"Of course, Mr. Hayes. Hold on just one second..." He said as he got in his cell phone and stepped out of the room. A few paced around briefly on the other side of the glass door, talking into the phone. A few seconds later he closed out the phone and walked back into the room.
"It will be some time before the official with the CSA can arrive with the necessary documents to prove the satellites launch and orbit path, as well as mission capabilities.
However, until then shall we move onto the evidence of Ardokian involvement in the Jezzine Massacre in Lebanon, unless of course Mr. Quintus has something he would wish to elaborate on?" Peresque looked in the direction of the Merickian consul.

Flynn interrupted. "Okay, okay, okay. It is obvious you are not acknowledging my rebuttals. So I'll just come right out and say this." She stayed silent for several seconds, looking around at the others in the room carefully. "Ardoki did not intentionally shoot down that airliner. It was a terrible accident. The crew of the ship thought it was a hostile aircraft attempting to attack them. They tried to contact it, but we have since discovered there was something wrong with their radio." Flynn started to tear up, she took out a tissue and blew her nose. "The Ardokian government is so embarrassed and upset about what we've done. We shall compensate the families of the victims, and make sure such an accident never happens again." she said.

"Wrong." Peresque began as he realized she was beginning to fold a lot sooner than he had expected.
"I have been acknowledging your rebuttals - those of which could be considered rebuttals and not just you placing your fingers in your ears - with facts and logic yet you have refused to provide any of your own.
Now, to add to the mounting evidence which I will have undeniably verified within the hour, you have now completely verified everything I have just gone lengths to prove, and in doing so completely destroyed your credibility. Just minutes ago you were making a fool of yourself insisting we had fabricated the evidence against your nation, and just now you come forward with the claim that everything which we supposedly fabricated - according to you - is true but it was just an random accident and not your fault?
If you went such lengths to lie before why should anyone here be inclined to beleive you?" Peresque drove home his point. He knew from having paid attention to many trials and having a number of lawyer friends that there was nothing that looked worse on the accused than switching defensive claims suddenly; although apparently behaving like a narcissistic toddler on behalf of your country in a room full of foreign leaders was giving the aforementioned action a run for its money...

"Well, it seems your verification is not necessary anymore," Hayes said to Peresque. He turned to Flynn. "As for you - I'm detecting an unreasonably high level of utter bullshit in your claims. Are you telling me that the Ardokian navy is unable to tell the difference between a passenger airliner and a hostile aircraft? And are you telling me that the crew's response to an aircraft flying solo at 38,000 feet in international airspace on a scheduled flight path was to attempt to contact it, fail to notice that their radio was broken, classify it as a hostile aircraft for no logical reason, and then shoot it down?"

"The Ardokian government loves all of humanity, and we were very embarrassed that we made such a foolish mistake. That is why we tried to cover it up, we didn't want to be thought of as killers or foolish." said Flynn. "The crew of the ship were fresh out of training school, had never used their radar before, nor had they been given instruction on using their radio. So it wasn't their fault they misidentified the plane, tried to use a non-working radio, and took out the threat. It was all a big accident." she said as she held back tears.

"So let me get this straight; you expect me to believe that your military put an entire crew of apparently poorly-trained rookies into a presumably highly expensive guided missile destroyer with no veteran staff on board, and sent them off to Cuba - a nation stuck in the heart of Yankee, Inyurstan and Cuscatlani overlapping influence - before recalling them, at which point these supposed rookies took their various radar systems which they had apparently never used before and were able to randomly track this one aircraft and guide two missiles into it?
Also, what kind of cadet program do you have where you're cadets of any branch of the military, police or even militia for that matter don't know how to use a radio?" Peresque questioned Flynn's sudden confession and obviously fake attempt at crying. She was so bad at her mock tears, convicted killers would even laugh at her awful technique. The more she talked the more her credibility fell deeper and deeper into a pit...
He then turned to the rest of the room.
"Anything else need be said before we move on to our next topic?"

"Yes, I expect you to believe it. Because it's the truth. Now you can either accept what I have said, or continue to doubt the truth. Either way, I'm done arguing with you narrow-minded rightists!" she said in a stern voice as she sat down on the ground in an act of defiance.

She knew she made a mistake when she changed her story, they had tricked her, and that was annoying and embarrassing. Now she just had to see the reactions of everyone, and what they planned to do.

President Peresque sighed and rolled his eyes at Flynn's tactics. She was only maturing in the sense that her antics had evolved from that of a spoiled child to that of an angsty pre-teen.
"Lets think about this for a moment: you lied to all of our faces a matter of minutes ago, upon realization that I could prove our evidence was legit, you then came forth and admitted you were lying but also made up an unlikely sob story that conveniently still absolves your nation of guilt - but falls apart when even basic logic is applied to the scenario; yet we would be the quote 'narrow-minded' ones for not believing the unlikely story from the mouth of a known liar?"
Jack Peresque wasn't trying to trick her at all. He was here to present the evidence the intelligence services of his nation had gathered which implicated Ardokian involvement in two deliberate and unprovoked attacks against civilian targets; the only one that had come here to "trick" anyone was Flynn herself.
He also knew that if her government let her in on the fact that they totally shot down that airliner, then she must certainly know that they were involved and arguably responsible for the Jezzine Massacre...

Hayes shook his head as Flynn's story fell apart. He was now convinced that it was an intentional shoot down. "Let us move on. Ms. Flynn has repeatedly failed to defend her claims, and I do not wish to listen to this child scream anymore."

Hayes raised an eyebrow at Flynn's lack of knowledge, especially for a government official. "Ms. Flynn, it seems that you do not understand what an anarcho-capitalist is. I do not advocate the elimination of the state, and neither does any other West Aurelian government official. If we did, the Republic of West Aurelia would not exist."

"Medication, why am I not surprised" Rokuro mumbled casually. Rokuro elected to sit quietly as Peresque presented evidence and Flynn pointlessly argued even after her defense fell apart. He scribbled more notes down and visually indicated that Peresque may continue. He then looked towards Flynn "you are not the only one with a doctorate you self righteous piece of"- Rokuro started before Rebecca calmed him down.

Peresque continued as he flipped a switch and played a video which showed highly sophisticated forces supported Islamo-communist forces as they attacked a predominately Christian Lebanese village. The footage also showed rocket artillery and self-propelled guns firing right into the crowds of fleeing civilians.
"As you can see from the footage, there are four peices of artillery, as well as signifficant supporting assets. None of the local terror groups in the region are known to have access to this level of equipment. Further analysis conducted in Lebanon on both the warhead remains and destroyed vehicles confirms they are in fact DR-29 howitzers and E-14 MLRS units." He then displayed images of Inyurstan and Cuscatlani analysts next to a destroyed rocket artillery vehicle, still in identifiable shape despite being blackened and ripped in half by a drone missile. An image next to it was a photo from a neutral web source of an Ardokian E-14 MLRS - exposing the obvious nature of the damaged vehicle. More photos showed key indentification peices left in unexploded warhead fragments and other remnants of the equipment.
"Word on the ground from both locals and our own scouts report that the supporting forces were "White" and of "European-esque heritage"; and the analysis from the above of the destroyed vehicle corps reported that Ardokian markings and writing were found all over lesser-damaged units and unscathed support equipment. However; this is only the tip of the ice berg...
The following message was received by Inyurstan and Cuscatlani forces stationed in Lebanon at the time of the massacre:"

A few minutes later two armed guards in body armor with pistols at their sides and PSK-1 submachineguns at their backs came in carrying a prisoner in a white uniform with a path that read "P.O.W.". The man was pale white, yet almost pinkish in a way compared to the mocha/tan colored Franco-Hispanic officers holding him captive. The Ardokian POW's that had been taken into custody by Inyursta - those who hadn't attempted escape - had been seperated and questioned individually; and the Inyurstans had likewise chosen one of the most weak-minded rookies they had found to blurt out his name, rank and nationality...

Flynn was shocked when the Ardokian soldier was brought in. She thought they had all been killed.

"Yes. I do not deny the deployment of Ardokian forces in Lebanon. They were sent to aid local militia in anti-terrorism activities. However not long after they landed on the shore, we lost contact with the indefinitely. Their orders were t defend Sidon from terrorist insurgents, that is all the Ardokian government knows."

She looked toward the Ardokian soldier, and then back at Peresque. "How many more prisoners like him do you have? How dare you not notify us that you had Ardokians in custody! This is kidnapping!"

Peresque looked right through her lies.
"If they were sent to aid the local militias in anti-terrorism activities then why were they giving direct fire support to terrorists assaulting the local militias?" He said, raising his eyebrow as her claims stood in the exact opposite of everything multi-national forces had witnessed and observed.

"We currently have 63 survivors in various POW detention facilities. We originally took a hundred but quite a few had a loyalty to your party that demanded they escape unfortunately..."

Flynn stared at the Inyurstan for a moment, thinking him simple. "The Maronite militias had been attacking muslims and left-wingers for ages. Their reign of terror had to be stopped. We intended to detain them and bring them before a war crimes tribunal, however they refused to surrender." she said.

He wondered what she had honestly come here expecting to defend against, as she was utterly unprepared to deal with actual evidence, and instead could only shout baseless accusations without the capacity to defend them.

"Furthermore, as you may know of the Nuremburg Trials, the defense of "just following orders" was not valid to absolve the Nazi war criminals of their guilt; and by God it will not be enough to absolve these PTLP war criminals of theirs..." Her blatant hypocrisy and borderline racism infuriated Peresque. At least the Islamo-communist terrorists hadn't any intention to be taken alive - as the Inyurstan forces had no intention of taking them prisoner; while these Ardokian gringo scum acted as if they somehow deserved the rights which they had just stripped from so many innocent civilians...

Flynn realised she had changed her story without noticing. "You must have misheard me before. What I just said was the absolute truth." She wondered if there was any point in going along with this defence, however she continued "None of our soldiers actively took part in the counter-terrorism operation. Only a minority of them defended the Islamo-Communist forces against attack by Maronite terrorists."
