After we draw this discussion out Poland-ball style.
Also, I just realized, what with most of you boycotting Lyras... that would actually make me a pretty attractive arms-supplier.

Allanea: Wanting to avoid fighting Lyras' fuck-huge military is also a reasonable IC consideration
TPF: Who is stupid enough to attack a Lyran convoy?
Sumer: Honestly, I'd rather face Doom's military with Doom having a 3-1 advantage over me, than take a 1-1 fight with a well-supplied Lyran tank unit.
Kinsgard: RL Lyras is like a real life video game character.
Ieperithem: Eighty four. Eighty four percent of their terrifyingly massive GDP goes directly into their military. And they actually know how to manage it. It's safe to say there isn't a single nation that could feasibly stand against them if they wanted it to die.
Yikes. Just... Yikes.

Woah! That was magical.
(You post it, and they will come...)
As I said, I've made multiple purchases from you.

That is rather... unnerving. Makes me wonder if he has a bot going around alerting him when his name pops up in a thread or something. Man that would be cool...
Anyways, I (and my puppet) don't really buy from anyone. It's all either real world materiel or stuff I designed myself. That said, I've never really had a complaint with Lyran Arms. I've occasionally come across people using their equipment, and its all been fairly realistic high-end military gear.

Ta for the sentiment it's good to know. I do try. Try to integrate my forces with our current understanding of technology, and try to generate the most useful combat effects. I wore green long enough myself to get really frustrated with cost-cutting. It can bite harder than people realise, out at the pointy end.
GAmeTopians, I lurk. I read, take in, and try to see what niche I can fill with my next design. Hasn't been much new stuff needed of late, incidentally. Some things being built, but the effort I put into each means I generally want to be fairly sure what I want to build, before I spend the months it takes me of research and writing before the next is ready.
So I do chime in unexpectedly, every so often. This seemed as good a time as any.

Peopleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, we had a system.
EDIT:
Lots of images on Lyras' arms front btw, probably should fix that man.

Most of us boycott Lyras?
And h my gods, we finally summoned him.
I boycott for bandwagon effect. And because I'm trying to take the arms supplying niche in my own region and some people buy Lyran and we can't have competition.

Think there are a couple. Tend to make noise, though. I'd be happy to discuss any criticisms, but no one seems to really want to discuss such. That's a pretty legitimate rationale, though. Protection of one's own defence industry is entirely valid.

It operates closely with the USAF, USMC and USN.

Oh trust me, I know HAWX. So far, there hasn't been a need or use for one.
But you're a puppet, so I'm now wondering who you are, eh?
