The Empire of Ascenon accepts the USU and the Anacove States into the Alliance along with accepting the headquarters be located at the Orbital Elevator. Ascenon wishes to be the main military force of this alliance and is willing to provide military assistance to the two nations should the need arise.
OOC: How about the Terran Federation?

Anacove will throw our gargantuan economy behind the alliance and our troops will help we also have my space elevator located in Anacove City

I'm thinking about one of the terraforming probes running into an alien scout. The alien could be humanoid but blue, with big teeth and like human meat.

The USU is also suggesting a space fleet, for purely exploration purposes, be built by the new alliance. The USU is also in the process of planning the construction of two more orbital elevators.

OOC: Too star trek I think (not that thats a problem), Allied Nations of Earth (ANE) maybe? Just throwing stuff out there. And IDK verdict is out on that ATM, ill keep you guys guessing! Lets get the alliance and the system built up before the alien encounter first

The Empire agrees with the suggestion for the exploration fleet but would also like to suggest a defence fleet be constructed.

While the Union sees the need for a defensive fleet, for now we oppose it, due to the fact that expanding militarily into space may be seen as a hostile move toward non-ANE nations. We will be more then happy to review different design options, but for now no military specific vessels will be constructed..

Breaking News. The Ascenon Naval Science Commission announces the testing of the hydrogen-energy convertor. While not much is known at the moment, our private sources have revealed that the device is capable of converting a ten gallons of Hydrogen into an estimated fifty megatons of energy. There's talk of using this fuel system as means to power any future space vessels that the Empire creates should this test succeed.

These 12 colonies have a total population of 10,000 and several more are being planned for construction in multiple other areas. The USU is also asking other nations to participate in what it is calling the Terra Nova initiative in which the ANE will establish colonial footholds on other celestial bodies such as the Moon, Mars, and Asteroids. the USU 1st fleet will be the driving force in this endeavor and will transport all colonist and materials to their set locations.

Construction on a Union colony, Ares has also begun. Expected population is 100,000 by next year upon completion. An orbital station is also being built to supply the planet with materials from earth.

Due to the expansion of the ANE's territory the ANE has decided that a second fleet be built. This fleet will combine all technology from allied nations and put it into one vessel, creating the most advanced fleet in Allied space. Vessel designs are being submitted and looked over.
