Vvarden Agrees To Peace Agreement, Happy To Prevent War

After a few minor skirmishes and much hysteria in the Vvardeni Government, The Grand Duchy has offered a peace agreement which goes as follows:

1) Recognise the Grand Duchy.
2) Send 0.5% of the Vvardeni GCP to the Grand Duchy over four years.

President Derrik for one is glad the war has been prevented before any major losses. But some Vvardeni politicians are stating that Vvarden could've waited a while more, and that using the rest of the RA, and perhaps the SUN, Vvarden could have kept fighting.
Also, many are criticising President Derrik's swift peace proposal, to which others say he did it in perfect timing.

Also, the Vokun State has elected a Chancellor, a sort of extra President for the Vokun population, with both under the rule of the Emperors. Chancellor Neloth is a mid-aged, wise and quite serious Vokun who spent the good part of his life as a General and a Scholar. He currently plans to build several new towns near ore and coal deposits in the east, boosting Vvarden's economy.

EMP missile in development
The Corporate Empire has begun development for an EMP missile. The specifics are still being discussed but the missile would cause no damage to organic and non organic materials/lifeforms and would disable all electronic components within a 500 mile radius. This device would be use in situations where the threat of WMD's was present and where a nonlethal alternative would be preferred. The board was unclear on why they were developing the device but it is suspected that it it would be used as a deterrent for such technologies as neutrino warheads and hydra nukes. The board also wasn't clear on whether or not the devices would be sold but it is almost a guarantee that they will be.

Corporate Forces Return Home
Sine the Vokun/Vvarden war has ended and the Duchy/Vvarden war has come to a close, it is now safe for Corporate troops to return home. They are expected back at the end of this week.

Wolfish Navy Deployed
Late last night WN ships could be seen leaving the harbor heading out to international water. The Corporate Empire has not disclosed why but it is believed to be for training exercises.

Wolfish Nuclear Program Expands
Rervic Industries released a statement yesterday, informing the public that the Wolfish Nuclear program would be expanding through the next 6 months. This would include updating the nuclear reactors powering most of the country and expanding the Wolfish Nuclear Arsenal.

Eaglehead forces begin to defect
Midgar,46566-Both military and civilians from eaglehead have begun to surrender to Duchy forces. With dwindling supplies both the military and civilian populace have begun to defect to the duchy side. With the failure of the Eaglehead polices anti government forces are protesting the failure of eaglehead polices and wanting to merge back into the Grand Duchy.Dealing with the blockade from the Duchy forces,the protests and the defections it seems like it is only a matter of time before the Eaglehead government collapses.

Missile redundancy being built into new missiles
Midgar,46566-Redundancy circuits are being built into the missile.The purpose is to make sure key systems are protected from any system failure in the missile systems.The new systems will make sure to at least keep the missile armed in low power situations.Also planed is to make sure all missile systems are protected from any potential EMP by using proper shielding against EMP attacks.

Doctor Splendid was speaking to the Liaison from Harmony in the discussion room.

"You better have some results for us doctor or we are pulling the plug. The Shareholders are breathing down my neck for something big." said the liaison.

The doctor was sweating a little, its true. They had nothing. She had no idea what she was gonna do. Without the funding from Harmony she would lose her job and be forced on the streets. Then her wristband lit up, it was her assistant Jeromy.

'Er, I have to take this call real quick Mr. Liaison." Stuttered the doctor as the liaison's eyebrow cocked. "What is it Jeromy? This better be something! The Harmony Liaison is here and he's pissed."

"Doctor! This is amazing news! The boys in the lab, they perfected Aegis! You need to come to Lab #4 immediately and see this!" exclaimed the assistant.

"Very well Jeromy, We will be there momentarily." She hung up and looked at the Harmony Representative. "I have something to show you, if you would just follow me."

He nodded and they walked to Lab #4

Lab #4, DarkHaven Laboratories

Jeromy, Dr. Splendid and the Liaison approached a window looking into the lab. Inside the room they could see a target dummy at the far end of the room. There is also a debtor prisoner in the room with a gun in is hand. Between the dummy and the prisoner there is a faint light blue net-like object attached to two poles on either side.

Jeromy turned on the intercom. "Attention Subject #254325, please fire the gun at the target dummy and you will be granted freedom."

The Subject looked around and shrugged. He aimed the gun at the dummy and fired. Almost instantly his head exploded as the bullet ricocheted off the net and back into his skull. He dropped dead.

Splendid and the Liaison looked stunned. "What is that blue thing?" asked the Rep.

"That my good sir is Aegis." Said Splendid. "It's our latest in shield technology. While Nedea and most of the civilized nations have had shielding tech attached to their buildings and ships, none of them have been able to suspend that shield independently. All others were attached to a neutron mesh that would distribute shock across the shield to avoid breach. Now, with Aegis, we can suspend that shield independently across any distance provided enough power is supplied."

The Rep looked stunned and finally spoke. "Doctor Splendid, you have all the funding you need. Wait until Harmony gets their hands on this. We could prevent all sorts of attacks with this! What are the applications?"

"Well, for starters, currently, all the power armor that Harmony mercs wear use the standard shield tech, this prevents most punctures into the body, however, the mesh cannot stop the force applied, so the soldier will still feel the bullet hit. With Aegis applied, the shield can extend to several feet off the merc and absorb all damage and shock, leaving the merc unharmed. Aegis won't fully replace the Standard mesh, but certainly can be activated in times of extreme penetration, a grenade or chaingun fire for example. The downside is the merc won't be able to fire back while Aegis is active though. Additionally, given enough power, Aegis could engulf entire cities in the event of nuclear threat."

"Amazing, there must be drawbacks though?"

"Well, yes. Aegis uses a lot of power and individual mercenary reactors would have to recharge the Aegis battery before it can be used again. When powered on, Aegis does not need a constant stream to stay active, it will just slowly dissipate as it takes damage. Aegis is strongest against kinetic damage, however, when it comes to neutron attacks, Aegis weakens much faster. So for my city example, Aegis would only be able to take so many hits before it drops, unless an extreme amount of power can be supplied. Several hits from a nuke or a couple of neutrino missiles could drop Aegis pretty quick but it could stay up maybe just long enough to mount a counter offensive. This is when our anti-ballistics come into play. Thank Gods for those Moarfallians and their paranoid ways."

"This is excellent. You will get your grant money by tomorrow. Give me a demo to show the shareholder's and we can move on."

"Thank you sir. You wont regret this."

The Liaison left the lab. Splendid was ecstatic. All that grant money she could retire early and never worry about the streets again.

Temporary Chief Elder put in power

Senator Robert Doyle has become Cheif Elder until the next election in a year

New Toola - The New Toolan Government has chosen a temporary Chief Elder to fill the vacancy of Chief Elder with the elections over a year away. Senator Robert Doyle has been chosen as that replacement.

Senator Doyle has served in the New Toolan Senate for 30 years and was head of the Military Arms committee in the Senate. He was known as the most traditional conservative in the Senate and in the New Toolan Government. He was a vocal critic of the hybrids in Wolfenstein and a supporter of strong conservative ideas. He was considered an extremist by the Liberal Party and even some moderates in the Conservtaive Party considered him a bit of a radical.

In a vote of 54-46, Senator Doyle was accepted by the Senate to serve as temporary Chief Elde for the next year and a half. He will have the full powers of Chief Elder and can exercise that power accordingly.

Eaglehead government topples
Midgar,46566- The Eaglehead government has fallen. With the loss of the government the military forces have surrendered and 46566 troops have entered into eaglehead proper. The next step for the Grand Duchy is to start to reform the local governments to bring them back into the Grand Duchy.Food is being brought in to help the former civilians and military of eaglehead.The Ealgehead military is going to be merged back into the Grand Duchy's military and spread out among the divisions.

Vvarden Bankrupt After Paying 46566 Peace Demands, Rioting In Cities

After the Grand Duchy of 46566 proposed a peace treaty and Vvarden accepted, Vvarden is now currently bankrupt after a huge spending campaign and the payment to the Grand Duchy. Pressure is being put on the new Vokun coal mines to sell anything they find in the hopes of solving this. Also because of the bankruptcy, Vvarden is only able to pay just under a billion instead of the planned fifty. There is currently rioting in major cities. None have been killed though about a dozen are wounded.
Vvarden is now currently petitioning the RA for financial aid.

New Toola allows for hybrids to enter New Toola

Chief Elder Robert Doyle expressed his disdain over allowing hybrids back into New Toola

New Toola - In a very surprising move by the New Toolan Government, New Toola has lifted its ban on hybrids entering the nation. In a Senate vote of 56-44 and a vote in the Council of Elders which was 8-7, hybrids will be allowed to enter New Toola once again and seek residency.

Elder Claire Davis and Elder James Reid were among those who voted in favor of the bill. Elder Henry Crane also voted for the bill. Temporary Chief Elder Robert Doyle and Elder Beverly Mitchell were among those in direct opposition to the bill but it wasn't enough to stop it.

The public is very divided on the issue but the hybrids will be allowed to come regardless. Chief Elder Robert Doyle was quoted saying this...

"I am disgusted to see that we have allowed for these beasts to reside in our nation. I will respect the wishes of the Senate and the Council of Elders but I must protest this. I stand in direct opposition of this bill and I will fight this with all the powers given to me. For now they may enter but mark my words, I will not give in."

New Toola has opened its doors to hybrids and has already seen a small number of hybrids entering the nation. Its minuscule and slow moving but there has been movement into New Toola.

Today, the Saratogan Military High Command has ordered a withdrawal of military forces out of Vvarden. 251, 000 task force left to return to Saratoga for retraining and re-organization. The Saratoga government has also order an increase In active army personal to around 2.5 milllion. Citing in a press conference after the annoucement the department of Defence said "the violence growing around the world poses a growing threat to the safety of our nation. We are going to be ready to do an military action needed to insure the safety of our people."

Lastly, The Prime Minister has lowered the National Alertness level to 3 (moderate Mobilization).

Military Forces In Vvarden Reduced to 100,000, To Participate In Manhunt for Wanted Vvardeni Criminal
Old Sentinel, Vvarden- upon the end of the crisis within Vvarden, the Emperor has chosen to bring 150,000 Imperial military personnel home. Among the soldiers coming home, Lord Cord has been summoned by the Emperor, along with lords Sol and Zaph, to discuss possible strategies in order to search for the criminal who not only sparked the Vvardeni-Vokun war, but also caused Imperial International relations to tense with several allies and neutral states. Meanwhile, the troops remaining in Vvarden are going to search the country for the whereabouts of this criminal, known from his days on Enkon as Ursus. A kill bounty has been issued to the Bounty Hunter's Guild in Zaphiron, set for a total of 3 million $K.

Highway Restoration Projects Begin in Imperial Desolaas, Imperial Tech Distributed to Desolaan Populace(Desolaas RP)
Imperial Desolaan Sector, Desolaas- the Arbiter over the Desolaan Sector has begun restoration projects of several major highways within the sector. Several plans outline restructuring the highway network into an organized grid network between towns, the purpose of this being easier access and shorter travel times for construction materials, personnel, and civilians to cross from one town to another.

Along with these projects, Imperial social workers have begun to distribute Imperial technology to native Desolaan citizens in order to allow them better access to the massive Imperial power network, which would drastically improve energy quality throughout the sector, as well as putting the citizens in line with Imperial laws prohibiting the burning of fossil fuels.

It was a city of squares and towers, of busy, narrow, twisting streets, of fortress-like palaces with massive stone walls and over-hanging balconies, of rustic temples whose facades were covered with geometrical patterns in black and white, pink and blue, green and red, all connected by bridges and canals. Florenice was the newly finished Capital of the Empire, and the Emperor himself had decided to hold a Masked Ball in his new Palace. It was a splendid affair, the men wearing tunics of crimson velvet embroidered with gold, black velvet pants with broad scarlet stripes, polished leather boots with gold buckles. Each wore a short cloak over his left shoulder, showing his coat of arms, and upon their heads, wore unique masks depicting the heraldry found on their cloaks. Many wore helms as well, with feathers of scarlet, gold, azure and lime pluming above. The women were dressed even more impressively, donning flowing dresses of vibrant and varied patters, with trains flowing yards behind them. Many ladies of the court wore stiff ruffs about their necks and chins, others wore gold or silver ornament, which fixed flowing cloaks to their gowns. The Women also donned the heraldic masks, if more feminine in form.

The Ballroom itself was a vast hall, spanning 25 metres wide and 50 metres long. The hall consisted of two levels; the lower level being a dance floor, measuring 15 metres by 40 metres. This floor was connected to a surrounding walk way by a large staircase at either side. The Separation between the walk way and the dance floor was comprised of a gilded railing carved in elegant curves and ornaments and slender columns, made of veined marble decorated with gold leaf, which towered 10 metres, meeting the ceiling which was comprised of allegorical paintings of mythical figures and legendary tales. Crimson Banners bearing Gold Lions, and Azure Banners bearing Silver Lions streamed between the columns, adding further majesty to this magnificent ballroom, and at the north end of the hall, on a dias of purple carpet, there stood a magnificent throne, carved into the shape of a lion's mouth, made entirely of Gold, and seated upon it was the Emperor, resplendent in a tunic of Imperial Purple Velvet embroidered with gold thread, wearing a matching full length cloak of Velvet draped across both his shoulders and lined with Ermine Fur.

This ball was to be the most magnificent occaision in Croxoconian History, but it only took one shot, a shot the entire world heard, to bring it crashing down. Just as he rose to make a speech celebrating the completion of the new capital, which was to be a monument to Croxoconian Culture.... BANG!. The Emperor fell to the floor, blood running down the dias. Messages were sent immediately to the furthest corners of the world, and by the next morning, all the world knew. Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts had played their Game of Thrones, and by the morning, Dark Wings had carried the Darkest Words. The Tyrannical Emperor, who had dragged the republic into ruin and had ruled as a despot, was dead, and his successor was to reign over the most prosperous and expansionist era Croxoco would ever enjoy.

Emperor Charles was dead, and so the Game of Thrones began.....

Woman that has been lost for over 12 years reunited with her family
VESPASIAPOLIS. Sara Annea Mac'Dannean, a Cyrellian immigrant to Herargon, went missing twelve years ago. She was last seen in one of the ships that leaved Enkon before disappearing entirely. But now, thanks to the efforts of the Amber Alert Agency (AAA), an agency that tries to find lost people, she has been reunited with her family. More at page 12.

Floods east to Caisus kills 12 scientists working for natural science
TWELVE scientists and another 34 locals have been killed when a flood struck their place. The flood causes are unknown.
Suspected is that due to the fact that one of the scientists accidentally opened the hand-made dam, it resulted into a flood that flowed over the small tents.
Remarkably enough, the monkeys in the tents survived by escaping from their boxes and biting their way out of the tents. Four people - three men and one women - survived the accident.

Prototype tank enters production for field testing

Last week, the Imperial Minister of Defence, Vladamir Brulovich, announced that a new tank would enter production, 500 to be exact, for field testing. The tank is called Object-860 in the labs but it will be formally called the ZSU-43-P for it's market name and official name.

The Unibearian National Arms Company (U.N.A.C.) had been contracted to design a tank that could outperform the already obsolete IS-15U. The IS-15U was a tall machine with a high silhouette and a tendency to overheat when the 'IRON CURTAIN' was in use or the vehicle was used in hotter climates. Not only that but it seemed necessary to update the Unibearian tank fleet.

Unibearia Mobilizes, Rebels *TERRORISTS* start moving in land

The Wolven Empire of Unibearia officially mobilizes to fight the Rebels that have been committing acts of terrorism on the People of Unibearia.

Some 100,000 soldiers will be sent to be commanded by Frontier Command to help the fight but the situation is dire, some 15 settlements have already defected to join the rebels in pure fear of being annihilated, the Czar has personally gave his word that by the end of this year, they will be a thing of the past. Many politicians of all parties are stating that Vvarden needs to be free of the demands of the Grand Duchy, but others are cautious and say that Vvarden must pay to not be invaded. Whatever the case, Vvarden cannot meet it's debts and will infact default on the debt.

Midgar,46566-The populace of the Grand Duchy are angry about the slap in the face by the Vvarden defaulting on the indemnity they owe to the Grand Duchy.While the Grand Duchy has gotten the first payment from the Vvarden government.Cries of restarting the war against Vvarden nation have been growing louder and louder.While no formal declaration of war has left the government or military offices he military have begun mobilizing some of it's forces on what it considered training up it's forces and getting the former eaglehead forces into the military. At this time around 40 divisions have begun it's training and are training on amphibious beach landings.

Admiral Wolfsteller looks at Admiral Smith straight in the eyes, "Quiet! You know why we are here? We are here because you asked us too so if you keep running your trap I'll make sure the last thing that gets fixed around here is healthcare and food. Now I want you and the 2 other clowns to stay as far away from me as possible." Admiral Wolfsteller returns to the map.

"I'm afraid we can't do that." The booming voice of SSA Gavin Healy, Desolaas Intelligence Agency, says while storming into the room. "Our job is to make sure you assist our nation in re-building and not rape it of it's remaining value then leaving."

The Admiral sets down her pen, slowly, and stands up. She walks up to Gavin, looking down to avoid eye contact. The Admiral walks up to him and stop. Gavin, towering 1 foot over her looks down at her, attempting to predict her next words... or move.

"Thousand of years ago back on this ancient planet called Earth during the second great war there was this man. This man I find had many similarities to me, we both had the choice to let these thousand of people live or die. Now this man worked for this nation that took over half of the planet in the course of 3 years,. This man, my great time I don't know many grandfather was given the assignment to take care of thousand of these religion loving people. My grandfather, seeing the mind controlling power that religion had choice to eradicate that plague before it had the oppertunity spread farther and infect more people. My grandfather tried to show people the evil truth of religion, how powerful it become if left uncheck. They discredited him, calling him an animal and war criminal, they tried and executed him for war crime, infected by that plague, only after he successfully exterminated 6 million subjects of the plague. My family has vowed to continue his war against religion but lucky for you I can't without permission from the higher ups. You better let me do my work and leave me alone because I'm not afraid to just ignore the high command and go on my own. Got it?"

Gavin, baffed and shocked by what he had just heard, stumbles, "ah... yeah.... I mean yes Madem Admiral!"

Minor Mine Near Indoraynon Seized By Small Group Of Vokun

After the Grand Duchy of 46566 has motivated Vokun in the minute war between Vvarden and the Grand Duchy, a small group of about a hundred Vokun have taken control of a small mine outside Indoraynon, stating that they want all Vvardeni dead and the Grand Duchy to invade. Forces are quickly moving in and are currently in combat with the Vokun. Most are aged 25-27, and many former soldiers.

Also, Vvarden's military have placed outposts and guards across shores to protect against a Grand Duchy invasion, if such a thing occurs. Approximately a million are spread from the shores of New Erriel to the border, while Falensarano and Valenvaryon are patrolled by approximately 100,000 Vokun troops, a force made to deal with the Vokun State's problems.

(Secret) A million Vvardeni troops are stationed around Falensarano and Valenvaryon.

Midgar,46566-A force has left the Grand Duchy waters.With the recent troop movements by the Vvarden military this shows that the country is not as bankrupt as they say they are.With that public knowledge of them trying to weasel there way out of the treaty the Grand Duchy has officially re declared war against Vvarden.With that in mind a invasion force has already left the Grand Duchy.the invasion force in numbering around 40 divisions.This force is a exploratory force headed towards Vvarden. A bigger invasion force is planed after the force sent creates a beachhead.

With the recent closed door discussions with the government of Vvarden. The Prime Minister has chosen to make it public of the defense pact created between the two nations public with the recent Declaration of War on Vvarden by the Grand Duchy of 46566. The High Command has ordered a full mobilization of all Saratogan forces as well as the Task Force to about face and return to Vvarden to shore up the Vvarden army with 251,000 fresh troops.

The High Command has also order the 1st and 3rd Attack fleets out to sea as well as Prime Minister pride and joy, 1st Attack Submarine Fleet, to interpret the Grand Duchy invasion fleet. The High Command hope to raise around 8 million more troops with the mobilization.

Lastly, The Prime Minister has called all other nations of Yukon to join in the fight against 46566. In a press release he stated, "We must put down this nation of criminals and jingoists. They are the biggest threat to Yukon and must be defeated for if they are not we might as well just give up everything we hold dear to ourselves now before the Duchy rapes all of it from us. Please stand up against them."

Duchy Forces land
West of Vvarden-The Duchy forces landed west of the Vvarden homeland. The forces plan to attack the city of FaiasMauron. This move is to bypass the troops stationed on the shores of Vvarden. The hopes are that by getting territory so close to the Vokun borderland that it will cause the Vokun to rebel against the Vvarden. With the move to strengthen it's forces on the shore the Vvarden government has taken troops out of the northern territories.

Duchy reacts to the Saratogan-Vvarden defensive pact
Midgar,46566-With the recent defensive pact announcement by the saratogan officials the Grand Duke had this to say:
"While we understand the Saratogans have to protect their interests in the south west and by forming the pact you stand to gain influence within the Vvarden government.I'll say this now we have no interests in expansion.Most of the damages are the fault of the Vvarden government.They firstly recognized both factions involved in a civil war,they also signed a treaty then stated they were bankrupt shortly there after.If they bothered to ask for the lowering of the indemnity we would have worked with them.I would like to ask the saratogan government how can you trust the Vvarden government?While so quickly declaring bankruptcy shows they don't value any treaties they have signed.By signing a pact with you this could damage their position with the TRA. There willing to turn their back on alliance they help found because it no longer was in their interests.The government of Vvarden is incapable to run it's own country and purposely ran itself into bankruptcy.Our invasion is just to form a sensible government within Vvarden.The Grand Duchy would be willing to cut a deal between Vvarden and the Duchy if the talks are in a neutral country.

The hybrid reaches for it, his hand quavering. He flips the safety off and points it towards his head. He inhales deeply and tightens his finger on the trigger.

After the call to arms by Saratoga, The Czar has issued a complete mobilization of the nation, and that transportation of 1 million (~68 divisions) and around 200 air wings are to be be transported by space,sea and air via Unibearia's bulk stock of space transports (Equipped with Cloaking systems) each being capable of carrying 500,000 men with equipment and supplies to Vvarden by the end of the week. To this, the Czar has made a call to arms to all FULL-MEMBER (Zaph, Thalmath) nations of MAT to join the fight via holocall. In addition, the Unibearian nation has closed all media inside the Empire and seized control of all broadcasting stations (Internet servers have been disconnected) overnight and has secretly lowered to DEFCON 1. To this, the W.A.M.D.S.N. (Wolven Anti Missile Defence System Network) has come Online as protocol dictates it.

The Unibearian Fleet, still under construction, has also been sent to protect local waters. The remaining air force has been put on high alert.

Many citizens have been a little worried by the recent troop movement but many have been apathetic about it since the same has been happening for the last 2 (RP) Weeks.

An armada of ships begun traveling at full speed from a western military base in Thalmath. Meanwhile, hundreds of jet fighters and dropships launched from the east. All were headed towards 46566. Millions of soldiers all prepared to fight alongside their friends and enemies to eradicate the threat of the have duchy and aid Vvarden. With all of a quarter military remaining in Taerbole, the tremendous glass dome rose as a last defense against any other troops. Thalmath was vulnerable. Thalmath was at war.

Corporate Promise Stands True
Today the Corporate Empire announced that the their promise of military aid to SUN members is being fulfilled. Late last night the Empire announced that the navy deployment was in fact related to the Vvardani/Grand Duchy war.The entire Wolfish Navy has been deployed(5,000 ships) and the WA(4,000 airships), it is expected that almost 10 million Wolfish troops will be in Vvarden with in hours.

Corporate Empire Declares War On Grand Duchy
Earlier this morning the Corporate Empire declared war on the Grand Duchy. A spokesperson from Rervic Industries had this to say:

"The Grand Duchy is run by an egotistical megalomaniac who thinks he can control the world, we will not stand for this greed."

New Wolfeinstein goes into Defcon 1
With the recent declaration of war on the Grand Duchy, the Wolfish Army has been mobilized set in key defensive positions around the border and all the major cities have been placed on high alert. The Wolfish Missile Defense System has also been activated, in hopes of preventing fallout in New Wolfeinstein.

New Wolfeinstein purchases 50,000 Harmony mercs
