Once mighty empire of Wengxi has fallen, and it's fall ten years ago affected the whole region. Powerful empire turned into network of warlord states, after it was torn apart by corruption by it's won officials. At first, it begun with powerful Mandarins - as the nation was despite large area and population one leg in the middle ages - begun tearing the empire apart by intrigues. Then, they begun separating themselves from the empire. Soon nothing was left of it, and even with coup d'etat by Jianwei Clique which later formed Jianwei government did not help. County just fell apart, torn by various warring factions. Months later Republic of Mengjintang was formed, another government. These two governments, while not being in direct agreement of what to do (Jianwei were nationalists, Mengjintang were Inyurstan - styled Contre-Liberals) asked for Wangish help in resolving problems. Gen. Maki Kojiro, minister of defence, upon signing a treaty of cooperation with Jianwei government (upon which Jianwei government agreed for Emperor of Wangdai to be their formal head of state, while retaining democratic institutions, turning county into British-styled constitutional monarchy) while Mengjingtang announced Republic of Mengjingtang. However, another very important place was in the north; Manjuguo. Manjuguo state was short-lived communist state founded by Revolutionary Mao Xianlao, who died during engagement of his army with Wangdai commandos on 21.01.2010. Since that time county split into various warring factions. Currently however, Progressive Totalitarian Socialist Movement commonly called Jianjin has been gaining strength there, mostly by looting former Governmental armouries and forcing people into joining it through terror. Jianjin managed to score few victories over forces of Wu Xiaolong and kill him in battle of Hunwa on 1st December 2014. They thought nothing will stop them. How wrong they were... for the storm has just begun.

It was dawn. Two Manju children, were playing on vast steppes of this land. Grasslands were all around surrounding this nation from each side. They were from poor family - as state of living of the population decreased a lot since the Manju Uprising in 2009 - but still were happy. Two of them, boy and the girl, looked at the hills of this land. Suddenly, a powerful explosion shattered their peace. The boy, Zheng, quickly ran to the nearest hill and looked outside. What he seen terrified him. From the east to west, ranks of well armed, well equipped armoured vehicles were coming with Mengjingtang and Wangish flags mounted on them. They looked like knights of death coming towards them. Various APCs carrying infantry and tanks were crossing the border as far as eye could see. In the matter of hours offensive moved 80km into Manjuguo. Operating in pairs and well equipped Wangish air force had no problems with at first running SEAD missions which ended in utter destruction of Jianjin air defences, which were mostly old soviet models, then raining death and thunder on exposed military bases. Because of nature of terrain - long and powerful Grasslands - their military had no cover and was quickly destroyed. Wangish military technology proven to be far superior to old soviet tanks that Manjus had. The end of the day brought great victory for the counter-revolutionary forces. Speed was their major weapon - and day ended in great victory.

Whole operation was guided and directed from here. General Hara Kazuhiro, old Wangish man looked at the map. The operation was going smoothly; Progressive totalitarian forces were in full disarray and retreat. Next to him Admiral Tay Guan-yin, new premier of the Jianwei government and only female staff member in the new army. They both were ensuring that the new government will be incorporated into Mengjingang, their allied government as province. Hara could not have been more happy; he turned around and saw his lieutenant General entering and saluting.

"Wonsan city has fallen to our forces" reported the officer "Mengjingang forces broken Socialist 10th Division on Touson steppes. Road to capital is open, but we believe they are going to give us hard resistance there."

"Affirmative" said Kazuhiro "Throw 10th corps on left bank of Salu river. We will reach the capital from the back, cut their supply lines and then attack."

"Yes sir!" shouted the officer and left.

Meanwhile Tay Guan-Yin has left him to make a broadcast.

The People's Republic of Cedoria expresses our utter condemnation of the repulsive, Imperialist actions of the Empire of Wangda, the blatant act of Imperialist aggression against a sovereign nation is simply an excuse for Wangda to exploit the local population, particularly the poor and workers, for the purposes of increasing their own power. As of this moment, the Communist Party of Cedoria is losing an official note of diplomatic protest to the International Community, showing that we condemn Wangda's aggression, urging the international community to stand united in their opposition to his illegitimate military action, and apply whatever diplomatic or economic pressure, embassy withdrawals, sanctions etc, are necessary to convince Wangda to back down from it's aggressive course of action.

Let the world be aware, we oppose Wangda's Imperialist actions in this region, and we suggest that instead, Wangda could restore the freedom and territorial independence of those it has conquered in order to allow the people there own right to self-determination. We urge them to accept this compromise as a way to resolve the prevailing crisis in the former Empire, whilst not allowing Imperialist exploitation of these people

Failing this, Cedoria may be forced to consider supplying military aid directly to the Progressive Totalitarian forces resisting this illegal Imperialist occupation. Whilst we do not agree with their ideology in full, we find their system far more agreeable than that of right-wing Imperialism, as attempted by the Empire of Wangda..

Recently, joint government programs of Nanjing and Manila governments became much more cooperative and closer as the NNSC (Nanjing Nationalist Government of China) and the Philippine Republic and Its Indies signed the 2015 Memorandum of Agreement For Economic Cooperation and Free Trade or MOAFECFRET (pronounced: mo-wa-fek-fret) to solidify the exchange of investments between Nanjing and Filipino local and multinational companies and such formal agreements are helping both countries in maintaining their strong economies. Another mutual leaning the two mentioned countries are their contribution to Pan-Asiatic military protection, which came fruit by the last year's "Fourth Generation Warfare Conference: Sun Tzu and Today's Answer to Second Generation Firepower.", with the aim to exchange ideas and communicate with Nanjing's and Manila's military enthusiasts, analysts and strategists from both civilian and military sectors. The program was a success, with a record of 120,000 participants from all of Eurasian Quirinosphere and guests-of-honor from other Quirinospheres.

Yeung then saw a loophole of the Wangdai intervention, which is a possible reunification of the three states to counter it, but as a challenged-savored man as Yeung, he chose to call another foreigner with similarity of him and his compatriots. He sent a communique of personal writing to the Nanjing NGC proposing a friendship of the two nations, calling the letter "The Heeding Call of the White Lotus to the White Bright Sun".

Meanwhile in Nanjing, the National Assembly was in their daily work of recreating ties with their legislative counterparts and guests in the Session Hall, with representatives of foreign delegations from the Eurasian Quirinosphere Commonwealth Treaty, Asian neighbors, and the Great Quirinese Senate. There were efforts made by the Jiangwei government to ensue peace and at the same time, constitute unconventional war methods against Manjuguo, and some were quite heard a lot of times in the modern era, but not similar to what "terrorist countries" do. The deployed 19th Armored Infantry Brigade, 67th Regiment was one of the forces that took the city of Wonsan earlier this week, but it was not the whole of the bulwark that was forced to be organized in favor of a unified strike against the communist pigs in Manjuguo. The proposed 1st, 2nd and 3rd Armies of the National Reactionary Army of the Jiangwei Nationalist State (NRAJNS) will be the main standing ground forces as the Navy will me much easier to organize. Georgian (Caucasian) troops and military advisers helped the NRAJNS to organize the ground forces, while the NRANNG and the IWA lend armaments to the NRAJNS with discounted prices to assure both parties benefit with it in the long run. Government-owned military facilities started to be planned as complexes were prepared for constructions. Such hasty buildup of the military of Jiangwei is a clear sign of the resurgence of the nationalist effort in Wengxi domain. There are about 500,000 regulars being armed, trained and equipped by the parties involved for the country's safety from encroachment.

The Prime Minister Chang Lui Yu (or "Charlie Yu" in English) of the Cabinet will be sent to Nanjing, Mengjintang and Wangda to sign a cooperative treaty that covers financial, commercial, and industrial concerns, and environmental another. Yu will have a five-day state visit to the said countries and form a formal friendship betweent he states and assure that Jiangwei is widely recognized worldwide as a sovereign state. There were rumors that the diplomatic repute of Jiangwei can be escalated higher as the same level as Quirinese countries once the Nanjing and Jiangwei officials cross paths and shake hands, which can be a likely case as the first destination of the Prime Minister is in Nanjing.

Manjuguo

Jianjin, was the common nickname of the Progressive Socialist Party of Manjuguo. A left-wing party, which follows the successful, though radical leftist ideology hailing from the Unified Progressive Republic of Ardoki. Great Comrade Mu Yu,has led the organisation since its humble beginning just over a ywar ago. But now is leading it through its period of rapid expansion and growth. Jianjin intends to create a a Progressive Socialist state in Manjuguo, and liberate its people from the dangers of reactionaryism (aka rightism). Mu Yu is a close friend of Doctor Alastaire Moriarty (the President of the Unified Progressive Republic of Ardoki, and the General Secretary of the Progressive Socialist Labour Party of Ardoki), and has sworn Jianjin's loyalty to Ardoki and the Progressive Socialist movement.

Manjuguo was a divided country, ruled by multiple warlords, until Jianjin went after them, winning the hearts and minds of the people. At the present date, just over 60% of the people in Manjuguo support Jianjin, mainly in the urban areas. Jianjin's Progressive Socialist policies, such as the nationalisation of land and resources, the massive expansion of state trade unions into all sectors of the economy, the introduction of an expansive welfare state and a job guarantee system, free universal healthcare and education, along with enacting progressive social policies to improve the lives of the people, have been hugely successful in Jianjin controlled areas and have been responsible for Jianjin's high level of support.

Rural areas are not as friendly to the Progressive Socialists, as they are more conservative and uneducated than the progressive urban workers. They have been labelled as reactionaries, and Jianjin has declared its intent to "progressivise them for their own good, and society's". Jianjin at the present date, has just over 340 000 soldiers fighting for its cause, armed with weapons taken from the previous Wengxi government. While there are some other warlords still around in the country, Jianjin is by far the most powerful force in the land. They were mainly armed with Ak-74 assault rifles and Soviet-era RPGs.

Previously that day, Wangish military forces had infiltrated the border en-masse, and were conducting a full scale invasion, in a vicious attack against the progressive regime. Mu Yu, who was also the Generalissimo of the military, knew the Wangs couldn't be defeated in open conduct. So he put his defence plan into action. The vast majority of the population are concentrated in urban areas along the coastline, these urban areas would be defended to the last man or woman. They didn't have many tanks, however the ones they did were dug-in in the streets, ready to defend the Progressive Revolution from all those who went against it.

The War Council convened rarely, but this time a proxy war involving large continental powers was brewing right on the southeastern border of the nation. The council was now a necessity. The capital city of Equity was as calm as usual - largely because the totalitarian state machine was keeping everybody informed only of what was proper, the lives of the citizens were strictly managed according to the Nietzschean state ideology, and the Ministry of Domestic Order & Stability was patrolling the streets on an hourly basis.

The minimalistic, brightly-lit all-white assembly room of the Ministry of External Order where the War Council was being convened suddenly and quietly filled up with people. Their all-black uniforms carried minimal insignia, as the uniform design itself signified the rank and position of the officers; these here were Hypparchia's top brass. The men were stone-faced and entirely devoid of emotion - for them this was just a procedure to ensure the security of the nation.

One of the officers, Marshal Pavel Dubinin, switched on the 3D hologram display at the centre of the large, heavy table. The lights in the room suddenly decreased in intensity as a slowly rotating map of a state southeast of Hypparchia was projected before the officers. There was no protocol and no procedural discussions - all Hypparchian officials, civilian and military alike, were conditioned to perform their actions in a near-automated manner.

"The disturbances in neighboring Manjuguo have recently escalated. A self-styled "progressive" force named Jianjin was recently attacked by Wangish forces whose apparent aim is to cleanse the leftists from the area. Jianjin has received support from Ardoki; the Wangish troops are backed by SACTO nations so the campaign shouldn't be very long. However, Ardokian support seems to concentrate in urban areas which does seem to predict a fair degree of heavy fighting. We can't afford to have a refugee wave heading towards our borders, as the orders of the Grammaton Council on any kind of immigration are clear and strict.

The Grammaton Council has ordered all branches of the Stability apparatus to take the appropriate measures to secure key traffic points in Manjuguo and keep the civilian population in their place. A secondary goal would be to eliminate Jianjin forces whenever possible, though the bulk of combat against them is left to SACTO forces. We have no long-term objective in that area so this is our only task for the time being. Thorough mission objectives will be supplied to you through MILNET. End of briefing."

The display was switched off, Marshal Dubinin closed his folder and the officers left the room.

Hypparchian-Manjuguo border, 01:10 AM

Four divisions of the Hypparchian Armed Forces, three of them belonging to the 9th Corps of the Eastern Military District and one independent, reached the border with Manjuguo. The operation was spearheaded by 140th Tank Division, followed by the 103rd and 60th Mechanised Divisions and a smaller Airborne Division (201st).

The forces were all deployed along the border as preliminary intelligence was being gathered by several drones. Four ZALA 421-06 were surveying the area immediately south of the border for enemy troops or hostiles using infrared cameras, while two larger Mikoyan Skat UCAVs were flying deeper into Manjuguo territory and mapping key transportation nodes and infrastructure with an array of sensors.

Further up to the north, several Air Force bases were preparing aircraft to take off on air support or air superiority missions, should the need for such arise.

The news of the recent development in Manjuguo, a war torn country in the former Wengxi Empire did not come out as a surprise to Duke Auliad Renata, Chancellor of the Realm, and de facto Prime Minister to the Most Serene Empire of Aeyariss. Seeing the actions of his allies and their clients states dictating the moves right over there made him smiles. Of course, for someone like him, he took pride in his ability to foresee political events in other states, provided that he had enough information, after which all boil down to simple analytical skills, deduction. To get 'the big picture' as he had always said.

Anyway, that part of the world is embroiled in another political turmoil and armed conflict. Again. How many times in recent years has it already? The Chancellor had lost count, but decided that it had been far too much, and decided that perhaps it is time to end the conflict over the for good. Well what better chance for the Empire to parade its military might and economic prowess other than to assist SACTO allies already engulfed in that region? Thinking about that made him chuckled.

Decision, decision. It's good to be the No.1 man in the Empire and the head of the Imperial Advisory Committee. His Majesty, Emperor Raizen dai Shivariii, the God Emperor wouldn't object to his decision - after all Renata had trained and taught everything the Emperor knew - and his majesty did ordered him to govern all foreign and domestic matters to the old Duke, and the young Emperor should be left to his own device, studying the ancient secret achieving higher spiritual experience - or whatever the Emperor is doing in his study in the Mountain Temple now. Of course, he will need to have a plan to present to the Emperor before he can commit the entire resources of the Empire for some foreign military expedition. If things didn't turn out as it should be - meaning with favourable results for the Empire - he could invoke the wrath of the God Emperor and lose everything.

With that, he made a personal decision to allow his country into another battleground. But Aeyariss is in no hurry to send her young boys and men into harms way, the rest of the barbarian outside of the Middle Realm can do the killing for now and the First Empire will only enter the fray as it see fit. Looking on his watch, it was almost tea break now, he decided to call his son, Edward Renata, one of the Colonel in the Ministry of Defense to come over for tea with him.

Auliad Renata arrived at the outskirt of the Mountain Temple before sunset, and managed to hike the 1,400 meter high staircase practically on his own while his protection details followed not too far from his back. The hike to the top of the mountain wasn't easy, and he silently suffered as the hike took its toll on his 50 years old body, and he began cursing the damn bastards who made such a staircase and those who put a strict tradition to disallow modernization - they could easily build a helipad up on top!

Home of the one of the most ancient military order in the region, it is now one of the Emperor's favourite residency, as Raizen dai Shivariii, only 25 years of age, had been staying in the mountain for over a year now, training with members of the White Dragon Knights, practicing the ancient path which combined Buddhism, Taoism and a more darker arts he dare not think about, all in the purpose of achieving a high sense of awareness, enlightenment and a state of zen inner peace, or whatever it was.

When he arrived, one of the ancient looking high priestess greeted him.

"Master Auliad. Welcome again. His Majesty had been expecting you." Master Shinrana said to him.

"My Lady." Auliad smiled, then he was led to where the Emperor was mediating.

The meeting started as it usually started, with the two exchanging salutations, a little bit of small talk...then when it comes to business, they usually conduct it while drinking Aeyarissan tea.

"Your Majesty, I have in mind to ask permission from you to send our peacemaker troops to East Asia. Our SACTO allies are currently engaged with a local conflict over there, and this does affect our national interests. Have I your permission to send troops?"

"Manjuguo? I am aware of the recent development there Lord Chancellor. But are you sure this is the best time to commit our country to another foreign expedition?"

"Your Majesty, I can assure you, stopping communism over there will bring so much more benefits to our Empire. Besides the people of that divided land are suffering because of lawlessness and lack of order. SACTO, and Aeyariss can put an end to all that and restore balance. Have I your permission to try?"

"Very well, but keep me informed Lord Chancellor. Although I find it unnecessary for our young men to be sent into harms way, but I fear that you are right, Aeyariss had been blessed with lots of wealth and peace, it's time we assist others to achieve the same." Raizen said.

Auliad Renata smirked, sipping the content of his cup once more. And with that, everything is according to his plan.

The operation was on go. It became pretty obvious that the Ardokian proxies entrenched themselves in Urban areas, while leaving the central plains to the Wangish assault. Advancing Wangish military was moving fast, to disallow the Jianjin government's troops to form any successful defence line. The tanks rolled like a steel beasts, indigenous Type 87 Ke - To, advancing unstoppable and without mercy. In short time 4th Tank Army rolled into central plains, hoping to destroy any resistance met by the tank formations. Knowing that Ardokian proxies were grouped mostly in coastal area, which was heavily urbanized, General Matsushita Takuya planned what the historians would later call Takuya manoeuvre. His plan was to ccut through the middle of the county where Wangish military had biggest strength utilizing their mechanized forces. Then, they would encircle coastal plain and separate it from the rest. Finally, through combination of artillery fire and well planed assaults, cleanse the cities one by one. With consultation of Mengjingang forces which also invaded the county they had more than 900 thousand men in the county attacking the enemy. All of them trained by Wangish advisor and well prepared for coming campaign.

First action that would be taken by the Wangish/Mengjingang militaries was to successfully weaken the Ardokian - supported proxy forces, so they will have serious troubles while attacking the Wangish spearhead in the plains. The operation was simple and well planned; and would not require much of thought. The 2nd Combined Arms Army, numbering over 120 000 personnel supported by four Mengjingang divisions was to attack Yunqing city, which had over 100 000 inhabitants. Yuqing was major communications hub in this area, and was crucial for leading of this operation, what is why the operation to clean it from progressive socialist forces happened. Wangish forces were divided - as tradition ordered - into two echelons. First echelon, composed of three mechanized, one tank divisions and one air mobile brigade had to bypass the city using the steppes as place where Ardokian proxies would lack cover, and thus be destroyed by pure fire power of Imperial Wangdish Army. At the same time as the city was bypassed, the 2nd Mechanized Division would form roadblocks on all major road, as well as protect the flanks (X in O on the map). The roadblocks were quickly set and fortified by military engineer formations which came with them.

At the same time, sound of helicopters was filling the air behind the city as the airmobile brigade flew around the city, outside range of SHORADS and MANPADS stationed there. The purpose of the airmobile unit was to link with the tank element and block withdrawal routes, thus disallowing the socialists to move out of the city. When the helicopters landed soldiers quickly left them, then forming the elements around, finally re-assembling and forming the perimeter on the road, waiting for tanks to arrive. They would wait here, until the tank division arrives and helps them move into the city. For now on, they were waiting for eventual counter-attack. Positions were set, using mobile mortars and HMGs in case if progressive socialists dared to show up.

The second echelon at that time was divided. One Mengjingang motor infantry division had to move through the major highway into the city to size the highway and secure it for future assaults. Their target would be also huge city square (tianamen) in the middle of the state. Using the fact that division had attached tank regiment, it should be easy considering devastating power of tanks which had pretty open terrain here. The attack was carried from march, but was preceded by careful recoanissance by armoured recon battalion. The tanks and mechanized formations advanced like a tip of the arrow, to finish the Jianwei forces located there.

Finally the remaining three divisions were to launch a "reconnaissance by battle", as the probing attacks to determine Jianwei government positions and allow later to destroy them. This was done (in point 2) by enormous attack using V-shaped battle array, followed by another two waves. Such wave attack was characteristic for Mengjingang military. It was preceded by huge artillery fire from division attached artillery units, and then the Mengjingang attacked, launching an offensive to determine enemy positions and destroy them.

Everything was to be done under cover of Imperial Wangish Naval Air Arm, which was operating from carrier nearby. To support operations was also launched EW campaign using the famous "Compass call" to jam Jianwei communications devices.

Yunqing City, Manjuguo

Yunqing City had been controlled by the Progressive Socialist Party of Manjuguo (Jianjin) for almost 9 months now, and the party had begun indoctrinating the inhabitants in Progressive Socialism. With a population of over 100 000, the city was controlled by just over 30 000 Jianjin soldiers. However, 10 000 civilians had joined Jianjin in the defence of their city from the rightist hordes of reactionaryism. The city, being a site of great strategic importance and the obvious first target for an attack, was held by the 9th and 11th Guards Infantry Divisions, elites in the Jianjin force. The Jianjin and civilian forces were armed with the deadly and reliable AK-74 assault rifle.

The Progressive Socialist forces had only a limited amount of old tanks at their disposal, about 53, however had them dug-in at vital choke-points and hidden in buildings, to wreck havoc upon the enemy. Anti-tank and anti-personnel mines had been laid, to maim or kill any unsuspecting enemies who may overpass them, while hundreds of snipers were positioned across the city. None of the civilians living in the city were allowed to leave, as they would serve as good shields against enemy bombardments of the city, however in case of a bombardment the soldiers could use the numerous basements in the city buildings for cover. 9K38 Igla MANPADS were available should any enemy helicopters or low-flying aircraft enter the city, while RPG-29s were available to give any tank incursions a deadly greeting.

Yunqing City covered an area of about 56 square kilometres, and Progressive Socialist forces had been concentrated in the inner highly-urbanised/built up areas, so as to give them more protection from attack. General Shun Ng, commanded the forces within the city, however was accompanied by the Ardokian advisor Colonel Conn Slane, a retired commander of the National Ardokian Ground Forces and a man who volunteered to assist the Jianjin allies of progressivism. It was expected the Wangish opponent would attack the city from all sides and try to dislodge the Jianjin, however the Jianjin would not run away like cowards. They will inflict as much casualties upon the enemy as possible.

The utmost unwelcome guests....

They have been travelling for a few weeks without end on the open seas, but the men were tireless and were quite eager for action. Their final destination was only a few minutes away, the port city of Xuankecheng-hma, the center of the Ta-Hue resistance movement who were fighting the occupation forces. The resistance movement influenced by mixed convist and conserative republican ideals.
The men were listening to the radio; We are getting reports from the coast guard of a reporting situation on harbor front, we have a lot of unmarked container ships approaching & they are refusing to identify themselves thus far. Light police presence is situated on the harbour to make sure that in case this ship is full of illegal products meant for Manjuguo...

Lieutenant Klaus van Stucken closed the civilian radio as boredom was taking over the better of him. Klaus was one man of a huge, dynamic complex, charge for operation in order to take the first strike. "Hunter Actual, this is Hunter 3-2. We are ready, three hundred meters from my current position, over." He radioed, clicking a small button on his radio that would denote it on a challenged frequency. This would allow him to maintain his position without giving it away on any spying airwave listeners - as if there any of them...

"Hunter 3-2, good job. You have control of an AC-130 Big Brother, it's on route to the "party" to give "presents" to the welcome ceremony. Do not waste it's fuel, we're giving it you. Start lazing those targets, break". A low voice had radioed over. He was probably in a submarine, somwhere, shouting orders out like there was no tommorrow. Well, in their minds, there would be no tommorrow... but not for them but to those who were awating them into the port. Klaus shifted on his weight, taking through another look with his binoculars. The platoon were slowly preparing themselves for the strike.

He quickly switched on the AN/PEQ-2, and aimed down at a target, roughly in the middle. "Hunter 3-2, target lased. As soon as you fire the fuckers out of the park, I'm on my way out to meet up with them face to face, over." He radioed, and then watched as the AC-130 was passing high above them, the police officers saw it as well with both awe and fear could be seen to their expressions. Big Brother as the AC-130 was called, made half a circle around the city and then a ensuing fire of heavy, thirty millimeter rounds rained from the sky. The sound of bombing was echoed throught the city while you could hear the screams around the city, especially from those of the occupation forces.
The police started lost their interests to the cargo ships as it was foreseen while they gazed the bombed city, a completly unexpected attack from a unknown...for now.

Klaus smiled as the occupation forces and the police collaborators started to run towards the bombing site, the opportunity was right as they were wating for one word- Attack."Hunter 3-2 to Hunter 3-1 & Hunter 3-3, Attack". He radioed, then a dozen men from the container ships with RPG-32S on their hands shot to the police vehicles and blew them while at the same time a few Mi-24's started to ascend into the air which started to shoot the coast guard and the police. Steadily as more Mi-24's started to ascend from the container ships and entered the city itself to rasie havoc. For this completly suprised attack they will be talking about it for the days to come and certainly will be written to the history books. The Stάat Vόlks Armee will be feared throught the world once again as it was during WW1. The allied occupation forces won't know who attacks them for now, when they do eventually it will be too late for them. Klaus had planned this entire operation himself and that's right his was given the charge. The ship's gate descended and then Feurig 2 MBT's alongside with BMP-3's rolled out, starting to shoot to the enemy forces. A single battalion had schocked entire regiments of enemy occupation forces and their collaborators who were running around and getting shot. Slakonians were lucky as those who left to guard the city were the push-overs and inexperienced personnel to guard their rear of their invasion force.

This invasion will be Klaus legacy, the SVA's legacy for the years to come - a dream come true - as he started to descend as well from the ship as well he watched the skies and saw other AC-130's to make half circles as well and bombing the city with deadly effeciency, why? Becasue the enemy was literally everywhere not because they were accurate as they didn't bothered to be. His staff approached quickly approached who were in full uniform. Gunpowder and burned bodies could be scent from miles away, he turned to them."The vultures have been fed & the region, nay the world itself will see our might. Now... clear the skies". Then a Flakpanzer started to shoot on the two helicopers which were on sky at the moment, first the police helicopter went down and then the news crew followed them to the sea.

SVA troops had broken loose and easily taken over the port while the AC-130's were bombing into the city or to the sububrs to prevent reinfosemnts and supplies going in or out so that they can disorganize their enemy. Sergeant Viktor Neumann was leading his squad against an enemy platoon that held a half consturcted burger shops, but they surely they weren't interested to take their burgers. The men were almost pinned down, and a enemy tank caem out of nowhere, the first to be seens after many hours of intense fighting, but then 3 Slakonian Fuerig 2MBT's shoot on it first while a Mi-24 cleared out the enemy infantry. Lieutenant Klaus could be heared from the radio. "They thought they could bully us into submission but today we showed them that the SVA bows to no one..." and they started once again the exchanging messages for this statement. Viktor entered the burger shop,there was nothing that bullet holes, bullets, smoke and filth from the blood that was running aflood around the burger shop, Viktor knew that such burgershop wouldn't be liked by health administators or the public itself back home. Despite being convists they were realists as well, and religious, Viktor gave some rites to these dead men while his squad was looking around for any survivors. A soldier shouted as he was yelling that he found something... he did. A room whole of dead civies, in a perfect line which meant they were shot by firing squad. But these civilians were mostly women or young men with a caption above Death to the Ta-Hue traitors and their bitches... the rest was unreadle due to the blood on the wall.

Viktor started to get sick and so he decided to go out, despite being only a few hours when the attack begun, they could hear the gunshots being several blocks away which emans they had to catch up. Viktor looked to the sky, and he saw.... a dozen planes throwing paratroopers alongside with tanks and supplies throught the eastern parts of the city whcih were nearer to the port itself. Ta-Hue will better thank them for starting an invasion that soon anyone will know.

Usually whenever the Imperial Armed Forces deploys its troops for some foreign military expedition, a small, pioneer team would be send in first to probe, make initial contact with the local liaison officers or officials, and to gain intelligence to secure a staging ground. When everything is in order, then the pioneer team would make all the necessary preparation and hail the motherland, where upon final deliberation a final mobilization order will be given out and the Imperial Air Force strategic airlift command or the Navy strategic sealift armada will then begin transporting the main bulk of the Aeyariss forces in several waves. Now, here in the East Asian country of Menjigang Lieutenant Colonel Roarke Varaii and his small team of 'planners' are conducting one of those missions.

The colonel and his small team of 24 planners – all senior strategic planning officers from the various imperial armed services – plus their entourage of a fully reinforced Imperial Marines 120 man strong company led by Major Sanzao Jyuren, had arrived less than 24 hours ago but already those men were busy in obtaining all the information that they can. Their Menjigang local liaison, a man of small stature by the name of Chuang Shi, but nevertheless had shown to have received the respect of his men, had been assigned to them by the interim government to assist in their preparation. Chuang Shi, a Colonel, had been particularly helpful to Colonel Roarke. Gathering updated intelligence on the AO, learning about the terrain, the current battlefield situation.

So far, the pioneer team had managed to arrange for a special area planned as Aeyariss staging zone. It was wide enough for them to field a full division size formation in the coming weeks. The exact location is of course classified to maintain high level of OPSEC. Well, for now most of the operation plannings are known to Chuang Shi and Roarke. If this man is trustworthy there shouldn't be any trouble. If not, well...it will be one hell of a fight for the pioneer team which was not suppose to be engaged in any combat or firefight. Not at this moment, not while they are practically all alone several thousand miles away from home. Even the Imperial Navy carrier strike force is still half a sea apart at this moment.

Putting that concern aside, the pioneer team also discussed plans on securing flight path into the country. Roarke main concern here is the enemy capacity to threaten any incoming flights, and the security surrounding his assembly areas while the whole expedition force is being assembled. Well, he needs to request additional advance guard force when the bulk of the main forces begin arriving soon, or he can request the local support once he determine their exact situation & their reliability. The colonel had his junior officer on the team, one of the young Captain from the Army, to compile their initial findings, and had them uploaded back to their HQ servers in White Rose, the Imperial War Ministry complex back in Aeyariss. There the operational planners will go through them one by one, and follow up with their initial plan, then send back new set of orders to Roarke in the former Wengxi Empire.

The next thing for Roarke and his team is to establish a joint communication with the rest of the SACTO friendly and allies already operating in the area. That shouldn't be too hard for him but still he must remain alert and careful. Planning, planning and then more plannings. Well, once the surge is conducted, Roarke will be pulled out of the country and return to White Rose to continue assisting in operational control there. Maybe after the war here is concluded he might be able to get the final rank before the first star on the epaulette. Maybe. Well, the first he needs to do is to ensure his Empire gets a decent head start when the shooting war involving his country started soon.

The young Captain who uploaded his report packages via satellites reported to him, marking the end of today's mission for them. Tomorrow they will began looking and studying their area of operation on the ground and prepare the much needed data for the war planner back at home. This too isn't exactly a hard task for them, their state of the art computers which they brought along with them had been installed with Aeyariss homegrown battlefield management systems, a software which can assist battlefield commanders in identifying the key terrain, vital grounds, calculating all possible avenues and the more complicated military appreciation process.

Meanwhile back at home, the Imperial Armed Forces had received their fragmented order for immediate operations. For the Air Force, orders are mostly given out to the various heavy lifter squadron - which made up the main force of Aeyariss combined strategic airlift capabilities, and other logistical chain unit. The navy too will soon mobilized two full combat fleet into the Pacific. However, both the army and marines are still duking against one another, causing headache to the war planners in White Rose, both service wants the glory to themselves and were unable to reach the final decision...well never mind, it will take some more weeks before the full might of Aeyariss Imperial Armed Forces to see combat in Manjuguo.

The five baggage were meant to suffice the clothing needs and packs of things Yu will need for his entourage to Nanjing. Arriving at the airport right in the clock's tick, Charlie Yu entered the airport, got his files processed and his staff and entourage checked, and went aboard to Flight 550A2 of the Jiangwei Air Imperial. Seated at the first class, Yu was as calm and as silent as he is. He never speak much words, except when calling flight attendants to his cabin and most of the time, meditate in there alone. A renowned Buddhist and a strict personality, he calmly prays and clears his mind, as always. After twenty-four hours, the flight will land to Sun Yat-Sen International Air Harbor in China-Nanjing.

Physically-buffed, hardened, and fast -- these three words were attributed to the regulars of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Armies of the Jiangwei National Reactionary Army in response to the further militarization efforts of its neighbors and its increasing need of security in the midst of the destruction of Manjuguo. Nonetheless, these same men will be sent to war later on, but nobody except the Command knows when and where. Practicing much self-dependence and higher level of survivability, their training can be considered as harsh as the extremes of everything, but it will be seen only in combat. Their determination with a single task is imbued to each of them: to live. One time, two soldiers went to a betting brawl as pastime. One of which kicked his opponent in the balls, but he never minded it as if never felt, and continued to grasp his opponent's arms, tangled it and choked him to last, admitting defeat through submission.

Equipment from Japan, China-Nanjing, and some from "nationalist sponsors" from various "figures' were arriving slowly in all avenues: land, air and sea. The SWAMPER or "Special Weapons Assault and Multi-Purpose Enhanced Rifle" was the common, along with lots of sidearms and ATGMs, including Konkurs, Kornets and Metis-M. Armored vehicles such as Oplot-M and Rogatka tanks were also present in the military hash, with other Soviet-inspired armaments, such as KR-103s (AK-103) and SOARs. Mostly of the hash were either Quirinese Arenalium-tagged or indigenous-produced ones. Nonetheless, these will help the NRAJNS hastily and readily be armed.

The First Army Air Corps will be the aerospace arm of the NRA in its role to support combat troops, initiate heavy strikes on strategic locations and amass an airforce capable of being "a thousand legions of steel chariots in the skies". It is expected that 345 aircraft will be firsthand lend from the Nanjing and Quirinese arsenals, and will be paid after a signed contract will be expired.

The First Fleet of the proposed Jiangwei Naval Guard will be also armed with Quirinese-built ships as extension of friendship between Nihon and few Quirinese states. Such share of power projection is enough to say that the NRAJNS-JNV will be much more of a defense perimeter than a number power. As military and naval experts residing in Jiangwei and few visitors from Nanjing suggests, the navy will be third to be prioritized and able to resist any opposing stand-off if needed, as such roles will be fit for the equipment lent to them. So far, there are no details regarding what ship classes will be expected for the JNV to utilize.

Chancellor Eaglebrand sat at the head of the large at table that seemed to be getting so much use in recent months and listened to his generals go back and forth about the situation in Manjuguo. The Confederacy currently had a vested interest in the stability of the orient, with it's last remaining overseas colony of Liu Na not too far from the current battlefield and one of the nation's largest overseas bases in Japanese Dystopia likely to be effected should the situation continue to deteriorate. Still, however, the pains of the campaign in Sampeng back in the 60's, the very campaign that would eventually pull the former Empire apart at the seams, continued to be felt during the discussion. There was so much similarity between this and Sampeng. The need to stop the spread of socialism, the deployment to the orient of good soldiers who wanted nothing to do with the war, and a government on the brink of over extension. Finally, a decision was made. The Confederate government would not deploy any ground forces in a conventional sense. Instead, special forces personnel and advisers would be deployed, as would air and naval assets already in the area, but no more than this. The Confederacy would work to the best of her abilities to support friendly nations in the area, but simply could not risk another Sampeng, not with so much already going on in the home region itself.

"Inform the government of New Aeyariss" the Chancellor announced. "The Confederacy is coming to their assistance....and I suppose we ad best call a press conference"

A half hour later, the Chancellor appeared on the television screens of the Blackhelm Confederacy once again, much as he had previously when he informed the nation of his commitment to bring about a resolution to the crisis in Ala Moana, a crisis which was still raging on and costing Confederate lives. The people of the Confederacy held their breath as the old man spoke.

"My fellow Confederates, I come to you tonight to inform you of a troubling development, one that requires Confederate assistance in far off parts of the world. I have come here to review once again with my own people the views of the Blackhelm Confederate Government.

Tonight, I have made a difficult decision to deploy Confederate special operations personnel, sailors, and airmen to the orient, to a nation where innocents are dying daily to bring about a world where each people may choose its own path to change. This is the very principle for which our ancestors fought in the jungles around Paradise City some two thousand years ago, and have continued to fight for since those founding moments. It is the principle for which our sons fight tonight on the plains of Manjuguo.

Manjuguo and the other nations that formerly comprised the Empire of Wengxi are far away from this quiet land we call home. We have no territory there, nor do we seek any. The war is dirty and brutal and difficult. Already, many have died, and for the last decade anarchy has been the norm. Why must we take this painful road? Why must this nation hazard its ease, and its interest, and its power for the sake of a people so far away?

We fight because we must fight if we are to live in a world where every country can shape its own destiny. And only in such a world will our own freedom be finally secure. This kind of world will never be built by bombs or bullets. Yet the infirmities of man are such that force must often precede reason, and the waste of war, the works of peace. We wish that this were not so. But we must deal with the world as it is, if it is ever to be as we wish.

The world as it is for the people of the former Empire of Wengxi is not a serene or peaceful place. The first reality is that Manjuguo has fallen under the sway of a nation known as Ardoki, a nation known for its abuses of civilians and innocents. The people of Manjuguo are under attack by their own government, and trained men and supplies, orders and arms, flow in a constant stream from Ardoki to the east. This support is the heartbeat of the current government here, known as the Jianjin. As a result of this conflict, simple farmers are the targets of assassination and kidnapping. Women and children are strangled in the night because their men are loyal to their government. And helpless villages are ravaged by sneak attacks. Large-scale raids are conducted on towns, and terror strikes in the heart of cities.

But now many of you may ask yourselves, why are these realities our concern? Why are we sending men to this far flung portion of the world ?

The answer is simple. We are there to strengthen world order. Around the globe, are people whose well-being rests, in part, on the belief that they can count on us if they are attacked. To leave Manjuguo to its fate would shake the confidence of all these people in the value of a Confederate commitment and in the value of the Blackhelm Confederacy's word. The result would be increased unrest and instability, and even wider war as the Jianjin inevitably set their sights on their neighbors. We are also there because there are great stakes in the balance. Let no one think for a moment that retreat from this struggle would bring an end to conflict. The battle would be renewed in one country and then another. The central lesson of our time is that the appetite of aggression is never satisfied. To withdraw from one battlefield means only to prepare for the next. We must say in this fight--in the words of the Bible: "Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further."

There are those who wonder why we have a responsibility there. Well, we have it there for the same reason that we have a responsibility for the defense of Hesperidesia and our allies here in Astyria. We have a continued responsibility for the defense of freedom. Our objective is the independence of Manjuguo from the controls of Ardoki and its freedom from attack, be it by a foreign power or by its own corrupt government. We want nothing for ourselves--only that the people of Manjuguo be allowed to guide their own country in their own way. We will do everything necessary to reach that objective. And we will do only what is absolutely necessary. And as such, air attacks are being authorized at this very moment against government positions in Manjuguo, strikinh the first blows against the tyranny that so reigns over the people there.

We do this to increase the confidence of the brave people of Manjuguo who have bravely borne this brutal battle with so many casualties. And we do this to convince the leaders of Ardoki--and all who seek to share their conquest--of a very simple fact: We will not be defeated. We will not grow tired. We will not withdraw, either openly or under the cloak of a meaningless agreement. We know that air attacks alone will not accomplish all of these purposes. But it is our best and prayerful judgment that they are a necessary part of the surest road to peace.

We hope that peace will come swiftly. But that is in the hands of others besides ourselves. And we must be prepared for a long continued conflict. It will require patience as well as bravery, the will to endure as well as the will to resist. I wish it were possible to convince others with words of what we now find it necessary to say with guns and planes: Armed hostility is futile. Our resources are equal to any challenge. Because we fight for values and we fight for principles, rather than territory or colonies, our patience and our determination are unending. Once this is clear, then it should also be clear that the only path for reasonable men is the path of peaceful settlement.

Such peace demands an independent Manjuguo --securely guaranteed and able to shape its own relationships to all others--free from outside interference--tied to no alliance--a military base for no other country. These are the essentials of any final settlement. We will never be second in the search for such a peaceful settlement in this area.

And until that bright and necessary day of peace we will try to keep conflict from spreading. We have no desire to see thousands die in battle--Asians or Astyrians. The Chancellor, for his part, took a long drink of water from a glass on his desk before he looked to his aid. "Valeria..." he said weakly. "I don't know how many more places this nation can fight at once"

A number of Venatores, members of the most elite of the Blackhelm Confederacy's special operations group, stood on the runway. A hundred and fifty men in all, these men were all being prepared to journey to the virtually failed state of Mengjingang and attempt to create something in the way of a decent army there. Also on the runway stood the red beret wearing advisers from the Confederate Imperial Guard, men whose authority circumvented the Senate and reported directly to the Chancellor himself. And finally, the third group of men, members of the Confederate Intelligence Service, or CIS. Both intelligence agents as well as CIS paramilitary personnel were awaiting their deployment to the hot zone, where they too would assist the friendly forces in the area to the best of their abilities. While these men all began to pile into their respective transport aircraft and make their way to their final destinations, the beginning of the Confederate combat mission would begin.

The massive frames of a half dozen Tu-160 supersonic bombers began rolling down the runways beneath the peaceful Liu Nese night sky. Small light illuminated the runways as air traffic controllers gave the bombers their orders to take off, and one by one bright bursts of flames tore from the rear of each plane, sending them rocketing down the tarmac before they finally lifted off, soaring up into the skies and then banking gently to make their way towards their newest targets. These bombers were not meant to make a major difference in the war effort, but instead they were meant to convey a message. The Blackhelm Confederacy was now committed to the conflict, and the tides were about to turn decisively against the socialist forces that were now running rampant throughout the land.

the final portion of the Confederate contribution to the war efforts here wee now also about to make their way to the warzone. The Farbanti class aircraft carrier Fitzgerald and her escort group slipped from their births under the cover of night, no fanfare, no marching bands, none of what would usually accompany a ship leaving for a combat zone. No, this was different. These men were going to fight a war the government did not want to make the front pages. It was a conflict that, while everyone would know it was happening, nobody really wanted to think about. The similarities to the past were simply too strong. And so they sailed, off into the darkness in the direction of Manjuguo, 56 planes and a number of missiles all ready to provide whatever fire support was needed by the friends and allies on the ground.

"Is Jiangwei willing to cease its ties with the Imperial Nihon as a protectorate and be independent part of the Quirinese influence, with the amount of support shown by the GQR?" "What's your reaction to the further militarization of both sides in the pro- and anti-Jianjin government forces in Manjuguo? I heard some Jiangwei brigades partook in the invasion in Wosan." "Does Jiangwei have plans to assimilate Mengjingtang peacefully or in arms if needed?" "What do you think will be the outcome of the Jiangwei-Mengjingtang affairs? Do you consider Jianjin a legitimate government in Manjuguo?" All these were unanswered as the Yu went inside his SUV surrounded with his guards that were fending off lots of mediamen and cameras taking him photos.

After few hours of not knowing where the Prime Minister Yu was and where he stayed, probably in the Jiangwei embassy, which has opened its complex only for limited government officials since yesterday, he again shows up with his convoy going to the Presidential Residence in Nanjing. It was surprise to the Nanjing officials that the Jiangwei government itself went there with no arranged meeting with the Presidency. It was a good chance that the Presient Ma Yi-jeung was not that busy and his lax time became occupied by accommodating the Jiangwei guest of honor. Tables were readied, the flags of Jiangwei and Nanjing were hoisted in the Residence, and the mediamen started to get their places in the tables. The press asked the same questions, which Yu answered well.

"Jiangwei is still looking forward for the future of both nations in this new and surprised relations."
"For now, we are contemplating to remain in the arms of our Nihon brethren, as we owe to them the protection we still enjoy as a sovereign state."
"Our military is always ready, and as simple as that, I verily assure it."
"Such plan is a rumor unfounded. We can recognize Mengjingtang anytime, but our government is not inclined giving any opinion in a state without any further recognition from other major powers in Hu."
"The affairs between our government and Mengjingtang's are rather silent, and Jianjin is not a government, but a movement but we don't consider them a state as the former government of Manjuguo made nothing but mess."

After answering the press' questions, the program proceeded with the signing of military contract and lend-lease agreement between Jianwei and China-Nanjing. Jianwei diplomats released sets of the treaty called the "Jiangwei-Nanjing Accords", that is a full-scale multi-lateral treaty, covering commerce, diplomacy, military, politics and social ties with the Nanjing government. Knowing the consequences, the treaty was still signed by the Nanjing government despite being an unconstitutional move. Good thing there were National Assembly representatives that witnessed and sent their approval to the President to sign it. Though seemed forced, President Ma signed his signature in the treaty and smiled with the Jiangwei counterparts and made sure a dialogue between him and the Jiangwei statesmen and ambassadors will be made after. Nanjing Chinese organizers went backstage and assorted the program flow, despite being arranged by Jiangwei organizers. The President was now made to speak first, instead of the Prime Minister Yu. As such, President Ma went to the podium, while Minister Yu being surprised.

"Gentlemen, it is an honor to have our Jiangwei delegates and even the Prime Minister of their newly-founded country to be with us today. Although this is truly a surprise that such motive being brought to us are verily friendly, still, their premise of coming here to our country is a step forward and an advantage. Knowing that for a century, China-Nanjing is the forerunner of East Asian nationalism in the Eurasian Quirinosphere, and it is my gladness that our nationalism paved way for the imperialist Wengxi government to utterly decline. Like us, the Koumintang of the Jiangwei government spearheaded the further independence with the rightful and measurable price. After the speech of President Ma, the Prime Minister Yu spoke to the podium thanking the Nanjing government for accepting them, disregarding the unscheduled meeting with them, but still managed to organize a formal event. After a night dinner with the Nanjing officials in the Commemorative Palace in Taipei, the Jiangwei prime minister Yu went back to Nanjing Int'l Air Harbor along with his large entourage to fly to Ishikawa and meet the Emperor of Dai Nihon and the Shogun Maki Kojiro in person.

For few months of preparation and hardcore training, the National Reactionary Army has now its claw shining sharp. With blank emotion, Zhouqiang salutes his troops as they pass the stage and saluted him. Swords were hoisted low, rifles were brandished, and their right-hand salute were give\n to him and the flag. The First to Third Armies were now shown in public for the first time as there were doubts from the rumors of the Jiangwei government's lack of response to the conflict up north.

Foreign contingents were also present, such as the Nanjing captains and non-commissioned officers in their naval dress uniforms who volunteered to initiate naval activities for the safety and security of naval assets of Jiangwei, Yugoslavian military majors and lietenants who also joined the parade aboard their ground command vehicles to help Jiangwei lay their strategic importance platforms, and the Georgian ground forces regiments that partake in the trainings and preparations to strap the NRAJNS up to a level of a state-sponsored quadrigenerational army.
