Petrovokian passage through Chernarus; in response to the official communique announced by Premier Nikoláy Medvedev, the Chernarussian 12th Army, comprising of 46,000 men, is prepared to be sent into Almiana. Mobilization of the military has begun, and with the rising threat of war, the government has moved the Combat Readiness Levels to CODE RED.

Message to Almiana

With the news of Phillipe Han's recent rebellion within your country, the Soviet People's Republic of Chernarus is preparing to send an army to help crush this rebellion. With your consent, the troops will be sent in, and we will do anything within the full extent of our capabilities to ensure that there are minimal civilian casualties. However, I would also like to address another topic within this message: the state of your military. WIth all due respect, it is in poor condition, and we failed to address that issue after the Great Regional War. The Chernarussian government has agreed to lend the equivalent of 30,000,000 US dollars to be put towards improving your military. We are also willing to send large shipments of rifles, weapons, grenades, and vehicles, as well as military advisors and Chernarussian officers to train your troops. I await your response to my offer, and wish you luck in crushing Han's rebellion.

While the Serenissimi Regis found no reason to response to the happenings currently happening within Almania, I have seen the opportunity to officially response for the Serenissimus Regnum towards previously named happenings that are currently happening within Almania while enjoying my lunch in the office. The Serenissimus Regnum sees the lack of quality in regards to the information given about the civil war quite... saddening and wishes to implore all sides of the conflict to seek an expansion of quality control in regards to news outlets within Almania. One of the few things that we have seen that are lacking are, among other things, the utter lack of information about areas currently occupied by one force or another, the utter lack of numeral information in regards to Almanian forces and the utter lack of depth in regards to the motivation of all sides. We further wish to condemn all international partakers in regards to this conflict as they have jumped in without the intelligence that one should expect from diplomats, like a pack of hungry dogs covered in barbecue sauce seeking to eat each other. While the world could be a place of greatness, all sides have selected for thrill-seeking death wishes and we hope that all sides receive said death that is wished so that a new generation of forward-thinking diplomats and military men may come forward to work towards a better, richer future.

PISAC Headquarters, New Moscow
Soviet People's Republic of Chernarus

The People's Intelligence and State Security Agency of Chernarus, also commonly called PISAC, was Chernarus's equivalent of the CIA or the KGB. They were responsible for foreign intelligence, counter-intelligence, political security, and the suppression of internal dissent within Chernarus. Headquartered in New Moscow, the Director of PISAC was a former soldier named Vasily Nashidka, known by his subordinates as "the Bull" due to his aggressive nature. While he had his faults, he directed all intelligence operatons ranging from Petrovokia to the Nickel Empire to Zhizhao. With the civil war in Almiana, the director was called upon to send agents, in the hopes of extracting information and intelligence on the rebellion as well as Han's whereabouts.

A man, looking like your stereotypical secret spy ninja agent, approached where Nashidka was, carrying a briefcase. The black briefcase had the hammer and the sickle on it, with the words "CLASSIFIED INFORMATION: SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL 6" in Russian neatly printed below the hammer and the sickle. As he approached, Nashidka looked up. A scar, a reminder of his old days as a soldier, ran down on his left cheek. His skin seemed to sag a little; while he was aging, and getting old this did not change the fierce look in his eyes. The PISAC agent set the briefcase on the table, before opening it.

The Director of the Agency scowled at the agent, as he pulled a stack of documents out of the case. He placed the documents in front of Vasily, where he slowly began to read them. These papers related to the civil war in Almiana; in it were also clear, official orders from the Premier. PISAC agents would be sent into Almiana for a mission to infiltrate Han's rebellion. It wasn't the first time he had been ordered to do this; he read over all of the documents, dismissing the agent as well. When he finished, Vasily got himself a steaming mug of coffee before going on his laptop. First he skimmed over the news; Chernarus did that, Petrovokia requested this, blah blah blah. Taking a sip out of the mug, he then opened up something on the laptop. It was a classified document sent from the Office of Anti-Defection and Counter-surveillance- they were responsible for spying on the spies, as Vasily liked to say. As he read the document, his eyes widened in surprise.

The Chernarussian-Almianan Border

With the Civil War in Almiana, troops began to mass along the border, with troops getting ready to enter the country. The Chernarussian military, formally known as the Soviet People's Liberation Armed Forces, had been on an elevated state of combat readiness ever since the Great Regional War - they had already fought with the former dictator Hans before in the war. The small force of Chernarussian soldiers, combined with a large offensive from Aaresa, had overwhelmed his army and occupied Almiana temporarily. But now, they would be supporting Premier Cherdenko against Hans.

The Chernarussian 12th Army had been quick to mobilize as the 46,000 or so men prepared to enter Almiana. Along with the 12th were an entire armored division consisting mostly of T-90 Main Battle tanks. The 12th was also responsible for carrying a large shipment of modern weapons to equip the Almianan Army. In addition to the 12th Army, Chernarus has also begun preparing for the deployment of the 3rd, 7th, and 15th armies in case any of the UoE chooses to intervene in the Civil War. The Premier has called all of the Chernarussian Stavka in an emergency war council to discuss the present situation.

[A Colony Of Canadas]

A C-130 lands on a makeshift runway in Nickels Penal Colony. As the doors open, soldiers begin unloading weapons for the rebels. AK-47's. Cheap, yet efficient. The second wave of troops begin to step off of the other C-130's that landed before. 40,000 soldiers disembark, and begin the march to the border. The 36,000 men and woman that came with the first wave slowly reach the Almiana border. Tanks take point, and planes fill the skies. Artillery gets into position at the border, ready to strike. Operation Exodus has begun.

Petrokovian initial forces arrive and meet up with Chernarussian forces. Electronic warfare planes fly over head to help keep Petrokovian forces off of enemy radar, while AWACS fly overhead to aid in the early detection of enemy forces.

Tula Airbase, the B-52 "BUFF's" are preparing to take off, accompanied by C-130's and F-35's where they will carry out their mission. The B-52's take off followed by the C-130's with their valuable "cargo" and then the F-35's.

Meanwhile on the border the 240 mm's begin firing their massive shells followed by some Tomahawk Cruise missiles. After a 15 minute bombardment and bombing run the artillery go silence and the B-52's begin the return to base. After nearly five minutes of waiting the sound of engines roaring to life and the thump of soldiers climbing out of their trenches begin to be heard across the entire border. Suddenly thousands of infantry and hundreds of tanks, td's and self-propelled guns begin following them to help assist their allies. In the skies above the C-130's and F-35's continue their run and then hundreds of white dots begin filling the skies as paratroopers jump out of there transports.

Nichaareas Sea. "Captain that fleet has been sitting there for at least a day what could they possibly be doing?"
"They look like an enemy fleet, I just hope they don't cause any damage to the Colonist Fleet as the nearest squadron is at least 15 minutes away."
"Don't worry we will be fine captain, we will be fine."
"I hope so, and you will be relieved in 30 minutes."

The second wave of soldiers begins the march to the border. The first wave has crossed the border, and poured into Almiana. Artillery is heard firing in the distance. F-16's fly overhead, and cover the troops. The ships at sea launch their Cruise Missiles, and the F-16's bomb the enemy positions. Back in the Penal Colony, B-1B Lancers begin to taxi to the runway. Their targets are the communist forces standing in the ground forces way. They are loaded with cruise missiles and JDAM bombs.

Later on, the bombers appear. The whistling of bombs strikes fear in the hearts of the enemy. Explosions are seen and heard by the ground forces, who cheer as the bombers turn around and return to base. The artillery resumes fire as the soldiers advance. Creeping barrages kill anything in their radius. The troops move slowly and steadily in the cool Almiana night.
