Anyway, I’ve read through bits of the old RP, and if you guys don’t mind, i’ll hop in. And as for the canon (the behind-story?) just assume that my nation has undergone significant political changes, violence and a massive drop in its economy (I don’t get the above ratings?) so all the super seemingly OP stuff I had before had never existed. Given that our forces were deployed in the last RP, can they still be there, or will I have to redeploy? Also, would we still be operating out of the airport (Oksbyre Int’l)? If this is supposed to be two years later, would we have been given, or allowed to construct, an airbase to fly out of.

There are two AFBs that were constructed in the past two years totalling some #ECL 1,726,000,000 ($2,381,880,000 NSD). One was near Frunert called AFB Guardian and the other one is near Cerfasburg called AFB Rosebush. Uhm in terms of your forces they can be deployed on the DMZ-style border. Since Kamik was a relatively new city, that's why the KDR was able to storm the border easily. But yes, you can have some forces deployed there (< 1,000 preferably please).

Oh in that case then 1 Air Squadron + maintenance crews is the maximum. You can choose where and they will be experienced since they would have been involved in the counter-insurgent operations.

I don't think it would result in an insta-win, but it might be prudent to wait for one more OPFOR guy. Question is, should the BLUFOR side be closed to newcomers to achieve a balance?

Those would be the more "active" squadrons either patrolling the boarder (in the case of the fighters) or carrying out regular bombing runs over the PRK. If I still have access to Oksbyre International, by this time (two years) it would most likely serve as SAC's theater HQ and hold the "overflow" aircraft that haven't been assigned a base closer to the front.

Oksbyre International has been strictly confined to civilian duties until extremely desperate times. You can occupy municipal airports however.
